The article presents a case study of an 8-year-old Caucasian boy who presented to the pediatric dermatology clinic for evaluation of a skin lesion on the dorsum of his left foot. Diagnostic studies including histological studies were performed which revealed a dermal-based melanocytic proliferation. She was referred to orthopedic surgery for excisional biopsy. She was finally diagnosed with Spitz nevus, a benign-melanocytic lesions.

The article presents a case study of a 5-year-old boy presented to the dermatology clinic for evaluation of a perianal rash. His rash failed treatment with various oral antibiotics, including clindamycin, cephalexin, and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole and associated with pain on palpation as well as occasional pruritus. His symptoms thereafter improved with daily polyethylene glycol therapy and evaluation by gastroenterology was notable for a mildly elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate.
