Bu araştırmanın ana amacı, mobil öğrenme ortamları ile desteklenen ters yüz edilmiş sanal sınıf modelinin gitar eğitiminde nasıl kullanılacağına dair bir örnek oluşturmaktır. Bu genel amaç kapsamında, mobil öğrenme ortamları ile desteklenen ters yüz edilmiş sanalsınıf modeli ile yapılan gitar öğretiminin, öğrencilerin performans becerilerini ve ünite kazanımlarını gerçekleştirme durumlarını nasıl etkilediğini ortaya koymaktır. Bunun yanında uygulama sürecine yönelik araştırmacı ve öğrenci görüşlerinin belirlenmesi de amaçlar arasındadır. Bu araştırma, mobil öğrenme ortamları ile desteklenen ters yüz edilmiş sanal sınıf modelinin gitar eğitiminde kullanılmasına yönelik bir çalışmadır. Eylem araştırması olarak desenlenen araştırmada, mobil öğrenme ortamları ile desteklenen ters yüz edilmiş sanal sınıf modelinin gitar eğitiminde kullanılmasına yönelik bir eylem planlanmıştır. Bu eylem planı gitar öğretimini geliştirmeye/iyileştirmeye yöneliktir. Bu doğrultuda bu araştırma,eylem araştırması çeşitlerinden özgürleştirici/geliştirici/eleştirel eylem araştırması kapsamına girmektedir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu; Kastamonu Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı'ndan 2 öğrenci, Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı'ndan 1 öğrenci, Trakya Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı'ndan 2 öğrenci olmak üzere 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim yılında lisans eğitimi almakta olan toplamda 5 gitar öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden olan tipik durum örnekleme metodu ile belirlenmiştir.Araştırmanın veri toplama araçlarını; kişisel bilgiler formu, performans gözlem formu, ünite değerlendirme formu, araştırmacı ve öğrenci günlükleri, online derslerin video kayıtları, mobil öğrenme ortamı değerlendirme formu, uygulama mesajları ve ürün dosyaları oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın uygulama süreci 12 hafta olarak yürütülmüştür. Bu uygulama süreci,ters yüz edilmiş sanal sınıf kapsamında öğrencilerin evde yürüttükleri eğitim faaliyetlerini ve online olarak yapılan canlı dersleri kapsamaktadır. Çalışmada, öğrencilerin evde yürüttükleri eğitim faaliyetleri mobil öğrenme ortamları ile desteklenmiştir. Çalışmanın mobil öğrenme ortamı, bir adet eğitsel sosyal ağ platformu Edmodo ve öğrencilerin yararlanabilecekleri 13 adet mobil uygulamadan oluşmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında online olarak yapılan dersler ise, uygulama süreci olan 12 hafta boyunca çalışma grubundaki her bir öğrenci ile birer saat olmak üzere Zoom platformu üzerinden görüntülü olarak yapılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; mobil öğrenme ortamları ile desteklenen ters yüz edilmiş sanal sınıf modeli ile yürütülen gitar eğitiminin öğrencilerin performans başarı durumlarını geliştirdiği, onların program kazanımlarını gerçekleştirmelerine katkı sağladığı söylenebilmektedir. Ayrıca bu araştırmanın uygulama süreci boyunca hem günlüklerde hem de öğrencilerle yapılan özel görüşmelerde öğrencilerin olumlu görüşler ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Çalışmanın bu sonuçlarından hareketle çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur. The main purpose of this research is to create an example of how to use the flipped (virtual) classroom model supported by mobile learning environments in guitar education. Within the scope of this general purpose, it is aimed to reveal how guitar teaching with the flipped (virtual) classroom model supported by mobile learning environments affects the performance skills of students and their achievement of unit acquisitions.This research is a study on the use of flipped virtual classroom model supported by mobile learning environments in guitar education. In the study, which was designed as an action research, an action was planned for the use of the flipped virtual classroom model supported by mobile learning environments in guitar education. This action plan is aimed at developing/improving guitar teaching. Accordingly, this research falls within the scope of liberating/developing/critical action research, one of the action research types. The study group of the research was to be 2 students from Kastamonu University Fine Arts Education Department Music Education Department, 1 student from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Fine Arts Education Department Music Education Department, and 2 students from Trakya University Fine Arts Education Department Music Education Department. It consists of 5 guitar students in total who are receiving undergraduate education in the 2020-2021 academic year. The study group of the research was determined by the typical case sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods.The data collection tools of the research are personal information form, performance observation form, unit evaluation form, researcher and student diaries, video recordings of online courses, mobile learning environment evaluation form, application messages and product files.The implementation period of this research was carried out for 12 weeks. This application process includes the educational activities carried out by the students at home within the scope of the flipped (virtual) classroom and the live lessons held online. In the study, the educational activities carried out by the students at home were supported by mobile learning environments. The mobile learning environment of the study consists of an educational social networking platform (edmodo) and 13 mobile applications that students can use. The online lessons within the scope of the study were held on the Zoom platform for one hour with each student in the study group during the 12 weeks, which is the application process.According to the results of this research; it can be said that the guitar education carried out with the flipped (virtual) classroom model supported by mobile learning environments improves the performance success status of the students and contributes to their realization of the program gains. In addition, during the implementation process of this research, it was seen that the students expressed positive opinions both in the diaries and in the private interviews with the students. Various suggestions were made from these results of the study.

Bu araştırma müzik eğitiminin okul öncesi çocuklarının sosyal değerler ve sosyal beceriler kazanımına olan etkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu amaçla sosyal değerleri konu alan çocuk şarkıları bestelenmiş ve müzik etkinlikleri planlanmıştır. Araştırmanın yöntemi öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel yöntemdir. Uygulama süreci, ilk ve son haftalar öntest ve sontest olmak üzere 12 haftadır. Ayrıca uygulama sürecinin bitiminden 3 hafta sonra deney grubuna kalıcılık testi uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu (n=26), 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kartal Hesna Gündeş İlkokulu’nda okuyan 13’ü deney grubu, 13’ü kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 26 anasınıfı öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Deney grubu, okul öncesi eğitiminin yanında araştırmacı tarafından 10 hafta boyunca, haftada 2 kez 30’ar dakika müzik eğitimine tabi tutulmuştur. Kontrol grubu ise yalnızca okul öncesi eğitimine devam etmiştir. Araştırmanın veri toplama araçları, ‘‘Okul Öncesi Sosyal Değerler Ölçeği’’ ve ‘’Sosyal Becerileri Değerlendirme Ölçeği (4-6 yaş)’’dir. