We describe the structure of all bijective maps on the cone of positive definite operators acting on a finite and at least two-dimensional complex Hilbert space which preserve the quantum $\chi_\alpha^2$-divergence for some $\alpha \in [0,1]$. We prove that any such transformation is necessarily implemented by either a unitary or an antiunitary operator. Similar results concerning maps on the cone of positive semidefinite operators as well as on the set of all density operators are also derived.

In a certain sense we generalize the recently introduced and extensively studied notion called quantum R\'enyi divergence (in another name, sandwiched R\'enyi relative entropy) and describe the structures of corresponding symmetries. More precisely, we characterize all transformations on the set of density operators which leave our new general quantity invariant and also determine the structure of all bijective transformations on the cone of positive definite operators which preserve the quantum R\'enyi divergence.

In this paper we determine those bijective maps of the set of all positive definite $n\times n$ complex matrices which preserve a given Bregman divergence corresponding to a differentiable convex function that satisfies certain conditions. We cover the cases of the most important Bregman divergences and present the precise structure of the mentioned transformations. Similar results concerning Jensen divergences and their preservers are also given.

We describe the structure of all continuous algebraic endomorphisms of the open unit ball $\mathbf{B}$ of $\mathbb{R}^3$ equipped with the Einstein velocity addition. We show that any nonzero such transformation originates from an orthogonal linear transformation on $\mathbb{R}^3$.

In this paper we describe the structure of all sequential isomorphisms between the sets of von Neumann algebra effects. It turns out that if the underlying algebras have no commutative direct summands, then every sequential isomorphism between the sets of their effects extends to the direct sum of a *-isomorphism and a *-antiisomorphism between the underlying von Neumann algebras., Comment: To appear in Acta Sci. Let H be a separable infinite dimensional complex Hilbert space. We prove that every continuous 2-local automorphism of the poset (that is, partially ordered set) of all idempotents on H is an automorphism. Wigner's classical theorem on symmetry transformations plays a fundamental role in quantum mechanics. It can be formulated, for example, in the following way: Every bijective transformation on the set L of all 1-dimensional subspaces of a Hilbert space H which preserves the angle between the elements of L is induced by either a unitary or an antiunitary operator on H. Let H be a Hilbert $C^*$-module over a matrix algebra A. It is proved that any function $T:H\to H$ which preserves the absolute value of the (generalized) inner product is of the form $Tf=\phi(f)Uf$ $(f\in H)$, where $\phi$ is a phase-function and U is an A-linear isometry.
