Abstract

The article reports on the move of U.S. steelmakers to prepare a raft of complaints against foreign steel imports. It states that companies including U.S. Steel Corp., Nucor Corp. and AK Steel Holding Corp. hope extra tariffs will prevent foreign competitors from gaining market share in the steel market which is not protected by the Buy American provisions in the economic stimulus bill.