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde deney ve kontrol gruplarının öntest bakımından eş olup olmadığını belirlemede ve deney sonrası geldikleri son seviyelerin tespit edilmesinde Mann Whitney U Testi kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarının öntest ve sontestlerinden elde edilen veriler de Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre deney grubunun ‘‘Sevgi-Hoşgörü’’, ‘‘Saygı’’, ‘‘Sorumluluk’’, ‘‘İş Birliği-Yardımlaşma’’, ‘‘Nezaket’’ alt boyutları ve genel toplam sontest puanlarının öntest puanlarından olumlu olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca deney grubunun sosyal değerler sontest puanları kontrol grubunun sontest puanlarından daha olumlu bulunmuştur. Kalıcılık testi sonuçları müzik eğitiminin sosyal değerler üzerinde kalıcı bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırmanın diğer sonuçlarına göre deney grubunun sosyal beceriler öntest-sontest puanları incelendiğinde müzik eğitiminin bazı sosyal becerileri etkilemediği fakat sosyal becerilerin çoğunluğuna olumlu yönde etki ettiği saptanmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin sosyal beceriler sontestleri karşılaştırıldığında sosyal becerilerin neredeyse tüm alt boyutlarında deney grubu lehine anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Kalıcılık testi sonuçlarına bakıldığında ise müzik eğitiminin sosyal beceriler genel toplam puanları üzerinde kalıcı bir etkisinin olmadığı görülmüştür. Araştırmanın sonuçları doğrultusunda araştırmacı ve uygulayıcılara sosyal değerler ve sosyal beceriler kazanımında müzik eğitiminden daha etkin bir şekilde yararlanılmasına yönelik çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur. --------------------ABSTRACTThis study aims to reveal the effect of music education on the acquisition of social values and social skills of preschool children. For this purpose, children's songs about social values were composed and musical activities were planned. The method of the research is a pretest-posttest control group quasi-experimental method. The application process is 12 weeks, including the first and last weeks pre-test and post-test. In addition, follow-up test was applied to the experimental group 3 weeks after the end of the study.The study group of the research (n = 26) consists of kindergarten students studying at Kartal Hesna Gündeş Primary School in the 2018-2019 academic year. 13 students constitute the experimental group and 13 students constitute the control group. In addition to pre-school education, the experimental group was subjected to 30 minutes of music education by the researcher for 10 weeks, twice a week. The control group continued only preschool education.The data collection tools of the research are Preschool Social Values Scale and Social Skills Evaluation Scale (4-6 years old). In analyzing the data, the Mann Whitney U Test was used to determine whether the experimental and control groups were equal in terms of pre-test and to determine their final levels after the experiment. The data obtained from the pretest and posttests of the experimental and control groups were also analyzed with the Wilcoxon Test.According to the results, it was determined that the sub-dimensions of love-tolerance, respect, responsibility, cooperation-cooperation, courtesy and general total posttest scores of the experimental group were positive from the pretest scores. In addition, the social values posttest scores of the experimental group were found to be more positive than the posttest scores of the control group. Follow-up test results show that music education has a permanent effect on social values. According to the other results of the study, when the social skills pre-test and post-test scores of the experimental group were examined, it was found that music education did not affect some social skills, but had a positive effect on the majority of social skills. When the social skills posttests of the experimental and control group students were compared, a significant difference was found in favor of the experimental group in almost all sub-dimensions of social skills. Considering the follow-up test results, it is seen that music education does not have a permanent effect on the general total scores of social skills. In line with the results of the research, various suggestions were made to researchers and practitioners to benefit from music education more effectively in acquiring social values and social skills.

Dijital yerliler olarak adlandırılan günümüz neslinin teknoloji ile olan ilişkileri ve bu doğrultuda gelişen beklentileri, eğitim-öğretim süreci içerisinde kullanılan geleneksel yöntemlere alternatif olarak, çağın gereklerini barındıran farklı yöntemlere olan ihtiyacı beraberinde getirmektedir. Eğitimin pek çok alanında hissedilen bu ihtiyaç, müzik eğitiminin alt boyutu olan çalgı eğitiminde de hissedilmektedir. Öğrencinin çalgısında başarılı olabilmesi zorlu bir süreci içerdiğinden, günümüz şartlarında öğrenciyi çalgısına yönelik motive edebilmenin önemi bağlamında teknolojiyi içeren farklı yöntemleri kullanmanın gerekli olduğu düşünülmektedir. Teknolojinin hızlı yükselişi ile birlikte ihtiyaç ve beklentileri karşılamak adına yapılan arayışlar neticesinde ortaya çıkan Oyunlaştırma'nın, günümüzde en dikkat çeken yöntemlerden biri olduğunu söylemek yanlış olmayacaktır. Oyunlaştırma öncelikli olarak eğitim dışı farklı alanlarda kullanılmış olsa da günümüzde eğitimde oyunlaştırma üzerine yoğun çalışmalar yapılmaktadır. Bu noktadan hareketle araştırmada, çalgı (gitar) eğitimi dersi için oyunlaştırma yöntemine yönelik eğitsel bir yazılım geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma, tasarım ve geliştirme araştırması yöntemi temel alınarak gerçekleştirilmiş ve yöntemin aşamaları olan analiz, tasarım, geliştirme, uygulama ve değerlendirme aşamaları içerisinde yer alan süreçler, çalışmanın alt problemleri olarak ele alınmıştır. Her aşamada, nitel araştırma yöntemi içerisindeki görüşme tekniklerinden yararlanılmış ve katılımcılar aşamaların ihtiyaçları doğrultusunda belirlenmiştir. Analiz aşamasında öncelikli olarak uzman görüşleri dahilinde hedef kitle analizi yapılmıştır. Mesleki müzik eğitiminin ilk sürecinde yer alması ve başlangıçtan itibaren öğrencilerde içsel motivasyonu arttırabilme bu sayede de çalışma alışkanlığı kazandırabilme düşüncesiyle çalışmanın, güzel sanatlar lisesi müzik bölümü 9. sınıf gitar öğrencilerine yönelik yapılmasının uygun olacağı tespit edilmiştir. Sonrasında ilgili literatür kapsamında çalgı eğitiminde karşılaşılan mevcut sorunlar incelenmiştir. Bu sorunları daha açık biçimde ortaya koymak ve çalgı eğitiminde teknolojik yaklaşımlar doğrultusunda kullanılan farklı yöntemleri tespit etmek adına güzel sanatlar lisesi müzik bölümü çalgı (gitar) eğitimi dersini veren uzmanların görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Bu görüşler neticesinde öğrencilerin, eser öncesi birtakım çalışmaları yapmak istemedikleri, çalgı çalışmayı görev olarak algıladıkları ve motivasyonlarının düşük olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Tasarım aşamasında, analiz aşamasının çıktıları doğrultusunda geliştirilmesi planlanan yazılımın tasarımına geçilmiştir. Bu aşamada yazılımın, eğitsel özellikleri, görsel tasarım özellikleri, çoklu ortam özellikleri, içerik özellikleri, yönlendirme ve yardım özellikleri, kurulum ve kullanım özellikleri ve yazılımda kullanılacak oyun ögeleri ile ilgili konu alan uzmanlarının görüşlerine başvurulmuştur.Geliştirme aşamasında yazılım, prototip bir mobil uygulama olarak ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Prototipi çıkarılan uygulamanın analize ve tasarıma uygunluğunu değerlendirmek üzere konu alan uzmanlarının görüşlerine başvurulmuş ve bu görüşler doğrultusunda uygulamaya yönelik gerekli düzeltmeler, geliştirme aşamasında yapılmıştır. Uygulama aşamasında, geliştirme aşamasında yapılan düzeltmelerden sonra hazırlanan `Gitarist` adlı uygulamanın, Kars Gülahmet Aytemiz Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi müzik bölümü 9. Sınıf gitar öğrencileri üzerinde, 8 haftalık süreci içeren pilot uygulaması yapılmış ve bu sürecin sonunda, mobil uygulamanın öğrenciler üzerindeki etkisini ve verimliliğini ölçmek adına, öğrenciler ile birebir görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir.Değerlendirme aşamasında, uygulamanın genel değerlendirmesi yapılarak, pilot uygulama sürecinde de yapılan gözlemler sonucunda tespit edilen eksikliklerin düzeltilmesi yoluna gidilmiştir. Sonrasında, geliştirilen mobil uygulamanın içerik ve işlevsellik açısından değerlendirilmesi adına farklı güzel sanatlar liselerinde görev yapan gitar öğretmenleri ile görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Bütün bu aşamalar sonucunda `Gitarist` adlı mobil uygulamanın son hali verilmiş ve uygulama bir ürün olarak ortaya çıkarılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Oyunlaştırma, Müzik Eğitiminde Oyunlaştırma, Gitar Eğitiminde Oyunlaştırma, Teknoloji, Yazılım The relationship of today's generation, called digital natives, with technology and their expectations reveal the need for different methods related to the requirements of the age, as an alternative to the traditional methods used in the educational process. This need realized in many areas of education is also noticed in instrument training, which is the sub-branch of music education. Considering the difficult process through which the student should practice hard to be successful in her/his instrument, it is thought that it is essential to use different methods including technology within the context of the importance of motivation. It can be said that Gamification, which emerged as a result of the needs and expectations with the rapid rise of technology, is one of the most remarkable methods today.Although gamification has been used primarily in different fields other than education, today, there are intensive studies on gamification in education. The aim of this study is to develop educational software through gamification method for instrument training. The study has been carried out on the basis of the design and development research method and the processes included in the analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages, which are the stages of the method, are considered as sub-problems of the study. At each stage, the interview techniques within the qualitative research method were used and the participants were determined in line with the needs of the stages. In the analysis phase, target audience analysis was carried out primarily considering expert opinions. It was determined that it would be appropriate to apply the study to the 9th grade guitar students of the fine arts high school music department with the idea of its being in the first stage of vocational music education and increasing the inner motivation of the students from the beginning, thereby gaining discipline. Afterwards, the current problems encountered in instrument education have been examined. In order to reveal these problems more clearly and to identify different methods used in line with technological approaches in instrument training, the opinions of the experts who gave instrument training (guitar) course at the fine arts high school were consulted. As a result of these opinions, it has been concluded that students do not want to do some practices and etudes before playing the piece, perceive the instrument playing as a kind of task and their motivation is low.Considering the outputs of the analysis phase, the software was planned to be developed during the design phase. At this stage, the opinions of the experts on the subject related to the educational features of the software, visual design features, multimedia and content features help features, installation and usage features and game elements to be used in the software were consulted.During the development phase, the software was created as a prototype mobile application. In order to evaluate the suitability of the prototype application for analysis and design, the opinions of the experts were asked and the necessary corrections for the application were made in the development phase considering these opinions.During the application phase, the application titled `Gitarist`, which was prepared after the corrections made during the development phase, an 8-week pilot scheme was applied on the 9th grade guitar students of Kars Gulahmet Aytemiz Fine Arts High School music department, and at the end of this process, one-on-one interviews were held with students to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the mobile application on students.During the evaluation phase, a general evaluation of the application was made and the deficiencies identified as a result of the observations made during the pilot application process were tried to be corrected. Afterwards, interviews were made with guitar teachers working in different fine arts high schools in order to evaluate the developed mobile application in terms of content and functionality.As a result of all these phases, the final version of the mobile application titled `Gitarist` has been revealed as a product.Keywords: Gamification, Gamification in Music Education, Gamified Guitar Education, Technology, Software 221

MÜZİK ÖĞRETMENİ ADAYLARININ DUYGUSAL ZEKÂ VEELEŞTİREL DÜŞÜNME EĞİLİMLERİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİDuygusal zekâ ve eleştirel düşünme eğilimleri son yıllarda eğitimde önem kazanan disiplinlerdir. Bireylerin bu disiplinleri kullanabilmeleri özellikle eğitimde daha etkin ve başarılı olabilmeleri açısından oldukça değerlidir.Bu araştırmada Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı öğrencilerinin duygusal zekâ ve eleştirel düşünme eğilimleri ile alt boyutları arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Tarama modeli kullanılan araştırma, 6 farklı üniversiteden rastgele seçilmiş Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı son sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 204 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada duygusal zekâyı belirlemek üzere, Türkçeye uyarlamasını Saltukoğlu, Tatar ve Tok’un yaptığı 41 maddelik “Schutte Duygusal (Gözden Geçirilmiş) Zekâ Ölçeği”, eleştirel düşünme eğilimini saptamak amacıyla, Türkçeye uyarlamasını Kökdemir’in yaptığı 51 maddelik “California Eleştirel Düşünme Eğilimi Ölçeği”, demografik özellikleri belirlemek amacıyla araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen 10 maddelik “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” kullanılmıştır. Veri analizinde, frekans, yüzde dağılım, t-testi, Mann-Whitney U testi, post-hoc Scheffe testi, post-hoc Mann-Whitney U testi, Pearson Korelasyon Katsayısı değerleri alınmıştır.Elde edilen bulgulara göre, genel eleştirel düşünme eğilimi düzeyi ile genel duygusal zekâ düzeyi arasında “orta” güçlükte, anlamlı ve pozitif bir ilişki olduğu bulunmuştur. It is very valuable for individuals to be able to use these disciplines, especially in terms of being more effective and successful in education.In this study, the relationship between emotional intelligence and critical thinking tendencies and sub dimensions of Music Education students was investigated. The research using the screening model was conducted with a total of 204 students studying in the last year of the Department of music education randomly selected from 6 different universities. In order to determine the emotional intelligence in the study, the 41 items “Schutte Emotional (Revised) Intelligence Scale”, which was adapted to Turkish by Saltukoğlu, Tatar and Tok, the 51 items “California Critical Thinking Tendency Scale”, which was adapted to Turkish by Kökdemir and the 10 items “Personal Information Form” were used to determine the demographic characteristics. In data analysis, frequency, percentage distribution, t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, post-hoc Scheffe test, post-hoc Mann-Whitney U test, Pearson Correlation Coefficient values were taken.According to the findings, there was a significant and positive relationship between the general level of critical thinking tedency and the general level of emotional intelligence. Study the demographic characteristics of music teacher candidates are examined according to the trend of the level of critical thinking when the age of the students, the High School graduate, the education institution (University), father’s education, the trend of the level of knowledge about critical thinking and emotional intelligence can cause to diverge significantly, while the level of knowledge about gender, individual instrument, the educational status of the mother and the family’s monthly income that is partially or completely does not cause a meaningful differentiation.

