Perusing the ways to drive sustainable business performance is at the forefront of research. However, recent studies call for deeper research into evolving phenomena of 'sustainability' to provide ultimate contribution in the UNESCO sustainability agenda, 2030. Therefore, the current study attempts to identify the role of green constructs (consists of green motives, sustainability-oriented values, green dynamic capabilities, and green practices) in creation of sustainable business performance through the mediation of green value co-creation and green innovation. Moreover, the study is intended to identify the moderating role of top management support and knowledge sharing to strengthen the direct association of green constructs and sustainable business performance. Quantitative research approach was used to collect the data from employees (executive level) of manufacturing organizations located in Pakistan. Following the positivism paradigm, the survey technique (close-ended questionnaire) was cast off to obtain 449 valid responses (showing an 87% response rate) from the targeted sample. PLS-SEM was used to test the hypothesis about direct and indirect association of green constructs and sustainable business performance. Results acquiesced that green capabilities are the significant and imperative facets of manufacturing organizations that enable them to co-create value for their ultimate stakeholders and green innovation, which in turn leads to sustainable business performance. To theoretically corroborate our empirical findings, the study unified the comprehensive moderated mediation framework of top management support and knowledge sharing, because neither standpoint alone can elucidate an extant research model. The study examined the impact of knowledge management and organisation performance in selected foam manufacturing firms in Lagos state, Nigeria. The study made use of survey research design to obtain information from the staff of Vita-foam Nigeria Plc. and Mouka Limited. The population of the study was the 792 staff of Vitafoam Nigeria Plc. Ikeja, and Mouka Limted, Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. The study made use of simple random sampling technique. Result of the first hypothesis showed the R²value of 0.608 which means that knowledge management technology variables have positive influence on workforce effectiveness. Also, findings of the second hypothesis showed an R² value of 0. 660 which means that knowledge management strategy variables have positive influence on workforce effectiveness. In addition, findings of hypothesis three showed that R² value = (0. 791) which means that knowledge management training variables have positive influence on workforce effectiveness. Finally, hypothesis four resulted in an R² value of 0.734, indicating a favorable impact of knowledge application factors on workforce efficiency. The research ultimately establishes that variables such as knowledge application, training in knowledge management, the strategic approach to knowledge management, and the utilisation of knowledge management technology all exhibit statistically significant relationships with workforce effectiveness. The research suggests that it would be beneficial for business organisations to adopt different knowledge management approaches. These approaches are valuable as they provide guidance on effectively overseeing and consolidating a company's information, data, and expertise, leading to enhanced productivity and efficiency. Strategic agility initiatives and knowledge management procedures have become a critical strategic challenge for attaining the necessary organizational performance in many developing nations. This study examined the mediating effects of knowledge management on the relationship between strategic agility and organisational performance in the upstream oil and gas industry of Nigeria. A survey research design and a purposive sampling technique were used. The instrument used was valid and reliable since the AVE > 0.5 and Cronbach Alpha >0.70 as well as composite reliability values that ranged from 0.803, 0.804 and 0.843. In the upstream oil and gas sector 40 companies were selected in Lagos State and three copies of the questionnaire were given to the finance managers, the oil exploration and production managers and the planning and budget managers of each firm, which summed up to 120 respondents. 112 copies of the questionnaire were duly completed and retrieved from the respondents, giving a response rate of 93.33%. For data analysis, Smart Partial Least Square (PLS) 3.0 was used via Structural Equation Modelling. Findings revealed that knowledge management has a significant effect on organisational performance and that knowledge management has no significant mediating effect on the effect between strategic agility and organisational performance while knowledge management and strategic agility showed a significant effect on organisational performance. Finding also established that knowledge management has no mediating effect on the relationship between strategic agility and organisational performance of upstream oil and gas companies in Lagos State, Nigeria. The study recommended that managers of upstream oil and gas companies should endeavour to embrace strategic agility and knowledge management to achieve greater business performance. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the relationship between the use of knowledge management and the sustainable performance of companies listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange, considering the mediating role of modern financial technologies and business intelligence. The statistical sample of the present study was made up of 441 senior managers of the studied companies with at least 5 years of work experience. A questionnaire was used to collect data, and its validity and reliability were confirmed. After collecting the data, the structural equation modelling method was used in SmartPLS software. The results of the research hypotheses test showed that knowledge management has a positive effect on sustainable performance and directly predicts 0.748 of the changes related to sustainable performance. Also, the analysis of the results showed that knowledge management through modern financial technologies and business intelligence has a positive effect on the sustainable performance of companies admitted to the stock exchange. Based on this, it can be said that the implementation of knowledge management dimensions along with the use of modern financial technologies and business intelligence such as blockchain technology can help the studied companies in achieving sustainable performance. Purpose: This study aims to analyze the trends manifested in literature from the area of knowledge management and performance, with emphasis on bibliometric analysis. Design/methodology/approach: To explore the studies focused on the area under investigation, the authors performed a search in ISI Web of Science and Scopus using the combination of keywords such as "Knowledge management" AND "Performance." Generally, this study covered a period of 33 years, from 1988 to 2021 because the first study was published in 1970 and the databases have not covered all the journals and studies which date back to the early 1970s or 1980s. The final data set comprised 1,583 publications with 40 articles removed during the screening and eligibility process. Findings: The results of the bibliometric analysis indicate that the interest in the area of knowledge management and performance has significantly increased, especially from 2000 to 2021. The application of bibliometric analysis on the relationship between knowledge management and performance uncovered various themes, productive authors and widely cited documents. The study highlighted how the knowledge management–performance relationship has evolved over the years and how the interplay between knowledge management and performance may help the firms in gaining the sustainable competitive advantage. Originality/value: To the best of the author's knowledge, this study is the first of its kind to conduct the bibliometric analysis on knowledge management and performance. Purpose: This paper aims to identify the impact of demographical and organizational variables such as age, gender, experiences use of knowledge management system (KMS), education and job level on knowledge sharing (KS) performance of knowledge workers in knowledge activities of a KMS. Specifically, it seeks to explore that is there any relationship between the KS behavior patterns of high KS performance knowledge workers with their performance. Furthermore, this study using its conceptual attitude model aims to show that whether knowledge workers' behavior patterns in sharing information and knowledge throughout a KMS have any specific effect or not. Design/methodology/approach: This paper proposed a framework to mine knowledge workers' raw data using data mining techniques such as clustering and association rules mining. Also, this research uses a case-based approach to a knowledge-intensive company in Iran that works in the field of information technology with 730 numbers of workers. Findings: Findings suggest that demographical and organizational variables such as age, education and experience use of KMS have positive effects on knowledge worker's KS behavior in KMSs. In fact, people who have lower age, higher education degrees and more experience use of KMS, have more participation in KS in KMS. Also, results depict that the experienced use of KMS has the most impact on the intention of KS in this KMS. Findings emphasize on the importance of the influence of the behavioral, organizational environments and psychological factors such as reward system, top management support, openness and trust, on KS performance of knowledge workers in the KMS. In fact, according to data, the KMS reward system caused to increasing participation of the users in KS, also in each knowledge activity that top managers participate in, the scores were higher. Practical implications: This research helps top managers in designing policies and strategies to improve the participation of knowledge workers in KS and helps human resource managers to improve their membership policies. Also, assist Information Technology (IT) managers to enhance KMSs' design to leverage with organization strategies in the field of improving KS and encourage people to participate in KMS. First, this paper applies a data mining framework to mining and analyzing data and this paper uses actual data of a KMS in a specialist company in Iran, with about 27,740 real data points. Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to examine the interdependent relationship between knowledge management and the academic performance of faculty members in higher educational institutions (HEIs) in Nepal. Design/methodology/approach: This study applied survey research to identify the interdependencies between knowledge management and academic performance in the context of HEIs. The data were collected from the 445-academic staff of four different universities of Nepal by using the self-constructed questionnaire, using Delphi methods. Factor analysis was applied to identify the dimensions of knowledge management and academic performance and canonical correlation analysis was applied to examine the interdependent relationship between dimensions of knowledge management and academic performance. Findings: The factor analysis explored the following seven dimensions of knowledge management: knowledge utilization, acquisition, generation, dissemination, transfer, creation and presentation and four dimensions of academic performance as research and publication, innovation, interactive learning and capacity building. The analysis of canonical correlation showed the interdependent relationship between knowledge utilization, acquisition, generation and dissemination with research, publication and capacity building; knowledge creation with innovation; and knowledge transfer and presentation with interactive learning. Practical implications: This study was