The content of this thesis deals with emergency situations and behavior during their occurrence. The main objective was to investigate the awareness of the population of the Karlovy Vary region regarding behavior during emergency situations. This knowledge was verified by a questionnaire survey, which also tested the theoretical knowledge of the population in this field. Based on the results obtained from the questionnaire, a proposal for a possible two-hour seminar was created to supplement the missing knowledge and strengthen the existing one. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of an emergency event and its classification according to the method of occurrence. The issue of civilian protection is also addressed, including the evacuation of civilians, warning of the population, evacuation bags, and improvised means of protection. The reader will also learn what a crisis situation is and how to distinguish between its types. The basic components of the integrated rescue system and their tasks are listed here as well. The dream of becoming a firefighter is not reserved for men. Even women have their dreams, and dreaming of becoming a firefighter one day is not a bad thing. I too have had such a dream since I was little and to know how I can become a firefighter, where I can apply everywhere, what I should prepare for, so I tried to find answers to that in my work. In the theoretical part, the reader will learn basic knowledge about the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. What kind of organizational structure it has and what kind of legislation is central to it. Subsequently, he will read what it means to be a member, how to become one, the rules of the employment relationship regarding maternity and parental leave. We see firefighters in the uniform that everyone wants to wear, but even that has its own rules. Also included are the possibilities of applying and the content of a woman's work at the territorial department and how other countries have it with women in the fire brigade. In the practical part, I carried out research and analysis using interviews with members of the HZS of the South Bohemian Region at the Regional Department of Písek and the Regional Directorate in České Budějovice. I asked all fourteen members, when there were 7 women and 7 men, 13 identical questions. The questions were constructed in such a way that the gender of the interviewee did not matter. The answer to the research question "What role does a woman have in the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic?", "Can she be a valid part?" was discussed in the discussion. The objective of this thesis was met and the research question was answered. A woman has a wide range of employment at the Czech Republic's Fire and Rescue Service and is a valid part of the service. Whether, it will be in the office, in a leadership position or in a field unit.

The main topic of the bachelor's thesis is the floods in 2002 and 2013 in the entire affected area of the Czech Republic and also in the village with extended powers of Vodňany. The activities of the relevant authorities and the population were evaluated, focusing on the extent of the evacuation and the progress of the basic and other components of the integrated rescue system. The theoretical part begins by defining important legislation for this topic, which is a basic pillar here. Furthermore, this section contains a description of the integrated rescue system, flood authorities and individual measures before and during the flood. There is also a simple explanation of the term "evacuation" and the last chapters of the theoretical part include the floods in 2002, 2013 and the flood situation in Europe in 2021, because in each country the intensity of floods, their consequences, course, but also the progress of rescue services and the attitude of the population varies more or less. The scenario is not always the same, and it is important to know how other countries will deal with a living disaster of this magnitude. The practical part focused on a detailed description of the content of the Digital Flood Plan of the town of Vodňany, a breakdown and assessment of the activities of the authorities and the integrated rescue system during the floods in 2002 and 2013 in Vodňany and finding out the knowledge and preparedness of the Vodňany population on the topic of floods. The results of this survey were developed into graphs. Based on the acquired knowledge, it can be stated that there are obvious shortcomings in the knowledge of the citizens of Vodňany on the topic of floods.

The topic of the diploma thesis is Analysis of technical equipment of IRS units. In the theoretical part of the work, readers can learn what an integrated rescue system is, its structure and its main and other components. For individual components, readers can get acquainted with their history, structure, functioning and, last but not least, with the legislative basis. One goal was chosen in the practical part. Analyzing the state of technical equipment at the main IRS units in the South Bohemian Region. A quantitative method of data collection in the form of a questionnaire survey was used to process the research set, where a questionnaire was created for each main component of the IRS separately. Some questions in the questionnaire survey were then enriched with additional information from the statements of representatives of the IRS. The research sample consisted of 90 respondents and 90 completed questionnaires. Thus, 30 completed questionnaires were collected for each IRS component. The output of the diploma thesis is an overview that shows how the SARS-CoV2 pandemic in the period from January 1st 2021 to January 1st 2022 affected the technical and personnel equipment of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, the Czech Police and the Medical Rescue Service in the South Bohemian Region. The work could serve as a realistic view of managing the SARS-CoV2 pandemic in that period through the "eyes" of IRS members in the South Bohemian Region.

The bachelor's thesis addresses the issues of the Police of the Czech Republic, its position within the Integrated Rescue System and its performance in the normal state and subsequently in the event of a state of emergency, which was declared in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic. The work is divided into two parts, the first part is theoretical and the second is practical. The theoretical part of the thesis is divided into several chapters and subchapters, while the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis characterizes the Integrated Rescue System, describes its activities in the event of an emergency and lists and describes its basic components, most of which is devoted to the Police of the Czech Republic. Regarding the Police of the Czech Republic, the theoretical part describes important aspects, such as the characteristics of this component, its composition or the performance of basic tasks. In connection with these tasks, the last part of the theoretical part contains the issue of the declared most important emergencies in the Czech Republic, which lists all the declared emergencies in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic and related measures within the Police of the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the research was carried out using a questionnaire survey, which was intended for members of the Police of the Czech Republic. The aim of the questionnaire was to find out whether the police of the Czech Republic managed the situation that arose in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic and whether this situation affected the performance of the service and the service of the performing police. The questionnaire survey was developed into graphs and pictures and the information obtained was interpreted and described in more detail in the discussion. The questionnaire survey showed that the Police of the Czech Republic, thanks to the police officers who are a solid base of this unit and approached the crisis situation in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic with great respect, managed to face the Covid-19 pandemic, both internally and personnel. to the tense atmosphere that prevailed among the public. Although the police perceived a certain concern, especially the recovery of their loved ones and lacked contact with other colleagues after the regime measures were adopted, they did not feel psychologically affected due to their personal preconditions on the basis of their recruitment and the new situation was handled with complete professionalism.

The bachelor thesis analyzes the knowledge of police officers of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region in the performance of the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in the event of a radiation extraordinary event and analyzes the equipment of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region with protective equipment for a radiation emergency. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis deals with an integrated rescue systém and its basic components, a radiation extraordinary events and their history and classification, a problematics of an ionizing radiation and its effects on a human organism, a radiation protection and a tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in the radiation extraordinary event at Temelín Nuclear Power Plant. The research part of the bachelor thesis is carried out using a questionnaire survey and an interview with the staff of the Crisis Management Department of the Police of the Czech Republic in České Budějovice. Questionnaires were distributed to police officers of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region, from whom quantitative research was conducted. With the help of a questionnaire survey, the unpreparedness of the police officers of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region in the area of performing the tasks of the Police of the Czech Republic in the event of a radiation extraordinary event was found. The results did not reach the success rate, which was set at 70 %. Police officers who have a nuclear power plant in their region should have more knowledge in this area. By studying the professional literature, the External Emergency Plan of the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant, the documentation of the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region and based on the interview, it was found that the amount of protective equipment available in a radiation emergency available to the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region is sufficient due to the number of serving police officers.

