Background: HIV/AIDS has become a pandemic that worries the world community, especially teenagers because of their lack of understanding in tackling the prevention and spread of HIV/AIDS. One of the things that can be done is to identify interventions in the utilization of digital technology information media. Purpose: This study focuses on exploring the experiences of adolescents in efforts and in identifying interventions using digital technology information media to increase knowledge related to HIV/AIDS prevention. Methods: Qualitative research using interpretive descriptive approach and literature review on teenage students of SMA Negeri 4 (SMA A) and SMK Negeri 6 (SMA B) in Pangkep Regency, Class II and Class III. Sampling using t purposive sampling type of criteria sampling. The number of participants is 20 people and 5 participants who fall into the source triangulation category. Semi-structured interview guidelines with in-depth interviews, FGDs and observations using field notes. Results: There are 4 main themes that are obtained, namely: 1) Lack of youth knowledge about HIV/AIDS; 2) Perception of adolescents' response control towards HIV/AIDS sufferers (ODHA); 3) Work Program in efforts to prevent HIV/AIDS; 4) The needs of adolescents, teachers, health center staff, and the health office regarding plans for developing interventions to increase youth knowledge in efforts to prevent HIV/AIDS. Conclusion: Respondents have inadequate knowledge about HIV/AIDS, show negative attitudes towards PLHIV and are also involved in risky practices that can affect HIV transmission. This shows that the provision of accurate and comprehensive information related to HIV/ AIDS is a component of prevention and control interventions that must be increased so that intervention strategies are needed to alleviate suffering and possibly reduce the negative consequences that may occur. Introduction: Cough Etiquette is a non-pharmacological intervention in preventing respiratory infections caused by viruses or bacteria in health care facilities. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between gender with knowledge, attitude, and behavior about cough etiquette in TB patients. Methods: A cross-sectional study with 55 new TB cases aged > 18 years taken purposively from the TB 03 register of six Samarinda Health Centers who received treatment from July 2021 to April 2022. We used a questionnaire to measure knowledge, attitudes, and behavior toward cough etiquette. The knowledge variable consists of 13 questions, the attitude variables comprised 6 statements, and the practice variables comprised 6 statements using a Likert scale. Data analysis used the chi-square test with a significance level of < 0.05. Result: Most TB patients covered their mouth with their hands (56.2%) or did not cover at all (16.6%). As many as 34% of TB patients used their sleeve arm, elbow, or tissue. There was an association between knowledge of cough etiquette in TB patients at primary health care (p = 0.008), attitude (p = 0.004), but not significant with behavior (p = 0.691). Knowledge and attitudes about cough etiquette have a relationship with influenced by gender. Conclusion: Men with TB who seek treatment at the primary health care tend to understand clearly the required attitude towards practicing cough etiquette. In places with a high risk of transmission, people with TB disease are advised to consistently apply cough etiquette to reduce the transmission of M. tuberculosis to other visitors to health care facilities. Objective: The major impact of COVID-19 occurs especially on the elderly, however the vaccination achievement rate among them tends to be low. The COVID-19 vaccination strategy for the elderly must still be implemented even though WHO has been revoked the Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC) status for COVID-19. One approach that can be taken is to empower the elderly in the vaccination process. This research aims to see the effectiveness of changes in knowledge, attitudes and behavior of the elderly regarding acceptance of the COVID-19 vaccine after receiving educational intervention using modules using the peer group method. Method: Quasi-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest pattern. The research was conducted at the North Bogor Community Health Center in April-June 2023 on 66 elderly people taken using a purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire is used to look at characteristics, vaccine history, assess respondents' knowledge, attitudes and behavior regarding the COVID-19 situation. Data collection went through three stages, namely pre-test distribution, peer group method using module-19 and post-test distribution. Bivariate analysis with dependent t-test using SPSS 23.0 software. Results: The majority of elderly people were aged 60-74 years (90.9%) and there was a significant increase (p<0.05) in the average score of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of elderly people before and after being given the intervention. The average knowledge score before intervention was 69.60 ± 9.51 and after intervention 80.30 ± 10.29, attitude score before intervention 80.43 ± 9.61 and after intervention 85.25 ± 11.99, and behavior score before intervention 86.29 ± 14.67 and after intervention 90.35 ± 10.34. Conclusion: implementation of the model with intervention modules is effective in increasing knowledge, attitudes and behavior. Objectives: This Study Aims to Analyze the Determinant Factors Associated with Basic Immunization Services for Infants Aged 1-12 Months in Banjarbaru City During the Covid 19 Pandemic. Methods: The Research Design Is an Analytic Research with A Cross Sectional Approach. The Independent Variables Are Mother's Knowledge, Mother's Anxiety, And Accessibility to Health Facilities, And the Dependent Variable Is Basic Immunization Services. The Research Sample Consisted Of 100 Respondents