Bu araştırmada, öğrencilerin dinleme becerilerini geliştirmeye yönelik hazırlanan analitik müzik dinleme etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin müzikal bilgi, algı ve performans başarısına etkisi olup olmadığının belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla, alan uzmanlarından alınan görüşlerle belirlenen dönem ve eserler kapsamında, öğrencilerin bilgi, müzikal algı ve performans başarı düzeylerini artırmaya yönelik `analitik müzik dinleme etkinlikleri` oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın uygulama süreci 10 haftadır. Araştırma, öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desen modeline göre tasarlanmıştır.Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu (n=20), Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı'nda 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılı güz yarıyıl döneminde, bireysel çalgıları yaylı (10), piyano (8) ve gitar (2) olan toplam 20, 4. sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır.Öğrencilerin denklikleri incelenerek, yansız atama yöntemiyle deney (n=10) ve kontrol (n=10) grupları oluşturulmuştur. Hazırlanan analitik müzik dinleme etkinlikleri deney grubuna uygulanmış, bu süreçte kontrol grubu ile herhangi bir çalışma yapılmamıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarına deney öncesi ve sonrası ölçmeler yapılmıştır.Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla; Müzik Eğitimi Genel Alan Bilgisini Ölçmeye Yönelik Başarı Testi, Müzikal Algılama Ölçeği, Performans Gözlem Formu ve Görüş Formu olmak üzere dört ölçme aracı kullanılmıştır. Gruplardan elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde Wilcoxon Testi kullanılmış ve böylelikle uygulanan öğretim programı sonucunda deney grubunun araştırmanın bağımsız değişkeni ile birlikte bağımlı değişkenleri olan müzikal bilgi, algı ve performanslarının nasıl bir değişim gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca grupların deney öncesi ve deney sonrası seviyelerini belirlemek amacı ile öntest ve sontestler üzerinde Mann Whitney U Testi kullanılarak tek yönlü sınama gerçekleştirilmiştir. Uygulama sonunda deney grubu öğrencilerine analitik müzik etkinliklerinin etkisine yönelik anket uygulanmış ve görüşleri alınmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre analitik müzik dinleme etkinliklerinin deney grubu öğrencilerinin bilgi ve müzikal algılama düzeylerine olumlu etkisi olduğu görülmüştür. Analitik müzik dinleme etkinlikleri kapsamında, yeni ve mevcut bilgilerin eşliğinde dinleme analizleri gerçekleştirilmiş, çalgılarına yönelik uygulamalı bir çalışma yapılmamış, etkinliklerin çalgı performansına dolaylı etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırmanın eser ve etüt performans gözlem formu verilerine göre analitik müzik dinleme etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin performans başarı düzeylerinde anlamlı bir fark yaratmadığı tespit edilmiştir. Öğrenci görüşlerini almak üzere uygulanan anket verilerine göre ise, analitik müzik dinleme etkinliklerinin, deney grubu öğrencilerinin mesleki bakış açılarına, çalgı çalışma yaklaşımlarına ve alan dersleri ile ilgili bilgilere olumlu etkisi olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Buna göre etkinliklerin, öğrencilerin müzik dinleme yaklaşımlarında ve daha iyi dinleyici, müzisyen ve öğretmen olma çabalarında olumlu etkisi olduğu görülmüştür. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda, eğitim sürecinde ve araştırma alanlarında dinleme ve dinleme becerisi gelişimine yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.Anahtar Kelimeler: Müzik Eğitimi, Müzikal Algı, Analitik Dinleme, Dinleme Becerisi, Dinleme Eğitimi. In this study, whether analytical music listening that are prepared to improve the listening skills of students has an impact on musical knowledge, perception and performance achievement of students intended to be identified. For this purpose, within the period and works identified by field experts opinions, `analytical music listening activities` intended to improve students' knowledge, musical perception and performance achievement levels are composed. Application process of research was10 weeks. Research was prepared according to pretest-posttest with control group experimental design.The study group of research (n=20) was consist of 4th grade students whose individual instruments were spring (10), piano (8) ve guitar (2) from Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education Department of Fine Arts Music Teaching Department 2017-2018 education period fall term.Examining the equivalence of students, experiment was composed of an experimental group (n=10) and control group (n=10) with using random method. Analytical music listening activities that prepared were applied to experimental group, and no studies were applied to control group in this process. Before and after experiment, surveys were in progress on experimental and control groups.In order to collect data in research, four measuring tools as Achievement Test Focused On Measuring General Field Knowledge Of Music Education, Musical Perception Measurement, Performance Observation Form and Opinion Form are used. Wilcoxon Test was used in analysis of data from groups and so it was determined how the experimental group's musical knowledge, perception and performance that have independent variables along with dependent variables of research change as a result of the instruction schedule. Also in order to determine levels of groups before and after experiment, one sided test is realized by using Mann Whitney U Test on pretest-posttests. At the end of experiment, a survey about the effects of analytical music activities was implemented on experimental group and their opinions were received.According to the results of research, it is established that analytical music listening activities has an positive effect on experimental group students' knowledge and musical perception levels. Within the context of analytical music listening activities, listening activities were performed to the accompaniment of new and available informations, any practical study oriented on their instrument was not done, activities' indirect effect on their instrumental performance was examined. According to the results of work and study performance observation form, analytical music listening activities do not have a significant difference on students' performance achievement levels. According to the survey results applied to take students' opinions, analytical music listening activities are established as having positive effect on experimental group students' professional perspectives, instrumental study approaches and knowledge of major area courses. According to this, it is established that activities have a positivie effect on students' music listening approaches and their efforts on being a better listener, musician and teacher. Bu araştırmanın amacı, müzik öğretmenlerinin müzik performans kaygıları ile iş doyumlarını incelemek ve varsa çeşitli değişkenlere göre aralarında bir ilişki olup olmadığını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmaya, 2018-2019 eğitim-öğretim yılında Ağrı İlinde görev yapan ve Milli Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı devlet okullarında çalışan 101 müzik öğretmeni katılmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan müzik öğretmenlerinin, müzik performans kaygılarının ölçülmesi amacıyla, Kenny ve arkadaşları (2004) tarafından geliştirilen ve Tokinan (2013) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlaması yapılan “Müzik Performans Kaygı Ölçeği” ve iş doyumu düzeylerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla ise Baycan (1985) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan “Minnesota İş Doyumu Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin, demografik verilerinin toplanması amacıyla ise araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan “Kişisel Bilgi Formu”ndan yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmada verilerin çözümlenmesi SPSS 23.0 istatistik paket programı kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Bulguların elde edilmesinde bağımsız/ilişkisiz gruplar t-testi, Kruskal-Wallis H testi, post-hoc Mann-Whitney U testi ve Pearson momentler çarpımı korelasyonu katsayıları kullanılmıştır.Elde edilen sonuçlarda, araştırmaya katılan müzik öğretmenlerinin, müzik performans kaygılarının düşük seviyede olduğu görülmüştür. Cinsiyet değişkenine göre, kadın müzik öğretmenlerinin kaygı puanlarının, erkek müzik öğretmenlerine oranla daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmaya katılan müzik öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu düzeylerinin orta seviyede olduğu, mezun olunan lise değişkenine göre elde edilen bulgularda ise düz liselerden mezun olan müzik öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu düzeylerinin, güzel sanatlar ve spor liselerinden mezun olanlara göre daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu