Aggressiveness, assertiveness, and sexual deviance: An empirical-quantitative examination of Stoller's perversion theoryObjectives: The main aim of the present study was to empirically examinate the psychodynamic-founded perversion theory of Robert D. Stoller (1979), particularly his assumption of a transformation of aggressive impulses into sexual deviant fantasies due to traumatic experiences. Methods: In the present study different aspects of the theory were examined by using a sample (N = 954) of individuals convicted of sexually motivated offenses who had been clinically and forensically assessed between 2002 and 2018 at the Federal Evaluation Centre for Violent and Sexual Offenders (FECVSO) in the Austrian Prison System. As a part of the psychological testing procedure, German-speaking questionnaires for the assessment of aggressiveness and assertiveness were applied. Results: The results indicated that participants with a diagnosis of paraphilia showed significantly less spontaneously expressed aggression and less social competence compared to individuals without such a diagnosis. Conclusions: The findings of the present study are in line with the core assumptions of Stoller's perversion theory by demonstrating an inverse relationship between the diagnosis of paraphilia and self-reported aggression.

The high rate of violence, abuse and sexual perversion among children in Indonesia is increasingly worrying. Sexual education has not yet been included in the academic curriculum in elementary or high schools in Indonesia. Sexual education is still thematic and conducted when meeting the right moment that is not planned. The purpose of this study is to increase knowledge about sexual problem prevention behavior for children using serial card education media. This is a quasi-experimental study to increase the sexual knowledge among respondents by using serial card as education media. Study was conducted in October 2020 to 53 students of 6th grade (11-13 years old) of SDN 36 Gunung Sarik that chosen with purposive sampling. The paired data hypothesis analysis (paired t-test) results obtained from the pre-test and post-test for students showed that sexual education using serial card media was effective in increasing students' knowledge of preventive behavior from various risks of violence, harassment, and sexual perversion.Â

This paper intends to analyse the current political and social situation in Brazil and show how this context has influenced the management of the public health crisis generated by the COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, the authors conducted an investigation into Brazil's historical roots, which have not only engendered deep class differences but, also, social psychopathologies such as dissociation and perversion. Finally, this paper presents a symbolic analysis of social exclusion and how the mythical figure of Sophia can inspire a renewed movement of inclusion and tolerance.Cet article se propose d’analyser la situation politique et sociale actuelle au Brésil et de montrer comment ce contexte a influencé la gestion de la crise sanitaire publique générée par la COVID-19. Introducción. El presente trabajo analiza los orígenes del gimnasio moderno durante el siglo XIX, período de edificación de los sistemas gimnásticos. Durante este período, la mujer occidental accede gradualmente al uso de las prácticas gimnásticas, ya desde la apariencia educativa, higiénica o recreativa. Objetivos. El objeto de estudio es el de descubrir, en el caso concreto de España, los discursos expresados por los poderes de la masculinidad que hicieron del gimnasio y de las prácticas gimnásticas un dispositivo de feminización. Metodología. La metodología utilizada es de base historicista y se concreta por un tratamiento documentalista, el análisis de contenido de los textos y, además, la revisión de otros estudios que facilitan la interpretación contextual. Resultados. Se concluye argumentando que el proceso de incorporación de la mujer decimonónica en las prácticas gimnásticas estuvo condicionado por los discursos subyacentes del patriarcado de la masculinidad, que ocultaban los temores de una sociedad que creían en decadencia. Discusión. En el gimnasio del siglo XIX el cuerpo femenino se convertía en un ente vigilado por el dominio del hombre que buscaba la salud de la mujer para proteger la descendencia. Con lo cual, el gimnasio se configuró como un centro de dominación facultativo en donde el cuerpo femenino se sometía al examen articulándose una perversión ontológica de la realidad femenina. Introduction. The nineteenth century is the period when the gymnastics systems were constructed. Western women were gradually included in the gymnastic practices, be they educational, hygienic or recreational. Objectives. The aim of this study is to discover the discourses by the powers of masculinity that made the gymnasium and the gymnastic practices a device for feminisation, specifically in the case of Spain. Methodology. A historicist methodology is used, specifically using a documentalist process, text analysis, and also a review of other studies which offer a contextual interpretation. Results. The paper concludes by arguing that the process of including nineteenth century women in gymnastic practices was conditioned by the underlying discourses of masculinity, which hid the fears of a society that they believed was in decline. Discussion. In the gymnasium of the 19th century, the female body became an entity guarded by the dominion of men who sought the health of women to protect their offspring. With this, the gymnasium was configured as a facultative domination center where the female body was subjected to examination, articulating an ontological perversion of the female reality.