Who Had Babies Aged 1-12 Months in The Cempaka Health Center, Sungai Ulin Health Center, Sungai Besar Health Center and South Banjarbaru Health Center. The Sampling Technique Was Non-Probability Sampling, Namely Purposive Sampling. The Instruments Used Were A Knowledge Questionnaire, An Anxiety Questionnaire (Dass) And an Accessibility Questionnaire in The Form of a Google Form. Analysis Using the Chi Square Statistical Test. Results: The Results Showed That 58 People (58.0%) Had Basic Immunization Services According to Age, 44 People (44.0%) Had Good Knowledge And 55 People (55.0%) Had Accessibility to Health Facilities. Variables Related to Basic Immunization Services in Banjarbaru City Were Knowledge (P=0.03) And Anxiety (P=0.01). Another Variable in This Study, That Is Accessibility to Health Services, Was Not Related to Basic Immunization Services in Banjarbaru City (P=0.80). Most leprosy case detection in Indonesia is based on passive surveillance. This condition impacts the high number of new cases of leprosy and the disability rate of leprosy. Data from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia stated that for 2021, there were 7,201 new cases of leprosy with a disability proportion of 84.6%. The community's reluctance to make early contact is due to low knowledge and fear of stigma. SI-DINI is an android-based application that contains information about leprosy, videos on identifying the characteristics and symptoms of leprosy, and reporting suspected leprosy so that it is hoped that it can change people's behavior in a positive direction. This study aims to see the effectiveness of the SI-DINI App in changing people's behavior. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pre and post-test design with intervention and control groups. The use of the SI-DINI App has been proven effective in changing people's behavior in terms of knowledge, attitudes and actions. There is a significant increase in the knowledge aspect with p-value = 0.000 (p<0,05), the attitude aspect p-value = 0.000 (p<0,05), and the action aspect p-value = 0.000 (p<0,05). Objective: This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge and the status of the respondents' first marriage age. Method: The number of samples in this study was 811 people who were tested using the chi-square test. Result: The results showed that knowledge was related to the occurrence of early marriage with a p-value of 0.049 (p <0.05). Leprosy (Morbushansen) is a chronic infection disease caused by Mycobacterium leprea that firstly attack peripheral nervous then the skin, mucosamembrane, upper respiratory track, eyes and others body tissue except central nervous system. The province of West Papua have the largest number of leprosy in Indonesia. This number is shocking and make people worried. Data from public health office of West Papua province discovered as much as 607 cases of leprosy was found in West Papua distributed in many areas. From that data, West Papua province in 2015 was selected as endemic categories. The purpose of this research was to know the affect of information education using pocket book and audio visual to knowledge increase on leprosy and prevention behavior on leprosy patient at Malanu public health center working area sorong city. Research design used was "Quasi experimental pre-post test design" with audio visual and pocket book intervention. This design used to learnt about "caused-effect correlation" framework phenomenon with giving intervention or manipulation on research subject, and then learn the effect of the intervention. Population in this research was all patient with leprosy at Malanu Public Health Center working area. Total sample in this research was 20 people for each group using purposive sampling technique, purposive sampling technique is a choosing a group of subject based on certain characteristic that has a strong bond with population characteristic that have been known before. The affect analysis of information education to knowledge increase on leprosy after intervention was meaningfully increase than before intervention as much as 0,000 (p value <0,05). The problem of STIs in Indonesia is believed to be like an iceberg phenomenon because the official report on the number of cases does not reflect the real problem. There is a high number of asymptomatic cases that the sufferer does not feel sick but can transmit the infection to other people. This study aims to analyze risky behavior towards STI incidents in the work area of the Community Health Center (Puskesmas) of Bintuni. This is analytic observation research, with a case-control design. A case-control study is carried out by identifying the case group and the control group, then retrospectively, the risk factors for STIs in the work area of the Community Health Center of Bintuniwere examined with a total of 102 respondents, each group of cases and a control group of 51 respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS to test the Odd Ratio. Results: The analysis of knowledge resulted in the OR value of 2.771, the analysis of attitude resulted in the OR value of 1.4644. Knowledge and attitude are risk factors for the incidence of STIs. This study suggests improving health education, especially about STIs, and the health office and health agencies should be more proactive in early detection of STI cases in the community. The knowledge of each individual in the organization is definitely different so the cause of knowledge does not develop evenly with in the organizational environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of health workers capacity based on the characteristics and knowledge of health workers on the management of public health centers. The type of research used is quantitative research with cross-sectional study design. The population in this study is the entire Head of public health center, Head of Administrative and Program Manager of public