The thesis is focused on the prevention of burnout syndrome in the IRS workers. This thesis was prepared in the context of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, which hit the Czech Republic in 2020, and due to the pandemic situation, including extraordinary governmental measures, integrated rescue system workers were exposed to a great psychological, but also physical load. In the theoretical part of this thesis, the integrated rescue system was briefly described, but also the stress that contributes to the development of burnout syndrome in the long term. Subsequently, the theoretical part described the burnout syndrome and its phases. Furthermore, the symptoms of burnout syndrome, risk factors or treatment were presented. An indispensable part,without which this thesis could not be complete, is the section devoted to the prevention of burnout syndrome. The main objective of this thesis was to list the factors that contribute to the development of burnout syndrome including preventive measures that reduce the likelihood of burnout syndrome. The topic of prevention of burnout syndrome was focused only on the personnel of basic units of the IZS. To achieve the stated aim of this thesis, a custom questionnaire was constructed and used in the survey. The practical part of this thesis deals with the prevention of burnout syndrome in the workers of basic units of the IZS. The questionnaire that was constructed contains twenty-four questions, fourteen of which are related to the SARS-Cov-2 pandemic and also intertwined with the prevention of this syndrome. From the analysis of the questionnaire survey, it was found that the prevention of burnout syndrome is neglected among the integrated rescue system workers in the Czech Republic. On the basis of subjective answers of the personnel of basic units of the IZS it was found that they may be more at risk of developing burnout syndrome due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. Since no official diagnostic questionnaire was used, I would have welcomed the involvement of some erudite social psychology personnel on this issue. From the resulting findings included in this thesis, a recommendation for practice has been developed, which includes five practices that, if applied, could improve the current state of the art in the prevention of the syndrome in future integrated rescue workers.

This thesis deals with an emergency incident in which a burn trauma occurred in a large number of people. The theoretical part of the thesis describes both the legal framework of emergencies and especially the recommended procedures of the components of the Integrated Rescue System for dealing with this type of emergency. A large part of the theoretical part of the thesis and the whole practical part is focused on the procedure of the emergency medical service. The document shows how burns are treated from the point of view of emergency medicine, but also from the point of view of disaster medicine. The practical part of the work responds to the Concept of dealing with an emergency with a large number of patients with thermal injuries in the Czech Republic, published by the Ministry of Health in 2020. I focused on how paramedics know it. Does their knowledge affect the length of practice or the level of their acquaintance with the Concept? I found out using questionnaires filled out by 42 rescuers from different regions.

The thesis is focused on supplying during an intervention, especially during a long-lasting intervention, when it is important to replenish liquids and energy for members of the Integrated Rescue System (IRS). The second part of the thesis is focused at the civilian population itself, who should have enough knowledge to pack all the necessary items that should satisfy basic needs during the first days of a possible evacuation, in their evacuation luggage. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part is mainly based on legislation. The issue of long-lasting interventions is primarily determined by Fire Safety legislation. In this part there is also basic information on the evacuation of the population, especially the process of warning, evacuation and the content of the evacuation luggage. The practical part deals with the analysis of completed questionnaire surveys from members of the IRS and the civilian population. Based on the preferences of both groups, the practical part also includes a diet plan from the point of view of a nutritional therapist. In response to the evacuation luggage, there are some advice on what foodstuffs to pack. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the intake of food and liquids among members of the IRS considering the quality of food and liquids. The analysis took place not only during a long-lasting intervention, but also during a normal working day in which such an intervention can take place. Just like the preparedness of the IRS, the preparedness of the civilian population is also important, the goal is to see if they can recognize the warning signal and manage to pack their evacuation luggage properly. The information in the thesis can serve as a tool not only for members of the IRS, but also for the civilian population with regard to the packing of evacuation luggage, especially with regard to the selection of foodstuffs and liquids in evacuation luggage.

The aim of diploma thesis on the topic "Use of assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system" is to evaluate the possibility of using assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system of the South Bohemian region. In my diploma thesis I first focus on the theoretical part, where basic information about the integrated rescue system and the fire brigade is summarized through professional literature, laws, and decrees. I also conducted a search of available professional sources. In the theoretical part, I also listed the most commonly used assistive technologies in the operational and information centres of the integrated rescue system. In the research part, I first focused on a survey of the opinions of the staff of the Operations and Information Centre of the Fire and Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region on the use of assistive technologies through a questionnaire survey. Furthermore, in this part I deal with the analysis of types and subtypes of events for which it would be appropriate or inappropriate to use supporting technologies, namely, to compile an automatic technology designer. I compiled an analysis of statistics of departures and events in 2021, compiled into graphical summaries. From the evaluated answers to the given questions, it is evident that most operational technicians and officers agree with the introduction of assistive technologies. Likewise, the overall analysis shows the benefits for the use of an automatic technology designer. The contribution of this diploma thesis is the use of processed information at the operational and information centre of the Fire and Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region.

In emergencies where a person is in crisis and a component of the integrated system intervenes, the client is provided with crisis intervention. After crisis intervention is provided on site, the client seeks follow-up assistance, which may be provided by non-profit organizations through crisis assistance. The thesis focuses on the analysis of the continuity of crisis assistance and the interconnection of the IZS units with the entities providing follow-up assistance. The first part of the thesis explains the key concepts, which are drawn from the literature, divided into chapters. The second part of the thesis provides a description of the research investigation together with its results. Qualitative research, survey method and semi-structured interview technique were used. The research investigation has identified scope for adjusting the continuity of crisis assistance and the possibility of involving new organisations.

The thesis focuses on logistical and material sources of selected fire rescue service stations in Central Bohemian Region determined to intervene at emergencies and crisis situations For this diploma thesis, 40 fire rescue service stations in Central Bohemian Region were selected according to the categorization and the objectives of this thesis. Timely and effective help in case of an emergency is extremely important for the Czech citizens. Therefore the fire protection of the Czech Republic should be logistically and materially secured in such a way that this risk is minimal or does not arise at all. The first chapter of the theoretical part gives an overview of the integrated rescue system and its coordination. The next chapter explains basic terms of emergency preparedness, and three basic categories of threads. In the last chapter the matters of fire rescue service are thoroughly explained - area coverage, categorization, types, predeterminations for different types of emergency events, types of fire protection stations. The aim of this diploma thesis was to "carry out an analysis of the logistical and material sources of selected fire rescue service stations of the Central Bohemia Region, according to a multi-criteria risk analysis of the region, which is focused on the future solution of emergency events and crisis situations". To achieve the aim of the thesis, quantitative research was chosen. Data was obtained using a questionnaire survey. For the diploma thesis, 40 fire rescue service stations in the Central Bohemian Region were selected to which a questionnaire survey was sent (Appendix A). The questionnaire included 31 questions. The results of the questionnaire survey were evaluated using graphs. The discussion describes the evaluation of the logistical and material sources of selected fire rescue service stations in Central Bohemian Region destined to deal with emergency events and situations of crisis. It provides argumentative opinions. The conclusion of the thesis gives an overall summary, proposals and possibilities of further research, and gives answers to research questions of this thesis. Finally, there is a suggestion of further use of this thesis in the work field and for educational purposes.

