Insertion of nanoparticles in ordinary materials to examine the performance of their improved thermal abilities in the fluid flow is the hot topic of the present period of scientific research. In addition, various engineering, physiological, and medical applications, e.g., heat exchangers, hybrid vehicles, war arms, drug deliveries, and different medicines of nanoparticles, are evident. Peristaltic mechanism has a vital role as a material carrier in various engineering and physiological processes. Thus, this attempt is accounted to study the nanoparticles flow via a rotating peristaltic channel in the presence of magnetohydrodynamics and compliant walls aspects. In addition, the effects of slip, Hall, heat generation/absorption, and non-linear thermal radiation are also considered. Furthermore, the flow equations are modeled using the definition of conservation laws. Expression for effective and base quantities of nanoparticles is also mentioned. The flow formulation is reduced by incorporating a low Reynolds number approximation and higher wavelength assumption. The obtained reduced system of equation is handled through a numerical procedure called the shooting algorithm. Then, the obtained solution is used to plot the behavior of quantities of interest against present dimensionless parameters. The obtained result indicates that axial and secondary velocities face negligible resistance for higher wall elastic properties, and thus, velocities enhance where the wall damping property produces maximum resistance to the flow with decay in both velocities. The second-order axial velocity slip parameter disturbs the symmetry of the velocity field. Due to the higher volume fraction of copper nanoparticles, a huge collision between particles is evident, as a response both axial and secondary velocities decay, and temperature enhances because of larger amount of collision. The advancement of nanofluid technology has become an essential tool for investigating thermal conductivity enhancement, which is highly valuable for industrial and engineering applications in many fields including mathematics, physics, engineering, and materials science. This analysis focuses on 3-D boundary-layer flow on nanofluid over a rotating disk by incorporating chemical reaction and thermal radiations effects. One aim of this article is to analyze the energy and mass transport rates for nanofluids. In this study, the Brownian motion and thermophoretic impacts are considered. The governing flow equations are converted to ODE via suitable similarity transformations. The resulting equations were solved via well know technique Keller box method. This analysis revealed that the azimuthal and axial velocities show an inverse pattern against the various values of index factor, n, although the radial velocity has the highest value and decreases significantly. The behavior of the von Karman flow is also recovered for setting the index factor (n = 1). Moreover, it is found that the temperature of nano liquid increases by increasing the Brownian motion and thermophoretic factors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This exploration aims to study the comparison of heat transfer capabilities of two nanofluid oblique, steady stagnation-point flow combinations comprising single-walled carbon/water (SWCNHs/water) and multiwalled carbon nanotube/water (MWCNTs/water) toward a stretching surface influenced by nonlinear thermal radiation employing the Xue model. This envisaged comparison model is inimitable and still scarce in the literature. Relying on the Tiwari-Das nanofluid model, a mathematical framework is constructed. The system of partial differential equations is converted using suitable transformations into an ordinary differential system of three equations, which is evaluated numerically using the bvp4c method. The physical behavior of significant parameters and their graphical representation are thoroughly examined. The results show that the SWCNHs/water nanofluid outperforms the MWCNTs/water nanofluid. It is further witnessed that SWCNH nanoparticle contained nanofluid has considerably greater thermal radiation than MWCNT nanoparticles. This article concerns an examination of thermal attributes generated in non-linearly varying viscosity-dependent viscoelastic fluid flowing over an isothermally inclined riga surface. The mathematical formulation is conceded by obliging conservation laws of momentum and energy in the form of PDE's. Thermal aspects are highlighted in the attendance of radiative heat flux. Similarity variables are capitalized for the transmutation of PDE's into ODE's. Analytical solution of attained differential setup is attained by employing Laplace transform technique. The influence of flow concerning variables on related distributions is divulged in a graphical manner. The variation in quantities of engineering interest like wall shear stress, thermal and mass variation on the surface is also measured. It is found that the accelerating parameter, chemical reaction parameter, positive modified Hartmann number, and radiation values improve skin friction while heat absorption parameter retards friction. This paper introduces the effect of heat absorption (generation) and suction (injection) on magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) boundary-layer flow of Casson nanofluid (CNF) via a non-linear stretching surface with the viscous dissipation in two dimensions. By utilizing the similarity transformations, the leading PDEs are transformed into a set of ODEs with adequate boundary conditions and then resolved numerically by (4-5)th-order Runge-Kutta Fehlberg procedure based on the shooting technique. Numerical computations are carried out by Maple 15 software. With the support of graphs, the impact of dimensionless control parameters on the nanoparticle concentration profiles, the temperature, and the flow velocity are studied. Other parameters of interest, such as the skin friction coefficient, heat, and mass transport at the diverse situation and dependency of various parameters are inspected through tables and graphs. Additionally, it is verified that the numerical computations with the reported earlier studies are in an excellent approval. It is found that the heat and mass transmit rates are enhanced with the increasing values of the power-index and the suction (blowing) parameter, whilst are reduced with the boosting Casson and the heat absorption (generation) parameters. This attempt is devoted to investigating the the effects of non linear mixed convection, electroosmotic, Joule heating, Soret, gyrotactic micro-organisms and slip effects in peristalsis of third grade liquid in a microchannel. The thermal radiation effect on heat transfer is studied through energy equation. The formulation of flow is done via conservation laws. Low Reynolds and large wavelength conditions are used to simplify the third grade fluid flow equations. The flow simplified equations are solved numerically via built-in procedure in Mathematica due to nonlinearity and coupling factor. Further the obtained results are used to study the flow quantities behaviors against important sundry parameters of interest through graphs. The current work has applications in process of micro-fabrication, reservoir technology and chemical industry where a significant role of electro-osmotic and mass exchanges is evident. The results attained in current analysis indicate that velocity field decays due to increasing effects of buoyancy forces (i.e. for larger thermal, mass and bio Grashof numbers). The enhancements in electro osmotic quantity enhance the amount of friction between fluid particles which enhances transfer of heat. The motile micro organism quantity enhances due to larger effects of motile micro organisms parameters. This numerical study aims to interpret the impact of non-linear thermal radiation on magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) Darcy-Forchheimer Casson-Water/Glycerine nanofluid flow due to a rotating disk. Both the single walled, as well as multi walled, Carbon nanotubes (CNT) are invoked. The nanomaterial, thus formulated, is assumed to be more conductive as compared to the simple fluid. The properties of effective carbon nanotubes are specified to tackle the onward governing equations. The boundary layer formulations are considered. The base fluid is assumed to be non-Newtonian. The numerical analysis is carried out by invoking the numerical Runge Kutta 45 (RK45) method based on the shooting technique. The outcomes have been plotted graphically for the three major profiles, namely, the radial velocity profile, the tangential velocity profile, and temperature profile. For skin friction and Nusselt number, the numerical data are plotted graphically. Major outcomes indicate that the enhanced Forchheimer number results in a decline in radial velocity. Higher the porosity parameter, the stronger the resistance offered by the medium to the fluid flow and consequent result is seen as a decline in velocity. The Forchheimer number, permeability parameter, and porosity parameter decrease the tangential velocity field. The convective boundary results in enhancement of temperature facing the disk surface as compared to the ambient part. Skin-friction for larger values of Forchheimer number is found to be increasing. Sufficient literature is provided in the introduction part of the manuscript to justify the novelty of the present work.
