This bachelor thesis aims to find out what are the causes of violent crime on particularly vulnerable victims. The theoretical part in the first chapter defines the legal aspects of violent crime, the definition of selected crimes, the definition of crime victims and particularly vulnerable victims. The second chapter defines the concept of criminology, criminological concept of violence, characteristics of violent acts, phenomenology of violent crime, causes and conditions of violent crime, aspects of choosing a senior as a victim of crime, prevention, and repression. Finally, the impact of violent crime in society and on individuals is defined. The main goal of the practical part was to find out the causes of violent crime on particularly vulnerable victims using their own questionnaire and to confirm or refute the hypotheses that victims of violent crime are more often victims of particularly vulnerable victims than others and whether most violence is committed to parties of their loved ones.

The crime of robbery in comparison with selected crimes agains personal freedom This rigorous work focuses on the crime of robbery comparison with selected crimes against personal freedom. It deals primarily with the crime of robbery in terms of the criminal law. This thesis is systematically classified so that it contains the historical context of legal regulation of robbery in the territory of today's Czech Republic. In addition, the basic concepts, which are in the main a crime as such and freedom, like freedom, not only as the freedom of an individual, but also the protection of property, including the very innocuousness of the dwelling, which, of course, is part of the concept of freedom. The theme of this bachelor thesis is Violent Criminality with a Focus on Bullying. It is focused on characterizing legal, social and criminogenic aspects of bullying, to analyzing the frequency of occurrence of aggressive behavior of pupils and students of selected schools in them municipality with extended powers Soběslav. The theoretical part defines basic terms such as aggression, bullying, aggressor, perpetrator and victim, brings knowledge about the history and legal regulation of bullying. It also describes factors that influence the emergence of aggressive behaviour. Within phenomenology the thesis deals with the current state, structure and dynamics of criminal acts related to bullying based on data obtained from the statistics of the Police of the Czech Republic. The application part is based on primary data obtained from an anonymous questionnaire survey conducted at selected primary and secondary schools in the municipality Soběslav. In this section, three hypotheses have been set about the frequency of aggression within different age categories, form of aggressive behaviour and bullying latency. It has been found that aggression between pupils and students increases at a certain age. The prevailing form of aggression is verbal as expected. However, the latency of aggressive behaviour is lower than expected. The results of the survey were compared with the results of police analyzes, which indirectly confirm the findings. The benefit of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the given issue in the given territory. Furthermore, it can serve as an auxiliary study material in the study of social and legal areas. The thesis can also serve as information source for the staff of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and other subjects dealing with the pathological behaviour of young people.

The bachelor thesis deals with criminality, which is committed on elderly people in South-Moravian Region. The thesis is divided to theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with basic concepts, which are associated with old age and criminality. Further there are described crimes by which the elderly people are threated. The practical part is focused on the analysis of the survey, which was collected in collaboration with the elderly population in the South-Moravian Region.

Resume The title of this rigorous thesis is Terrorism and its Criminal Aspects. The thesis is divided into four chapters, whereupon each chapter is telling about the phenomenon of terrorism in a different way. The first chapter focuses on the basis of terrorism and theoretical definitions of terrorism. It also contains historical views on universal theoretically doctrinal definitions of terrorism. It follows the components of the definitions of terrorism and its causes and consequences. This part also contains the classification of terrorism called typology. The second chapter will discuss the codification of terrorism in the field of criminal law in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. There is an analysis of valid and efficient Czech and Slovak criminal codex, which contains a crime ,,teroristický útok'' and ,,terorizmus''. It also presents other criminal activities like cybercrime, economic crime, and violent crime. Especially cybercrime, also known as cyber criminality, entails a novum in criminal jurisprudence. The main topic of the bachelor thesis is an overview of the most common property criminality in the Strakonice district and the creation of technical precaution which should ensure the property safety. Moreover the perpetrators of the particular committed acts are assessed according to the accessible PČR statistics. The qualitative research is used as a method which consists of research question and three goals. The history of the law-enforcement agencies is described in the theoretical part. This part is focused on the structure and overview of the agencies from the origin of the Czechoslovak Republic until the present day. The basic terms are introduced criminality, precautions, criminal act, offence, administration offence and technical precaution. In the practical part the qualitative research data collecting is described which afterwards points on the main issues. Through the data analysis the form of the most common property criminality was discovered, namely the criminal act of theft by robbery. This criminal act was mostly made in the unsecured object such as garages, storehouses and cellars. The most common age of the perpetrators is over 18. From the analysed data and facts technical precautions were made which could effectively prevent the perpetrators' assaults. Seven proposals of the object securement show the development of the technical precautions at the end of the practical part. In conclusion of the bachelor thesis the issues of committed criminality are summarized and the overview of the most effective technical precaution is made, considering the application in practice.