The aim of my thesis is to analyze the workload of crematoria in the Czech Republic in a context of increase in the number of deads, in connection with the outbreak of the pandemic. The another related goal, which is addressed in this thesis, is to create a proposal for the procedure for the involvement of the Fire Rescue Service units in the Czech Republic to the redistribution of deceased people within a coordination of the central administrative authorities in the event of a breakdown in working of crematoria in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part of my thesis, the reader is introduced to the established interdependence of legal regulations dealing with a given issue, presentation of subjects operating in a field of integrated rescue system, crisis management authorities, and subjects dealing with an issue of burying the deads. In the research part of my thesis I evaluate the obtained data of a period, specifically the data of the Czech Statistical Office, the Institute of Health Information and Statistics, and the data of statistically monitored events of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. These data were collected during the realization of intervention activities related to the redistribution of the deceased people within the Czech Republic. Based on the results of the regression analysis, my thesis suggests this mentioned model of the involvement of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic in the redistribution of deceased people as a result of the pandemic. According to the processed results, the capacities of two crematoria were overestimated because of faulty management decisions by their operators due to fear of a possible decrease in contracts.

This thesis is focused on mapping and conducting training of members of units destined to fulfill the tasks of population protection. The research questions sought two answers: in the Liberec Region, fire protection units are predestined to solve the tasks of population protection, and if they are members of these units have the professional competence to perform these activities. The thesis is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part is describe the protection of the population and its development in the Czech Republic. It is described below the organization of fire protection in the Czech Republic, their tasks with emphasis on the predestination of fire protection units, the implementation of basic training and gaining professional competence of members of the units of voluntary fire brigades of municipalities according to currently valid legal regulations. The thesis aims to answer questions relating to the level of the the implementation basic and cyclical training is provided and in accordance with the research question asses the level the professional competence of the members of the fire protection units for protection of population and design proficiency enhacement procedures

A short message with Governor´s activation order was delivered to all members of the Panel of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of the South Bohemian Region on 20 March 2020 during the first wave of the COVID-19 epidemic. The activation lasted 2 months until 27 May 2020. The role of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations and their coordination done by the Panel was irreplaceable during the solution of the epidemic. All volunteers and association employees risked their health in favour of the citizens of the South Bohemian Region. They helped the most vulnerable ones of the society and they asked many volunteers from public to take part in the needed help. The diploma thesis focuses on analysis of participation of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations in the South Bohemian Region during the solution of the first wave of the COVID-19 epidemic and on analysis of experience of executives and volunteers of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations during the solution of the crisis situation. A qualitative research in the form of semi-structured conversations with representatives of the South Bohemian Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations was undertaken to answer the research questions. The data gathered by the research and by the inquiry were evaluated using SWOT analysis and so called Fuller´s triangle was designed for comparison. On the basis of evaluation of obtained data we can state that Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations were able to react quickly to the given situation and that the Panel of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of the South Bohemian Region ensured help and masks distribution, disinfection, it ensured public places disinfection, purchases delivery, providing coordination support for field and accompanying activities, South Bohemian Region information line operation, establishing of quarantine places for homeless people and creation of manual for work with volunteers. The executives and volunteers evaluated the first wave of the epidemic as a period of uncertainty, disinformation, and lack of personal protective equipment. The coordinator of the Panel of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of the South Bohemian Region stated that difficult tasks were given by the Region and that they were not prepared for them. The majority of NGO and NPO workers perceive the epidemic experience as basis for changes in the system of functioning of organizations in the future. The findings of the diploma thesis will be used as feedback materials for the Panel of Non-Governmental Non-Profit Organizations of the South Bohemian Region, Crisis Management Department of the South Bohemian Region and Crisis Management Department of the Fire and Rescue Service of the South Bohemian Region.

This work focuses on cooperation between fire protection units and SIT Drones. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the legislation for flying a drone, its characteristics, description and the most common uses. The integrated rescue system, the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and the fire protection units of the Pilsen Region are also described. The aim of the work was to answer the research question as accurately as possible. To answer the question, a survey was conducted, which consisted of personal meetings and a questionnaire survey. The results are shown in the work by tables and graphs. At the end of the work is the evaluation of this cooperation with their own knowledge and comments. The appendices of the bachelor's thesis contain photographs taken from a drone in cooperation with IRS units. The work is accompanied by a DVD with an appendix, which presents the cooperation of fire protection units in the Pilsen region with drones.

Title: Overview of knowledge of children in primary and secondary school about the integrated rescue system. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out what knowledge students in primary and secondary school have about the integrated rescue system. Furthermore, to compare individual answers of students between the two schools. Methods: For this research, an electronic questionnaire was created on the survio.com website. Results: Pupils from both schools have a great overview of the integrated rescue system. The high school students answered flawlessly, with some exceptions. Title: Dog training for the Mountain Rescue Service Objectives: The aim of this work is to compile a comprehensive set of information related to dog training for the Mountain Rescue Service and to describe other circumstances without which the training would not be successful. Methods: The research method and data and information collection methods were used for the sake of this work as well as the methods of analysis and synthesis of information obtained from the issue of rescue cynology and analysis of statistics on the use of dogs at the Mountain Service in the last six years. Results: The training of a dog for area and avalanche searching for mountain services and other factors that lead to the successful inclusion of a rescue dog in services are described in this work. This diploma thesis deals with the readiness of security forces, especially the patrol service of the Police of the Czech Republic of the South Bohemian Region, which is most likely to be the first to find a suspicious object (eg a booby-trapped explosive system) and must solve the situation so as not to cause life and the health of citizens or property. The thesis defines the basic concepts and characteristics of booby-trapped explosive systems and the procedures for the disposal of these systems.