araştırmada, Web Tabanlı Uzaktan Eğitim (WTUE) yönteminin Güzel Sanatlar Liseleri'ne yönelik çalgı (gitar) eğitiminde uygulanabilirliğinin ortaya konması amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda gitar eğitimine yönelik senkron ve asenkron model kapsamında web tabanlı deneysel bir çalışma geliştirilmiş ve Marmara Üniversitesi Uzaktan Eğitim Uygulama ve Araştırma Merkezi'nde kullanılan Eğitim Yönetim Sistemi üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma, Aydın Doğan Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi'nde, 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında, iki ayrı çalışma grubuyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Web tabanlı çalgı eğitiminin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla 11. ve 12. sınıfta gitar eğitimi alan 8 öğrenci ile birinci çalışma grubu, başlangıç gitar eğitiminin değerlendirilmesi amacıyla hiç gitar eğitimi almamış 2 öğrenci ile ikinci çalışma grubu oluşturulmuştur. Birinci çalışma grubunda yer alan öğrencilerle 8 hafta süresince, ikinci çalışma grubunda yer alan öğrencilerle 4 hafta süresince gitar eğitimi dersleri gerçekleştirilmiştir. Karma yöntemin kullanıldığı araştırmada, öntest–sontest eşleştirilmiş kontrol gruplu seçkisiz gerçek deneysel desen nicel yöntem kapsamında, görüşme ve gözlem teknikleri nitel yöntem kapsamında uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada, gitar performans dereceleme ölçeği (GPDÖ), başlangıç gitar eğitimi temel davranışlar değerlendirme formu, bireysel çalgı dersi tutum ölçeği, gitar dersi başarı testi (GDBT), yapılandırılmış ders gözlem formu ve görüşme formu veri toplama araçları olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada, nicel verilerin toplanmasında kullanılan öntest ve sontestler, istatistiksel analiz yöntemi kapsamında bağımsız iki grup ortalamaları arasındaki farkın önemlilik testinin nonparametrik karşılığı olan Mann Whitney U testi ile, bağımlı iki grup ortalamaları arasındaki farkın önemlilik testinin nonparametrik karşılığı olan Wilcoxon testi ile analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Deneysel çalışma ile ilgili öğrenci görüşleri betimsel analiz yöntemi kapsamında analiz edilmiş, yapılan analiz sonucu belirlenen temalar ve kodlar yorumlanmıştır. Gözlem tekniği ile elde edilen veriler yapılandırılmış ders gözlem formu kullanılarak analiz edilmiş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi çalgı (gitar) eğitimi programının WTUE yöntemiyle uygulanabildiği ve bu yöntemin geleneksel çalgı eğitimine alternatif olarak kullanılabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. In this research, it is aimed to demonstrate the applicability of the Web Based Distance Learning (WBDL) method in instrumental (guitar) training for Fine Arts High Schools. For this purpose, a web based experimental study on synchronous and asynchronous model for guitar education was developed and applied through the Learning Management System used in Distance Education Center of Marmara University. The research was carried out with two study groups in Aydın Doğan Fine Arts High School in 2017-2018 academic year. In order to evaluate the web based instrument training, 8 students who get guitar education in 11th and 12th classes were formed as the first study group and 2 students who didn't get any guitar education were formed as the second study group in order to evaluate the initial guitar education. Guitar training courses were performed for 8 weeks with the first study group and 4 weeks with the second study group. In the research using mixed method, interview and observation techniques were applied within the scope of qualitative method, and real experimental design with pre-test and post-test matched control group were applied within the scope of quantitative method. In the study, guitar performance rating scale (GPRS), initial guitar training basic behavior assessment form, individual instrument lesson attitude scale, guitar lesson achievement test (GLAT), structured course observation form and interview form were used as data collection tools. In the research, the pretest and posttest used in the collection of quantitative data were analyzed and interpreted by the Mann Whitney U test, which is the nonparametric test for the significance test of the difference between two independent groups averages, and the Wilcoxon test, which is the nonparametric test for the significance test of the difference between two dependent groups averages. Students' opinions about the experimental study were analyzed within the scope of descriptive analysis method and the analyzed themes and codes were interpreted. The data obtained by the observation technique were analyzed and interpreted using the structured observation form. According to the results of this research it was concluded that instrument (guitar) training program of The Fine Arts High School can be applied using the WBDL method and this method can be used as an alternative to traditional instrument training. 111

Bu araştırmanın amacını, müzik eğitiminin bir alt dalı olan çalgı eğitimi süreçlerinde, öğrencilerin eğitimlerinde aile desteklerini algıladıkları düzeylerin tespiti ve çalgı eğitimindeki süreçlere yönelik aile katılımının, öğretmen görüşleri tarafından değerlendirilmesi oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada, genel tarama modellerinden betimsel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda, ortaöğretim 5. sınıf öğrencilerinin çalgı eğitiminde algıladıkları aile desteği incelenmiş ve elde edilen bulguların çeşitli değişkenlere göre (cinsiyet, branş, eğitim düzeyi) farklılaşma durumları sorgulanmıştır. Araştırmada ikincil olarak, nitel bir yaklaşımla 5. Sınıf müzik derslerine giren müzik öğretmenleriyle görüşmeler yapılarak, çalgı eğitimindeki aile katılımına yönelik mevcut durum, derinlemesine ele alınmaya ve yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini, 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim döneminde İstanbul ilinde Bilfen Eğitim Kurumları'nın Esenşehir, Sancaktepe ve Yenişehir kampüslerinde okuyan, ortaöğretim 5.sınıfa kayıtlı 200 öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Öğrencilerin çalgı eğitiminde algıladıkları aile desteği düzeyleri, Demet Girgin tarafından geliştirilmiş olan `Çalgı Eğitiminde Algılanan Aile Desteği Ölçeği` kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın nitel kısmında ise 12 öğretmen ile görüşme yapılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin belirlenmesi amacıyla, araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanmış olan `Aile Katılımı Öğretmen Görüşme Formu` kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler, nicel bölümde SPSS 15.0 programı aracılığıyla betimsel ve karşılaştırma testleri yapılarak, nitel bölümde ise içerik analizi yapılarak yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır.Araştırmadan elde edilen belli başlı sonuçlar şu şekildedir; 1.Öğrencilerin `Çalgı Eğitiminde Algıladıkları Aile Desteği Ölçeği`ne yönelik ailelerinden aldıkları destek puanlarının toplam ve tüm alt boyutlarda yüksek olduğu görülmüştür. Öğrencilerin `Çalgı Eğitiminde Algıladıkları Aile Desteği Ölçeği`nde duyarlılık ve sürece dahil olma alt boyutları arasında, olumlu yönde yüksek ilişki olduğu saptanmıştır.2.Öğrencilerin `Çalgı Eğitiminde Algıladıkları Aile Desteği Ölçeği` toplam ve sürece dahil olma alt boyutu puanlarının, cinsiyet değişkenine göre anlamlı düzeyde kadınlar lehine farklılaştığı görülürken, aile desteği ölçeği duyarlılık alt boyutu puanlarının, cinsiyete göre anlamlı farklılaşmadığı görülmüştür.3.Öğrencilerin `Çalgı Eğitiminde Algıladıkları Aile Desteği Ölçeği` toplam ve tüm alt boyut puanları ile branş değişkeni arasında anlamlı fark bulunmadığı görülmüştür.4.Öğrencilerin `Çalgı Eğitiminde Algıladıkları Aile Desteği Ölçeği` toplam ve tüm alt boyut puanları ile eğitim düzeyi değişkeni arasında anlamlı fark bulunmadığı görülmüştür.5.Aileler, çalgı eğitiminde eğitim sürecine duyarlılıklarına yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinde birbirlerine yakın ifadelerde bulundukları görülmüştür. Ailelerin çalgı eğitimine katkısına yönelik öğretmen görüşleri incelendiğinde, görüşlerin, genellikle gerekli çalgı ve araç-gereçlerin sağlanması ile maddi desteğin aile tarafından karşılanması yönünde ifade edildiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Öğretmenler, ailelerin sürece dahil olma durumunun, çocuğun çalgı eğitimine olumlu yönde fayda sağlayacağını belirtmiştir. Ailelerin çalgı eğitiminde eğitim sürecine duyarlılıklarına yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinde de birbirlerine yakın ifadelerde bulunuldukları görülmüştür. 