Introduction: The paper addresses a method to estimate the kinetic energy spent on deformations and the vehicle speed equivalent to such value during the reconstruction of road accidents. Purpose of the study: The study is aimed at improving coefficients used in the method and affecting the vehicle speed at the instant of a collision. Methods: The damage analysis algorithm measures the vehicle deformation to estimate the energy required to produce the measured vehicle damage, with regard to the principle of momentum conservation. Results: The stiffness coefficients used were developed long before the appearance of modern vehicles. Therefore, the authors propose to substitute the stiffness coefficients used for those considering modern trends in the automobile industry and ensuring much simpler and more direct calculation. It saves us the trouble to reduce experimental results to the formulation of force deflection and makes it possible to simulate damage behavior directly. The authors also describe the scope of application for the proposed coefficients, and restrictions of their use.

Introduction: The basic level of industry risk in the field of expert services remains unacceptably high due to the effect of a significant number of various factors. Purpose of the study: The authors study the influence of enterprise risk factors upon production digitalization in the field of expert services. Methods: The authors used content analysis for the software life cycle to assess the discount period for the net operating income of an enterprise upon the introduction of a system to evaluate the quality of developed software and switching to short iterations regarding sales. Results: Software implementation in the field of motor vehicle examination not only significantly improves the technical and economic performance of an expert organization but also complies with standards of business conduct in the information society in general.

Increase in the number of two-wheeled motor vehicles (motorcycles, vehicles of category L3) is observed in the traffic of almost all countries in the world. That is why the number of victims and people seriously injured in the road traffic accidents (RTA) has considerably increased. The majority of RTA is the result of many factors which form together sets of different causes and effects. Identification of actual reasons having led to a traffic accident, as well as their attendant circumstances, is one of the most important tasks in ensuring traffic safety. On the one hand, configurations of two-wheeled motor vehicles have been significantly improved over the last decades, so it is necessary to align the analytical apparatus of estimating parameters of the braking process with these configurations. On the other hand, the current practice of expert analysis and settlement of accidents still involves estimation of increase in braking time and steady deceleration of motorcycles manufactured domestically during the past years, which hardly participate in the modern traffic due to their age. Both of these circumstances require review and adjustment, as well as formation of an updated basis of estimate for assessment of braking processes of two-wheeled motor vehicles in order to increase the reliability of RTA examination and determine compliance or non-compliance of driver’s actions with the requirements of traffic rules, establish the causes of accidents, evaluate a technical capability of a driver of the two-wheeled motor vehicle to prevent the accident. Settlement of all these issues can be provided by effective methods of calculation (quantitative) assessment, which are not available at the present moment.

A system for the accounting of road infrastructure facilities' parameters specified during design and construction of motor roads. A study of parameters' condition was performed. Analysis of road accident rate statistics and identification of parameters to assess the efficiency of the proposed road construction activities aimed at the reduction in the number of road accidents were carried out. Actual data on condition parameters with the use of modern automated multi-functional diagnostic equipment were obtained. Actions aimed at the improvement of road infrastructure parameters through traffic safety enhancement, as well as actions aimed at the reconstruction of the motor road or project-supported construction of road segments were developed. Efficiency of the proposed actions was assessed.