Resumo: O presente ensaio aborda alguns aspectos da temática das perversões e seu arcabouço teórico-clínico. Inicialmente, parte-se de uma revisão bibliográfica dos textos freudianos sobre as perversões e sua íntima imbricação com o sexual em sua obra. Em seguida, serão analisadas as contribuições teóricas de Robert Stoller sobre a clínica das perversões e sua conceitualização como forma erótica do ódio. Procura-se apontar como as inovações teóricas de Stoller possibilitaram uma nova forma de compreensão na clínica das perversões. Conclui- se que as observações clínicas feitas por Freud e, posteriormente, Stoller ecoam na contemporaneidade, demonstrando a inovação e ousadia conceitual de ambos os autores.Palavras-chave: Perversão. Erotização do ódio. Sexualidade. Conceito.Abstract: This essay addresses some aspects of the theme of perversions and their theoretical-clinical framework. Initially, it starts with a bibliographic review of Freudian texts on perversions and their intimate overlap with the sexual in his work. Then, Robert Stoller ́s theoretical contributions on the clinic of perversions and their conceptualization as an erotic from of hatred will be analyzed. It seeks to point out how Stoller ́s theoretical innovations enable a new form of understanding in the clinic of perversions. It is concluded that the clinical observations made by Freud and, later, Stoller echo in contemporary times, demonstrating the innovation and conceptual boldness of both authors. I investigate the possibility that in order to reach truly disturbed parts of the patient's mind, the analyst also may need to mobilise similar areas in his own psyche. I examine the part musicality might contribute to this well-known idea, that is, I consider what is set off in the analyst's mind by the changing qualities of the actual music of the analytic couple's voices, and also by the musical events that occur in response in the analyst's mind. The term perversion is particularly used to explore the perverse qualities of the musical countertransference. I propose that these primal musical processes are ubiquitous, taking place at a fundamental psychic level before images or words are formed. I re-examine Isaacs' (1948) theory that the images of unconscious phantasy are the most archaic expression of the drives, and suggest that the music of unconscious phantasy may assert its prior claim in this regard, the infant's ability to form images deriving from this prior musical capacity. I propose that the words - a much later development - that are then uttered by the analytic couple can be thought of as the text in which the mind attempts to describe what is already occurring musically at the level of the drives and unconscious phantasy. I suggest that many operas offer a paradigm of this process, and offer a helpful way for analysts to think about verbal communication, both interpersonal and intrapsychic.

Este artículo nos muestra la evolución del marketing político. Desde el modelo 1.0, hasta la consolidación del nuevo paradigma 3.0. Llegando a quedar demostrada la perversión del modelo del markteing 3.0 debido al uso que los partidos políticos hacen de las narrativas presentes en la posverdad como una forma de aumentar su fidelización con el ciudadano, luego electorado, mediante la construcción de mensajes hiperbólicos y segmentados. Se partió del siguiente objetivo general: analizar si la consolidación del modelo marketing político 3.0 y su uso por parte de los partidos políticos españoles, se vio afectado por la utilización de narrativas de propias de la posverdad. La metodología de trabajo utilizada fue la cualitativa y analítica comparativa. Se hicieron uso de los siguientes instrumentos: la observación directa, las entrevistas, el panel de expertos y la revisión documental. Las conclusiones alcanzadas, así como el trabajo que aquí se presenta, es el resultado de dos investigaciones complementarias: La aplicación del marketing político 3.0. El caso del éxito de Podemos y Ciudadanos en las elecciones de 2014,2015 y 2016 y Marketing político 3.0: Como Podemos, Ciudadanos y Vox han cambiado las reglas del juego. Los resultados que pudimos extraer se resumen en: (1) Todos los partidos políticos españoles han incorporado de la posverdad a sus discursos favoreciendo: polarización, radicalización y enemigos invisibles. (2) La intensidad y el volumen de los mensajes condicionados por los partidos políticos españoles dependen del público que quieran captar. (3) La co-creación y la construcción de mensajes ilusionantes, ha sido sustituido por una construcción distópica centrada en la “búsqueda del culpable”.

