To assess the knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding venous thromboembolism (VTE) prophylaxis among medical staff at a tertiary hospital in China. A self-administered web-based survey was completed by medical staff, and data about respondent knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding VTE prophylaxis were gathered and analyzed with chi-square tests, using a 95% significance level. Of the 2079 medical staff invited to participate in the survey, a total of 2042 (including 921 clinicians and 1121 nurses) responded.
