The article presents an interview with authors Evelyn Murphy and E. J. Graff about wage equality between men and women. According to them, women earn approximately 77 cents for every dollar men earn for comparable work based on a methodology developed by the Institute for Women's Policy Research in Washington, D.C. Graff discussed the accuracy of reports about the opt-out generation and other coverage of women and work. Murphy claims that media coverage plays a big role in reinforcing stereotypes and perpetuating workplace sex discrimination.