Objective: The main tasks of this study are as follows: to substantiate the interdependence of perversion as a form of violence and the human ego in the context of hybrid warfare; to prove the existence of perversion as a form of violence against a person in the context of hybrid warfare in Ukraine (personal perversion); to describe the alteration of ego states as conditions for effective human self-regulatory activity in the context of hybrid warfare. Background: Hybrid warfare, including the Ukrainian-Russian conflict, as a phenomenon, has been widely studied both abroad and in Ukraine. However, there are very few works on the psychological impact of such a war. There are currently no works on disorders of human self-regulatory activity in the context of hybrid warfare, which makes the study unique and relevant. Method: The study used a combination of various methods, in particular, structural-clinical interviews, psychological counseling and therapeutic meetings, data analysis. Data were collected for 2014-2020. The total number of participants was 55 people aged 25 to 63 years, with 70% female and 30% male. Results: The latent tension and denial of hybrid warfare result in a gradual increase of neurotization, which is in 95% of cases passes into a neurosis state with concomitant manifestations of symptoms. There is also a deterioration in psychological well-being and phylogenetic disorders (erogenous dysfunction in men, uncontrolled neurotic masturbation in women). Disorders of the mental level of self-regulation determine the manifestation of the mental content of perversion, in which perversion takes on the character of intrapersonal functioning. Conclusion: The combination of disorders of the physical, mental and personal levels of the self-regulatory activity of the psyche increased perverse tendencies in social and political life, which provoked a high rate of psychotization of the entire society and an increase in deficit characterological manifestations of each individual.

This article analyses the slippery notions of the normal and normality in select works of Richard von Krafft-Ebing (1840–1902) and Sigmund Freud (1856–1939) and argues that homosexuality became a ‘boundary object’ between the normal and the abnormal in their works. Constructing homosexuality as ‘normal enough’ provided these two key thinkers of the fin de siècle with an opportunity to challenge societal and medical norms: Krafft-Ebing did this through mapping perversions; Freud, by challenging perceived norms about sexual development more broadly. The article submits that the scientific logic presented in Krafft-Ebing’s seminal case study compilation Psychopathia Sexualis and Freud’s early theoretical writings and cases, including Three Essays on the Theory of Sexuality (1905), was itself haunted by notions of norms and the normal that were not always easy to resolve, and sometimes involved a certain amount of inspired conjecture on the part of both thinkers in order to develop and validate their differing tripartite models of normality. Krafft-Ebing imagined homosexuality as a variation of the normal by generalizing a gay male experience. He also recorded the obstreperous cases of homosexual women based largely inside the clinic but by and large ignored this evidence. Freud inextricably bound homosexuality to normality (and vice versa) by redefining homosexuals as a group to include individuals with unconscious same-sex desire. Doing so allowed him to conceptualize the fear of homosexuality as crucial in the formation of neurosis and psychosis, and at the same time put him at odds with relevant early identity politics.

2020 ushered in the convergence of multiple societal, political, environmental, and health crises. Racial reckoning collided with fearmongering on a national scale and punitive policies targeted non-citizens simultaneous to the global health pandemic COVID-19. COVID-19 required the unexpected pivoting from in-person instruction to what was, for most, an uncharted total reliance on virtual and remote delivery (Lederman 2020). The complexities of crafting content across multiple modalities amid national and global turmoil meant that curricular creativity became paramount (Mishra et. al, 2020). I will begin by discussing why comic books were an ideal medium and how I used them in the midst of curricular and sociopolitical upheaval. Next, I will describe lessons inspired by the issue of the comic book El peso hero, titled The Essentials, that were effective to broach politicized topics in class, such as the essentiality of migrant labor, immigration categories, contradictions between labels and policies, and racialized political rhetoric. Finally, to demonstrate how pictorial storytelling lent itself to internalize and eventually narrate what Landis et al. (2008) refer to as “difficult dialogues,” I will highlight examples of multi- and single-panel visuals created by students.