Crimes committed by law enforcement officers Abstract This Master Thesis comprehensively focuses on crimes committed by law enforcement officers, aiming especially on officers of the Police of the Czech Republic, of the Prison Service of the Czech Republic and of the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic. This Thesis aims to bring the readers closer to the overall view of crimes committed the law enforcement officers, to provide a comprehensive overview of the current knowledge on this issue and to draw attention to seriousness of this specific crime activity. Structure of this Thesis is divided into three parts - the general part, the analytical part and the special part. The general part defines the individual law enforcement agencies of the Czech Republic and familiarises readers with their activities. The analytical part describes and assesses the crimes committed by the law enforcement officers, compares the criminality of law enforcement officers between the individual law enforcement agencies of the Czech Republic and with the criminality of general population of the Czech Republic and also with the criminality of law enforcement in the United States of America. The aim of this thesis called "Criminological and social aspects of juvenile deliquency" is to map the occurrence of criminal behavior of juveniles in Jindřichův Hradec district depending on the social class of family. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part first defines criminological aspects of juvenile deliquency and then deals with etiology of juvenile deliquency. Practical part is based on the research. For the quantitative research, a statistical method was used. Analysis of the documents was used as a data collecting technique. The sample examined are juveniles (15 18 yr. old) who have a record in the evidence of curators for children and juveniles in Jindřichův Hradec district. An overview of juvenile criminal activities in years 2011 2016 was drawn up based on the research. Hypotheses were determined in the research: H1: I suppose that in families with unfavorable economical and social conditions there will be more frequent occurrence of deliquent behavior amongst juveniles. H1a: I suppose that in families with unfavorable economical and social conditions there will be more frequent occurrence of property deliquent behavior amongst juveniles. Chosen hypotheses were confirmed. Research shows that juveniles from socially weaker classes are more prone to deliquency and criminality. These juveniles also had higher frequency of occurrence of property deliquency and crimes.

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of criminality in regions of the Czech Republic. Data related to the issue was obtained from the mapakriminality.cz web site maintained by the Czech Police. The thesis is divided into 3 chapters. The first chapter focuses on the general introduction to the concept of criminality. The second chapter defines three regions which, according to the results of the investigation, should be more prone to commit offenses. The third chapter contains the used time series methodology applied in the other three subchapters, which deal with the detailed analysis of three subjectively selected offenses. The aim is to obtain basic information of criminality in the form of selected offenses, to identify problematic regions and to create predictions of criminality in individual regions for the year 2017.

The bachelor thesis deals with the violence against seniors. The purpose of the thesis is to analyse and reflect this problematic issue. The theoretical part of the thesis is focusing on the role of seniors in society in general, criminality and its formation, crime prevention, and its possible solution. The practical part of the thesis is aim at the method of qualitative research. The data collection method is aiming at frequency of violence against seniors in each region. On the basis of interviews with attacked seniors, the assumptions, aforementioned in the theoretical part, have been confirmed and, specially, the easiness of its formation. The result may be helpful in setting an objective view on causes of the victimization of seniors (process in which a person, usually old, become a victim of a crime) and may serve as a prevention against these types of crimes.