6.Ailelerin çalgı eğitimine katkısına yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinde, eğitim durumu yüksek olan ailelerin çalgı eğitimine olumlu katkı sağlayacağını ifade ettikleri görülmüştür.7.Ailelerin çalgı eğitimine katkısına yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinde, geçmişinde müzik eğitimi ve çalgı eğitimi olan ailelerin, olmayan ailelere göre daha fazla katkı sağlayacağı ifade edilmiştir.8.Ailelerin çalgı eğitimine katkısına yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinde, aile-öğretmen iş birliğinin çalgı eğitiminin çalışma düzenine katkı sağlayacağı ifade edilmiş, aile-okul tarafından planlanan ve düzenlenen etkinliklere katılımın sağlanmasıyla, öğrencilerin çalgı eğitimine yönelik motivasyonlarının yükseleceği belirtilmiştir.Aile katılımı çalışmalarına yönelik çalgı eğitimi süreçlerinde, öğretmenlerin aileler ile sık sık görüştüklerini ve aile katılımı hakkında bilinçlendirme çalışmaları yaptıklarını ifade ettikleri görülmüştür. Ayrıca öğretmenler bu görüşmeler sonucunda gerçekleştirilen çalışmaların öğrencilerin evdeki çalışma düzenlerine katkı sağladığını belirtmiştir. Bu araştırmanın, aile katılımının müzik eğitiminin çalgı eğitimindeki kazanımları açısından; öğrencilere, öğretmenlere, ailelere ve araştırmacılara yol gösterici olabileceği düşünülmektedir. The aim of this research was to determine the students' perceived family support level in the instrument education process, which is a subdivision of music education, and to evaluate the family participation in the instrument education process by teacher opinions. Descriptive survey model from general survey models was used in the study. In this context, the perceived family support of the 5th-grade students in the secondary education in instrument education was examined, and the findings were examined according to various variables (gender, subject, education level). In the research, a qualitative approach was conducted with the music teachers who teach in the 5th class music courses and the current situation about family participation in instrument education was discussed and interpreted in depth.The sample of the research was 200 students studying in the Bilfen Education Institutions' Esenşehir, Sancaktepe and Yenişehir campuses in Istanbul province in the 2017-2018 academic year and enrolled in the 5th grade of secondary education. The level of family support perceived by the students in instrumental education was determined by using the ` Perceived Family Support Scale for Musical Instrument Education` developed by Demet Girgin. In the qualitative part of the research, 12 teachers were interviewed. To determine the opinions of teachers, '' Family Participation Teacher Interview Form '' prepared by the researcher was used. The data obtained from the study were analyzed by descriptive and comparison tests through the SPSS 15.0 program in the quantitative section and by content analysis in the qualitative section.The main results obtained from the research are as follows;1.Family support scores were found to be higher in the total and all subscales of the ''Perceived Family Support Scale for Musical Instrument Education''. In the ''Perceived Family Support Scale for Musical Instrument Education'', students were found to have a high positive relationship between sensibility and inclusion in the process. 2.The ''Perceived Family Support Scale for Musical Instrument Education'' scores of the students were significantly different in favor of women according to the gender variable while the family support scale sensibility subscale scores were not significantly different according to gender.3.There was no significant difference between the total and subscale scores of the ''Perceived Family Support Scale for Musical Instrument Education'' and subject variable. 4.There was no significant difference between total and subscale scores of the ''Perceived Family Support Scale for Musical Instrument Education'' and the education level variable.5.In teachers' opinions on the sensibility of the families to the educational process in instrumental education, families also have statements close to each other. When the teachers' opinions about the families' contribution to the instrumental education were examined, opinions are often expressed in the provision of necessary instruments and equipment and the financial support of the family. Teachers have stated that the family's inclusion in the process will benefit the child positively in instrument education. In teachers' opinions on the sensibility of the families to the educational process in instrumental education, families also have statements close to each other. 6.In the opinion of the teachers regarding the families' contributions to the instrument education, it was seen that the families with high educational status were stated to have a positive contribution to the instrument education.7.In the opinion of the teachers regarding the families' contributions to the instrument education, it is stated that the families with music and instrument education in their past will contribute more than the families with no musical education.8.In the opinion of the teachers regarding the families' contributions to the instrument education, it has been stated that the family-teacher cooperation will contribute to the study habits in the instrumental education, and the students' motivation for the instrumental education will be increased by participating in the planned and organized activities by the family-school.During the process of instrumental education for family participation studies, teachers often expressed they had frequent contact with the parents and made awareness-raising activities about family participation. In addition, the teachers indicated that the studies conducted as a result of these interviews contributed to the study habits of the students at home.It is thought that this research could be a guide for students, teachers, families, and researchers on the achievements of family participation in the instrumental education in music education. 108

Bu araştırmada, müzik öğretmenliği klasik gitar öğrencilerinin bireysel çalgı (gitar) performansı öz-yeterlik inançlarının cinsiyet, mezun olunan lise türü, öğrenim gördükleri üniversite, sınıf, klasik gitara başlama yaşı ve günlük klasik gitar çalışma süresi değişkenleri açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini, 2017- 2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında, Türkiye genelindeki Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı lisans programlarında öğrenim gören klasik gitar öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini ise (N=80) Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi, Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi, Marmara Üniversitesi, Harran Üniversitesi, Ondokuz Mayıs Üniversitesi ve Balıkesir Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Öğretmenliği Anabilim Dalı lisans programlarında öğrenim gören birinci, ikinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf klasik gitar öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma, yöntemi, içeriği ve amacı bakımından tarama modelinin kullanıldığı betimsel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda, klasik gitar öğrencilerinin demografik özelliklerini belirlemek için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen Kişisel Bilgi Formu ve bireysel çalgı (gitar) performansı öz-yeterlik inanç düzeylerini saptamak için Girgin (2015) tarafından geliştirilen Çalgı Performansı Öz-yeterlik İnancı Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesi için SPSS 21 istatistik programı kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin demografik özelliklerini ortaya koymak için frekans ve yüzde dağılımları çıkarılmış, ölçeğin toplam puanları için, , ss, Shx değerleri saptanmıştır. Daha sonra öğrencilerin çalgı performansı öz-yeterlik inançlarının bağımsız değişkenlere göre değişip değişmediğini belirlemek için fark testleri kullanılmıştır. Bu çerçevede; üç ve daha fazla kategoriden oluşan değişkenler için non-parametrik Kruskal Wallis-H testi, sonucu anlamlı bulunan farklılıklarda, farklılıkların kaynaklarını belirlemek üzere non parametrik Mann Whitney U testi ve 2 kategorili değişkenler için ise yine non parametrik Mann Whitney U testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen verilere göre, öğrencilerin bireysel çalgı (gitar) performansı öz-yeterlik inançlarının cinsiyet, öğrenim görülen üniversite, sınıf, klasik gitara başlama yaşı ve günlük klasik gitar çalışma süresi değişkenlerine göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı, mezun olunan lise türü değişkenine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı düzeyde bir fark olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. This research aims to search musical teaching classic guitar students' individual instrument performances of self-efficacy in terms of gender, the type of the high school graduated, the university having been studied, the age of starting playing the guitar and daily exercise hours of classic guitar. This research includes the students who have been studying in 2017-2018 academic year in Education Faculties Fine Arts Department Musical