Edukasi seksual belum masuk ke dalam kurikulum akademik di sekolah dasar ataupun sekolah menengah di Indonesia. Edukasi seksual masih bersifat tematik dan diberikan saat bertemu momen tepat yang tidak terencana. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang perilaku pencegahan masalah seksual bagi anak dengan media edukasi kartu berseri. Kegiatan dilakukan di SDN 36 Gunung Sarik Padang, pada 54 siswa kelas 6. Metode kegiatan ini terbagi atas beberapa tahapan, yaitu brainstorming dengan pihak sekolah, pengembangan media edukasi kartu berseri, diseminasi media kartu berseri kepada pihak sekolah, dan edukasi seksual dengan media kartu berseri kepada siswa. Hasil uji hipotesis data berpasangan yang diperoleh dari pre-test dan post-test kepada siswa/siswi menunjukkan bahwa edukasi seksual dengan media kartu berseri efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang perilaku pencegahan dari berbagai risiko masalah kekerasan, pelecehan, dan penyimpangan seksual. Thirty years on, this essay reworks the notion of distanciation by asking: what if we cannot decide whether the unnatural behavior of characters on screen is the product of Brechtian alienation or of the character’s own perversion, but rather is caused by both (and therefore neither)? To chart the transition between orthodox and “perverse” Brechtianisms, this essay compares a film by a director whose melodramas are often read as examples of Brechtian cinema, Douglas Sirk’s All That Heaven Allows (1955), and a film by a contemporary director whose work is often misread as the very thing it satirizes, Paul Verhoeven’s Elle (2016). The written work hereby presented is the result of cognitive development within the course of study for the Psychoanalysis and Psychopathology subject area of the Faculty of Psychology of the UNR corresponding to thematic unit III “The perverse struc-ture and the pere-versions”. Based on one of the pillar texts, “A Child is Being Beaten,” we interrogate the drive (Trieb) and ghosting articulation, that is, the perverse-polymorphous sexuality and the remaining enigmas regarding perversion as a structure. As a result of reading the text we will place the ghost as a support of desire underlining the enjoyment it implies and the possible fates in its articulation your articulation to the drive (Trieb). Looking beyond the notorious “Brideshead” aesthetes and homoeroticism of 1920s Oxford, this article explores the queer sensibilities of the university's male undergraduates and their associates through the 1930s. Steadily through the decade, Oxford's unique brand of queer aestheticism and same-sex love affairs became embroiled with wider debates about the hegemony of socialism and communism and the supposed degeneracy of standards at Oxford. At the same time, the assimilation of medicalized concepts of perversion and homosexuality increasingly made Oxford's aesthetes and same-sex love affairs objects of critical scrutiny, effeminophobia, and homophobia. For many of the university's queer male undergraduates, the Oxford University Dramatic Society provided a safe haven and a platform for queer expression both in Oxford and beyond. A group of images by the Russian émigré photographer Cyril Arapoff provides further insights into the male homoerotics of 1930s Oxford. Situated within the context of Arapoff's life in the city between 1933 and 1939, his extraordinary photographs of nude and seminude young men offer glimpses into the queer lives and loves at Oxford in a period when such experiences were rarely articulated in written form. The images include the spaces the young men inhabited and their interconnections to London's vibrantly queer dance and theater scene. Such insights help establish more firmly interwar Oxford as an important hub of queer modernism, with national and international import for the course of modern queer history.

Fyodor Sologub's tale of crazed sinfulness, The Petty Demon, has remained in the heart of Russian culture since its introduction in 1907, leaving what can best be described as an appreciated scar. The greatest Byronic tales utilize the acceptance of decadence to create complex characters that allow audiences to peer into the darker side of humanity, and often themselves, while still maintaining some emotional connection to the antihero. While the depravity displayed in The Petty Demon is often the most prominent feature, the contrasted relationships of the characters Lyudmila and Peredonov reveal key insights toward understanding of the novel's thematic and socioemotional framing of women and the mentally ill. These patterns are analyzed in the context of the novel and compared to those in other works of the Russian canon with the help of papers by Hustis, Mills, and Greene. Lyudmilla's few unsatisfactory and foreign excuses for her perversion fail to help her escape the sexist symbolism she embodies as a female character, resulting in her solidification as a gossiping temptress with little room for reader empathy or a separation from the basic stereotypes women were already saddled with. Peredonov's escalating madness is contrasted against her evils in a manner that accentuates her follies while failing to separate many of his cruel actions from his mental illness. The resulting feelings coalesce to project the characters' worst qualities upon the innocent and underprivileged through the vehicles of familiar archetypes, contributing to the perpetuation of harmful cultural perspectives on such groups.

