This paper is concerned with the design of fuzzy controller for networked control systems (NCSs). T-S fuzzy system approach is adopted to study the problem. In account of NCSs, various data missing on both sides of the controller caused by event-triggered scheme, data losses and event-driven controller are involved. For handling this issue, an auxiliary random series method is presented to describe the data transferring in the network. Based on this method, the closed-loop NCSs is constructed and then analyzed via Lyapunov stability theory. Additionally, the probability of random data losses at each instant is supposed to be different which is more practical. For the purpose of obtaining more relaxed stabilization conditions, the fuzzy Lyapunov function obtained on the basis of both plant and controller fuzzy rules is employed. Furthermore, variations of membership functions are taken into account, and consequently, slack matrices are introduced to obtain less conservative result. This paper studies the resilient asynchronous ${H} _{\infty }$ control problem for slow sampling discrete-time uncertain Markov jump singularly perturbed systems (SPSs). Compared with slow state variables feedback controller, a new controller is proposed for slow sampling discrete-time SPSs, which has less conservatism. A more realistic situation, i.e., the system modes cannot be directly acquired for controller design, is considered with the help of hidden Markov model (HMM). The goal is to design a resilient asynchronous controller based on HMM such that the closed-loop system is stochastically stable while meeting an expected ${H}_{\infty }$ performance in the presence of random controller gain fluctuation and the system modes hiding for controller. By utilizing matrix inequality techniques and Lyapunov function method, some criteria are established for the existence of the resilient asynchronous controller. In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy controller is constructed to address the finite-time tracking control problem for a class of strict-feedback nonlinear systems, where the full state constraints are strictly required in the systems. Backstepping design with a tan-type barrier Lyapunov function is proposed. Meanwhile, fuzzy logic systems are used to approximate the unknown nonlinear functions. The addressed control scheme guarantees that the output is followed the reference signals within a bounded error, and all the signals in the closed-loop system are bounded. Summary: Second‐order sliding mode (SOSM) control is used to keep exactly a constraint σ of the second relative degree or to avoid chattering phenomenon. Yet, the traditional SOSM controllers are designed based upon the assumption that the uncertainties or their derivatives are bounded by positive constants. In this paper, a global SOSM controller is designed for a general class of single‐input–single‐output nonlinear systems with uncertainties bounded by positive functions. Moreover, a variable‐gain robust exact differentiator is developed such that the SOSM controllers with finite‐time convergence can also be implemented even when the derivative of the constraint σ is unavailable. This note studies the problem of decay-rate-dependent exponential stability for neutral stochastic delay systems with Markovian jumping parameters. First, by introducing an operator D ( x t , i ) as well as a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional, sufficient conditions for exponential stability of system with a decay rate are obtained. Second, the results are extended to the robust exponential estimates for uncertain neutral stochastic delay systems with Markovian jumping parameters. The ℓ1-gain filtering problem of positive linear discrete-time systems based on networked communication is investigated in this paper. A filter system model in which the sampled signals are transmitted through the unreliable communication channels is constructed for a positive system. An event-triggered scheme in a linear form, which is different from the prior literatures, is designed to determine whether the signal packet should be transmitted to the filter or not. Network-induced delays are considered while handling the packet transmission. By using the linear Lyapunov function method, a sufficient condition to ensure the existence of the network-based positive filter satisfying ℓ1-gain performance is proposed. The desired filter design method for the positive system is presented by using a linear programming approach. SUMMARY This paper proposes an improvement to the delay-dependent stability of discrete systems with time-varying delays. The approach is based on the observation that the positive definiteness of a chosen Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional does not necessarily require all the involved symmetric matrices to be positive definite, which has been overlooked in the literature. The derived delay-dependent stability conditions are in terms of linear matrix inequalities. It is theoretically proved that our results are less conservative than the corresponding ones obtained by requiring the positive definiteness of all the symmetric matrices in a chosen Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. The importance of the present approach is that a great number of delay-dependent analysis and synthesis results obtained by the aforementioned requirement in the literature can be improved by the present approach without introducing any new decision variables. This paper considers the sliding mode control for a class of uncertain switched systems with partial actuator faults. By employing a weighted sum of the input matrices, a common integral sliding surface is designed. Moreover, the exponential stability of the sliding mode dynamics is analyzed by adopting the multiple Lyapunov function method and the average dwell time strategy. It is shown that the state trajectory can be driven onto the proposed sliding surface despite the presence of parameter uncertainties, external disturbances, and actuator faults. SUMMARY The problem of group consensus is investigated in this paper, where all agents possess double-integrator dynamics. Two different kinds of consensus protocols are proposed for networks with fixed communication topology to reach group consensus for the agents' positions and velocities. Convergence analysis is discussed, and necessary and/or sufficient conditions are presented for multiagent systems to achieve group consensus. The first protocol leads to dynamic consensus where positions of all agents reach time-varying consensus values. By applying the second protocol, both the agents' positions and their velocities reach constant consensus values. That is, static consensus is achieved. Abstract: