Copper oxide (CuO) nanoparticles synthesized by green Synthesis method using Curcuma plant extract and Cu nitrate. This gives a large-scale production of CuO nanoparticles simply. X-ray diffraction pattern (XRD) reveals single-phase monoclinic structure. The transmission electron microscopy (TEM) showed 12–110 nm size of as prepared CuO nanoparticles. The optical properties the energy gap was 4.5 eV. The current voltage (I-V) test results showed that the solar cell's maximum power conversion efficiency (PCE) was 0.067%and the filling factor was 35%.
