Abstract

B Background: b Mesothelioma of the peritoneum (PM) is a rare disease with high morbidity and mortality. In our group, a 4-stage protocol has been proposed and we aim to evaluate morbidity, overall survival (OS) and disease-free survival (DFS) associated with CRS + HIPEC in PM. Neoadjuvant chemotherapy with pemetrexed + carboplatin in all patients, 2. cisplatin + doxorubicin based CCR + HIPEC, 3. paclitaxel based early postoperative intraperitoneal chemotherapy (EPIC), 4. adjuvant bidirectional chemotherapy with intraperitoneal pemetrexed and intravenous cisplatin.