carried out based on the day-to-day practices and perceptions of the faculty members of four different universities in Nepal. The changing context of global practices in academia, organizational structure and thoughts of faculty members are changing rapidly. It demands the practical aspects of transferring tacit knowledge to explicit one to enhance intellectual capital of individual. Originality/value: In a country such as Nepal, the concept of knowledge management is in an emerging stage and has been applied to some financial institutions so far. In this context, this paper presents a study that was carried out to explore the interdependence of knowledge management practices in HEIs to enhance academic activities and discourses. Purpose: This study aims to examine the direct link between strategic human resource practices (SHRPs) and knowledge-oriented human resource practices (KHRPs) to determine their complementarity for promoting knowledge management (KM) activities. Design/methodology/approach: The authors collected data from 387 employees working in top 20 IT and consulting firms in India through a questionnaire survey. Data is analysed using exploratory factor analysis and regression technique. Findings: SHRPs have a significant and positive relationship with KHRPs, suggesting SHRPs have a positive predictive capacity for influencing KHRPs. It suggests there needs to be internal alignment between the core human resource (HR) practices and knowledge-based HR activities to promote KM. It shows that core HR practices of hiring, training, job design, performance and compensation management facilitate knowledge sharing and creation through HR practices. Research limitations/implications: The cross-sectional design limits its ability to reflect cause–effect relationship, and further studies can adopt a longitudinal design. Further research can explore other different HR configurations on KHRP. Originality/value: The study explored the suitability of core HR practices with knowledge-based HR practices theoretically contributing to the HR configurational internal fit perspective, and KM literature. Practically, it suggests firms to consider core HR practices while designing organizations' KM strategies. Manufacturing firms play an important economic role by producing necessary goods and services. Manufacturing organizations must constantly enhance their operations and processes to remain competitive in today's global market. One method is to concentrate on staff performance and knowledge management practices. Many manufacturing organizations, however, struggle to identify the elements that influence these sectors. This study sought to fill this void by identifying internal and external factors influencing employee performance and knowledge management practices in a manufacturing organization. The study employed a mixed-methods strategy to gather and analyze data, including surveys, interviews, and case studies. Data from employees and managers in a manufacturing company were collected and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This study examined the elements influencing employee performance and knowledge management practices in a manufacturing company context, drawing on prior research and fresh data. This study's conclusions are essential for industrial organizations looking to enhance their operations and processes and university scholars studying staff performance and knowledge management. This study can assist manufacturing businesses in developing successful strategies for increasing employee performance and knowledge management practices by identifying the crucial elements that influence these areas. Objective: This study investigates the mediating role of absorptive capacity between external sources of knowledge and product innovation performance within the context of an electricity cooperative. Design/Methodology/Approach: Conducted with a quantitative methodology, the study involved administering a questionnaire to 82 supplier companies of an electricity cooperative, using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method to test the structural model. Results: The findings indicate that external sources of knowledge, mediated by absorptive capacity, have a significant and positive association with the performance of product innovation. Organizations need to utilize both scientific and industrial external sources of knowledge to develop both potential and realized absorptive capacities, in order to perceive financial, market, technical, customer, and strategic benefits from innovation. Originality/Value: This highlights the strategic importance of knowledge management in maintaining competitive and innovative organizations in the current business environment. The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of organizational culture on the relationship between knowledge management practices and the job performance of academic librarians in university libraries in Nigeria. The study employed a quantitative research methodology. A total of five hypotheses were proposed for testing, and a conceptual model was developed to test these hypotheses for significance at the.05 level. A questionnaire survey was used and a total of 230 academic librarians agreed to participate in the study. The data collected was analysed with the aid of SPSS. The results of the study reveal that knowledge management and organizational culture made positive and significant contributions to job performance. The results of the study also provide compelling evidence in support of the impact of organizational culture on the relationship between knowledge management and the job performance of academic librarians in university libraries in Nigeria. This study introduces the moderating influence of leadership style on the connexion between knowledge management and organizational performance studies. We present a Knowledge-Based Theory and associated hypotheses for testing. A survey design using a case study approach of four organisations in the Petroleum, Energy, Micro Banking, and Education sectors