Num estudo com 66 professores, analisámos a relação existente entre a perceção de enriquecimento trabalho-família e a saúde do indivíduo, numa base diária. Baseando-nos na teoria da conservação dos recursos (Hobfoll, 1989, 2002) hipotetizámos que o nível diário de enriquecimento trabalho-família sentido aumentaria os recursos do indivíduo, nomeadamente a sua autoeficácia percebida, o que, por sua vez, afetaria positivamente a sua saúde. Os professores que participaram no estudo preencheram questionários diários durante uma semana de trabalho, tendo as variáveis em análise sido medidas com escalas previamente validadas na literatura. Os resultados evidenciaram que o enriquecimento trabalho-família sentido diariamente está associado a uma melhor saúde percebida (com referência a um menor número de sintomas psicossomáticos). Para além disso, os resultados mostraram que o efeito do enriquecimento trabalho-família na saúde é parcialmente explicado pelo aumento da perceção de autoeficácia do indivíduo. As limitações do estudo, bem como as implicações teóricas e práticas dos resultados encontrados e as sugestões para pesquisas futuras, são discutidas. In a study with 66 teachers, we analyzed the relationship between the perception of work-family enrichment and health of the individual on a daily basis. Based on the conservation of resources theory (COR) (Hobfoll 1989, 2002) we hypothesized that the daily level of work-family enrichment would increase the resources of the individuals, including their perceived self-efficacy, which, in turn, would positively affect their health. Teachers who participated in the study filled out daily questionnaires during a week of work, and the variables analyzed were measured with scales previously validated in the literature. The results showed that daily perceived work-family enrichment is associated with better perceived health (participants reported less psychosomatic symptoms). In addition, the results showed that the effect of work-family enrichment in health is partially explained by an increased perception of self-efficacy. The limitations of the study, as well as the theoretical and practical implications of the findings and suggestions for future research are discussed.

O presente estudo teve como objetivo estudar a relação entre a identificação organizacional e a saúde percecionada numa amostra de professores e averiguar o potencial papel mediador do enquadramento positivo para a explicação desta relação. Para este efeito, recorremos a uma amostra constituída por 108 professores dos 2º e 3º ciclos (ensino básico) e do ensino secundário, de estabelecimentos públicos e privados da cidade do Funchal, que preencheram dois questionários distintos no 2º e no 3º períodos letivos de 2013/2014. Os resultados obtidos revelaram que os professores com níveis mais elevados de identificação com a escola em que leccionam, reportam uma perceção mais positiva da sua saúde geral três meses depois. Por outro lado, quando comparados com os professores com menores níveis de identificação organizacional, os professores para quem a pertença à escola é mais importante para a sua auto-definição, tendem a enquadrar mais positivamente as situações com que se confrontam na sua escola. Os resultados sugerem que o enquadramento positivo explica a razão pela qual a identificação organizacional está associada à perceção que os professores têm da sua saúde. Estes resultados constituem um fator impulsionador para a elaboração de planos de prevenção de saúde em contexto organizacional, sublinhando a necessidade de haver um maior envolvimento e cooperação por parte das chefias escolares, por forma a serem concebidas estratégias que atendam e incrementem a identificação organizacional e a implementação de táticas de enquadramento positivo dos professores na sua escola. The present study aims to analyze the relationship between organizational identification and perceived health in a sample of school teachers, as well the potential mediator role of positive framing in this relationship. Our sample was constituted by 108 school teachers from 2nd and 3th basic and high schools from Funchal (private and public schools) who filled two questionnaires in the 2nd and 3th terms of 2013/2014. Our results indicate that the school teachers with higher levels of organizational identification with their school report a more positive perception of health three months later. On the other hand, when we compare these school teachers whose organizational their membership is important for their self-definition with those who had lower levels of organizational identification, we notice that they tend to frame the situations they live in the school in a positive way. Our results suggest that the positive framing explains the reason why organizational identification is associated with the perceived health of the school teachers. These results constitute a driving factor for the conception of prevention health programs in the organizational context, stressing the need of a greater involvement and cooperation by the scholar leaderships in the conception of strategies that consider and promote organizational identification as well the implementation of positive framing tactics for the school teachers
