The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the group investigation type cooperative learning model in improving the science process skills of high school students in material elasticity. The research method used was quasi-experimental and the population used was class XI MIPA one of the public high schools in Tasikmalaya district and the sample used was class XI MIPA 4. The results of this study obtained an effect size value of 3.91 and categorized as high. The t-test of science process skills in students obtained tcount of 26.39 and ttable of 2.86 because tcount> ttable then Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that the group investigation type cooperative learning model was effective in improving the science process skills of high school students on the elasticity of the material.

Several inconsistent research results regarding the effect of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in enhancing Mathematical Abilities (MA) of primary school students have been reported widely by some researchers. To summarize, estimate, and evaluate the effect of PBL on MA of primary school students and investigate the study characteristics that provoked the heterogeneous effect size, a systematic review and meta-analysis was employed. Hedge's equation was employed to measure effect size using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software as an analysis tool. The synthesis of 16 relevant primary studies revealed that the overall implementation of PBL had a high positive effect (g = 1,050) significantly compared to conventional learning on MA of primary school students based on a random effect model. Moreover, the characteristics of the sampling technique, publication index, and MA significantly caused the heterogeneity of the effect size of PBL towards students' MA. Thus, these results suggest that primary school mathematics teachers should select PBL as one of the best solutions to enhance students' MA and consider the characteristics of students MA that will be improved. Besides, researchers should select random sampling as a sampling technique to select the sample and the literature indexed by Scopus as references to support the quality of research.

This study aims to: (1) investigate the effect of Jigsaw cooperative learning on students learning outcomes; (2) find the difference in learning outcomes between high and low learning motivation and (3) find the interaction between learning approaches and learning motivation towards learning outcomes. The population of the study is students of grade IVa, IVb, IVc at SD Kasih Ibu Patumbak and the sample in this study is grade IVa with 35 students and grade IVb with 35 students. The results show that: (1) the average student learning outcomes of jigsaw cooperative learning is 28.40 while conventional is 24.14. Thus, students learning outcomes that get cooperative learning of jigsaw type are higher than conventional learning, (2) Students who have high motivation get an average value = 30.74, while low motivation is 22.72. Thus, it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning outcomes having high learning motivation and low learning motivation, and (3) students learning outcomes taught by jigsaw cooperative learning are high learning motivation groups (32.94), and low learning motivation groups (24.58), while students taught with conventional learning are high learning motivation groups (28.40 ), and low motivation groups (20,95). Thus, there is no interaction between learning approaches and learning motivation towards learning outcomes.

Studi individu tentang efektivitas model project-based learning (PjBL) telah banyak dilakukan dengan hasil yang beragam. Namun sejauhmana karakteristik penelitian berperan dalam variasi hasil studi individu, belum diekplorasi. Sebagai upaya mengisi kekosongan tersebut maka penelitian meta-analysis ini dilakukan untuk menentukan efek keseluruhan model PjBL pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis, dan dilakukan mempertimbangkan peran moderator dalam mengimplemtasikannya lebih lanjut. Pencarian studi dilakukan pada rentang tahun 2014 hingga 2020 pada basis data ERIC, Google Schoolar dan IOP Publishing. Hasil pencarian memberikan dua belas studi yang memenuhi syarat inklusi untuk diekstraksi. Perhitungan menggunakan bantuan software CMA versi. 3.3, dan menggunakan model efek-acak sebagai metode estimasi. Sebagai hasil penelitian, diperoleh ukuran efek keseluruhan studi adalah 1,190 yang menunjukkan bahwa implementasi PjBL berdampak besar terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa. Selain itu, hasil analisis moderator berimplikasi pada implementasi PjBL dimasa depan. Keterbatasan penelitian dibahas sebagai ide dasar untuk penelitian selanjutnya

