The paper outlines a phenomenological description of the meaning and moral significance of vulnerability. Such a description begins with a negative characterization in accordance with the contributions to the phenomenology of the body found in the works of Edmund Husserl and Ludwig Landgrebe, to advance at a later stage to the phenomenological characterization of the notion of the individuation of harm in relation to what Heidegger calls "the harmful" in his description of the affective disposition of fear. The exposure to harm that reveals the anticipatory understanding of fear in relation to the harmful, not explicitly thematized by Heidegger, is what we refer to here, in a broad sense as vulnerability. In the second moment I will present a positive characterization of vulnerability in relation to two levels of the formation of axiological meaningfulness. As we shall see, vulnerability, including bodily vulnerability, points to an understanding of exposure to being wounded as a guideline to follow in the reconstruction of axiological meaning revealed through affective life, in accordance with Husserl's programmatic indications. In this sense, it is necessary to refer more specifically to the place of trust, and its essential relationship with vulnerability, in the formation of the meaning of values, in particular, of moral value. ETHICS , *VALUES (Ethics) , *DIALECTIC , *CONSTRUCTIVISM (Education) , *CONSTRUCTIVISM (Philosophy) - Abstract
The article aims to show that Hegel's critique of Kantian Moral Philosophy, based on Rawls' interpretation, must be revised in some aspects, such as: the application of the categorical imperative; the problem of formalism and Kant's moral constructivism itself. A reconstruction of the main aspects of Rawlsian interpretation of Kant's practical Philosophy is necessary, considering Hegel's critique. This is explained in view of the advances it represents within a dialectical perspective and the possible repairs that can be made to it. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
In this article, we analyze how the military authorities built and tried to impose the moral value of "sacrifice" among the conscripts sent to the Operation Independence. We wonder how was the moral code that sought to guide and condition the praxis of the soldiers built? Through which metaphors, institutional mandates, meanings and practices were the moral value of "sacrifice" encouraged? How was this emotional and moral legitimacy produced so that the soldiers were willing to give their lives in a context of political repression? To this end, we revisit some classics of anthropological theory on sacrifice, gift and debt, particularly Marcel Mauss, Henri Hubert as well as the rereading on them proposed by maurice Godelier (1998). Impelled by the problems of corruption and dishonesty experienced in our country, the intention of this paper is to discuss the reasons that lead the human being to such behavior and the possible ways to mitigate this conduct. We chose the honesty value to be the object of research and describe the contributions of this moral value in the construction of autonomy and in the formation of the Child character. We conducted an analysis based on the psychogenetic perspective, addressing the main aspects of moral development, according to Piaget (1932/1994), and other theorists who investigated how honesty can be rationally taught and built in a cooperative and democratic way. The intervention research with a qualitative approach was applied in the initial years, containing three phases: (1) Pre-test, (2) Intervention Program and (3) Post-test. The results showed that, after the intervention program, the children disapproved of dishonesty and associated their conceptions with several immoral aspects already known, such as: theft, cheating and lying.

This study addresses the space of the human inclinations within the Practical Philosophy of Kant, and to observe how the education, according to the kantian view, is placed in this question. We aim to address the theme of human inclinations (sensations, passions, appetites), particularly, in the works Foundations of the Metaphysics of Morals and Critique of Practical Reason. Later, seeking possible relationships with the remarks made by Kant about ambient of the inclinations on lectures On Education. An attempt to first highlight the complementarity of the works which constitute the practical philosophy of Kant (in view of its architecture, arrangement and division) and, second, to face the claim that Kant's moral philosophy requires the entire removal of the inclinations (of any inclination) so that man's actions have an authentic moral value. Accordingly, there is the Kantian moral while rigorous, insensitive or empty. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The aim of this article is twofold: 1) to document the design of an innovative teaching sequence that links problems related to the concept of piecewise function with questions involving moral dilemmas; 2) to analyze how middle school students (17-18 years old) establish a relationship between the mathematical concept and specific moral values when responding to the dilemmas. The methodology used was drawn on considerations of a socio-formal approach to the learner. The analysis was made on the basis of students' written and spoken discourse during the classroom. Results indicate that, in responding to dilemmas, students manage to manipulate the concept of piecewise function not only in terms of its mathematical meaning, but also of its moral value. We conclude that the didactic sequence may help to organize a more comprehensive teaching for mathematics students.

This article is an analysis of the discussion between Schiller and Kant about duty and inclination in Schiller’s «On Grace and Dignity», Kant’s «Religion Within the Limits of Reason Alone» and a letter of Schiller to Kant on this topic. The article shows that Schiller’s and Kant’s conceptions are essentially different. With Kant there could be no theoretical connection between duty and inclination for systematic reasons, whereas Schiller thought it was the case. But Kant and Schiller had great respect for each other; they did not consider their differences as important. Each tried to understand the other from the viewpoint of the latter’s theories, and insisted principally on the agreements between their respective theories.

The study aims at approaching the duty concept (Sollen) within Kant´s moral philosophy. Taking into account the notion of moral duty as one of the central concepts in (and to) Kant's practical thought, and in an attempt to offer an elucidation of Kant’s quest (and development) by the supreme principle of moral – the fundaments of the moral value´s detaining action, we will investigate: i) what characterizes one action for duty, in Kant’s moral thought and, ii) why exactly, according to Kant, just the action, precisely for duty, is the only action with the genuine value, namely, the moral value. The work seeks to affi rm the affections that Dietrich von Hildebrand included under the concept of “heart” can be reduced to a series of intermediate events between the intellect and will. The work refers only to intentional or spiritual affections and not strictly to the passions and emotions. In this context, the author argues that the moral value is conducting its demand feature, which can be seen at the time of valuation, at the time of moral practical judgment, where affections are important. But these inclinations can be partially explained rationally when approached from the standpoint of understanding and will.

Nesse sentido, tem-se a moral kantiana enquanto rigorosa, insensível ou vazia., This study addresses the space of the human inclinations within the Practical Philosophy of Kant, and to observe how the education, according to the kantian view, is placed in this question.