The indigenous hymnology has experienced a lot of tonality distortion in Nigeria due to the direct translation of Western hymn tunes to the indigenous hymns. Different scholars have identified this act of perversion, but little or no documentation can be found on the method(s) that can be used in correcting this perverse act. The focus of this paper is on Yoruba hymnody. In this light, the paper examines and discuss the abnormality found in Yoruba indigenous hymns, through an analytical content of three selected indigenous Yoruba hymns and propounds methods and implementation strategies towards correcting the aforementioned act of perversion. Findings revealed that most of the indigenous hymns had been distorted in meaning due to the deformation of the indispensable Yoruba tone language. The paper discusses and draws out specific lessons that would serve as channels and even methods for consideration during composition, especially by Nigerian art composers. Tackling this challenge from a unanimous perspective, the effort will address the articulation and use of tonal inflexions in Yoruba Nigerian hymns.

Este texto é resultado do trabalho de duas conferências proferidas no Fórum do Campo Lacaniano de Fortaleza, em fevereiro de 2019, na ocasião de abertura dos seminários sobre topologia. No primeiro momento, Bernard Nominé falou sobre o encontro de Lacan com o nó borromeano e suas repercussões na psicanálise, apontando questões teóricas antes mal-entendidas que puderam ser reenlaçadas ao longo de sua prática. Depois, o autor se deteve à relação do nó borromeano com a escrita da clínica, lembrando-nos que nossas categorias de neurose, psicose e perversão muitas vezes não são suficientes para extrair a lógica de determinados casos. Assim, apresenta-se a necessidade de se conhecer o manejo da cadeia borromeana, suas principais falhas, consequências e reparações possíveis. Para tanto, é preciso ir adiante naquilo que o autor denomina de “solfejo do nó”.

Este trabajo de investigación buscó detectar las tendencias a la transgresión de normas basada en 14 muestras de adultos que estudian en el 10mo curso de educación primaria de la jornada nocturna en un colegio fiscal de la ciudad de Guayaquil – Ecuador. Se hizo énfasis en la teoría médico-psiquiátrica y en el psicoanálisis. El primer encuadre acuña el constructo de trastorno de la personalidad antisocial cuyas tendencias son: ser dramáticos; mantenimiento de relaciones interpersonales superficiales, además de conflictivas de modo superlativo; problemas con las normas morales o la ley. El siguiente encuadre fue el psicoanalítico que, desde el constructo de perversión, donde el sujeto goza poniendo como objeto al otro dentro de una relación asimétrica de poder. Se utilizó el Protocolo Invertido de Alertas Gráficas© para la detección de sujetos transgresores de normas en la evaluación grafológica donde se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: invasión de espacio ajeno, problemas para acatar órdenes de la autoridad, estallidos de irritabilidad como respuesta a la baja tolerancia a situaciones frustrantes o estresoras, ideas confusas cuya consecuencia sea el tener comportamientos difíciles o complejos, abandonar las tareas si no obtienen resultados rápidos y no asumir la responsabilidad de los actos, delegándola a terceros. A contemporary definition of perversion is offered that aims to reveal a form of psychic functioning as a quality of being toward others in the external world, translating to a mode of relating toward internal objects, and/or a mode of relating toward one's body as an object. This quality of being is contrasted with perversion denoting a specific set of behaviors, as in classical conceptualizations. Two schematics illustrate healthy and perverse phenomenological positions (i.e. identifiable within the person's preconscious or conscious perspective and experience). These positions highlight ways in which perverse modes of experiencing can be depicted, by use of internal psychic positions and the extent to which these are integrated, interpenetrate one another or are truncated and foreclosed. In particular, a perverse internal psychic mode is proposed where affective, embodied, and pre-reflective self-experience is split off or dissociated. The case of Laura is offered as an illustration of a perverse mode of being and a perverse relationship to her body. I also suggest that perverse modes of relating towards others (primarily through objectification) is more common in males whereas the objectification of one's body is more common in females.

What transgression represents for them? Based on clinical experience in a correctional center, this article takes a closer look about prisoner, incarcerated after having committed criminal acts. This clinical material could help to raise a new perspective around modern psychopathology. What is the act's difference between neurosis, perversion, borderline and psychosis? Our research will try to differentiate the psychic issues.