in Ghana was used to collect quantitative data. Data analysis shows the Structural Equation Modelling of the study using Analysis of Moment Structures. The outcome shows a strong and significant relationship between Organisational Performance and Knowledge Management as well as Leadership Style and Organisational Performance. However, results indicate that Leadership Style does not moderate the relationship between Knowledge Management and Organisational Performance. The usage and practices of knowledge management in higher educational institutions are growing after the development of information and communication technology. Knowledge management in educational institutions is being practiced to enhance academic activities, particularly in innovative change in the research as along with teaching and learning practices. Knowledge management in academia impact on the academic performance of faculty members while conducting academic activities and promoting academic discourses is today's concern. In this background, this research adopts a quantitative methodology to collect data from the 445 academic staff employed at four universities in Nepal. The factor analysis was used to explore the variables and items associated with knowledge management and academic performance. This process has identified seven processes of knowledge management and four processes of academic performance. The relationship was carried out by using correlation analysis while the multiple regression analysis was used to measure the association of knowledge management and academic performance. The research shows the association between the processes of knowledge management and academic performance. The association and relationship of knowledge management and academic performance matter highly in academia. Performance management is critical to the performance of individuals and organizations. We conduct a longitudinal study on a listed enterprise (i.e. Neusoft) in China as basis in first identifying the four stages of its growth process: initial start-up, growth, mature, and sustainable development stages. The evolution path of performance management system (PMS) in Neusoft can be described as 'point', 'line', 'surface', and strategic 'surface' evaluation systems in the initial start-up, growth, mature, and sustainable development stages, respectively. We find that the critical influencing factors of PMS include the good professional background and personal traits of line managers, clear communication on performance management goals between leaders and their subordinates, professional knowledge of performance management specialists, and broad participation of senior leaders in performance management processes. The four factors emerge gradually with the evolution of PMS. This paper contributes to building a comprehensive and dynamic construct for PMS and generates a systematic understanding of the critical influencing factors of this system. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The construction industry, given its nature of frequent disbanding and exit of professionals and workforce after a project is completed, cannot downplay the importance of managing knowledge and the need to manage the knowledge of construction professionals and the workforce at the corporate and project levels. This study sought to assess project knowledge management and time performance of building construction projects in Ghana. The objectives of the study were to determine whether project knowledge managed on past projects is applied on current projects, to determine the impact of project knowledge management on project time performance, and to determine the critical factors governing the application of knowledge management in enhancing project time performance. The study adopted a cross-sectional survey research design with construction professionals employed by 19 D1K1 construction companies within the Greater Accra Region of Ghana as the population. A purposive sampling method was adopted for the study, with a questionnaire as the data collection instrument. The questionnaire was administered by Google Forms, and a response rate of 69% was achieved. The study found that Ghanaian building construction firms apply knowledge gained from previous projects to current projects during construction, and the application of this knowledge managed on current projects during construction explains a 30% improvement in project time performance. Also, the findings of the study suggest improved project supervision and site management, a fully utilised construction team, and proper planning of works, among others, are critical factors that govern the application of project knowledge management for improving project time performance. These factors should be documented and applied as lessons learned on future projects to rid projects of delays and time overruns. The study would enable construction project managers to understand the extent of importance the application of project knowledge management is to a project's time performance. The authors structure the field of over-design, over-specification, and over-requirement (OOO) drawing from extant knowledge related to innovative managerial procedures in manufacturing systems, project portfolio management, and performance management. More specifically, we propose allowing the dominant perspectives of OOO and paving the way towards a coherent recognition foundation of innovative strategies in manufacturing systems. This lends itself to an analysis of innovative phenomena in design and production systems that generate OOO and helps to understand what the effects of the OOO on business performance are. The clothing industry in Italy was chosen as a target context because many innovative pioneering medium sized enterprises (MSEs) were operating in the industry. Because of the exploratory nature of the research, a multiple case study approach is adopted in this study. This paper analyzes the impact of knowledge management on the organizational performance of companies measured through previously defined economic