The bachelor thesis is based on empirical research of criminality in the Czech Republic. The object is to describe incidence of criminal offences in regions of the Czech Republic in 2014, to discover dependence of criminality on various socioeconomic factors by using regression and correlation analysis and to estimate future development of number of criminal offences. In the last part there is study of influence of the former president Vaclav Klaus amnesty on development of criminality in 2013 and 2014.

The thesis focuses on the analysis of trends in crime in the South Bohemian Region since the establishment of higher territorial units in terms of both theoretical and practical. The aim of this thesis was to map the evolution of crime in the South Bohemian Region in the last 14 years, and identify aspects that affect it. The theoretical part characterizes the basic concepts such as criminality, its concept, latent and registered crime or status, structure and dynamics within the crime. Further factors are defined, such as aspects influencing the development of crime, but also various types of crime, and not least the system of crime prevention. The second part of the theoretical section is aimed at defining the territorial division of the Czech Republic, and the specific characteristics of the South Bohemian Region. The practical part includes quantitative research, in which the technique of secondary data analysis was used, based on document analysis. Statistical data of the Police of the Czech Republic were selected for the research group, which were then further processed and used for the analysis of crime in the South Bohemian Region only, with an emphasis on the individually surveyed areas. Aspects influencing the development of crime have been identified and characterized in the theoretical part of their theoretical framework. The results have shown that crime did not increase by 10%, on contrary, it decreased by a total of 21.2% within the period under review. Furthermore, it was found that in each year of the investigated period, proportional representation of the various types of crime varies. The results showed biggest differences are represented in economic and violent crimes within the investigated period. The objective of my thesis has been met. I believe that the work can serve professionals to gain comprehensive information as well as study material concerning the development of crime in the South Bohemian Region .

Bachelor thesis " Juvenile delinquency " is a compendium of information on the origin and causes of children and youth. The main goal of this work is to outline the issues of child crime , to identify factors associated with the increase in juvenile crime and to remedy their shortcomings . In addition to performances by Act No. 218/2003 Coll . Liability for unlawful acts of Youth and Juvenile Justice , introduces the possibility of punishment for juvenile offenders and focuses on the causes of criminal behavior among juveniles . The first part consists of a historical perspective on the criminal liability of minors and its evolution . This thesis presents among other important concepts in the legislative field of juvenile delinquency are thus specified statistical outputs Police and examples of police practice. Of course there are also the prevention of juvenile criminal responsibility from the perspective of Police of the Czech Republic. The practical part of the thesis is the result of research that was carried out between police officers in London. This thesis is focused on the structure and development of crime in the single administrative regions of the Czech Republic over the period from year 2000 when these new administrative units were established until year 2012. The main aim of the thesis is to map and describe the structure and development of crime in the different parts of the Czech Republic, the profile of typical offenders and crime typical for the given region and last but not least the detection rate of crime committed in the analyzed areas. Diploma thesis "Criminality and its presentation in media - media representation of four chosen criminals in the Czech Republic after 1993" deals with presentation of criminality and criminals in mass media. Mass media play an important role, they are the main actor that creates public opinion and influences attitudes and opinions of the public within the basic themes that are important for contemporary society. After 1989, in connection with beginning media freedom and development of commercial media sector we could observe remarkable growth of news related to criminality and crime. We could also realize an increase of their tabloidization and brutalization. SUMMARY: The thesis with the title " Development of the Juvenile Deliquency in the CR, Analysis of the Root Causesand Corrective Measures" analyses the development of the four following kinds of deliquencies - theft, robbery, riotous conduct and growth of drug addiction aminy adolescents in years 2000 - 2009. The thesis also focuses on the analisis of deliquency causes at this group and compares preventive measures in terms of various departments.