This short article explores the relationship between sexual perversion, as defined by Estela Welldon and illustrated by the late architect and author, Martin Frishman, and the work of the nineteenth-century artist, Aubrey Beardsley. It primarily argues that in both the acting out of sexual perversion and the creation of illustrations considered perverse, there is a shared desire to transform the experience of shame into the experience of fame. In the perpetrating of a perverse sexual offence, the assault can be regarded as an uncontrollable compelling urge for immediate action. Despite knowing this action is wrong, the offender cannot resist the impulse. The action of the assault offers immediate relief from unbearable anxiety and ultimately transfigures shame, however briefly, into fame. In the creation of sexualised and scandalous drawings, it is argued that the feeling of shame is sublimated, and the desire for fame is achieved without the destructive and perverse use of violence. It contemplates how Beardsley’s provocative drawings, in particular his illustrations for Aristophanes’ play Lysistrata, may have influenced the aesthetic of Frishman’s images explaining perversion as a manic defence against depression. Lastly, it considers the way in which unconscious societal prejudice may lead to confusion between sexual perversion and sexual difference.

This article refers to the political risks that a group of five parishioners, members of an aristocratic Catholic parish located in Santiago, Chile, had to face when they recovered and discovered unconscious meanings about the hard and persistent psychological and sexual abuse they suffered in that religious organisation. Recovering and discovering meanings, from the collective memory of that parish, was a sort of conversion event in the five parishioners that determined their decision to bring to the surface of Chilean society the knowledge that the parish, led by the priest Fernando Karadima, functioned as a perverse organisation. That determination implied that the five individuals had to struggle against powerful forces in society, including the dominant Catholic Church in Chile and the political influences from the conservative Catholic elite that attempted to ignore the existence of the abuses that were denounced. The result of this article explains how the five parishioners, through their concerted political actions and courage, forced the Catholic Church to recognise, in an ambivalent way, the abuses committed by Karadima. The theoretical basis of this presentation is based on a socioanalytical approach that mainly considers the understanding of perversion in organisations and their consequences in the control of anxieties.

This article will illustrate sadomasochistic dynamics as they arise within the consulting room and highlight the main function of perversions. Although the term “perversion” can be considered outdated, or worse, pejorative, if used in its original meaning, it remains the most appropriate term to describe the plight of certain patients who suffer from a specific sexualised form of acting out. One aim of the perversion is to attempt to reverse an earlier trauma by turning that passive experience, often not consciously remembered, into an active one. The patient suffering from a perversion replaces unwanted or unbearable historical affects with current actions that are sadomasochistic, sexually exciting, and highly gratifying, albeit temporarily, thereby keeping the patient’s mind far away from the desolation of the initial trauma. At times, the actions patients are driven to for survival are paradoxically life-threatening. I will briefly refer to the difficulties of the countertransference in working with perverse patients.

A conceptual evolution is traceable from early modern classifications of libido nefanda (execrable lust) to early nineteenth-century allusions to ‘perversion of the sexual instinct’, via pluralizing notions of coitus nefandus/sodomiticus in Martin Schurig’s work, and of sodomia impropria in seventeenth- through late eighteenth-century legal medicine. Johann Valentin Müller’s early breakdown of various unnatural penchants seemingly inspired similar lists in works by Johann Christoph Fahner and Johann Josef Bernt, and ultimately Heinrich Kaan. This allows an ante-dating of the ‘specification of the perverted’ (Foucault) often located in the late nineteenth century, and appreciation of pygmalionism and necrophilia as instances of ‘perverted sexual instinct’. In this light, Kaan’s early psychopathia sexualis was less innovative and more ambivalent than previously thought.

