This work is presented in order to discuss school health in Brazil, the construction of the School Health Program, its historical context and aspects related to intersectoral actions between education and health. It is based on exploratory research in different types of works, in order to constitute a scientifically relevant study and theoretical reflections and bring up current discussions on the topic addressed. The historicity of school health in the world is perceived and stratified until reaching the Brazilian context, in line with advances in global studies in public health, as well as the issuance of specific ordinances and interministerial documents involving the Unified Health System, the attention primary care and health promotion. The discussion about intersectoriality and its perspectives as a way of management and its impacts on society and on the health of the student is promoted. Some forms and examples of prevention, health education and health promotion actions are also exposed in conjunction with the understanding of the social determinants of health. It is concluded that, despite the unstable historical path, the health of the student has become one of the aspects of health promotion policies of great importance for the Brazilian nation and that it still needs organized and well-managed actions to carry out a satisfactory intersectoral dynamic. Objective: To describe the life skills of the apprentices of the Sena according to the sex, in the city of Cucuta -Colombia. Methodology: The study was developed from the positivist perspective and quantitative approach, the scope of the descriptive study of comparative level, non-experimental design. The sample was simple random composed by 350 young people between women and men, who met the criteria of age 18-25 years, being enrolled in a technical and technological plan in the institution of training for work in the semester 2018B. The data collection was developed through the life skills test. Results and Discussion: Taking into account the findings of performance in life skills, both in men and women enrolled in work education in technical and technologists programs, similar performance in interpersonal relationship skills is perceived, however, some studies show differences in performance especially in specific skills such as assertiveness and self-confidence, being higher in men Conclusions: It is pertinent to apply to life training programs for youth, life skills strategies to strengthen these skills at a higher level. 4. La Enfermería escolar: contenidos y percepciones sobre su pertinencia en las escuelas inclusivas.

- Abstract
Introduction: The School Nursing service has existed in many countries around the world for decades. In Spain, the presence of Nursing in schools is isolated and not uniformly regulated. The promotion of health and Health Education plays a key role in students' current health. Objective: To determine experts' degree of consensus on public and child and youth health in terms of aspects related to School Nursing, with the aim of establishing the priority contents that should be developed in the care giving function and in Health Education. Materials and methods: A two-round prospective study with a qualitative approach (the Delphi method), based on a sample of 17 experts. An online baseline questionnaire was prepared, asking for opinions and proposals on School Nursing. The second round included the response percentages and proposals subject to prioritization by means of expert assessment and consensus. Results: Most endorse some type of physical presence of nurses in schools, which would contribute to improving educational inclusion and attention to diversity. Its role in the promotion of health and prevention, early identification of diseases, and attention to mental health is pointed out. Conclusions: The school environment should be taken into account as a new and differentiated operating environment for Nursing. Nursing staff becomes a necessary innovation agent in school health, looking after the entire educational community (students, teachers and family). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: Identify the perceptions of parents about the activities of the extension project realized by the health professional in the school context. Methodology: This is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach realized with 15 parents and / or tutors in a municipal school in Belém, Pará, Brazil. This research originated from the extension project "Ludicity as a tool for the health promotion children and adolescents in school space", which occurred from January 2014 until February 2017 with the support of the Pro-Rectory of Extension/ UFPA. Results: The categories found were: the need and importance of extension project in the community; listing the themes for health education activities; recognizing the social vulnerability in which they live. Conclusions: It was possible to affirm that the project of university extension in health within the school environment is an effective practice to teach and to divulge good practices for health promotion. Introduction: Enteroparasitosis has been causing serious problems of public health globally, especially in developing countries. Even with the general population reportedly having knowledge about intestinal parasites, studies indicate that they do not know how to identify the verminoses. Objective: To elaborate, implement, and evaluate an educational program on intestinal parasites in a public school in Ribeirão Preto - SP. Materials and Methods: Quase-experimental, non-randomized study conducted with 56 students from the first to the fourth grades of elementary education. In order to evaluate the students' knowledge before and after the educational intervention, a semi-structured questionnaire was applied (pre- and post-test). Results: Changes were evidenced in the students' responses to hygiene habits, especially in questions about how worms feed (p = 0.008); or what not to do to avoid contamination with worms (p = 0.05); what is the form of the worms when ingested (p = 0.001); which organs the worms enter (p = 0.001). Thus, it was evident that this type of educational activity was efficient to help in the learning by elementary school students. Discussion: After the educational activity, growth was noted in the correct answers for most of the questions, however, difficulties persisted in understanding about the symptoms, the cycle, and which organisms are worms. This research was aimed to know how health education is developed in two public elementary schools in Pelotas/RS/Brazil. Also, it is a qualitative study, which was carried out with eight participants, from which two were education coordinators and six teachers. Data was collected in August 2014 through semistructured interviews and documental analysis of the political-pedagogical projects and the schools' plan of studies. These were analyzed according to Minayo's proposal. It was possible to find that teachers from different subjects have been developing punctual activities in health education. In addition, it is important to highlight the necessity to train these teachers about the theme and the importance of effective articulations among health services and educational institutions to strengthen the education activities on educational health. - Abstract
Objective. To describe the interests, preferred topics and learning in public health issues emerging from Chilean students with their participation in a science education experience. Materials and methods. A qualitative exploratory study was conducted in 29 school research groups through the project Salud Con-Ciencia en tu Barrio, based on a content analysis of texts and narratives of students. Results. Students prioritize the situation of abandoned animals, waste management, security and urban infrastructure, mainly. They view the role of social actors, the positive/negative impacts on the community, valuing the knowledge gained through observation neighborhoods and interaction with neighbors. Conclusions. Scientific inquiry school in the neighborhood context provides teaching strategies for the promotion of local health, develops basic notions of community health and motivation in students linked to the socio-environmental reality of their neighborhoods. Aim: to describe the experience of intersectoral action in primary care with nursing students. Method: experience report, from the development of activities at school, with the participation of 153 students, in March 2016. Results: the students were stimulated to develop actions to control and prevent the dissemination of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, by means of intersectoral thinking among institutions located in the same community, enlightened by the School Health Program. Final