This study investigated the effects of microwave sintering on the microstructures and properties of copper-rGO composites. Graphene oxide was coated onto copper particles by wet ball milling, and copper-rGO composites were formed upon microwave sintering in an argon atmosphere. Scanning electron microscopy was then used to observe the mixing in the ball-milled composite powder, and the morphology of the bulk composite after microwave sintering. Raman spectra revealed how graphene oxide changed with ball milling and with microwave sintering. The microhardness, electrical conductivity, and thermal conductivity of the composite were also measured. The results showed that graphene oxide and copper particles were well combined and uniformly distributed after wet ball milling. The overall microhardness of microwave-sintered samples was 81.1 HV, which was 14.2% greater than that of pure copper (71 HV). After microwave sintering, the microhardness of the samples in areas showing copper oxide precipitates with eutectic structures was 89.5 HV, whereas the microhardness of the precipitate-free areas was 70.6 HV. The electrical conductivity of the samples was 87.10 IACS%, and their thermal conductivity was 391.62 W·m−1·K−1.

Different amounts of tungsten powder (0.07%, 0.4%, 0.6%, 0.8% and 1% on a mass basis) were added to H13 mold steel and the mixtures were microwave sintered. X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy showed tungsten contents of 0.039%, 0.358%, 0.526%, 0.742% and 0.976%, respectively. Under each tungsten load, the standard value of tungsten was lower than expected. The samples showed different degrees of ablation, which was related to the hollow material. Laser-induced spectral analysis showed that the surface composition of the sample was uniform. Furthermore, by using a metallographic microscope, the grain size of the samples was shown to decrease with the increase of tungsten content, which had the effect of refining the grain. A 300-g sample was sintered for 10 min in a microwave at 1300 °C, and the Vickers hardness values of the samples were W1: 565.2; W2: 570.6; W3: 572.8; W4: 584.8; W5: 593.2.

Upon accession [into the WTO], China must comply with the TRIMs Agreement to eliminate all TRIMs [Trade-Related Investment Measures] in existence. This article discusses Chinese Foreign Investment Law (FDI Law) and the criteria to be used in assessment of TRIMs. The standard for identifying TRIMs existing in Chinese FDI Law is the TRIMs Agreement and its extension in the Protocol of China’s Accession which will be addressed.

In Australia, even in a law library, it is often hard to find many Chinese books, materials or resources. As a Chinese lawyer, I was excited when I received for review the book named China’s International Transactions: Trade and Investment published by LBC Information Services 2000 since the book introduced and discussed the aspects of Chinese legal system relevant to international trade and investment.
