A compound salt of HCOONa and NaCl in the ratio of 1∶3 was preferably selected as the weighting agent in terms of weighting performance and price factors. A composite salt-weighted fracturing fluid system was prepared using a synthetic modified HPG and an organoboron crosslinker. The performance of the fracturing fluid system was evaluated according to the requirements in SY/T 5107—2016 “Performance Evaluation Method of Water-Based Fracturing Fluid”. The density of the compound salt-weighted fracturing fluid system is 1.35 g/cm³,and the residual viscosity is higher than 50 mPa·s when sheared for 120 min at 160 ℃ and 170 s-1.Field application tests show that the system can reduce wellhead pressure by 9~11 MPa, which provides technical support for the development of ultra-deep high-temperature and high-pressure oil and gas reservoirs.