considerations: the development of conjoined strategies and alignments of actions in intersectoral organization promotes convergent interventions for community improvements. Accordingly, the intertwined work entails growth in health, society and politics, with preventive intent promotion of health in an inclusive way, discussed by several institutional actors. Health education is considered a very important means to expand the knowledge and practices related to healthy behaviors of individuals. Thus, the study aims aracterizar scientific productions and describe the work of nurses in health education practices in school. It is an integrative literature in LILACS and BDEnf bases. Through the inclusion criteria was selected 20 articles who responded to the question: how the nurse acts in health education practices in the school context? The results emerged three categories for analysis: "Health education and the issue of public health at school", "Nursing and health education at school 'and' Actions taken in the school environment." From 2010 there was a significant increase in publications, predominantly studies with a qualitative approach. However, he realized the complexity involved in health education practices in the school environment and the existing weakness in scientific publications regarding the inclusion of nurses at school. Alcohol consumption is considered a global problem, principally affecting adolescents. In this context, the aims of this study were to identify the pedagogical strategies developed by elementary school teachers in the approach to alcohol with adolescents; To analyze the attitudes, beliefs, values and practices of the elementary school teachers in relation to alcohol; To discuss the repercussions of the attitudes, beliefs, values and practices of the teachers about alcohol in the dialogue with the students and in the implementation of the strategies referred to above. This was a qualitative study performed with 26 teachers of a Rio de Janeiro public school. The data were analyzed through thematic content analysis and grouped into 5 categories. It was concluded that social imaginary and attitudinal construction of the teachers directly interferes with the personal and professional practice and has repercussions in the quotidian life of the students. It was noted that the focus should not just be on the students, but on the relationship of the teachers with their pedagogic strategies.El consumo de alcohol es considerado un problema mundial, afectando principalmente a los adolescentes. En este contexto, se adoptaron como objetivos: identificar las estrategias pedagógicas desarrolladas por los profesores de la enseñanza fundamental en el abordaje sobre el alcohol junto a los adolescentes; analizar las actitudes, creencias, valores y prácticas de los profesores de la enseñanza fundamental en relación al alcohol; y, discutir las repercusiones de las actitudes, creencias, valores y prácticas de los profesores sobre alcohol en la interlocución con los alumnos y en la implementación de las estrategias seleccionadas. Se trata de estudio cualitativo realizado con 26 profesores de una escuela municipal de Rio de Janeiro. Los datos fueron tratados a través del análisis de contenido temático y agrupados en 5 categorías. Se concluye que la construcción socio-imaginaria y la actitud de los docentes interfieren directamente en la práctica personal y profesional repercutiendo en lo cotidiano de los alumnos. Se destaca que el enfoque no deben ser apenas los estudiantes, se debe también considerar la relación de los profesores con sus estrategias pedagógicas.O consumo de álcool é considerado problema mundial, afetando principalmente os adolescentes. Nesse contexto, adotaram-se como objetivos identificar as estratégias pedagógicas desenvolvidas pelos professores do ensino fundamental, na abordagem sobre o álcool junto aos adolescentes, analisar as atitudes, crenças, valores e práticas dos professores do ensino fundamental em relação ao álcool, discutir as repercussões das atitudes, crenças, valores e práticas dos professores sobre álcool, na interlocução com os alunos e na implementação das estratégias suprarreferidas. Trata-se de estudo qualitativo, realizado com 26 professores de uma escola municipal do Rio de Janeiro. Os dados foram tratados por meio da análise de conteúdo temática e agrupados em 5 categorias. Conclui-se que a construção socioimaginária e atitudinal dos docentes interferem diretamente na prática pessoal e profissional, repercutindo no cotidiano dos alunos. Destaca-se que o foco não deve ser apenas os estudantes, mas a relação dos professores com suas estratégias pedagógicas.

This study aims to carry out an integrative review on the importance of the insertion of nurses in public schools. This is an integrative review with a descriptive exploratory approach of a qualitative nature between the period from 2013 to 2017, the information was collected in the Virtual Health Library (VHL) where we selected the Latin American and Caribbean Literature on Health Sciences databases. Health (LILACS) and Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievel System Online (MEDLINE). The study was able to highlight the importance of the insertion of nurses in public schools. The work of this professional aims to promote students' self-care, in this field the nurse is seen as an educator and the school is the ideal setting to carry out health education activities. Nurses work directly in the prevention and promotion of school health for children and adolescents through health education, however, strengthening the link between school and health is essential for maintaining quality of life. Este estudio tiene como objetivo realizar una revisión integradora sobre la importancia de la inserción del enfermero en las escuelas públicas. Se trata de una revisión integradora con enfoque exploratorio descriptivo de carácter cualitativo entre el período de 2013 a 2017, la información fue recolectada en la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud (BVS) donde se seleccionaron las bases de datos de Literatura Latinoamericana y del Caribe en Ciencias de la Salud. LILACS) y Medical Literature Analysis and Retrievel System Online (MEDLINE). El estudio logró resaltar la importancia de la inserción del enfermero en las escuelas públicas. El trabajo de este profesional tiene como objetivo promover el autocuidado de los estudiantes, en este campo el enfermero es visto como un educador y la escuela es el escenario ideal para realizar actividades de educación en salud. El enfermero actúa directamente en la prevención y promoción de la salud escolar de niños y adolescentes a través de la educación en salud, sin embargo, fortalecer el vínculo entre la escuela y la salud es fundamental para el mantenimiento de la calidad de vida. Este estudo tem como objetivo realizar uma revisão integrativa sobre a importância da inserção do enfermeiro nas escolas públicas. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa com abordagem exploratória descritiva de natureza qualitativa entre o período de 2013 a 2017, as informações foram coletadas na Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde (BVS) onde selecionamos as bases de dados Literatura Latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde. Introducción: la figura de la enfermera escolar existe desde hace años, pero en España no hay una regulación oficial a nivel nacional. Este profesional tiene diferentes funciones asistenciales, docentes, investigadoras y gestoras, que pueden favorecer a la comunidad educativa. Objetivo: conocer la realidad de la EpS en las escuelas españolas y valorar la opinión de profesionales sanitarios, docentes y progenitores sobre la enfermera escolar. Material y métodos: estudio descriptivo transversal, dirigido a toda la población española, en especial dirigida a padres/madres, sanitarios y docentes. Se realizó una encuesta en Google Forms enviada a través de redes sociales. Resultados: se contestaron 297 cuestionarios, siendo 295 válidos. El 83,7% de los participantes tenían hijos, y solo en el 14% de los casos el centro al que iba su hijo contaba con enfermera escolar. El 68,4% confiesa que la presencia de la enfermera escolar ayudaría a la hora de elegir el colegio de su hijo. El 13% de los padres tienen hijos con patologías crónicas. Habiendo requerido asistencia sanitaria en horario escolar el 17,9% de los niños. Solo el 12,3% de los sanitarios considera que la EpS que se realiza en las escuelas es adecuada. Y, por último, el 95,1% de los sanitarios y el 92,2% de los docentes consideran necesaria la figura de la enfermera escolar. Conclusiones: la EpS que se realiza en los centros educativos en España no es la adecuada, y tanto sanitarios como docentes consideran favorable la figura de la enfermera en los colegios.