health center in Ambon City year 2020 which numbered 143 people. The samples in this study used non-random sampling/non probability sampling techniques, namely purposive sampling, the sample set out in this study amounted to 44 health workers namely the Head of public health center and Head of Governance in Ambon city public health center in 2020. The data analysis techniques used are univariate analysis and bivariate analysis conducted to look for the influence of each free variable with variables bound using chi-square test. The results of this study show that Knowledge Based Health Capacity affects the health management of all public health centers in Ambon City. The diseases that are related to diving activities among the divers require a special attention. Incorrect diving attitude does not only cause a short-term risk but also a long-term risk. The aim of this study is to descriptively analyze the knowledge of fishermen due to work-related diseases, to analyze the factors of work-related diseases and provide training of standard diving techniques in Lumu-Lumu Island, Makassar. The type of research is observational analytic with the cross-sectional study. The population of this study is all fishermen in Lumu-Lumu Island. The sample was taken using simple random sampling techniques. This study was conducted in MarchAugust 2019 in Lumu-Lumu Island, Makassar. Primary data were collected from the interview using a questionnaire with the fishermen. Secondary data were collected from Puskesmas and Polindes. The result shows that the knowledge, attitude, and actions of the divers increased after the socialization that was conducted in Lumu-Lumu Island with Z value 3,361a, 5,465a, 4,221a. This provides the result of a statistical test that shows Asympsignificance (2- tailed) from knowledge, attitude and the action of divers of 0,001<0,05 for each variable which mean there are an increase of knowledge, attitude and the action after the socialization and training for divers in Lumu-Lumu Island. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the presence of Aedes aegypti larvae in endemic and nonendemic areas of DHF in Biringkanaya District. The type of research used was observational with cross sectional design and through direct observation. The population is all houses in the Village of Pai and Kelurahan Daya. Determination of the sample was carried out by proportional simple random sampling method in order to obtain a sample of 100 houses each. Data analysis was carried out was univariate and bivariate with chi square test. The results showed that the related variables were the actions of PSN in endemic areas (p = 0.025), water temperature (p = 0.000), house humidity (p = 0.000), container conditions (p = 0.000) in endemic areas and (p = 0.002) in nonendemic areas. Unrelated variables are knowledge (p = 0.141) in endemic areas and (p = 0.824) in nonendemic areas. The conclusion of this study is that there is a relationship between PSN action, water temperature, house humidity, and container conditions with the presence of larvae in endemic areas, but there is no relationship between respondents' knowledge in the two regions and the actions of PSN in nonendemis areas. One of the unique culture and loaded with religious meanings that need to be preserved is a tooth filing ceremony. Cutting teeth (Mepandes) is a ritual that must be performed by someone who is Hindu. At this ceremony is no treatment that is cutting measures or leveling the four incisors and two canines left and right in the upper jaw, three times chiselled, honed and leveled. From those actions raised complaints and no access to the spread of disease as health professionals need to think about health measures to prevent the spread of the disease and reduce complaints after cutting teeth Based on such thought. Researchers are interested in examining efforts to improve the knowledge of oral health of the sangging at the time of tooth filing ceremony (Mepandes). The study design with pretest-posttest control group (pretest - posttest with control group Design) with a large sample used in this study were 15 people on each - each treatment and control group, were selected by simple random sampling, the results of the data analyzed using analysis of Man - Whitney. Based on such thought, researchers interested in examining efforts to improve oral health knowledge of the sangging at the time of tooth filing ceremony (Mepandes). Based on the comparison as there are no significant differences in knowledge between control and treatment groups (p> 0.05) before being given treatment. But after being given treatment/training, the treatment group had an average score higher than controls (p<0.01). The assessment results in the treatment group the mean score of 48 at the beginning of the study and increased to 74.6. Objective: this study aimed to identify a stroke prevention model with a family approach. Methods: this systematic review is based on the 2015 Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) guideline. Articles were obtained from the PubMed and Google Scholar databases. Each article was assessed using eight criteria from the Strengthening the Reporting of Observational studies in Epidemiology (STROBE): sample size, sampling technique, response rate, outcome measures, statistical analysis, use of confounding, study limitations, and ethical considerations. 8 out of 2065 articles were used to develop this study. Results: family support plays an important role in shaping stroke prevention behavior, both primary and secondary, through risk factor management and knowledge provision. Conclusions: family support is one of the approaches to stroke prevention in reducing the burden of stroke. Stroke prevention by the family can be achieved by educating patients about stroke and providing support and encouragement for risk factor management. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
