The human race inherited its neurobiological endowment not as an exclusively human thing but rather from all the species from which we evolved. Let us take play as an example. The concept of play has always characterized the human sphere, accompanying the child in all his stages of development and promoting psycho-evolutionary growth. To play has been recognized as the primary source of memory stimulation, attention and concentration, favoring the development of the schemes of perception and the powers of comparison and communication in the individual. Recent research in 2013 highlighted the notion that video games give adolescents and young adults the opportunity to increase and perfect social, cognitive and emotional skills, contrarily to the risks and negative effects one hears so much about. They do this through the use of the video game as a true social “gym”, used in the same way as any other peer interaction, thus promoting mental health and well-being.

Today's society is characterized by interpersonal networks increasingly complex and globalized; by rapidity of the daily changes, dictated by new technologies; from productivity and trade continuosly changing and growing. All this creates an educational and formative distance between generations with the consequent neglect of adults towards children. The latter appear to be, unknowingly, victims of consumerism and technology, no longer practice movement, physical activity or sport. The society, therefore, perhaps because responsible for all this, wonders about problems regarding these behaviors since, the result is physical inactivity, laziness, lack of exercise, overweight and obesity. These elements compounded by unavoidable and related pathological complications.

Background: the incidence of biomechanical pain related to Go-Kart Racing remains high, as high studies are not made due to the fact that racing with a go-kart is often not intended as arrival point but as a starting point of major racing career. In light of discontinuous racing pain, no theories about biomechanics have been suggested as possible contributor to solve the racing related pain. Perhaps no study has been conducted on the biomechanics of go-kart racing. However, the decision making process for the determination of the best racing position affecting driver’s symptoms has not been described. Therefore, the purpose of this case report is to describe the biomechanical reasoning within the go-kart racing framework for a group of four driver reporting different symptoms.

The physical activity is an important aspect of good health for everyone; it is even more important for psychiatric patients who usually live an unhealthy lifestyle. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of football practice on the self-reported health quality of life (SRHQL) and Wellbeing in schizophrenic subjects. A randomized controlled clinical trial was conducted to assess the effectiveness of the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program performed by Daily Center Mazzacurati, Department of Mental Health Roma/D , for psychotic subjects that included weekly football activities for a period of 9 months. The results show that the model proved effective in the experimental group (SG) as regards the psychopathological dimensions, which are significantly improved (Median(IQR): 31(16) versus 53(18); p=0.001); in particular the negative symptomatology has been reduced, and this result is hardly achieved with the drug therapy (17(7) versus 25(15); p=0.003). This study increases the awareness of following this ap proach and improving the extension and the confirmation of the results achieved.