The school is an important stage in participatory construction health reality, encouraging reflection and development of educational health promotion practices. The objective is to know the approaches that have guided the education of health promotion practices at school. This is an integrative review, to search in the databases LILACS, SCIELO, MEDLINE and PubMed. Guiding question: "What educational aspects have guided research on health education practices in scientific schools published in journals in the health area in the period 2005-2014?" Were included articles published in Portuguese, English and Spanish; in full; which reflect the theme, published and indexed in databases surveyed from 2005 to 2014. We selected 15 articles and analyzed in two categories: The training of teachers and the impact on the practice of school health; and Educational aspects present in the practice of school health. The practice of school health, still needs improvement in the actions of educators in the school health program. One can understand the need for new interventions appropriate to the reality of the students, considering socioeconomic and cultural aspects, environmental influences, behavioral and personal characteristics that are aimed at improving the quality of life and health of the school population. Objective. To analyze the School Health Program (SHP) through the perceptions of managers and health professionals. Materials and methods. This was a descriptive, crosssectional, and qualitative study that conducted interviews with 21 individuals using the lexical analysis of Bardin's speech and processed the data through the Alceste software. Results. In the interviewees' perception, verification of blood pressure, visual acuity, weight, height, body mass index, oral health, preventive actions and educational lectures are recommended in the program's guidelines. The schools do not have available and adequate space for the staff to perform the work. The predominant exchange occurs between the health and education secretaries. The actions that provided opportunities to students were primarily promotion, prevention, and health education; funding is the responsibility of the Ministry of Health and Municipal Secretary of Health. Conclusions. The structures, exchanges, and available resources were insufficient for the development of the program. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This study aims to know the meanings attributed by students to dialogue about medicinal plants in health care. It is a qualitative research with 65 students of two schools in the city of Pelotas/RS, from September 2011 to August 2012. The analyzed data was produced after 18 workshops from essays written by students and focus groups. The meetings allowed us to stimulate in the students values directed to the recognition of the family knowledge and the development of critical thinking about the safe use of medicinal plants, awakening them new visions of the world and providing a reflexion on the care practices. The use of Geertz and Freire referential in the workshops allowed dialogue with the culture of the students and discuss situations of life, becoming in perspective for educational practice nurses. Introduction: The school environment is a multidisciplinary and multidisciplinary space, in which all individuals contribute to the construction of knowledge and knowledge, being a favorable place to work on actions that promote health and prevent diseases and injuries. Methodology: This is an experience report of an activity developed in 2019, with teenagers aged 14 years old, entering the first year of high school. The action was designed based on the Streets model, which consists of an educational game about hygiene. Some questions were adapted to the reality and problems of the school. The action planning used the Problematization Theory methodology, based on the tools of popular education and the exchange of knowledge, developed by Paulo Freire. Experience report and discussion: The idealization of the intervention arose from the need to guide students who had just arrived at high school on good hygiene habits. Teachers complained about the precarious hygiene with which students went to school. The activity took place in the form of a scavenger hunt, where the class was divided into two teams and the conductors presented a series of questions about hygiene, which dealt with oral hygiene, hygiene with shoes, school uniforms, armpits, and even with the genital region. Final Considerations: The intervention was designed to strengthen knowledge about hygiene among students, with commitment and social responsibility, since the encouragement of self-care must be linked to the autonomy and protagonism of the subjects. Introducción: El entorno escolar es un espacio multidisciplinario y multidisciplinario, en el que todas las personas contribuyen a la construcción del conocimiento y el conocimiento, siendo un lugar propicio para trabajar en acciones que promuevan la salud y prevengan enfermedades y lesiones. Metodología: Se trata de un relato de experiencia de una actividad desarrollada en 2019, con adolescentes de 14 años, ingresando al primer año de secundaria. La acción se diseñó en base al modelo Streets, que consiste en un juego educativo sobre higiene. Algunas preguntas se adaptaron a la realidad y problemas de la escuela. La planificación de la acción utilizó la metodología de la Teoría de la Problematización, basada en las herramientas de la educación popular y el intercambio de conocimientos, desarrollada por Paulo Freire. Informe de experiencia y discusión: La idealización de la intervención surgió de la necesidad de orientar a los estudiantes recién llegados al bachillerato sobre buenos hábitos de higiene. Los profesores se quejaron de la precaria higiene con la que los alumnos iban a la escuela. La actividad se desarrolló en forma de búsqueda del tesoro, donde la clase se dividió en dos equipos y los conductores presentaron una serie de preguntas sobre higiene, las cuales versaron sobre higiene bucal, higiene con zapatos, uniformes escolares, axilas, e incluso con el región genital. Consideraciones finales: La intervención se diseñó para fortalecer los conocimientos sobre higiene entre los estudiantes, con compromiso y responsabilidad social, ya que el fomento del autocuidado debe estar ligado a la autonomía y protagonismo de los sujetos. Introdução: O ambiente escolar é um espaço pluridisciplinar e multidisciplinar, em que todos indivíduos corroboram para construção do conhecimento e saberes, sendo um local propício para se trabalhar ações que promoção a saúde e prevenção de doenças e agravos. Metodologia: Trata-se de um relato de experiência de uma atividade desenvolvida em 2019, com adolescentes na faixa etária de 14 anos, ingressantes no primeiro ano do ensino médio. A ação foi elaborada baseando-se no modelo de Ruas que consiste em um jogo educativo sobre higiene. Algumas questões foram adaptadas a realidade e à problemática da escola. O planejamento da ação, foi utilizada a metodologia da Teoria da Problematização, pautados nas ferramentas da educação popular e a troca de saberes, desenvolvidos por Paulo Freire. Relato de experiência e discussão: A idealização da intervenção surgiu pela necessidade de orientar alunos recém chegados ao ensino médio sobre bons hábitos de higiene. Professores queixavam-se da precariedade higiênica com que os discentes iam para a escola. A atividade ocorreu na forma de gincana, onde a turma foi dividida em duas equipes e as condutoras apresentaram uma série de perguntas sobre higiene, que tratavam sobre higiene bucal, higiene com os sapatos, com o fardamento escolar, com as axilas, e até mesmo com a região genital. Considerações Finais: A elaboração da intervenção teve o intuito de fortalecer o conhecimento sobre higiene entre os discentes, com compromisso e responsabilidade social, uma vez que o incentivo do autocuidado deve estar atrelado a autonomia e protagonismo dos sujeitos.