The topic of the diploma thesis "Comparison of the readiness of executive and commanding police officers of the South Bohemian Region to deal with an AMOK emergency" was chosen with regard to the long-term professional interest of the author of the thesis; at the same time, the author tried to choose a topic and elaboration, which could bring a certain benefit and insight into the extraordinary event of AMOK - an active shooter's attack. The first theoretical part of the thesis deals with a review of literature and legislation relating to crisis management, emergencies and protection of the population. It also describes the activities of the police in relation to the intervention in an AMOK emergency - an active shooter attack. The second part of the thesis describes the research and the results of the research are processed. The research goal of the diploma thesis was to get an answer to the research question "What is the level of readiness of executive and commanding police officers included in the Regional Police Directorate of the South Bohemian Region to deal with an "AMOK emergency - active shooter attack". Quantitative research was used to obtain research results and to answer the research question. Data for the research were obtained by a questionnaire survey. The answers obtained in the questionnaire survey were subsequently evaluated. The results themselves are described and discussed in detail in the "Results" chapter. The author believes that the goal of the thesis was met since the answer to the research question is that the level of readiness of executive police officers is almost identical to the level of readiness of commanding police officers. The level of readiness is good, but on the selected scale it reaches the final mark 3. This diploma thesis can serve both professionals and lay public.

in English This diploma thesis analyzes the legislation focused on the internal security of the state, especially it is focused on fire protection units and integrated rescue system. The aim of the diploma thesis was to open the problematic issues of the relevant legislation. The first part deals with the theoretical analysis of the relevant legislation and the second part contains research that is aimed at verifying the application of this legislation in practice. The first chapter deals with the factual definition of the components of the integrated rescue system, both the basic components and other components. It also discusses the basic coordination of the components of the integrated rescue system. The second chapter describes the factual definition of fire protection units in relation to other components of the integrated rescue system and then presents the various types of fire protection units. Individual types of fire protection units are defined in terms of their division, material definition, establishment, organizational structure and personnel substrate. The diploma thesis as a report on applied quantitative research met a global goal and three sub-goals. The global goal (system analysis of the role of the police of the Czech Republic in the Integrated Rescue System and the definition of internal structural levels characterizing the police of the Czech Republic) was met in the theoretical part. The global goal of the research led to the construction of questionnaires reflecting the basic parameters of the initial theory (theory of civil protection) in the field of activity of the Police of the Czech Republic and generated three partial goals. These sub-objectives were associated with the verification of operationalized hypotheses H1, H2, H3. H1: The empirical distribution of lay knowledge about the activities of the Police of the Czech Repulic in the selected region is close to the normal distribution. H2: Empirical distribution of experts' knowledge of the activities of the Police of the Czech Republic in the selected region is a distant distribution to the normal. H3: The knowledge of lay people and experts about the activities of the Police of the Czech Republic within the Integrated Rescue System is different at the selected level of statistical significance. Hypothesis H1 and H2 were verified using descriptive and mathematical statistics. Hypothesis H3 was verified using methods of mathematical statistics. The system analysis method was used to meet the global goal. One-dimensional and two-dimensional statistical analysis methods were used to meet the sub-objectives and thus to confirm the hypothesis. The benefits of the work include practical and theoretical benefits. Theoretical benefits include confirmation of the applicability of two-dimensional and one-dimensional statistical analyzes associated with the study of research variables "Knowledge of lay people", "Knowledge of experts", "Types of theoretical distributions". Practical benefits include the normality of knowledge among the generel public and the declared distance from normality among experts. The question is whether the observed distance of normality in experts is large enough or should be even higher. It is the examination of the determined distance of normality in experts could be the task of follow-up work. It would also be good to focus on analyzing the results of the answers to the individual questions of the questionnaire. Any identified deficiencies could be reflected in strengthening the training of experts in the identified areas.

Title: Training and use of dogs for the customs. Objectives: The objective of this Bachelor Thesis is creation of a summary of information concerning training methods and their use for Customs of the Czech Republic. Methods: The developmet of this thesis was supported by study material search and its analysis. Furtermore, the methods of research, analysis and synthesis of the obtained documents were used. Results: The result of this thesis is a document that offers a summarised information concerning service dog training for the purpose of use by the Customs of the Czech Republic and an overwiev of the most used breeds chosen for these purposes. The aim of the diploma thesis was to assess, on the basis of the analysis, the level of Logistical support of the Fire Brigade of the Vysočina District, Jihlava Territorial Department during the Selected Emergencies. The theoretical part of the work is based on legal norms, professional literature and Internet resources. The theoretical part itself is focused on the integrated rescue system, while considerable attention is paid to the Fire Brigade. The work also pays attention to extraordinary events, their classification and logistics. The last chapter of the theoretical part, which bases on the previous chapter on logistics and is also used in the practical part, is the logistics of the Fire Brigade. For the practical part, a questionnaire survey was carried out, with the members of, the Jihlava Territorial Department. Furthermore, this section deals with the statistics of fires that occurred within this area. The gathered data are analyzed. The practical part concludes with an evaluation of four selected emergencies, focusing mainly on logistics.

Title: Dog training for the Police of the Czech Republic Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to summarize information about the use and training of service dogs for the Police of the Czech Republic. Methods: To work out this thesis the search for study sources and recherche of obtained study sources was used. At present, emergency situations are becoming a frequent issue in management associated with population protection. Pupils' knowledge is often of great importance for saving lives and protecting people's health, even though educational facilities are places where pupils are put in a passive position and will be fully dependent on the activities of teachers. The theoretical part of the thesis summarizes basic information about population protection, integrated rescue system, and the education system including the history of Population protection in emergency situations. This part also includes the study topics in the field of emergency situations according to the curriculum framework, along with described supporting materials and teaching aids for learning enhancement in elementary school pupils. The research part aimed to ascertain the level of emergency preparedness in elementary school pupils in Český Krumlov district and at the same time to evaluate whether girls have greater knowledge than boys. To achieve this goal and confirm or disprove the formulated hypothesis a non-standardized electronic questionnaire was used which investigated the knowledge of ninth grade pupils of selected elementary schools. This quantitative research was then evaluated using statistical methods. To confirm or disprove the hypothesis a two-sample t-test was used. The formulated hypothesis read: "In the field of population protection in the event of an emergency situation, girls at selected elementary schools in Český Krumlov district will have statistically significantly greater knowledge than boys.". Based on the outcome of the research, the hypothesis was disproved.

The bachelor thesis deals with the protection of the population and focuses mainly on one of its main tasks - evacuation. The theoretical part is based primarily on the literature and legislation, which are an integral part of this topic. The introduction of this section briefly describes the history and the development of population protection. The following is a definition of the term "integrated rescue system", a description of its components and documentation. Furthermore, the basic tasks of population protection are thoroughly characterized. At the end of the theoretical part it is discussed and the issue of floods, including the first records in the city of Písek, which is related to the research part of this bachelor's thesis. The aim of the research part of this work was a thorough analysis of answers from 27 respondents to a pre-prepared interview and subsequent evaluation and comparison of the answers. The behavior and knowledge of the inhabitants living in the flood area of the town of Písek during the evacuation during the floods were assessed. The interview consisted of two parts, where in the first informative part the respondents were acquainted with the topic of the interview and recorded data on the gender of respondents, their age category and whether they experienced floods in Písek in 2002. The second part, research, contained 8 questions evacuation during floods. All questions were designed to be comprehensible to each interviewee and they could answer them based on their experience. All interviews were anonymous and no additional questions were asked to respondents during the interviews. A comparison of the answers and their subsequent evaluation is given in the discussion. It was found that the inhabitants of the town of Písek are not sufficiently familiar with how to proceed and behave during floods. Their knowledge is not enough and it would be a good awareness to increase the evacuation during floods - for example, through professionally led lectures for the public or greater emphasis on teaching this area in schools. The conclusion contains another possible use of the bachelor's thesis in practice.

