Abstract

The article discusses the different manufacturing processes for clad pipes and plates. It mentions that the formation of the bond between the cladding and backing at the interface is obtained by cladding's metallurgical bonding and backing material at high pressure and temperature with the roll-bonding process. The explosion-bond cladding process obtains a metallurgical bond with the detonation force of an explosive charge.