This paper is concerned with the problem of exponential filter design for linear systems simultaneously with distributed delays, Markovian jumping parameters and norm-bounded parametric uncertainties. The purpose is to design full-order mode-dependent filters such that the filtering error system is not only mean-square robustly exponentially stable with a specified decay rate but also satisfies an performance requirement. First, sufficient conditions for the stability and performance analysis of the filtering error system are derived based on a novel version of mode-dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional. Then, delay-dependent and decay-rate-dependent conditions for the existence of desired filters are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The filter coefficients can be computed by using feasible solutions of the presented LMIs. Finally, a numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method. This paper deals with the problem of decentralized $\mathcal{L}_{2}$- $\mathcal{L}_{\infty}$ filtering for a class of interconnected (or large-scale) Markovian jump systems with constant time delays. The purpose is to present delay-dependent conditions for the existence of mode-dependent decentralized filters, which guarantees that the filtering error system is stochastically stable with a prescribed $\mathcal{L}_{2}$- $\mathcal{L}_{\infty}$ disturbance attenuation level. Such a purpose is achieved by using a mode-dependent centralized Lyapunov functional together with the so-called Jensen's inequality. The obtained synthesis conditions are expressed in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which leads to a convex design method for the concerned filters. Abstract: This paper is concerned with the problem of absolute exponential stability analysis for a class of continuous-time systems with sector-bounded nonlinearities and interval time-varying delays. Absolute exponential stability criteria, which depend not only on the delay range but also on the decay rate, are derived by using a novel Lyapunov functional. These criteria are expressed in the form of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) and they can easily be checked. By solving these LMIs, estimates of the exponential decay rate and decay coefficient are obtained. A numerical example is provided to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Abstract: This paper deals with the robust and deconvolution filtering problems for stochastic systems with polytopic uncertainties. The purpose is to design a full-order deconvolution filter such that (i) the deconvolution error system is robustly exponentially mean-square stable with a prescribed decay rate and (ii) an or performance of the deconvolution error system is guaranteed. Based on a homogeneous polynomial parameter-dependent matrix (HPPDM) approach, sufficient conditions for the solvability of these problems are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Such conditions are dependent on the decay rate, which enables one to design robust deconvolution filters by selecting the decay rates according to different practical conditions. In addition, when these LMIs are feasible, a design procedure of the desired filters is developed and an exponential estimate for the deconvolution error system is given. This paper deals with the admissibility analysis and stabilization of stochastic singular Markovian jump systems (SSMJSs) with time delays. More general conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the impulse-free solution to delayed SSMJSs are presented. Consequently, by constructing stochastic Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and applying generalized Itô formula, new sufficient conditions for the stability of SSMJSs and delayed SSMJSs are obtained in terms of strict linear matrix inequalities. State feedback controller is designed to ensure stabilization of the delayed SSMJSs. This paper is concerned with the problem of event-triggered network-based synchronization for a class of delayed neural networks. By introducing an event generator in the control loop, the model of event-triggered master–slave synchronization frame is constructed. Considering the effect of the communication network including transmission delay and stochastic fluctuation, an event-triggered error system of master system and slave system is formulated. By using the Lyapunov functional method, some delay-dependent synchronization criteria in terms of linear matrix inequality are proposed to ensure the mean square synchronization between the master system and the slave system. A singular value decomposition lemma is introduced to solve the control design problem for the case of the lower bound of neuron activation function is nonzero, which is different from the previous literature. This paper focuses on the problems of reachable set estimation and state-feedback controller design for discrete-time switched linear systems under bounded peak disturbances. For the reachable set estimation problem, a Lyapunov-based inequality is developed based on the multiple Lyapunov strategy. By choosing appropriate Lyapunov functions, the ellipsoidal reachable set estimation conditions of discrete-time switched linear systems are obtained. In order to make the estimated ellipsoids as small as possible, three optimization approaches are proposed. Specifically, the Genetic Algorithm is used to search for the optimal parameters satisfying the obtained reachable set estimation conditions. In addition, the state-feedback controller design problem for discrete-time switched linear systems is considered. The function of the controller is to manipulate the reachable set of the closed-loop system to lie within a given ellipsoid or make the reachable set small. The problem of state robust H ∞ tracking control for uncertain stochastic systems with interval time-varying delay is considered in this paper. The target is to design a memory state feedback controller such that the resulting closed-loop augmented system is robustly stochastically asymptotically stable and the states of original systems can follow the reference signal with given H ∞ performance. Firstly, by constructing delay-partitioning-dependent Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional with reciprocally convex approach, a delay-dependent condition guaranteeing the robust H ∞ tracking performance is proposed in a set of matrix inequalities. Secondly, new stability criteria for stochastic systems with time-varying delay are given with less conservativeness than some recent results. Thirdly, memory state feedback controller is designed via a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) which can be solved by Matlab LMI toolbox.