Sport games are part of social life and so it is important to ensure the safety for its participants and visitors. In Czech republic there are for such need many various law and other types of documents and regulations, which are decisive for the event planning. The goal of this Bachelor thesis is to analyze law, safety standards, security measures and knowledge of the visitors, who attend ice hockey matches in Budvar arena in České Budějovice, about the security area. The analysis of the available security measures during the ice hockey matches is included as well. To achieve the goal of this Bachelor thesis following research question was set: "Does the knowledge of the visitors of Budvar arena during the ice hockey matches match with the security measures for such event?". The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the law regulation, on which the security rules in Czech republic are based, while other documents are used as well. Bachelor thesis involves security terminology, sport theory focused on ice hockey, properties of chemicals stored inside the ice arenas. Theory also contains informations about the function of the stewards during the ice hockey matches and also risks and examples of emergency situations, which happened in sport arenas around the world. The research part of this thesis deals with the research question, which was answered thanks to the comparison of the available security measures for the ice hockey matches in Budvar arena and knowledge of its visitors gained through the questionnaire. The questionnaire was filled in by 100 people. The results are graphically portrayed. The answer to the research question is, that knowledge of the visitors of Budvar arena during the ice hockey matches and the security measures for such event does not match in 57,43 %. The results of the research part may be used as a source of information for the organizer of the sport events located in Budvar arena. At the same time, it may serve as a learning material in the security field.

The diploma thesis deals with professional training and activities of Czech Red Cross Water Rescue Service members on water dam Orlík. In the theoretical background chapter, the author introduces organization Czech Red Cross Water Rescue Service including legislative regulations, financing, system of education of members and also personality of lifeguard and its technical equipment. Resources gained for this thesis are from available literature, online articles and also internal regulation from Presidium of Czech Red Cross Water Rescue Service, which is not available to the public. Author contributes thesis with his own experience by completing courses to become lifeguard. In the practical part the author describes first aid station on water dam Orlík. The research part first deals with research questions, methods of data creation, then with the help of data analysis are given the answers to research questions. The used method of obtaining data is interview in brainwriting form with 6 professionals from integrated rescue system cooperating with Czech Red Cross Water Rescue Service on water dam Orlík and its members. Thanks to the ongoing crisis situation with world pandemic COVID-19 caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus, author was forced to communicate with respondents through email. Situation and all results are also summarized in SWOT analysis. Water Rescue Service should focus on maximization of strengths to minimalize threats. Overall, Czech Red Cross Water Rescue Service has two major challenges. Members should be more integrated with other rescue system members. Other goal is to elevate motivation of volunteers to serve in this public service. All results are the basis for Presidium of Czech Red Cross Water Rescue Service to set up action plan to improve its services on water dam Orlík.

Human protection in emergencies is a preventive educational activity aimed at acquainting pupils with select topics of population protection, especially with the types of imminent dangers and emergencies, their prevention and procedures that lead to the protection of life and health. The aim of this master thesis is the analysis and subsequent comparison of the content and forms of teaching the subject "Human protection in emergencies" at primary schools and lower levels of multi-year grammar schools in the district of Cheb. The theoretical part contains a description of the educational system of the Czech Republic, framework and school educational programs, in which Human protection in emergencies is included and elaborated in more detail. It also contains basic information regarding the protection of the population and its development. The work also deals with ways of educating current and future teachers in human protection in emergencies, projects, teaching materials and documentation for its teaching in primary schools. Other security topics are also mentioned, with which Human protection in emergencies is closely connected. The research part contains an analysis of school educational programs and the results of qualitative research, which took place in the form of questionnaire surveys. After evaluating these results, the research question "What form of teaching the subject "Human protection in emergencies" at primary schools and lower levels of multi-year grammar schools in the district of Cheb takes place?" was answered. At present, teaching is integrated into other subjects across all basic education. In the first stage, these are most often the subjects of Introduction to environment and society, Homeland Studies and Science, in the second stage they are Citizenship Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Physical Education. Teachers' explanations in schools are often supplemented by project days and discussions with the components of the integrated rescue system, where students are presented with demonstrations of good practice in situations where they become direct participants or witnesses to an emergency. In practice, this master thesis will be offered to schools that participated in the questionnaire survey, for the purpose of evaluating the current situation and as a possible inspiration for the introduction of certain changes in teaching to improve it.

Methods: Methods used in this thesis are descriptively-analytical. To work out this thesis the search of study sources and recherche of obtained study sources was used. Results: The result of this thesis are summary information about a Rescue unit of a General Directorate of a Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and about a Rescue Company dislocated in Jihlava. The Jihlava Rescue Company helps other units of the Integrated Rescue System with interventions during the extraordinary (emergency) situations, but the frequency of it's interventions is significantly lower. Since the establishment, the Jihlava Rescue Company has been accomplishing it's missions assigned by the Ministry of the Interior and by the General Directorate of a Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. Title: Analysis of the activities of selected fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service ot the Czech Republic in different geographical conditions. Objective: The aim of the diploma thesis is to analyze the activities of selected fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic and then compare and evaluate the statistical formulation of their interventions. Another goal is also to describe the structure, activities, organization and work system of fire brigade units of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. Methods: The diploma thesis uses methods such as content analysis and data collection from available sources. To obtain more detailed information from the commanders of individual stations, a qualitative method of semi- structured interview is used. The information obtained from the interviews is presented in the form of a transcript. The Bachelor thesis "Specifics of Integrated Rescue System from the non-professional public's view in Jihlava" pursues the issues of Integrated Rescue System and its bodies in the Czech Republic. The view on the Integrated Rescue System and the opinions about the Integrated Rescue System given by the citizens of Jihlava are considered to be the greatest aspect of this thesis. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces and describes basic and other bodies based on specialised literature. The main focus is on bodies operating in the city of Jihlava, the capital of Vysočina Region. The thesis gives detailed information from the historical pint of view within the whole country and also on the local bases. The practical part focuses on the non-professional public's view on the Integrated Rescue System through a semi-structured questionnaire. There were three hypothesis formed at the beginning of the practical part of the thesis. Following the gained research data these three hypothesis were verified and subsequently confirmed or disproved. The results of the research are presented by graphs, charts and tables for closed-ended questions and word processing of respondents' opinions for open-ended questions. Photographs showing symbols of main bodies of Integrated Rescue System are included in this thesis.