Purpose As the clamour within the drug treatment field in the UK – and throughout much of Europe – increases, leading agencies are arguing for a review of the current legislation and a change in focus away from criminal justice and towards a more public health understanding of addiction. Therapeutic communities have found themselves united with many drug users-led campaigns to argue for a wholesale restructuring of the legislative, policy and funding arrangements which recognises the role of recovery-oriented interventions within the mix. Given these on-going debates, it is perhaps useful to understand how the current arrangements were established [1]. Design/methodology/approach In 1850s, the sale of opium – like alcohol – was largely unregulated. It was widely used, in a variety of preparations, by all classes for medical and non-medical purposes. A pennyworth of opium was as likely (perhaps more likely) as a pound of potatoes to find its way into the weekly shopping basket. Findings By the 1920s, the Fu Manchu novels of Sax Rohmer – with their tales of innocent English virgins being seduced into crime and sexual perversion by an evil Chinese genius who lurked within the opium dens of Edwardian Britain – had redefined opium as a drug of the outside, the deadly, an agent in the enslavement of innocence. Originality/value This dramatic change was largely brought about by the introduction of an array of new medications and a move away from traditional “herbal” remedies. This change was accelerated by the experiences of the First World War and underpinned by the print media and laid the foundations of the legislation and policy of the present day.

In modern reality, exist an intersection between hermeneutic applications based on the motivation of war and peace. The existence of subjective hermeneutics is identical as a breakdown in every difference but the fact that it raise chaos ignores the interpretation of synonymity change into regressive sophistic interpretation. The purpose of this research is to place subjective hermeneutics as a study of the free interpretation of sophia claims discipline (wise) with the assumption that it gives birth to renewable ethical polarization and also progressive. This research is a library that is used to answer specific problems directly that raises the perspective of truth claims of interpretation that is different from the old interpretations. The results showed that subjective hermeneutics should conciliate collaborations of narrative (haggadic interpretations), prescribed ways of life (halakhic rules) and (meaningholders of early texts (masoretic sources). But subjective hermeneutics propagates authoritative hermeneutics that distinguishes between original (competent) meanings and non-original (non-competent) meanings. Syaḥrûr through subjective hermeneutics uses perversion (taḥrîf method) from the word in Qur’an such as lawful ownership (milk yamîn), solemn convenant (mîthâq), adultery (zinâ) and illegal sexual intercouse (fawâḥiṡ) to initiate non-marital marriages.

El presente artículo postula que el diálogo feminismo psicoanálisis en torno a la maternidad debe abordarse en un contexto que historice los conceptos y las discusiones en juego. Plantea el lugar de ‘reverso’ del psicoanálisis en relación a las ciencias de la cultura. En ese sentido puntúa en diversos autores el ‘olvido del inconsciente’ al que han acudido para pensar problemáticas socio-culturales, o incurrido en lecturas psicologistas o simplistas de la problemática fálica para enfrentar al psicoanálisis con el feminismo. Por último caracteriza a la maternidad, que más allá de estar determinada por una ideológica ‘maternalista’ ser una práctica de crianza, se considera como una experiencia libidinal y un modo de goce que abre a la problemática muchas veces velada, de la perversión específicamente femenina.

After the publication of his pioneering book Sexual Excitement in 1979, Robert Stoller devoted the last 12 years of his life to the study of the pornographic film industry. To do so, he conducted an ethnographic study of people working in the industry in order to find out how it produced ‘perverse fantasies’ that successfully communicated sexual excitement to other people. In the course of his investigation he observed and interviewed those involved in the making of pornographic films. He hypothesized that the ‘scenarios’ developed and performed by people in the porn industry were based on their own perverse fantasies and their frustrations, injuries and conflicts over sexuality and gender; and that the porn industry had developed a systematic method and accumulated a sophisticated body of knowledge about the production of sexual excitement. This paper explores Stoller's theses and shows how they fared in his investigation.

Historically, the topic of Russian information occupation in the post-Soviet space is not well understood. The research conducted by the author suggests that the Russian Federation actively used information and propaganda levers of influence on the population of the peninsula, which became vulnerable to Russian propaganda due to the high level of confidence of information received from Russian radio and television channels, a wide broadcast of Russian content on Ukrainian channels, a small amount of Ukrainian content, alternative sources of information. Emphasizes the key role of the information component of the hybrid threat. The nature of the destructive influence of the information policy of the Russian Federation on the population of the peninsula is considered. During the latent phase of preparation for annexation, there was a powerful propaganda influence not only on the inhabitants of Crimea, but also on the citizens of the Russian Federation, and the long-lasting and large-scale measures of informational and psychological character preceded the direct invasion. The directions of formation of public opinion on the legitimacy of the incorporation of the ARC by the Russian Federation and the facts of the perversion of events and manipulation of the minds of Crimeans at the beginning of 2014 are analyzed.