indicators. Knowledge management in the company is observed through the factors that make up a knowledge management system, namely: business processes, people (employees), and information technology, while the same has been done for economic indicators through indicators of liquidity, indebtedness, activity, economic efficiency, and profitability. Knowledge management as a variable is described by ordinal data, while the business indicator variable is described by quantitative, real data. Research shows that most large companies have built-in elements of knowledge management, some medium-sized companies are involved in this process, and most small companies have not developed management strategies in which knowledge management exists as an important factor. The research also proves that there is a positive correlation between knowledge management and economic indicators, i.e., in other words, the research shows that knowledge management has a positive impact on reducing indebtedness and increasing liquidity, activity, economic efficiency, and profitability. To perform basic functions correctly in health services, healthcare employees need to carry out effective knowledge-sharing activities. Therefore, knowledge management is as important as other assets and resources for the survival and success of the organization the aim of this study is to define the main reasons that lead to barriers to knowledge sharing for nursing and whether there is a relationship between knowledge management performance and knowledge sharing barriers. The descriptive and correlational study was conducted on 562 nurses who work in university hospital. The data were collected using descriptive information form, Information Management Process Performance Evaluation Scale, Knowledge-Sharing Barriers Scale. There was a positive, low power and statistically very significant correlation between the knowledge management process performance evaluation of nurses and knowledge-sharing barriers (r = .358; p<.001). Additionally, the knowledge-sharing barriers were mainly correlated with the "information sharing" subdimension (r=.349; p<.001), while the knowledge management process performance was mainly correlated with the technological barrier subdimension (r=.287; p<.001). Based on the review, that knowledge-sharing barriers were knowledge management of nurses in healthcare organizations. Purpose: This study aims to identify the influence of knowledge management processes on the performance of basic education, including both private and confessional organizations. Design/methodology/approach: This study is based on a positivist view of science and adopts a quantitative approach. A survey was conducted that received 242 answers, which were analyzed using structural equation modeling. Findings: All the knowledge management processes were found to impact all the dimensions of organizational performance in the schools. The role knowledge creation exerts on people in the organization was made apparent, as was the way in which knowledge storage impacts three Balanced Scorecard dimensions, namely, people, internal processes and sustainability. Research limitations/implications: This research is limited to private confessional basic education schools in Brazil that work at one or more levels of basic education. Practical implications: This research is intended to help educational managers improve their knowledge management practices and achieve better performance within the educational environment. The purpose of the article is to develop knowledge from applied research that examined a real-time application of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM) model in Isfahan Regional Electric Company (IREC). The study objectives include identifying strengths and areas requiring improvement and stimulating a quality culture to address them. The research was conducted in three stages: (1) formation of a focus group to analyze the gap between the desired situation and the current state of IREC, (2) distribution of questionnaires among experts inside and outside the company, and identification of the importance of each factor causing a gap and (3) reestablishment of the focus group to provide strategies to close the gap between the current and desired states. The key findings indicate that (a) employee management, (b) social and customer impact, (c) key performance results, and (d) partnership and resources, have significant gaps with the desired situation. Improvement strategies were recommended to bridge these gaps and improve the IREC performance measurement and evaluation system, its strengths, and areas for improvement. Purpose: Nowadays, faced with increasingly dynamic and fierce competition, knowledge is considered to be the core to survive and maintain competitive advantages in both managerial practices and academia. Against this background, this study analyzed the influence of technological capabilities (TC) and technology management (TM) on corporate economic performance in the contexts of corporate internal governance mechanisms and external institutional environment from the institutional perspective. Design/methodology/approach: This study collected data on Chinese publicly listed manufacturing firms in Shenzhen and Shanghai stock markets from 2008 to 2017 and the final data included 3,679 firm-year observations. Ordinary least square regression was used in both regression analysis and robustness tests. Findings: The empirical results showed that the interaction between TC and TM was positively related to corporate economic performance and both corporate incentives and monitoring mechanisms strengthened this positive relationship; the positive moderating effects of corporate governance were stronger under a more developed corporate external institutional environment. Energy industries are the pioneers in exploiting the knowledge management (KM) for meeting the challenges. Renewable energy industries are emerging to meet the energy security and climate changes and challenges. Therefore, it was of interest to study how the Indian