The article focuses on the mass killings of South Koreans and U.S. soldiers in the different areas of Korea, including Seoul, Taejon and Wonju in October 1950. The 24th Division of the U.S. Armed Force found the bodies of 40 soldiers thrown and buried into trenches in the prison yard of Taejon including survivor Sergeant Carey H. Weiner. Along with the soldiers are the bodies of around 5,000 to 6,000 Koreans allegedly killed by the North Korean Communists.
