The first class is normalized by requiring that the functions satisfy f′(z) = z0 (0 < z0 < 1) and in the second class the functions satisfy f′(z) = 1 (0 < z0 < 1). In this paper we obtain coefficient estimates, distortion theorems, closure theorems and radius of convexity of order p(α ≤ p < 1) for the classes S*i (n, λ, A, B) (i = 1, 2). Further we determine a necessary and sufficient condition that a subset X of the real interval (0, 1) should satisfy the property that ∪z, ∈ X S*1(n, λ, A, B, zi) form a convex family.