renewable energy (RE) industries are able to exploit the KM practices to boost their organisation performance. Pilot study was undertaken to study the prevalence of the knowledge management (KM) practices in Indian renewable energy industries through the questionnaire and the measurement of Knowledge Management Performance Index (KMPI) value. The questionnaire was modified based on the outcomes of pilot study. The same qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis were done for the pilot study, and the KMPI value was also determined. The relation of all KM concepts, viz. KM creation, KM storage, KM transfer, KM exploitation and KM dissemination was the construct. This study provides one of first insights of KM performance in promoting new and renewable energy technologies. The clarity on the knowledge and technological gap, process of extracting and disseminating information, difficulty in accessing skilled labour, lack of collaborative R and D and research activities and storage of knowledge were found to be major issues in the exploitation of KM in RE industries in India. Purpose: This study examines the mediating effect of an effective knowledge management (KM) in the relationship between talent management (TM) and organizational performance. This study was operationalized among the small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Design/methodology/approach: A cross-sectional survey design was used to collect data from a sample of 260 SMEs business. The data collected was analyzed using correlations and hierarchical regression to test the mediating effect of KM on the relationship between TM and firm performance. Findings: The findings show that KM mediates the relationship between TM and firm performance. They also suggest that TM contribute to enhancing performance through improvements in KM. Research limitations: The sample used in the research is not representative of all the SMEs operating in Uganda. This limitation presents the challenge of generalising and we therefore suggest caution when interpreting the results. We note the challenge of a skewed sample. For instance, most of the respondents to our study were confined to tailoring and design and metal and fabrication sectors. The skewed sample is a notable limitation of the research. The study was limited to Uganda only hence it did not capture information relating to other geographical settings, which may limit the effectiveness of the findings therein. Practical implications: Based on the findings of the study, the managers of the SME can use the study results to develop strategies and interventions that can enable their firms to improve on their performance even in the harsh economic environment through adopting positive practices such as KM. Originality/value: This paper contributes by filling a gap in HR management and SMEs literature, in which empirical studies on the relationship between TM and firm performance have been limited until now. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of knowledge management (KM) on innovative performance with the mediating effect of unlearning (UNL) in Iran Water Resources Management Company. Design/methodology/approach: In terms of data collection, this study has elements of library study and field study. To collect the data, a researcher-made questionnaire with three subscales of KM, UNL and innovative performance was used. The population of this study was 800 employees of Iran Water Resources Management Company, from whom a sample of 256 participants was selected through random sampling. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data and test the hypotheses through smart PLS software. Findings: The results of data analysis showed that there is a significant relationship between KM and innovative performance, with UNL having a positive mediating effect. Research limitations/implications: Recent research complements existing knowledge in the field of organizational KM. Practical implications: This study provides a good view of the impact of using KM in improving innovative performance by applying the UNL process. Originality/value: This study can be a beacon for decision-makers in the optimal use of KM in the organization. The current study is a meta analysis study to identify the factors related to infection management performance and the effect size according to the factors. Data collection was included from the data of KMBASE, RISS, KISS, DBpia, National Library of Korea, Pubmed, and EMBASE. R3.5.1 was used for the data analysis. A total of 22 factors were identified. The meta analysis showed the effect size as follows: gender(.16), age(.30), education(.32), beds(.28), needs of education in infection management(.44), participating in education of infection management(.25), recognition/knowledge in infection management(.70). Various studies have widely demonstrated the impact of knowledge management on organizational performance in highly turbulent environments. However, it is confusing to identify how the process occurs in the reality of small and medium-sized companies, since most studies focus on large companies, causing dispersion and fragmentation in the related literature. In this sense, the objective of the research is to analyze knowledge management in exporting industrial SMEs in Barranquilla. To achieve this, a positivist research, explanatory scope, and non-experimental design was carried out, whose sample was made up of 71 exporting industrial SMEs from the city of Barranquilla, where an instrument with a Likert-type scale was applied to managers. The results reveal that the factor loads of all dimensions are relevant in the context of exporting industrial SMEs, however, the knowledge acquisition (0.969) and knowledge exploitation (0.956) are the highest. These results allow to conclude that managers prefer the activities that provide them with relatively cheap and short-term solutions, neglecting the actions that give rise to the conservation and transfer of knowledge. Research question: In this study we examine whether knowledge management (KM), along with innovation concepts (attitude toward innovation, open innovation, and innovativeness), evokes direct and indirect influences on organizational performance of nonprofit sports clubs. Research methods: A total of 266 valid questionnaires were collected online from board members of nonprofit sports clubs in Iran. Structural equation modeling was used to investigate the relationships between variables. Results and findings: The results indicate that KM has a positive effect on organizational performance via two different sequential mediators: attitude toward innovation and innovativeness, and open innovation and innovativeness. KM has a direct positive effect on sport clubs' innovativeness and organizational performance. Implications: Nonprofit sports clubs should take advantage of promoting KM processes such as facilitating the development and sharing of new knowledge through relying on internal and external knowledge sources. By doing so, sports clubs can enhance capabilities to exploit external knowledge and foster a positive attitude towards newness and innovation which can help them to innovate more and perform better. This study aims at explaining innovation performance of organizations as a combination of resources and capabilities. This study starts with asking the question how the relationship between firm-specific knowledge and innovation performance can be explained. To answer this question, insights from the resource-based view (RBV) and the dynamic capabilities approach (DCA) are combined. This leads to a set of hypotheses. The first hypothesis states that knowledge-specificity and innovation performance are positively related. The second hypothesis states that organizational learning practices mediate the relationship between knowledge-specificity and innovation performance. Then, two contrasting hypotheses are formulated stating that the relationship between knowledge-specificity and organizational learning practices of organizations is strengthened or weakened by the level of autonomy. Together these hypotheses lead to a mediated-moderation model of knowledge-specificity and innovation performance. The model is tested using a mediated-moderation analysis on a sample of 673 private organizations in the Netherlands. The analyses show that there is a positive relationship between knowledge-specificity and innovation performance and that this relationship is mediated by the extent to which organizations apply learning practices. Hypotheses 1 and 2 are thus supported. Furthermore, the level of autonomy weakens the relationship between knowledge-specificity and organizational learning practices. This study's main contribution lies in combining theoretical insights from the RBV and the DCA, applying them to the field of knowledge management, and testing them empirically. The analyses lead to two insights for organizations interested in increasing their innovation performance. First, investing in learning capabilities enhances innovation performance. Purpose: This paper aims to investigate the causal relationships between organisational practices, employee knowledge management (KM) engagement and organisational KM performance. Design/methodology/approach: Following a quantitative research approach, an online survey of 536 knowledge workers from multinational knowledge-based organisations located in Sri Lanka was carried out. The data were analysed with structural equation modelling. Findings: Teamwork, reward structure, learning, performance management and employee empowerment are found to be motivational antecedents of KM engagement while, subsequently, organisational KM performance is affected by employee KM engagement. Research limitations/implications: The findings of this study are based on the use of five key organisational practices derived from the literature. Further research is needed to establish whether the findings extend to other organisational practices such as resourcing strategy, organisational culture and communication. Further, the sample for this research comprised knowledge workers in Sri Lankan organisations which limit the generalisability of the findings. Practical implications: Teamwork, rewards structure, learning, performance management and employee empowerment are organisational practices that foster employee KM engagement. Organisational practices and employee KM engagement are imperative for the organisational success of KM initiatives. Originality/value: This research introduces the term KM engagement as the indicator of individual-level KM success and integrates the sequential linkage between individual-level KM outcomes (i.e. KM engagement) and organisational KM outcomes (KM performance) which has not yet been investigated. The study aimed to identify the mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation on the impact of knowledge management processes on successful organizational performance at industrial sector in Jordan. A quantitative questionnaire survey is conducted. The study population consisted of all senior and middle administrations and employees in the pharmaceutical industry companies in Jordan. The study sample consisted of (150) senior and middle administrations, and (250) employees. The study sample was selected by random stratified method. The results revealed that There is an impact of knowledge management on the Organizational performance at (α ≥ 0.05) in the pharmaceutical industry companies in Jordan. Furthermore, there is an impact of knowledge management on the Entrepreneurial Orientation at (a = 0.05) in the pharmaceutical industry companies in Jordan. Our research mainly contributes to suggesting a new mechanism for applying knowledge management and leadership, which has been turned into a tool for improving organizational performance in the company and delivering a high quality product. Purpose: This study aims to examine and validate the impact of marketing knowledge management (MKM) (assets and capabilities) on business performance (BP) via the mediating role of the digital financial innovation in Jordanian commercial banks. Design/methodology/approach: Based on a literature review, recourses-based theory, knowledge-based theory and financial innovation theory, an integrated conceptual framework has been developed to guide the study. A quantitative survey approach was used, and the data was collected from 336 managers and employees in all 13 Jordanian commercial banks using online and in hand instruments. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze and verify the study variables. Findings: The main findings revealed that the MKM had a significant positive influence on BP. Digital financial innovation acted as a partial mediators in this relationship. Originality/value: This paper contributes to theory by filling a gap in the literature regarding the role of MKM assets and capabilities in commercial banks operating in developing countries such as Jordan. The article describes the study of the influence of shock onlinezation caused by the CoViD‐19 quarantine on the knowledge management performance and effectiveness in organizations. The methodology of the study is based on a set of multiple linear regression equations linking together the onlinezation, knowledge management parameters, problem‐solving and financial performance. The results of the study allow developing a set of practical recommendations regarding the development of knowledge management systems in organizations under the onlinezation context, with a special accent to solving technical and/or marketing uncertainty‐related problems with architectural or modular innovations. This study examined knowledge management and organizational performance of selected deposit money banks in Nigeria. Specifically it determines the relationship between them and hence the effect of knowledge acquisition, knowledge conversion, knowledge application and knowledge protection on the performance of deposit money banks in Nigeria. In pursuance of the above, the study employs the survey research design. Data was obtained from the employees of the five banks by simple random sampling technique method. Taro Yamane's formula was used to determine the sample size of 400 respondents. Proportionate representation was used to get the 400 respondents since the number of employees was not the same in each of the five banks. Data analyzed was subjected to simple percentage, descriptive statistics, and normality test. Correlation and OLS linear regression analysis was also carried out. The result revealed that knowledge acquisition practices have significant positive relationship on performance by deposit money banks in Nigeria, that knowledge conversion practices have significant positive relationship with performance of deposit money banks in Nigeria, that knowledge application practices have significant positive relationship with performance of deposit money banks in Nigeria and knowledge protection practices have significant positive relationship with performance of deposit money banks in Nigeria. The contributions to knowledge were that the study affirmed knowledge acquisition facilitates organizational performance through its increased marketing effort, that knowledge conversion enhances organizational performance by way of expertise and efficiency, that knowledge application helps in the area of better risk management and that knowledge protection enhances competitive advantage of the organization. The study demonstrated a hybrid of resourced based theory and left brain and right brain management theory. This research examines the interrelation of knowledge generation (KG) and knowledge sharing (KC) and how they influence IT infrastructure (ITI) and strategic decision support systems (SDSS) to enhance business process performance (BPP) and firm performance (FP). Furthermore, the objective of this study is to emphasise the importance of applying information systems strategies (ISS) such as knowledge capture and utilisation to make better firm processes to boost firm performance in knowledge management process-intensive organisations. The study surveyed 261 Brazilian companies and used partial least squares path modelling to test the hypotheses proposed herein. The research findings showed that KG and KC influence ITI. Additionally, it also showed that ITI has full mediation in its relationship with KG and SDSS and partial mediation in its relationship with KC on the SDSS. Finally, BPP demonstrated full mediation in its relationship with SDSS and FP. The research findings contribute to firms understand how BPP and FP are affected through ISS embedded into knowledge and utilisation coupled with knowledge generation and sharing. Purpose: The study explores the impact of knowledge-oriented leadership (KOL) on knowledge management (KM) processes and the indirect relationship of KM processes with organizational performance (OP) via mediating the role of creative organizational learning (COL) in cross-cultural settings. Design/methodology/approach: This research used a survey structure of 784 faculty and admin personnel from higher education institutions in China and Pakistan. Smart-PLS, 3.2.9 was used to perform analysis. Findings: The result shows a significant positive influence of KOL on KM processes and KM processes on OP via the partial mediating effect of COL in China, Pakistan and the overall sample. The multi-group analysis confirmed the substantial differential effect of KOL on KM processes. Practical implications: Outcomes of this research affirm KM's university practice and recommend how higher education academics and administrators prioritize KOL, KM processes and COL while strengthening OP in a culturally different environment. Originality/value: The current research is among the initial experiments to determine KOL, KM processes, COL and organizational (University) performance relationships in a culturally different environment. The study is among the initials that just not empirically explore the associations between the factors but sheds light on existing literature by immediately exploring COL's mediating position in China and Pakistan's HEIs.