Providers of the emergency medical service are the basic bodies of the integrated rescue system. The paramedics that work in the emergency medical service participate in dealing with emergencies in cooperation with other bodies of the integrated rescue system. Unlike the common operations of the emergency medical service, during emergencies it is necessary to perform the rescue and clean-up work according to the appointed rules of the integrated rescue system. An essential part of the paramedics´ duty are various emergency activities exercising. The aim of the diploma thesis is to introduce a concept of an emergency and participation of paramedics in emergency and distress events. Furthermore, the thesis highlights frequent flaws in paramedics´ knowledge and points at such mistakes that might appear straight during an operation. It should contribute to improvement of an educational system for the paramedics who participate in dealing with emergencies. There are two research questions and two hypotheses set up for this aim. Research question 1: How do the paramedics perceive an emergency? Research question 2: What kind of experience of emergency solutions do the paramedics have? Hypothesis 1: The knowledge of a paramedic concerning the procedures during an emergency is influenced by the length of their practical duty. Hypothesis 2: The knowledge of a paramedic concerning the procedures during an emergency is influenced by the experience in dealing with the procedures. The research part comprises interviews with ten paramedics who practise their profession at least one year. Furthermore, a questionnaire construction with 106 respondents who work as paramedics at least the same time. The set of respondents and informants is composed of some members of the regional emergency medical services of the Czech Republic and other/private providers of the emergency medical services. The results of the thesis provide some flaws in paramedics´ knowledge from the field of the integrated rescue system as well as in cooperation with its other bodies, especially in operations coordination during the emergencies. The results provide an observation that even with a longer practical duty in emergency medical services and with better experience in dealing with emergencies, the knowledge and often also communication and coordinating skills of the paramedics will not improve. The weak points are the fields of terminology, function and structure of the integrated rescue system and their implementation in practical duty. The thesis fully reveals that during an operation of the professional bodies of the integrated rescue system in emergencies, mistakes occur in coordination and communication. It happens that the set competencies are not respected by individual bodies.

Title Characteristics of non-anthropogenic emergencies. Objectives The aim of this bachelor's work is to organize and characterise selected non-anthropogenic emergencies and summarise these events in a historical context. Methods The task of this bachelor's work is to seek out suitable literary sources, select important facts from them and process the issue of selected non-anthropogenic emergencies in the Czech Republic with an emphasis on the historical context of events. Results This work uses methods of comparing and compiling literature that relate to the characteristics of selected non-anthropogenic emergencies and descriptions of events that have happened in the past. The topic of this thesis relates to the comparison of an ultralight aeroplane accident with an accident of a glider. In the theorical part, the civil aviation is described - organizations related to aviation, airports within the territory of the Czech Republic, areas designated to sport aircraft in the territory of the Czech Republic or information regarding ultralight aeroplane and unpowered aircraft (glider). Consequently, Integrated Rescue System (primary emergency services and other bodies of the Integrated Rescue System) is mentioned in the theorical part of this study, as well as an emergency operation of the bodies of the Integrated Rescue System during an emergency ocurrence: an aircraft accident. The research question of this study focuses on the potential differences between the investigation procedures and final reports published by Air Accidents Investigation Institute. These can relate either to an ultralight aeroplane accidents or accidents of gliders, considering different parameters, technical features and seat capacity of the mentioned aircrafts. The answer to this question is that neither procedures or the final reports differ in any of the two cases. The differences consist only in the results and conclusions of the aeroplane accidents. Those deviations in the final reports do not relate to any technical differences of the aircrafts mentioned above, nevertheless do relate to the factors which caused the aircraft accident (operators, airworthiness, pilot´s medical certification, pilot licence validity, weather conditions, and human factor influence). The second aim of the present study deals with the evaluation of the Fire Rescue Service bodies emergency operation during an emergency ocurrence: a sport ircraft accident. The result of the analysis of this report shows us that the Volunteer Fire Department from Strunkovice nad Blanicí came to the accident point in twelve minutes, on the contrary the professional Fire Rescue Unit of the area of the town Prachatice came later. Hence, the region-wide coverage by fire rescue units is undoubtedly of a supreme importance.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to determine and evaluate the level of knowledge and behaviour of the population living in the Vimperk municipality with extended powers. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to set a research question as follows: "Is the population's knowledge with regard to conducting evacuations at a good level?" In the theoretical part, the main aim is to describe the issues in the main topic. This was carried out by analysing documents, especially legal norms and professional texts. These documents described the evacuation problems in the public protection and fire protection areas. This section also listed several cases of large-scale evacuations, that have had to be carried out around the world. From both historical and modern events. In the practical part, the task was to find out the real knowledge of the inhabitants in the Vimperk municipality. For this purpose, a questionnaire was created, which we then distributed among the population. The questions mainly concerned knowledge in the field of population protection and they also partially concerned fire protection. Some questions were asked in such a way that they could be answered subjectively, so their result will not be included in the overall examined knowledge results. These questions assess the personal opinion of respondents. The questionnaire consisted of total of 17 questions, whereby 10 questions directly examined the population's knowledge and behaviour and 7 examined the subjective opinion of the population. Evaluation of 84 returned questionnaires showed that the knowledge of the population attains 88%. While the evaluation limit was set at 75%. This information indicates that the answer to the research question is positive. The knowledge of the population with concern to implementing evacuation in the Vimperk municipality is at a good level.

In this bachelor's thesis regarding technical means of fire protection in the regional body of Příbram I dealt with technical and fire protection equipment of selected fire protection units. In the theoretical part I focused on general clarification of the concept of integrated rescue system and the description of its core and other departments. Subsequently, I discussed the levels of coordination during a common intervention of two or more units. The categories of fire protection units, types of fire protection units and their ability to act are also described. The next chapter focuses on the predestination of fire protection units. Further I discuss technical means of fire protection. I describe the basic concepts and their categorization according to the rules of the mechanical and technical service of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. At the end of the theoretical part, the division of fire stations by type is described. In the research part of the thesis I describe selected fire protection units of categories I, II and III. Basic description of the surroundings, determination of the type of fire station, number of members of the unit, their professional competence, list of technical means of fire protection, documentation of fire stations and armories. Subsequent own research is presented for each unit in a clear bar graph.The discussion includes the evaluation and comparison of the equipment of selected fire protection units by technical means of fire protection according to the predestination and own research. The conclusion describes a general summary of the bachelor's thesis and extended research of new issues. At the end of the conclusion the practical use of the thesis is described.