A student is a student who sits and is registered in one of the universities, both public and private, being a student is the dream of many students around the world and being a student is the starting gate to determine someone will be in the world of science in what field, be it computer science, medicine, world of education and others. However, there are many reasons why students decide to stop attending lectures suddenly due to several factors, both external and internal factors. This causes its own losses that will be faced by the campus, one of which is the reduction in the quantity of student data and resulting in data accumulation, it is necessary to predict students who have the potential to stop studying unilaterally by looking at several criteria and digging up information on the data of students who have the potential to quit college by applying the K-algorithm. NN. In this study, the K-NN algorithm records old data and sees similarities to new data in an effort to recognize patterns of students dropping out of college, the results obtained from new lecture data show that the data is similar to the old data of students who dropped out of college with the closest similarity of values from other cases, namely 17 .3815 with 19.98875 so that the results obtained by the new data student decision decided the possibility of dropping out of college

The experimental research is aimed to revealing the difference between science process through inquiry learning model and inquiry learning model with pictorial riddle method for student s in SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari academic year 2015/2016. The research design s is using pretest posttest control group design. The s ampl es were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The population is all students of SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari grade VIII, while the samples are the student s in VIII D class (experiment class 1) and VIII F class (experiment class 2). The instrument of this research is the science process skills test in form of reasoned multiple choice, which has been tested statistically it’s validity, reliability, discrimination index and level of difficulty of the item . The d ata analysed us ed independent sample t-test at significant level of 5 % with t count is 2,535 and t table is 1,671 because t coun > t table, , then H 0 is rejected and H a accepted. The result indicates that the re is a difference between science process through inquiry learning model and inquiry learning model with pictorial riddle method for student in SMP Negeri 1 Gunungsari academic year 2015/2016.

Factors that can influence learning include emotional intelligence, the environment and the discipline in which individuals carry out certain activities so that they can achieve maximum performance. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of emotional intelligence , environment and discipline on student achievement in Health Vocational School Visi Global in Banyuwangi Regency . In this study, the research design used was cross sectional . The study population was all students of Banyuwangi Health Vocational School Visi Global 117 students and a sample of 91 people using stratified random sampling . Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet and then analyzed using multiple linear regression test. The results showed that a significant probability of F value of 0.000

21st-century learning activities require higher order thinking skills including critical and creative thinking. High-level mathematical thinking skills are tools to train and improve higher order thinking skills in mathematics. This study aimed to produce products in the form of a high level mathematical thinking skills instrument of grade VIII based on Bloom's Taxonomy containing C4 (Analyze), C5 (Evaluate), and C6 (Creating) questions. Indicators of higher order thinking include analyzing, organizing, differentiating, and linking. Evaluating is judging, checking and criticizing. While creating is generalizing, designing, and producing. This research was conducted at three junior high schools in Jakarta that consisted of 41, 36 and 36 students respectively. The sample of this research was grade VIII students. The study was conducted during the even semester in 2017. Data collection method used higher order thinking skill test of the eight grade students then analyzed data with the calculation of validity, reliability, difficulty level, and discrimination power. The result showed that the instrument was valid, reliable, the difficulty level was moderate, and the discrimination power was moderate so the problems in this instrument could be used by teachers to measure students' high order thinking skills.

The purpose of this research is to produce learning materials of science bases on guided inquiry model intgrated with PhET media valid to excercise science process skills of Junior High School Student. The learning materials development model used is Research & Development (R&D) with ten steps are related. Learning materials that developed was validated by experts and try out II toward 30 students of VII grade students on academic year 2016/2017 by using One Group Pre-test and Post Test Design. The results of this research : 1) The validity of the materials is very valid category; 2) the realization of the lesson plan categorized very good with percentage 98%, students response towards the learning material, 3) student activities highest in the activity of doing experiments and perform tasks LKS, 4) implementation learning reaches over 80% categorized as very strong; and 5) the increase in science process skills with N-gain 0.80, high criteria. It was concluded that learning material of science bases on guided inquiry model intgrated with PhET media that developed is eligible for increasing Junior High School students science process skills.
