Solid waste management is one of the major aspect which has to be considered in terms of making urban area environment healthier. The common dustbins placed by the municipal corporation are leading number of health, environmental and social issues. Various causes are like improper dustbin placement in city, improper system of collecting waste by City Corporation, and more specifically people are not aware enough to use dustbins in proper way. These various major causes are leading serious problems like, an unhygienic condition, air pollution and unhealthy environment creating health disease. Up till now, research has been carried out by developing a Software Applications for indicating dustbin status, another by shortest part method for garbage collecting vehicles by integrating RFID ,GSM, GIS system but no active efforts has been taken paying attention towards managing such waste in atomized way. Considering all these major factors, a smart solid waste management system is designed that will check status and give alert of dustbin fullness and more significantly system has a feature to literate people to use dustbin properly and to literate people to use dustbin properly and to automatically sense and clean garbage present outside the dustbin. The Internet has become a daily necessity to utmost of the effective participants in which we interact and communicate among ourselves by switching data and information sensed about the environment and atmosphere. From this IoT they relate autonomously to the real world events and offer us with services with or without direct human interference. In this project we use IoT for energy efficient Environmental Conditions recognizing and supervising in our Classroom. This gives a vast advantage on the smart Classroom systems using Internet of Things. This project will help the teacher present in the classroom to allow them to control the classroom using android application in the Android smartphone. The overall system design is mainly based on Arduino Mega 2560. The appliances are to be controlled by the Android Application. The android application is developed using Blynk software or Blynk android application. We can supervise the state of sensors connected in the Arduino board and we can control the modules by simply enabling some options in the android application in our smart phone. The IOT based Weather Monitoring and Reporting System project is used to get Live reporting of weather conditions. It will Monitor temperature, humidity, moisture and rain level. Suppose Scientists nature analysts want to monitor changes in a particular environment like volcano or a rain forest. And these people are from different places in the world. With the significant development in Roadways, there is an increase in the number of toll plazas. These toll plazas have long queues and the time consumed in paying cash and returning change causes all the more delay. In this project, an IOT based Toll booth Manager System is designed in which a person can use an RFID to pay the Toll charge. The system would check if it has sufficient balance and then deduct the toll charge and update the balance through IOT. In industries leakage of Gas in the pipeline is a major issue nowadays. Leakage is defined as the accidental admission or escape of fluid through a hole or crack from the pipe. Gas leakages lead to losses as well as fire accidents. This project takes the control over automatic detection of leakages than the man power and thus reduce loss. Here we propose an inventive robot that clings on to the outer surface of the gas pipe and moves along the pipe to check for leakages. The kit consists of MQ5 gas sensor to detect the gas leakages. The robot moves continuously along the metal pipe, if there any presence of leakage the particular position is sensed by ultrasonic sensor and the message is send to the IOT through Wi Fi module. P. In this research, the proposed system is to design and construct IoT based healthcare monitoring system using ESP8266 Node MCU that supports healthcare system under circumstances for people. IoT based healthcare monitoring system is evaluated for certain parameter like heartbeat and temperature. This system consists of Node MCU, Temperature Sensor, Heartbeat Sensor, IoT, SPSS, Thinger.io cloud sever and mobile phone. Node MCU board collects temperature and heartbeat data from the sensors and transfer wirelessly to IoT website via internet connection 1 . This data can be transmitted to the data set linked with SPSS software and this software can be calculated the future data for people using linear regression method. So, Mobile health system helps to know health conditions in real time to people. A Polyhouse is a building where plants are grown. Polyhouses are often used for growing flowers, vegetables, fruits, and tobacco plant. Basic factors affecting plant growth are sunlight, water content in soil, temperature, etc. These physical factors are hard to control manually inside a Polyhouse and a need for automated design arises. Automatically controlling all the factors that affect plant growth is also a difficult task as it is expensive and some physical factors are inter related, for example, temperature and humidity are related in a way when temperature raises humidity reduces therefore controlling both together is difficult. Because the temperature and humidity of Polyhouse must be constantly monitored to ensure optimal conditions, a wireless sensor network can be used to gather the data from point to point. A graphical user interface GUI is unified for the ease of operations by the farming community. System also allows transmission of process parameters, including emergency alarm signals via e mail client server or alternatively sending a SMS on a mobile phone. A conventional chat has also been integrated with the GUI to add vibrancy to inter user communication. This feature can be embedded in upcoming 3G mobile technology. Simulations and video tutorials can also be integrated in the web server for teaching the farming community. In the world, economic growth of many countries mainly depends on crop cultivation. Agriculture provides the food for people and produces several raw materials for industries. Now a days, crop cultivation is decreasing rapidly. To overcome this problem, monitoring the crop water requirements, temperature and humidity of the cultivating land and a system to prevent the entry of animals into the farm is required. The term IoT Internet Of Thing was first invented in 1998.Kevin Ashton is father of IoT. IoT is derived from the two words -Internet and thing.