A new helper called automated external defibrillator has appeared to help in struggle for lifesaving by stases. Emergency rescue services in the Czech Republic started to follow the example of foreign projects in which this device is used by schooled non-specialists. The aim of the thesis is to study the usability of automated external defibrillator by integrated rescue system. The theoretical part is focused on legislative basis which determines the operational range of particular selected rescue services and the possibilities of usage in project 'FirstResponder' in South Bohemian region. This part of the thesis describes development of similar projects in other regions of the Czech Republic and compares them with the foreign ones. It explains important terms in first-aid and steps by stases. The thesis introduces automated external defibrillator as a very important element in the project 'FirstResponder'. It also specifies role of emergency medical service, its organization and activity by activation 'FirstResponder'. Last but not least it introduces application 'Záchranka' and participation of telephone operators in the project 'FirstResponder'. Methodology of work is made of unstructured and then controlled dialogues and provides information from interventions and activation of 'FirstResponder' in particular years from the beginning of the project in South Bohemian region, funding of the project, schooling of the rescue services joined as 'FirstResponder' and the social impact. The thesis reviews the numbers of interventions by particular rescue services and qualifies these interventions by observed parameters. It deals with the costs on purchase and costs connected with the usage of automated external defibrillator by particular rescue services. According to the results, it focuses on the gravity of the social impact on members of volunteer fire departments engaged in the project 'FirstResponder'.

This bachelor thesis is focused on "The training of climbing units of the basic services of Integrated Rescue System". The thesis is divided to the theoretical and research part. The theoretical part contains the division of basic units of Integrated Rescue System, their development at work at height and basics of methodology for professional climbing training. The theoretical part also consists of necessery means for the training and their further implementation in the work at height. The research part took form of qualitative research. It focuses on mapping out the issue of professional climbing training of the climbing groups in the basic services of Integrated Rescue System. The research part also consists of mapping out climbing equipment necessery needed for the climbing units intervention. Data acquisition took form of semi-structured interviews in which participated 8 climbers from ranks of the Fire Rescue Service in the South Bohemia region, Special Reaction Unit of the Regional Police Directorate for the South Bohemia region and Emergency Medical Service in the South Bohemia region. Due to absence of the uniform climbing methodology among the basic units of Integrated rescue services this bachelor thesis can serve as an approach of professional climbing training among these units and outline the difference between them.

This bachelor thesis deals with the Integrated Rescue System, its components and preparedness of these components for intervention in case of the attack of chemical weapons. The aim of the thesis was to find out whether the selected basic components of the Integrated Rescue System are able to respond to the danger caused by the chemical weapons attack. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical, general characteristics of chemical weapons are described here. Furthermore, the history of the development of chemical weapons is briefly mentioned, important milestones in this area are added, such as the first use of a chemical weapon. The next point is the description of the individual chemical warfare agents, the description includes the basic characteristics, effects on the body, and possible protection against them. Part of my thesis is devoted to IRS itself, means of individual protection and decontamination. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with the Convention on the Prohibition of Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and Their Destruction. The second part, i.e. the practical part, defines the methods and objectives of the research itself and the results that are graphically processed for the sake of clarity. Subsequently, the results are described in the discussion. The goal of the thesis was to answer the research question. Are the basic components of the Integrated Rescue System ready to possible attack by chemical weapons? To ensure this information, a questionnaire survey was used to fill the basic components. A total of 54 people participated in this survey. Research has revealed that the knowledge of the chemical weapons components of the IRS is low, from which it can be concluded that the components are not sufficiently prepared to attack chemical weapons. The practical contribution of this thesis should be mainly to increase the number of exercises related to this issue and increase the theoretical preparation of the monitored components of the Integrated Rescue System.

This thesis deals with the issue of protection of population in the Czech Republic territory. The aim of this paper is to evaluate the information provided to the population on the websites of municipalities and regions in the field of population protection. A partial goal is to determine the level of the education of the population in this area. To achieve these goals an analysis of websites of selected municipalities and municipalities with extended powers is performed and also a questionnaire investigation of level of knowledge of population on this topic is held. First, the terms of civil protection, civil defense and protection of population are defined. Then the concepts which outline the historical development to the present situation of protection of population in our territory are presented. In the next part, status and tasks of self-governing authorities and individuals in this system are mentioned. The essential part of this paper is the tasks of protection of population and their characteristics which are indespensable component of knowledge in this issue. Particulary it concerns: warnings, notifications and providing of emergency information; unified system of warnings and notification; hiding; individual protection; evacuation; emergency survival. Following the theoretical part which is based on literary research of documents dealing with given issue, the paper further continues with the empirical part which on the opposite is based on analysis and comparison of content of information in the section of the protection of population on websites of selected municipalities. It is concluded from this analysis that the amount and quality of the information provided on the websites of municipalities is insufficient. Further the questionnaire investigation is held from which it is concluded that the level of knowledge of population in the field of protection of population is low - the most frequent answer to concrete topics from the field of population protection was "I do not know" (88 %).

Title: Use of artificial slalom courses for integrated rescue system Objectives: The objective of this bachelor thesis is definition IZS components and usability artificial slalom courses for this IZS components within preparation rescue on wild water. Methods: This bachelor thesis is descriptive analytical study. Used methods are selection and research of resources, analysis of the information obtained and final evaluation. The bachelor thesis "The knowledge of providing first aid of the members of the Police of the Czech Republic in South Bohemia Region" focuses on first aid and individual components of the Integrated Rescue System. At the beginning of the theoretical part I will focus on the history of first aid and its current procedures and methods. Furthermore, I will mention providing first aid for particular conditions, where I will focus on situations that can immediately put us at risk of life, including unconsciousness, choking and bleeding. The injuries of limbs can also endanger our lives, therefore I chose a fracture. In the second part, I will describe the individual components of the integrated rescue system, their purpose and operations. The ultimate point is the education of Czech police officers, which takes place at secondary schools with a school-leaving examination (A-levels) or at higher police schools. Last but not least, training is provided through qualification courses, seminars and lectures provided by the Ministry of the Interior. In the practical part, two goals and three research questions were set, which I answered by evaluating the completed questionnaires. The main aim of the thesis was to assess the current state of basic knowledge and skills of the Czech Police regarding first aid and whether the age or length of work experience of respondents influences the depth of this knowledge. The questionnaire concentrated on basic knowledge of first aid, which should be provided by each of the integrated rescue system components. 50 respondents from selected workplaces of the South Bohemian Region participated in the questionnaire survey. Subsequent results were graphically depicted for a better understanding. In conclusion, research has found that, apart from a few exceptions, the current state of the knowledge of first aid is at a good level, nevertheless those should be deepened in certain areas.