Resumen En España, la Educación para la Salud se encuentra integrada en el currículo de Educación Infantil, pero los docentes no llegan a desarrollarla de manera efectiva. Pretendemos constatar la opinión del alumnado del Grado de Educación Infantil de las universidades de Andalucía sobre su formación e importancia de esta materia. La investigación se ha realizado sobre una población de 2178 estudiantes, utilizando como instrumento principal el cuestionario. Para su validación medimos su consistencia interna con el coeficiente alfa de Cronbach y el análisis factorial exploratorio. El alumnado estima muy necesaria la formación en Educación para la Salud infantil (87,8%), calificando como deficitaria la recibida en los planes de estudio oficiales. Las materias ofertadas se enfocan en su mayoría a la promoción de hábitos de vida saludables (61,5%) y al ámbito de la prevención (38,5%). En cambio, estiman de gran importancia una formación en primeros auxilios. Proponemos se implante con carácter obligatorio una completa y adecuada Educación para la Salud en la formación del profesorado.

Objective: to identify in the literature which health education interventions in first aid are used in the school setting. Method: This is a descriptive study, as an integrated review of the literature, with a search performed in the LILACS, BDENF, MEDLINE and PubMed platforms, selecting articles published between 2009 and 2019, in Portuguese, English and Spanish, available for free and complete access, which characterized original intervention studies in schools with the theme of first aid. Result: We found 1937 articles which, after analyzing the inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulted in 15 articles in the final sample. The articles were divided into two discussion categories: first aid education actions for teachers and employees and first aid education actions for students. Conclusion: Collaborators, teachers and students are not prepared to provide first aid in schools, and that teaching first aid, using different methodologies, significantly improves people's knowledge and skills in this context. These studies justify the need to promote health education in schools about first aid. Objetivo: identificar en la literatura qué intervenciones de educación para la salud en primeros auxilios se utilizan en el ámbito escolar. Método: Se trata de un estudio descriptivo, a modo de revisión integradora de la literatura, con una búsqueda realizada en las plataformas LILACS, BDENF, MEDLINE y PubMed, seleccionando artículos publicados entre 2009 y 2019, en portugués, inglés y español, disponibles para acceso gratuito y completo, que caracterizó originales estudios de intervención en escuelas con el tema de primeros auxilios. Resultado: Se encontraron 1937 artículos que, tras analizar los criterios de inclusión y exclusión, dieron como resultado 15 artículos en la muestra final. Los artículos se dividieron en dos categorías de discusión: acciones de educación en primeros auxilios para docentes y empleados y acciones de educación en primeros auxilios para estudiantes. Conclusión: Colaboradores, docentes y estudiantes no están preparados para brindar primeros auxilios en las escuelas, y que la enseñanza de primeros auxilios, utilizando diferentes metodologías, mejora significativamente los conocimientos y habilidades de las personas en este contexto. RESUMEN: Los profesionales de enfermería escolar son la clave para contribuir en la salud de la población de en edad escolar fomentando el desarrollo de intervenciones de promoción y prevención de la salud. Esta figura posee más de un siglo de historia, puesto que se encuentra implantada, institucionalizada y consolidada en varios países de la Unión Europea como Francia, Suiza, Alemania, Escocia. De las competencias que desempeña, ha demostrado la efectividad de las funciones, destacado la función asistencial y educación para la salud. En España, esta figura existe hace más de 30 años, pero aún perdura un gran debate sobre la necesidad de la implementación de los profesionales de enfermería en los centros educativos. Actualmente, solo se encuentra establecida en algunas Comunidades Autónomas. En la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria, la enfermería escolar no se encuentra implantada, pero se ha llevado a cabo durante cuatro años un proyecto pionero en centros educativos donde se han obtenido resultados positivos. El objetivo del presente trabajo es describir la importancia del papel de los profesionales de enfermería por medio de la promoción y prevención de la salud en el ámbito escolar. ABSTRACT: Professional school nurses are the key to contribute to the school-age population’s heath, the development of promotion and prevention health interventions encouraging This figure has more than a century of history, as it is instituted, institutionalized and consolidated in several European Union countries such as France, Switzerland, Germany, Scotland. From all it competencies, it has demonstrated the effectivity of its functions, highlighting the assitence programs and health education. In Spain, this figure has existed for more than 30 years. Nervertheless, there is a great debate about the requirement of the implementation of nurses in schools. Nowadays, it is just stablished in some Autonomous Communities. In the Autonomous Community of Cantabria, the school nursing is not implanted, but a pioneer project has been carried out for four years in schools, where positive results have been accomplished. Objective. To describe the process of capacity building of an elementary school in Mexico City to promote healthy diet, physical activity and obesity preventive measures, within the Health Promoting School (HPS) initiative, underpinned by a human functioning approach. Materials and methods. The project of HPS had a methodological design of participatory action research, which was adapted and integrated to a participatory method of planning-action-evaluation with a model of collaborative and group learning; thus narrative was defined as a strategy. Results. The participation of children in the process contributed to the development of a set of capabilities related to school performance, socialization, coexistence, diet, physical activity and others related to health in general. Conclusions. The HPS enhances the development of individual and collective capacities of school-aged children that allows them to achieve favorable performances for their health, including diet and physical activity. Objective. The objective of the present study was to find out if there are differences in terms of sex, age, or country of origin for the components of health-related quality of life (HRQL) in samples of adolescents from three cities-in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile, respectively-using data collected through an internationally recognized and validated survey questionnaire, KIDSCREEN-52. Methods. The KIDSCREEN-52 questionnaire was administered to 1 357 adolescents between 12 and 17 years of age (48.6% of them male) in selected samples in the three countries. Univariate analysis of variation (ANCOVA) was used. Not only sex and age differences, but also differences for each component of HRQL, were found between the three country groups. Results. The data showed significant differences between the three countries for each of the specific components of HRQL. Males scored significantly higher than females in the following components: Physical Well-being (P < 0.001), Psychological Well-being (P = 0.019), Moods and Emotions (P < 0.001), Self-perception (P = 0.001), Autonomy (P < 0.001), and Parent Relations and Home Life (P = 0.008). Furthermore, the average scores for Physical Well-being (P = 0.001), Psychological Well-being (P = 0.001), Self-Perception (P = 0.038), Autonomy (P = 0.001), Parent Relations and Home Life (P = 0.001), School Environment (P = 0.001), and Financial Resources (P = 0.022) showed a significantly declining trend with each advancing year, while average scores for the component Social Acceptance (Bullying) increased significantly with age (P < 0.001). Conclusions. The evidence suggests that interventions in disease prevention and health promotion should be developed for specific target groups, using appropriate actions depending on the sex and age of the adolescents. The Environmental School Program (PEA, for its Spanish acronym), a dengue control initiative focused on primary schools that took place during 2005-2010 in several cities in Honduras, is described. The environmental health program was designed to increase knowledge and develop skills in the identification and control of Aedes aegypti breeding sites, as well as in water and solid waste management. The results, as measured by behavioral change and reduced larval indices, were satisfactory in the majority of the participating schools. The initiative involved not only children, but also their parents and teachers. In addition to reducing larval indices, PEA was successful in promoting community participation in environmental issues, particularly Aedes control. The inclusion of this educational content in the primary school curriculum in Honduras remains pending. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

A descriptive study on the impact of an educational module in a school health program was developed to find out how young girls and teenagers respond to emergencies at school. Conducted between 2007 and 2008 in the Suba District of Bogota, the study featured a group of 120 students between the ages of 6 and 18. The participants in the sample were from income brackets zero, one and two. Using a method involving recreation, education and experiences, the know-how imparted to this population was evaluated, and changes in individual and group lifestyles and habits were observed. Ninety-five percent (95%) of the girls endorsed the health information on response to school emergencies, 100% took part in constructing the plan and worked in the practice sessions, all of which creates an awareness of the importance of the school health program with the development of plans of this type. Introducción:La Enfermería escolar existe en diversos países del mundo desde hace décadas. En España la presencia de Enfermería en los centros es aislada y no está regulada de manera uniforme. La promoción de la salud y Educación para la Salud juegan un papel clave enla salud actual de los escolares.Objetivo:Determinar el grado de consenso de expertos en salud pública e infantojuvenil sobre aspectos relacionados con la Enfermería escolar para establecer los contenidos que se deben desarrollar en la función asistencial y en Educación para la Salud. Materiales y métodos:Estudio prospectivo con enfoque cualitativo (técnica Delphi) en dos rondas con una muestra de 17 expertos. Se elaboró un cuestionario basal online pidiendo opiniones y propuestas sobre la Enfermería escolar. En la segunda ronda se incluyeron los porcentajes de respuesta y propuestas que se sometieron a priorización mediante valoración y consenso de los expertos. Resultados: La mayoría refrendan algún tipo de presencia física de enfermeras en los centros escolares, que contribuiría a mejorar la inclusión educativa y la atención a la diversidad. Se resalta su papel en materia de promoción de la salud y prevención, identificación precoz de enfermedades y atención a la salud mental.Conclusiones: Es preciso tener en cuenta el ámbito escolar como un nuevo y diferenciado entorno de actuación para Enfermería. El personal de Enfermería se convierte en un necesario agente de innovación en salud escolar que cuida de toda la comunidad educativa (escolares, profesorado y familia). ABSTRACT: Introduction:The School Nursing service has existed in many countries around the world for decades. In Spain, the presence of Nursing in schools is isolated and not uniformly regulated. The promotion of health and Health Education plays a key role in students’ currenthealth.Objective:To determine experts’ degree of consensus on public and child and youth health in terms of aspects related to School Nursing, with the aim of establishing the priority contents that should be developed in the care giving function and inHealth Education. Materials and methods:A two-round prospective study with a qualitative approach (the Delphi method), based on a sample of 17 experts. An online baseline questionnaire was prepared, asking for opinions and proposals on School Nursing. The second round included the response percentages and proposals subject to prioritization by means of expert assessment and consensus. Results: Most endorse some type of physical presence of nurses in schools, which would contribute to improving educational inclusion and attention to diversity. Its role in the promotion of health and prevention, early identification of diseases, and attention to mental health is pointed out.Conclusions: The school environment should be taken into account as a new and differentiated operating environment for Nursing. Nursing staff becomes a necessary innovation agent in school health, looking after the entire educational community (students, teachers and family).

Objetivo: Describir las habilidades para la vida en los aprendices del Sena según el sexo, en la ciudad de Cúcuta - Colombia. Metodología: El estudio se desarrolló desde la perspectiva positivista y enfoque cuantitativo, el alcance del estudio descriptivo de nivel comparativo, diseño no experimental. La muestra fue aleatoria simple compuesta por 350 jóvenes entre mujeres y hombre, que cumplieran los criterios de edad 18-25 años, estar matriculado en un plan técnico y tecnológico en la institución de formación para el trabajo el semestre 2018B. La recolección de datos se desarrolló por medio del test de habilidades para la vida1. Resultados y Discusión: Teniendo en cuenta los hallazgos de desempeño en las habilidades para la vida, tanto en hombre como mujeres escolarizadas en educación para el trabajo en programas técnicos y tecnólogos, se percibe similar desempeño en las habilidades de relaciones interpersonales, no obstante, algunos estudios evidencian diferencias de desempeño en especial en habilidades específicas como asertividad y confianza en sí mismo, siendo más alta en los hombres2. Conclusiones: es pertinente aplicar a los programas de capacitación laboral para jóvenes, estrategias de habilidades para la vida para afianzar dichas habilidades a nivel superior. Objective: To describe the life skills of the apprentices of the Sena according to the sex, in the city of Cucuta -Colombia. Methodology: The study was developed from the positivist perspective and quantitative approach, the scope of the descriptive study of comparative level, non-experimental design. The sample was simple random composed by 350 young people between women and men, who met the criteria of age 18-25 years, being enrolled in a technical and technological plan in the institution of training for work in the semester 2018B. The data collection was developed through the life skills test1. Results and Discussion: Taking into account the findings of performance in life skills, both in men and women enrolled in work education in technical and technologists programs, similar performance in interpersonal relationship skills is perceived, however, some studies show differences in performance especially in specific skills such as assertiveness and self-confidence, being higher in men2. Conclusions: It is pertinent to apply to life training programs for youth, life skills strategies to strengthen these skills at a higher level.