Diploma thesis "Crime in Czech media: Image of crime in Mladá fronta Dnes and Právo newspapers" tries to map way and development of crime presentation in print media in the years of 1996 and 2006, using a content analysis. In the initial, theoretical part, there are the basic hypothesis explained, a description of crime from the sociological perspective and a description of crime history in former Czechoslovakia and in the Czech Republic from 80's of the 20th century until the present time. Further, there is an explanation of relevant chapters from media studies. The pracical part consists of a description of the research method and the portrayal of the research process. It continues with the content analysis itself and the evaluation of collected data. The data are presented in percentage rates and displayed in charts. Acquired rates have been compared with each other and have been searched for further relations amongst them. In the conclusion there is an overall summary of the research findings and their evaluation concerning the basic hypothesis.

The aim of the work is to determine the current status of juvenile delinquency in the district of České Budějovice. For the process of this work is used the method of secondary data analysis. As resources are utilized statistical data obtained from the South Bohemian branch of the Czech Statistical Office and Crime statistics of Police Administration in the South Region. All resources relate to year 2009. In the work are compared values ??of juvenile delinquency in the city České Budějovice with the values in communities around the České Budějovice.

An aim of the thesis was to analyse the criminality in the South Bohemian region with regard to the degree of its severity, frequency and structure and eventually other relevant factors affecting the motivation. The objective has been achieved. It was found out through secondary analyses of a criminality evidence statistic system administered by Police Presidum in Prague that 61% of crimes committed under the influence of alcohol in the South Bohemian region over periods considered are from the traffic area. 15 % of examined crimes were constituted from violent crimes, 9 % of crimes against a property, 10 % of generally dangerous offenses, 0 % of economic crimes and 5 % of other ones.

Aggression and inclination to violent behaviour inhere in every one of us, not excepting children and juveniles. It is important to realize what aggression and violence are, and why and how they arise so that we are able to understand, control and explain the behaviour. When committed by juveniles, this behaviour is much more serious since juveniles, as persons who are not mature yet, often do not realize incurred consequences. The causes of violent behaviour are hidden in particular in their vicinity, in the environment in which they grow up and shape up. Thus it is very important to work with juveniles in order to prevent their violent behaviour. However, if the work is inefficient, a legal regulation not forgetting juveniles is needed. In rather serious cases it intervenes and attempts to remove incurred damage and prevent recurrence of unlawful conduct. The objective of the research was to examine and confront violent criminal activities committed by juveniles and adults. A qualitative method was used to obtain the results. It was a method of a directed interview with the respondents working in the criminality section, competent to speak about the issue due to their expert knowledge and experience. The purpose of the work was to ascertain features and manifestations of violent criminal activities of juveniles and adults. Subsequently, these groups were compared in order to reveal existing conformities and differences that were disclosed in a part of the interviews. The objective of the work was fulfilled. For confirmation or invalidation of the hypotheses that were raised in the part titled Discussion it would be suitable to interview a larger number of respondents.

The "Death penalty as a response to the growing brutality of criminal offenses" diploma thesis discusses the increasing trend of the violent and brutal criminality and the resolution possibilities of the situation. As the main goal of this thesis, the author deals with the idea whether returning the death penalty back into our justice system would be the right response to the increasing degree of brutality of violent criminals. In the theoretical part, the term "death penalty" is explained in general, as well as its history and use. Next the thesis acquaints us with the use of the death penalty on our territory in the past and its legislative question in our history. The next part of the theoretical part is a comparison of the several past years in the development of violent criminal offenses and their brutality in the Czech Republic. The empirical part of the thesis is focused on the research of the public opinion of the citizens of the Czech Republic and the USA regarding the degree of the increasing trend of brutal criminal offenses as well as their opinion on the use of the death penalty. The issue of violence against seniors is a major concern in many developed countries. The elderly are among the demographic groups that are most at risk. This group is growing because the population is generally getting older. Each year, hundreds of seniors in the Czech Republic become victims of crime. Within the bounds of quantitative research, I chose the methods of controlled dialogue, model casuistry and secondary data analysis. The issues seniors face are becoming more and more prominent and pressing; they demand a solution. Education about how to protect themselves and their property is an important tool, which helps to minimalize the perpetration of criminal offences against seniors.