Every individual is daily threatened in his life whether with big or small events, without thinking about it. Based from this fact it is important to know recommended ways of behaving in these crisis situations. Population structure in Czech republic is various and we shouldn´t overlook the fact that Czech population is aging. There are people among us in retirement age, who have the same rights to be appropriatelly prepared for extraordinary events. Bachelor thesis is diveded in two parts basic parts, theoretical and research part. The theoretical part explains a characterizes the population protection, including a brief history population protection in Czech republic. Primary part of the theoretical work is about main tasks of population protection and about the integrated rescue system. Additionally the thesis is devoted to senior educational system. Senior education contributes not only to their autonomy, dignity a self-realization but also to full integration into society. The key of this thesis was to found awareness of population in retirement age in selected institution in city Zliv in area of population protection. It was also determined to found knowledge about basics of first aid . For establishing the knowledge of population in retirement age the questionnaire solution was used. The questionnaire was dived in two parts, first part included most questions regarding population protection area, second part owned several questions for orientation findings in basics of first aid. The questionnaire applied to seniors living in nursing home in Zliv, where 28 seniors took part in this survey. The purpose of this thesis was to increase the awareness of seniors in area, when their life, health or property could be in danger. For this purpose leaflet was created, that summarize basic knowledge of population protection and first aid, which was dedicated to all participants of the questionnaire investigation. Questionnaires were evaluated and graphically processed. Analysis of current state of population awareness in retirement age in nursing home in Zliv in area of population protection turned out that seniors have insufficient knowledge about this issue. There is also shown by this research, that seniors have relatively sufficient knowledge of first aid. We can also say, that the survey hasn´t recorded any tragic results, but also it hasn´t shown any high success rate. It will never be useless when people in postproductive age will be taken care in any case in improving awareness in population protection, first aid or in other problematics, because everyone in every age deserves to. Assumed use of this thesis could be as study material for professional and general public.

The subject of the diploma thesis was a statistical investigation of selected cynological parameters of regional directorates of the Police of the Czech Republic and identification of levels of their service cynology. Levels of service cynology of the Police of the Czech Republic are described by the level of research (Chapter 1.1), the level of legislation (Chapter 1.2), the structural level (Chapter 1.3, 1.5, 1.6), the institutional level (Chapter 1.4) and the level of applied informatics (chapters associated with data collection). The fulfillment of the second objective, connected with the investigation of selected parameters of the service cynology of the Police of the Czech Republic can be described through the verification of operationalized hypotheses. The research confirmed that the division of service dogs of the Police of the Czech Republic within the individual regional police directorates behaves normally and is described by the Gauss curve. The second hypothesis can also be partially confirmed from the point of view of the expected link between the number of service dogs and the length of training. The plane of applied informatics is not sufficiently advanced in this area and does not capture the necessary data in the database of the Police of the Czech Republic. The third hypothesis confirmed that the selected canine parameters (numbers of deployment of individual types of service dogs of the Police of the Czech Republic and the numbers of active results achieved) correlate only slightly positively, but positive correlation was proved. Also, linear regression (after SV type exclusion) proved to be compatible with the correlation analysis performed. The data were collected from statistics of the Czech Statistical Office and statistics of the Police of the Czech Republic. The level of applied informatics of police statistics is not sufficient and thus it was not possible to work according to the original intention. Exact data on dog training were missing. The contribution of the diploma thesis can be seen in the theoretical level (applicability of two-dimensional statistical analyzes to the level of service cynology of the Police of the Czech Republic) and the practical level. The correlation between the number of service dogs and the number of active results was proved with the statistical survey.

Pojednání se zaobírá bezpečností z pohledu činnosti Hasičského záchrannhé sboru České republiky. Jistě není opomenuto pojetí vnitřní bezpečnosti ve vztahu k činnosti Hasičského záchranného sboru ČR. Stručně nastiňuje samotné pojetí vnitřní bezpečosti a pojmu vnitřní bezpečnost. Dále popisuje subjekty vnitřní bezpečnosti a zaměřuje se na Hasičský záchranný sbor ČR. Tento bezpečnostní vzor v obecné rovině má základní cíl ochranu života, zdraví a majetku. V tomto ohledu se pojednání zaměřuje na tuto činnost ve vztahu k vnitřní bezpečnosti. The paper deals with the concept of internal security with regard to the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. Internal security in connection with operations of Fire Rescue Service of Czech Republic is surely not disregarded. This paper outlines the internal security both as an approach and as a concept. In further it describes subjects of internal security while focusing on the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. This security member unit mainly aims to protecting lefe, health and property. In this regard, the paper focuses on relation between this activity and internal security.

Mass casualty incidents and their occurrence are a real threat not only to the society as a whole but also to emergency medical service providers, who, at the moment of the occurrence of a mass casualty incident, must completely change their approach to providing care and switch into the emergency regime. At that moment, high demands are placed on the entire integrated rescue system, both with regard to ensuring safety, preventive measures and organizing activities at the site of the mass casualty incident, andto providing quick and expert assistance. This bachelor thesis concerns mainly providers of emergency medical services during mass casualty incidents and problems of sorting of casualties. In case of a mass casualty incident, the situation requires a completely different approach to the treatment of the casualties than everyday work. In this situation, the individual medicine model when the emergency medical crew provides care to one patient only, from the initial contact to the transfer of the patient to a medical facility, does not apply. In a regime of mass casualty incident, it is necessary to set priorities for treatment, to carry out such treatment and transport the patient to a medical facility. The priority in such a situation is not to save everyone's life, but to eliminate the extent of injuries of the people to the minimum. The treatment of casualties at the site of a mass casualty incident is complicated by many factors that negatively affect the situation. In particular, there is a lack of time for decision-making and treatment, chaos, stress, panic, and in the initial phase also a lack of resources and forces, concerning not only the providers of emergency medical services, but the entire integrated rescue system. Since the on-site situation is optimized within thirty and sixty minutes of the start of operations, it is crucial in the initial phase to focus on the organization and management of the integrated rescue system units. The bachelor thesis is devoted to the issue of classification of the casualties on the site of amass casualty incident. The theoretical part deals with the topics of disaster medicine, the integrated rescue system and in the last part it is devoted to the classification itself. The theoretical part is based on expert literature and current legislation. In the part focused on the classification of the casualties, the individual methods for classification of casualties and scoring systems are analysed in detail, especially the START method and classification identification card, which dominate in our country. The practical part of the thesis is done in the form of qualitative research and compares the answers obtained by a semi-structured interview with two groups of respondents. Respondents were non-doctor medical personnel of the emergency medical service, one group from the Vysočina Region and the other from the South Bohemian Region. The content of the interview was divided into four categories, each focusing on a particular area of casualty incidents. The individual categories dealt with general and specific procedures at the site of a mass casualty incident, cooperation of the integrated rescue system and the issue of classification of patients. The aim of this thesis was to find out how the rescue workers are prepared for a mass casualty incident both theoretically and practically, how they evaluate the cooperation within the whole integrated rescue system. The aim of the thesis was also to verify the theoretical knowledge of the respondents concerning this area of interest and the procedures. The results obtained by the interview and their analysis are included in the chapter Vyhodnocení rozhovorů. The research questions and their results are discussed in the chapter Diskuze. The overall conclusion is included in the chapter Závěr.