CONSIDERACIONES FINALES El estudio contribuye al sustento conceptual de las competencias de la enfermera escolar para la acción intersectorial salud-educación y el establecimiento de políticas de promoción de salud de los escolares dentro las instituciones educativas. CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS O estudo contribui ao marco conceitual das competências da enfermeira escolar para a ação inter setorial em saúde-educação e para o estabelecimento de políticas na promoção da saúde dos escolares no interior das instituições educativas. Resumo OBJETIVO Descrever ação de educação em saúde sobre alimentação saudável utilizando como estratégia o webquest e o blog com estudantes do ensino fundamental de uma escola pública. MÉTODO Relato da atividade de educação em saúde realizada em 2014 com quatorze estudantes do 8º ano de escola pública. O “Blog da Alimentação Saudável” foi desenvolvido pelos estudantes utilizando a metodologia da webquest orientados pela enfermeira durante quatro períodos da disciplina de ciências. RESULTADOS Em três grupos de trabalho os estudantes realizaram o webquest disponibilizado em site com as etapas introdução, tarefa, processos e recursos. O blog foi elaborado em site gratuito em resposta às questões do webquest. A avaliação dos estudantes destacou os aspectos positivos, as dificuldades e as recomendações para futuras atividades. CONCLUSÃO Essa tecnologia torna a busca pelo conhecimento participativa e ativa, além de ser um espaço de integração dos profissionais da saúde no ambiente escolar. Resumen OBJETIVO Describir la acción de educación en salud en la alimentación saludable mediante una estrategia de búsqueda en la red y el blog con los estudiantes de primaria en una escuela pública. MÉTODO Actividades de educación en salud realizado en 2014 con catorce estudiantes de la escuela pública de 8º grado. La "Alimentación saludable Blog" fue desarrollado por los estudiantes utilizando la metodología de la webquest guiada por la enfermera durante cuatro períodos de la disciplina de la ciencia. RESULTADOS En los tres grupos de trabajo que los estudiantes llevan a cabo la búsqueda en la red disponible en el sitio con los pasos de introducción, tareas, procesos y recursos. El blog se preparó de sitio web gratuito en respuesta a preguntas webquest. La evaluación de los estudiantes destacó los aspectos positivos, dificultades y recomendaciones para las actividades futuras. CONCLUSIÓN Esta tecnología hace que la búsqueda del conocimiento participativa y activa, además de ser uno de los espacios de integración profesionales de la salud en el entorno escolar. Abstract OBJECTIVE To describe health education strategy on healthy eating using WebQuest and blog with elementary school students from a public school. METHOD To report the health education activity carried out in 2014 with fourteen students from the 8th year of public school. The "Healthy Food Blog" was developed by the students using the WebQuest methodology guided by the nurse during four periods of the science discipline. RESULTS In three work groups, the students performed the WebQuest made available on the website with the introduction, task, process and resource stages. The blog was written in a free website in response to WebQuest questions. The students' evaluation highlighted the positives, difficulties and recommendations for future activities. CONCLUSION This technology makes the search for knowledge participatory and active, besides being a space for integration of health professionals in the school environment.

Treball Final de Grau en Infermeria. Codi: IN1138. Curs acadèmic: 2017/2018 ntroduction: The school is the ideal place to develop health education activities. In Spain this task falls on teachers who may not be prepared for it, however, in other countries there is the figure of the school nurse who performs interventions both prevention and health promotion and emergency actions. Objective: To make visible the importance of school nursing as well as to implement health education curricula in Spanish schools. Materials and method: An integ rative review of descriptive character was carried out, using keywords selected in Health Sciences Descriptors and in Medical Subject Heading. For the search, the Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Preevid, Cuiden and Cuidatge databases were used, applying time and language filters. Results: After carrying out the inclusion and exclusion methodology, a total of 22 articles were selected that fulfill the necessary selection criteria. The publication date of the studies includes between 2010 and 2018, and the languages in which they are writt en are Spanish and English. Conclusions: Nursing school is of great benefit to the educational system since it manages to effectively incorporate health education in schools and improve prevention and action systems against health problems, thereby reducing long - term health costs. Introducción : La escuela es el lugar idóneo para elaborar actividades de educación para la salud. En España esta tarea recae en los profesores que podrían no estar preparados para ello, sin embargo, en otros países existe la figura de la enfermera escolar que realiza intervenciones tanto de prevención y promoción de la salud como actuaciones de urgencia. Objetivo: Visibilizar la importancia de la enfermería escolar e implementar currículos de educación para la salud en los colegios españoles. Material y método: Se re alizó una revisión integradora de carácter descriptivo, utilizando palabras clave seleccionadas en Descriptores en Ciencias de la Salud y en Medical Subject Heading. Para la búsqueda se utilizaron las bases de datos Biblioteca Cochrane, Pubmed, Preevid, Cu iden y Cuidatge, aplica ndo filtros de tiempo e idioma. Resultados: Después de realizar la metodología de inclusión y exclusión, se seleccionaron un total de 22 artículos que cumplían los criterios de selección necesarios. La fecha de publicación de los est udios comprende entre el año 2010 y el 2018, y los idiomas en que están escritos son el Español y el Inglés. Conclusiones: La enfermería escolar es de gran beneficio para el sistema educativo ya que consigue incorporar de forma eficaz la educación para la salud en las escuelas y mejorar los sistemas de prevención y actuación frente a problemas de salud, reduciendo con ello costes sanitarios a largo plazo.

Resumo Introdução As enteroparasitoses vêm ocasionando sérios problemas de saúde pública no mundo, sobretudo nos países em desenvolvimento. Mesmo com a população em geral relatando que tem conhecimento sobre as parasitoses intestinais, estudos apontam que não sabem identificar as verminoses. Objetivo Elaborar, implementar e avaliar um programa educativo sobre parasitoses intestinais em uma escola pública de Ribeirão Preto – SP. Materiais e Métodos Estudo quase experimental, não randomizado realizado com 56 alunos do 1º a 4º ano do ensino fundamental. Para avaliar o conhecimento dos alunos antes e após intervenção educativa, foi aplicado um questionário semiestruturado (Pré e Pós - teste). Resultados Houve mudanças nas respostas dos alunos em relação hábitos de higiene, especialmente nas questões sobre como os vermes se alimentam (p=0,008); o que não fazer para não se contaminar com vermes (p=0,05); qual o formato dos vermes quando é ingerido (p=0,001); quais órgãos os vermes atravessam (p=0,001). Assim, ficou evidente que este tipo de atividade educativa foi eficiente para auxiliar na aprendizagem de alunos do ensino fundamental. Discussão Após a atividade educativa sem notou um crescimento nos acertos para a maioria das questões, contudo ainda houve dificuldades de compreensão sobre os sintomas, o ciclo e quais organismos são vermes. Conclusões Espera-se que este trabalho incentive profissionais da saúde e da educação a incluir práticas educativas sobre saúde no contexto escolar. Abstract Introduction Enteroparasitosis has been causing serious problems of public health globally, especially in developing countries. Even with the general population reportedly having knowledge about intestinal parasites, studies indicate that they do not know how to identify the verminoses. Objective To elaborate, implement, and evaluate an educational program on intestinal parasites in a public school in Ribeirão Preto – SP. Materials and Methods Quase-experimental, non-randomized study conducted with 56 students from the first to the fourth grades of elementary education. In order to evaluate the students' knowledge before and after the educational intervention, a semi-structured questionnaire was applied (pre- and post-test). Results Changes were evidenced in the students' responses to hygiene habits, especially in questions about how worms feed (p = 0.008); or what not to do to avoid contamination with worms (p = 0.05); what is the form of the worms when ingested (p = 0.001); which organs the worms enter (p = 0.001). Thus, it was evident that this type of educational activity was efficient to help in the learning by elementary school students. Discussion After the educational activity, growth was noted in the correct answers for most of the questions, however, difficulties persisted in understanding about the symptoms, the cycle, and which organisms are worms. Conclusions It is hoped that this work will encourage health and education professionals to include health educational practices in the school context. Resumen Introducción Las enteroparasitosis ocasionan serios problemas de salud pública en el mundo, sobre todo en los países en desarrollo. Incluso con la población en general relatando que tienen conocimiento sobre las parasitosis intestinales, estudios apuntan que no saben identificar las helmintiasis. Objetivo Elaborar, implementar y evaluar un programa educativo sobre parasitosis intestinales en una escuela pública de Ribeirão Preto - SP. Materiales y Métodos Estudio cuasi-experimental, no aleatorizado realizado con 56 alumnos de 1º al 4º año de enseñanza primaria. Para evaluar el conocimiento de los alumnos antes y después de la intervención educativa, se aplicó un cuestionario semiestructurado (Pre y Post - prueba). Resultados Hubo cambios en las respuestas de los alumnos en relación a hábitos de higiene, especialmente en las preguntas sobre cómo los helmintos se alimentan (p = 0,008); que no hacer para no contaminarse con helmintos (p = 0.05); cual es la forma de los helmintos cuando son ingeridos (p = 0.001); cuales órganos los helmintos atraviesan (p = 0.001). Así, quedó evidente que este tipo de actividad educativa fue eficiente para auxiliar en el aprendizaje de alumnos de la enseñanza primaria. Discusión Después de la actividad educativa se notó un crecimiento en los aciertos para la mayoría de las preguntas, sin embargo todavía hubo dificultades de comprensión sobre los síntomas, el ciclo y cuáles organismos son helmintos. Conclusiones Se espera que este trabajo incentive a profesionales de la salud y la educación a incluir prácticas educativas sobre salud en el contexto escolar.

[EN], En la actualidad existe un problema social con el alcohol y los jóvenes. Desde la enfermería comunitaria se buscan posibles soluciones; hacer un trabajo colaborativo con los centros educativos es una de ellas. Por eso, este trabajo se basará en la elaboración de un proyecto educativo conjunto, cuyo objetivo es hacer una prevención del consumo prematuro y abusivo del alcohol por parte de alumnos de educación secundaria, y que los jóvenes se conciencien de la necesidad de hacer un uso responsable del alcohol, y aprendan alternativas para poder disfrutar de su tiempo de ocio. Este trabajo se centra en la elaboración de un proyecto dirigido a estudiantes de secundaria, que, por su edad y etapa social, están en contacto directo con el alcohol. Se ha tratado, desde la enfermería comunitaria, de hacer un planteamiento de lo que podría ser una propuesta educativa, que sirviera para informar a los jóvenes de las conductas responsables respecto al alcohol, así como los riesgos que tiene el uso abusivo y sus posibles secuelas. Para desarrollarlo, se ha realizado previamente un estudio sobre las acciones físicas y psicológicas que produce el consumo del alcohol a estas edades. El proyecto se basa en las siguientes actividades: - Pintol, el duende travieso. - Acción, reacción, repercusión: fresa o limón. - Por eso es que he decidido nunca olvidar. - Como un explorador. - El joven aprendiz de ídolo. - La noche es tuya. - Si bebes, no conduzcas. Todas ellas persiguen un fin común, que es cumplir el objetivo general del proyecto. Como metodología para su elaboración, se ha utilizado un aprendizaje por proyectos, para poder hacer un seguimiento de los alumnos durante toda su etapa educativa secundaria. Este tipo de metodología, está siendo utilizada en diferentes etapas educativas y en diferentes ámbitos, viéndose un éxito para la educación y reeducación de los individuos.

RESUMO Objetivo: Comparar os resultados do autoexame ocular realizado com auxílio das versões impressa e virtual de cartilha educativa. Método: Estudo quase-experimental realizado em escola estadual de capital do nordeste brasileiro, com 100 estudantes divididos igualmente em grupo controle e intervenção, mediante pareamento quanto à idade, ao sexo, à escolaridade e à situação econômica. Foram aplicados Testes Qui-quadrado de Pearson e Exato de Fisher, com nível significância de 5%. Resultados: Os resultados do autoexame obtidos pelas cartilhas virtual e impressa foram estatisticamente semelhantes, exceto no item Alterações do reflexo pupilar, no qual a cartilha virtual foi mais eficaz para sua identificação (p=0,049). Conclusão: As versões impressa e virtual da cartilha educativa ocular possuem eficácia semelhante para a realização do autoexame ocular. Resultados: Los resultados del autoexamen obtenidos por las cartillas virtual e impresa fueron estadísticamente semejantes, excepto por el punto Modificaciones del reflejo pupilar, en el que la cartilla virtual fue más eficaz para su identificación (p=0,049). Conclusión: Las versiones impresa y virtual de cartilla educativa ocular tienen efectividad semejante para la realización del autoexamen ocular. ABSTRACT Objective: Comparing the results of the ocular self-examination performed with the aid of printed and virtual versions of an educational booklet. Method: A quasi-experimental study carried out in a state (public) school of a capital in northeast Brazil, with 100 students equally divided into control and intervention groups according to age, gender, schooling and economic status. Pearson's Chi-square test and Fisher's exact test were applied with a significance level of 5%. Results: The results of the self-examination obtained by the virtual and printed booklets were statistically similar, except for the item ‘Alterations of the pupillary reflex’, in which the virtual booklet was more effective for its identification (p=0.049). Conclusion: The printed and virtual versions of the ocular educational booklet have similar efficacy for performing ocular self-examination.

Así, el estudio tiene como objetivo caracterizar las producciones científicas y describir el trabajo de las enfermeras en las prácticas de educación en salud en la escuela. Es una revisión integradora de la literatura en las bases LILACS y BDENF. A través de los criterios de inclusión se seleccionaron 20 artículos que respondieron a la pregunta: ¿cómo la enfermera actúa en las prácticas de educación para la salud en el contexto escolar? Los resultados emergieron tres categorías para el análisis: "Educación para la salud y la cuestión de la salud pública en la escuela", "Enfermería y educación para la salud en la escuela" y "Medidas adoptadas en el ámbito escolar." A partir de 2010 se produjo un aumento significativo de publicaciones, estudios predominantemente con un enfoque cualitativo. Con todo, se percibe la complejidad de las prácticas de educación para la salud en el entorno escolar y la debilidad existente en publicaciones científicas sobre la inclusión de las enfermeras en la escuela. The study aimed to analyze the nursing interventions related to the competencies of health promotion of overweight children and adolescents in the school context, in light of the Galway Consensus through an integrative review. Articles published between 1988 and June, 2013 were found in the databases CINAHL, SCOPUS, MEDLINE/PubMed, Cochrane, LILACS and SciELO. A total of 139 publications were obtained from indexed descriptors. Ten articles were selected after reading. The most evident competencies for health promotion were: catalyzing change, needs assessment and impact assessment. The highlights were activities of health education and partnerships with other health professionals and the families of students. It was found that the skills of health promotion developed by nurses can contribute to the adoption of healthy habits by overweight children and adolescents. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar las intervenciones de enfermería relacionadas con las competencias para la promoción de salud de los niños y adolescentes con exceso de peso, en el contexto escolar, de acuerdo con el Consenso de Galway, a través de una revisión integradora. Se encontraron artículos publicados entre 1988 y junio 2013, en las bases de datos CINAHL, SCOPUS, MEDLINE/PubMed, Cochrane, LILACS y SciELO. A partir de los descriptores indexados, se obtuvieron 139 publicaciones. Después de su revisión, fueron seleccionados 10 artículos. Las competencias para la promoción de salud fueron: catalizar el cambio, evaluación de necesidades y evaluación de impacto. Se destacaron las actividades de educación para la salud y la colaboración con otros profesionales de salud y con las familias de los estudiantes. Así, se constató que las competencias para la promoción de salud desarrollada por los enfermeros pueden contribuir a la adopción de hábitos saludables por los niños y adolescentes con exceso de peso. Estudo com o objetivo de analisar as intervenções de enfermagem relacionadas às competências de promoção da saúde de crianças e adolescentes com excesso de peso no contexto escolar, à luz do Consenso de Galway, por meio de uma revisão integrativa. [EN], La nutrición infantil es uno de los desafíos al que se opone la salud en el mundo. Las elevadas tasas de malnutrición por exceso en el primer mundo, sugieren una especial dedicación por parte de los sanitarios. La falta de una adecuada formación sobre los hábitos saludables, el exceso de información descoordinada y contradictoria, y la insuficiente implicación de los profesionales, son algunos de los desencadenantes de esta situación. La edad escolar, es una etapa del desarrollo del niño en todos los sentidos. Por otra parte el sobrepeso junto con la obesidad, son unos de los factores de alteraciones cardiovasculares y de enfermedades asociadas, y condicionan la salud en el futuro de estos niños. Con la colaboración de los padres y los centros educativos conseguimos una detección precoz de los signos de malnutrición, y por tanto su posterior seguimiento, tratamiento y promoción de estilo de vida saludable. En este trabajo, se propone establecer más comunicación entre familias y centros educativos para hacer frente a este problema.

A escola é um cenário importante na construção participativa de realidade em saúde, favorecendo reflexão e desenvolvimento de práticas educativas de promoção da saúde. Objetiva-se conhecer as abordagens que tem orientado as práticas educativas de promoção da saúde na escola. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa, com busca nas bases de dados LILACS, SCIELO, MEDLINE e PUBMED. Questão norteadora: “Que vertentes educacionais têm orientado as pesquisas sobre as práticas de educação em saúde nas escolas publicadas em periódicos científicos da área de saúde no período de 2005 a 2014?” Foram incluídos artigos publicados em português, inglês e espanhol; na íntegra; que retratassem a temática, publicados e indexados nos bancos de dados no período de 2005 a 2014. Foram selecionados 15 artigos e analisados em duas categorias: A formação dos educadores e a repercussão na prática da saúde escolar; e As vertentes educacionais presentes na prática da saúde escolar. A prática de saúde escolar, ainda necessita de aprimoramento nas ações dos educadores no programa de saúde escolar. Compreende-se a necessidade de novas intervenções adequadas à realidade dos educandos, considerando aspectos socioeconômicos e culturais, influencias ambientais, características comportamentais e pessoais visando melhorias na qualidade de vida e saúde da população escolar. La escuela es una etapa importante en la realidad participativa de construcción de la salud, favoreciendo la reflexión y el desarrollo de las prácticas de promoción de la salud educativos. El objetivo es conocer los criterios que han guiado la educación de las prácticas de promoción de la salud en la escuela. Se trata de una revisión integradora, para buscar en las bases de datos LILACS, SciELO, MEDLINE y PubMed. Pregunta guía: ¿”Qué aspectos educativos han guiado la investigación sobre las prácticas de educación sanitaria en las escuelas científicos publicados en revistas en el área de la salud en el período 2005-2014?”, fueron publicados los artículos incluidos en portugués, inglés y español; en su totalidad; que reflejan el tema, publicados e indexados en bases de datos de la encuesta de 2005 a 2014. Se seleccionaron 15 artículos y se analizó en dos categorías: La formación de los profesores y el impacto en la práctica de la salud en la escuela; y los aspectos educativos presentes en la práctica de la salud en la escuela. La práctica de la salud en la escuela, todavía necesita mejoras en las acciones de los educadores en el programa de salud escolar. Uno puede entender la necesidad de nuevas intervenciones apropiadas a la realidad de los alumnos, teniendo en cuenta los aspectos socioeconómicos y culturales, influencias ambientales, características de comportamiento y personales que tienen por objeto mejorar la calidad de vida y la salud de la población escolar. The school is an important stage in participatory construction health reality, encouraging reflection and development of educational health promotion practices. The objective is to know the approaches that have guided the education of health promotion practices at school. This is an integrative review, to search in the databases LILACS, SCIELO, MEDLINE and PubMed. Guiding question: “What educational aspects have guided research on health education practices in scientific schools published in journals in the health area in the period 2005-2014?” Were included articles published in Portuguese, English and Spanish; in full; which reflect the theme, published and indexed in databases surveyed from 2005 to 2014. We selected 15 articles and analyzed in two categories: The training of teachers and the impact on the practice of school health; and Educational aspects present in the practice of school health. The practice of school health, still needs improvement in the actions of educators in the school health program. One can understand the need for new interventions appropriate to the reality of the students, considering socioeconomic and cultural aspects, environmental influences, behavioral and personal characteristics that are aimed at improving the quality of life and health of the school population.