Teaching Undergraduate Program throughout Turkey. The research sample (N=80) is composed by the classic guitar students who have been studying on first, second, third and fourth grades on musical teaching of Education Faculties of Fine Arts Undergraduate Programmers on University of Abant İzzet Baysal University, Karadeniz Teknik University, Marmara Universty, Harran University, Ondokuz Mayıs University and Balıkesir University. The research is a descriptive survey model in terms of method, content and purpose. In accordance with this research's purpose to determine demographic features of classic guitar students Personal Information Form improved by researcher and to determine individual instrument (guitar) performance self-efficacy levels Instrument Performance Self-Efficacy Belief Scale Girgin (2015) were used. To analyze data statistic program SPSS 21 was used. For the reason showing the demographic features of students frequency and percentage distribution are determined for the scale's total points , ss, Shx rates are detected. Later, in order to determine student's instrument performance self-efficacy beliefs change or not change according to independent variables, the difference tests were used. In this context, for variables which have three or more categories non paramedic Kruskal Wallis-H test, the differences which have meaningful results to determine resources of differences non paramedic Man Whitney U test and for variables with two categories non paramedic Man Whitney U test were used. The data gained at the end of the research it is understood that students' individual instrument (guitar) performances self-efficacy beliefs change in a meaningful way in according to gender, university having been studied, class, the age of starting to play the guitar and daily exercise hours of classic guitar variables statically, but there isn't a meaningful difference in terms of the high school graduated. 101

ÖZETMÜZİK ÖĞRETMENLİĞİ KLASİK GİTAR EĞİTİMİ DERSİ İÇİN EKLEKTİK BİR MODEL ÖNERİSİBu araştırmada, bireysel çalgı eğitimi dersi kapsamında gerçekleştirilen klasik gitar eğitiminde teknik ve müzikal bilgi ve becerilerin kazandırılmasına yönelik uygulanan öğretim etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin performans başarı düzeylerinin artırılmasına etkisinin olup olmadığının sınanması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın yöntemine dayalı olarak gitar öğrencilerinin bilgi düzeylerini, klasik gitar çalışma zihinsel algı ve tutum düzeylerini ve performans başarı düzeylerini artırmak amacıyla; görsel, işitsel ve uygulamaya dayalı öğrenme boyutlarına yönelik etkinlikleri içinde barındıran ve her biri beş hafta olmak üzere iki periyottan oluşan öğretim programı, dizgeli eğitim modeline göre hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu (N=14), 2012-2013 eğitim-öğretim yılında, Karadeniz Teknik Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda bireysel çalgı eğitimi dersi kapsamında klasik gitar eğitimine devam eden I. II. ve III. sınıf gitar öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmada, klasik gitar çalmaya ilişkin teknik ve müzikal bilgi ve becerilerin kazandırılmasına yönelik uygulanan öğretim etkinliklerinin öğrencilerin bilgi düzeyleri, klasik gitar çalışma zihinsel algı ve tutum düzeyleri ve performans başarı düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisini saptamak amacıyla deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırma öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desen modeline göre tasarlanmıştır. Gitar öğrencilerinin denklikleri incelendikten sonra, yansız atama yöntemiyle deney (N=7) ve kontrol (N=7) grupları oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın yöntemine dayalı olarak her biri beş hafta olmak üzere iki periyottan oluşan ve dizgeli öğretime göre hazırlanan gitar dersi öğretim programı deney grubuna uygulanırken, kontrol grubu ile geleneksel öğretime devam edilmiştir. Her iki gruba da deney öncesi ve deney sonrası ölçmeler yapılmıştır.Araştırmada veri toplamak amacıyla; Başarı Testi, Klasik Gitar Çalışma Zihinsel Algı ve Tutum Ölçeği ve Performans Gözlem Formu olmak üzere üç ölçme aracı kullanılmıştır. Deney ve kontrol gruplarından elde edilen öntest ve sontest verilerinin çözümlenmesinde ilişkili grup Wilcoxon Testi kullanılmış ve böylelikle uygulanan öğretim programı sonucunda her iki grubun araştırmanın bağımsız değişkenleri açısından nasıl bir gelişme gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca deney ve kontrol gruplarının deney öncesi denkliklerini ve deney sonrası ulaştıkları son seviyelerini belirlemek amacı ile öntestler ve sontestler üzerinde tek yönlü sınamayı gerçekleştirebilmek için ilişkisiz grup Mann Whitney U Testi kullanılmıştır.Elde edilen sonuçlar doğrultusunda, uygulama süreci sonunda deney grubundaki öğrencilerin gitar dersi bilgi düzeylerinde, klasik gitar çalışma zihinsel algı ve tutum düzeylerinde ve performans başarı düzeylerinde kontrol grubundaki öğrencilere göre daha yüksek bir oranda artış olduğu görülmüştür. Sonuç olarak, klasik gitar çalmaya ilişkin teknik ve müzikal bilgi ve becerilerin kazandırılmasına yönelik uygulanan gitar dersi öğretim programının geleneksel öğretime göre çok daha etkili ve geliştirici bir program olduğu saptanmıştır. Anahtar Kelimeler: Müzik Eğitimi, Çalgı Eğitimi, Öğretim Programı, Klasik Gitar Eğitimi, Eklektik Yaklaşım.ABSTRACTA SUGGESTION OF AN ECLECTIC EDUCATION MODEL FOR TEACHING MUSIC IN CLASSICAL GUITAR TRAINING CLASSES The purpose of this study was to examine whether teaching activities aimed to improve musical knowledge and skills of students, who took classical guitar lessons in individual instrument education classes, had an effect on the success of students’ performances. Based on the method of the study, a special education program consisted of two successive periods (five weeks each) was prepared according to the systematic education model. The program, which involved activities for visual, audial and practical learning dimensions, aspired to enhance performance levels, mental perceptions, attitudes and knowledge of the students learning classical guitar. The study group of the research consisted of first year, second year and third year guitar students who took classical guitar courses within individual instrument education classes at Karadeniz Technical University, in the Music Education branch of Fine Arts Education Department in the academic year of 2012-2013. In this research, the experimental method was used in order to identify the effects of teaching activities, aimed to improve students’ technical-musical knowledge, skills in playing classical guitar, knowledge levels, mental perceptions, attitudes, and performance successes. The research was designed according to the model of experimental design with the control groups for pretests and posttests. After reviewing the equivalency of guitar students, experimental (N=7) and control (N=7) groups were selected with the help of the impartial assignment method. Based on the research methodology, while the experimental group was introduced with special guitar education lessons prepared according to the systematic education model, for two successive periods of five weeks each; the traditional teaching method was employed for the control group. Pretests and posttests were administered two both groups. A Success Test, Classical Guitar Mental Perception and Attitude Scale, and Performance Observation Form were used as measurement tools in order to collect data. The Wilcoxon Test was employed for the analysis of data collected from experimental and control groups with pretests and posttests. Thus, as a result of the education program they received, each groups’ level of development was found in terms of independent variables. Furthermore, The Mann Whitney U independent group test was used in order to implement a one-sided test of pretests and posttests for determining equivalency of experimental and control groups before the experiment and the levels they reached after the experiment.Based on the results, it can be said that classical guitar performance successes, knowledge levels, mental perceptions and attitudes of students in experimental group have increased to a greater degree than those in control group after the treatment. In conclusion, it was found that the special guitar education program, which aimed to increase musical and technical knowledge and skills in playing classical guitar, was significantly more effective and improving than the traditional teaching methods. ÖZETBu araştırma, okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin almış oldukları müzik eğitimi doğrultusunda uygulamakta oldukları müzik etkinliklerine ilişkin görüşlerinin ve karşılaştıkları problemlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır.Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Denizli ilinde görev yapan okul öncesi öğretmenleri, örneklemini ise 42 okul öncesi eğitim kurumunda görev yapan toplam 195 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmanın amacı doğrultusunda araştırmacı tarafından 45 soruluk bir anket geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen anket veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucuna göre;Örneklemi oluşturan öğretmenlerin 191’i (%%97,9) kadın; 4’ü (%2,1) erkeklerden oluşmaktadır. Örneklem grubunun 91’i (%46,7) Resmi Anasınıfında, 95’i (%48,7) Bağımsız Anaokulunda ve 9’u (%4,6) Özel okulda görev yapmaktadırlar. Örneklem grubunu oluşturan öğretmenlerin 62’si (%31,8) 1-5 yıl, 53’ü (%27,2) 6-10 yıl, 43’ü (%22,1) 11-15 yıl, 15’i (7,7) 16-20 yıl ve 22’si (%11,3) 21 ve üzeri yıl hizmet süresine sahiptirler. Örneklem grubunun 82’si (%42,1) Pamukkale Üniversitesi, 47’si (%24,1) Gazi Üniversitesi, 22’si (%11,3) Anadolu Üniversitesi, 44’ü (%22,6) diğer üniversitelerden mezun olduklarını belirtmişlerdir. Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin 129’u (%66,2) Okul Öncesi Öğretmenliği, 60’ı (%30,8) Çocuk Gelişimi ve Eğitimi ve 6’sı (%3,1) diğer bölümlerden mezun olmuşlardır.Araştırmaya göre, okul öncesi öğretmenleri okul öncesi müzik eğitiminin çocukların gelişimlerinde önemli olduğunu düşünmektedirler. Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre; öğretmenlerin okul öncesi öğretmenliği lisans programında aldıkları müzik etkinliklerini uygulama ve müzik etkinliklerini uygularken karşılaştıkları problemler hakkında, kadın ve erkek öğretmenlerin görüşleri arasında bir farklılık bulunmamıştır.Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgular ışığında; okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin; müzik dinletme, müzikal gelişim, şarkı seçiminde dikkat edilmesi gereken ölçütler, müzik etkinliklerinde kendini yeterli görme, müzik köşesi oluşturma ve müzikle ilgili karşılaşılan problemler, şarkı öğretim teknik ve yöntemlerinde, görev yaptıkları kurumlara göre farklılıklar belirlenmiştir. Bu maddelerde özel okulda görev yapan öğretmenlerin puanları lehine bir farklılık vardır. Özel okulların müzik köşesi oluşturma ve müzikle ilgili araç-gereç konusunda sorun yaşamadığı belirlenmiştir.Araştırmaya göre; okul öncesi öğretmenlerin bir bölümü üniversitede aldıkları müzik eğitimini yetersiz bulmaktadırlar. Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin müzik etkinliklerini uygularken eşlik çalgısı kullanımında güçlük çektikleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin görüşlerine göre, müzik alanında hizmet içi eğitim seminerlerinin yetersiz olduğu ve müzik alanında hizmet içi eğitim seminerlerinin açılmasını istedikleri belirlenmiştir.Araştırmanın sonucuna göre; okul öncesi müzik etkinliklerini müzik öğretmeninin uygulaması görüşü ortaya çıkmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Okul Öncesi Eğitimi, Müzik Eğitimi, Okul Öncesi Dönem ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is; to determine the opinions of the pre-school teachers’ music activities that they are applying according to music education they had and the problems they faced.Survey model was used in this research. The universe of the research is the pre-school teachers in Denizli, sample is 195 pre-school teachers from 42 schools.In accordance with the aim of the research, a questionnaire that consists of 45 questions was developed by the researcher. The questionnaire developed was used for collecting data. According to the result of the research;Sample by 195 teachers; 191 (97.9%) women; 4 (2.1%) are men. The sample group of 91 (46.7%) in state kindergarten, 95 (48.7%) in independent kindergarten, 9 (4.6%) are serving in a private kindergarten. The sample group of 62 of the teachers (31.8%) 1-5 years, 53 (27.2%) 6-10 years, 43 (22.1%) 11-15 years, 15 ( 7.7) 16-20 years and 22 (11.3%) over 21 years of service. The sample group of 82 (42.1%), Pamukkale University, 47 (24.1%) Gazi University, 22 (11.3%) Anadolu University, 44 (22.6%) graduated from other universities. 129 of the pre-school teachers (66.2%) Preschool Teacher, 60 (30.8%) Child Development and Education and 6 (3.1%) have graduated from other departments.According to the research, pre-school teachers think that pre-school music education is important in development of the children.According to results of the research, about applying the music education that they had in pre-school teacher program and the problems they faced, no difference was found between the women and the men teachers opinions.In the light of research findings, according to served institution of pre-school teachers, there are differences on some items. These playback music, musical development, which should be considered in the selection criteria for songs, music activities self-sufficient vision, creating a music part (corner) and music-related problems, song teaching techniques and methods. In these items, there is a difference in favour of the teachers’ scores in private schools. İt is determined that private schools have no problems in creating music part(corner) and supplying materials related with music.According to the research; some of the pre-school teachers think that their music education they had in university is inadequate. İt is appeared that pre-school teachers have some difficulties in using an accompaniment instrument while applying music events.According to the thoughts of pre-school teachers, in service training seminars about music are inadequate. They also specified that in service training seminars about music must be opened.According to the result of the research; it is determined that pre-school music events must be applied by the music teachers. ÖZETGİTAR EĞİTİMİNDE ÜSTBİLİŞSEL BECERİLERİN GELİŞTİRİLMESİNE YÖNELİK ETKİNLİKLERİN PERFORMANS BAŞARISINA ETKİSİBu araştırmada, gitar eğitiminde üstbilişsel becerilerin geliştirilmesine yönelik etkinliklerin öğrencilerin üstbilişsel farkındalık düzeyleri, gitar performans başarıları ve gitar dersi bilgi düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisinin saptanması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın yöntemine dayalı olarak gitar öğrencilerinin performanslarını planlamalarını, izlemelerini, değerlendirmelerini ve düzenlemelerini sağlamak ve öğrenmedeki farkındalık düzeyini arttırmak amacıyla; dizgeli eğitim modeline göre, üstbiliş becerilerinin geliştirilmesine yönelik etkinlikleri içeren, 14 haftayı kapsayan ve 14 üniteden oluşan bir gitar dersi öğretim programı hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu (N=10), Marmara Üniversitesi Atatürk Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalında 2008-2009 eğitim-öğretim yılında gitar eğitimine devam eden ikinci, üçüncü ve dördüncü sınıf gitar öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır.Araştırmada, gitar eğitiminde üstbilişsel becerilerin geliştirilmesine yönelik etkinliklerin öğrencilerin üstbilişsel farkındalık düzeyleri, gitar performans başarıları ve gitar dersi bilgi düzeyleri üzerindeki etkisini saptamak için deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırma öntest-sontest kontrol gruplu deneysel desen modeline göre tasarlanmıştır. Gitar öğrencilerinin denklikleri incelendikten sonra, yansız atama yöntemiyle (random) deney (n=5) ve kontrol (n=5) grupları oluşturulmuştur. Her iki grubun belirlenmesinde grupların özelliklerinin denk olmasına özen gösterilmiştir. Araştırma yöntemine dayalı olarak 14 haftalık dizgeli (programlandırılmış) öğretime göre hazırlanan gitar dersi eğitim programı deney grubuna uygulanırken, kontrol grubunda ise var olan normal süreçte eğitim-öğretime devam edilmiştir. Bununla birlikte, araştırmacı tarafından deney grubu öğrencilerine her hafta üniteler dâhilinde kendi öğrenmelerini planlama-izleme ve değerlendirmelerine yönelik King (1991) tarafından geliştirilen düzenleyici kontrol listesi ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan bir düşünme güncesi verilmiştir. Deney grubu öğrencilerinden belirlenen hedef ve davranışlar kapsamında üstbiliş becerilerin geliştirilmesine yönelik olarak ders dışı çalışmalarında kontrol listesini takip etmeleri ve öğrenmelerine yönelik olarak öz değerlendirme yapabilmeleri için araştırmacı tarafından düzenlenen düşünme güncesini yapılan çalışmalara paralel olarak her hafta doldurmaları istenmiştir. Her iki gruba da deney öncesi ve deney sonrası ölçmeler yapılmıştır.Araştırmanın verilerini elde etmek amacıyla Üstbilişsel Farkındalık Envanteri, Gözlem Formu ve Başarı Testi olmak üzere üç ölçme aracı kullanılmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinde, her değişkene ait deney ve kontrol gruplarından elde edilen öntest ve sontest verilerinin çözümlenmesinde ilişkili grup Wilcoxon Testi kullanılmış; bu test ile, uygulanan eğitim sonucunda, deney ve kontrol gruplarının araştırmanın bağımsız değişkenleri açısından nasıl bir gelişme gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca deney ve kontrol gruplarının deney öncesi denkliklerini ve deney sonrası ulaştıkları son seviyeleri belirlemek amacı ile öntestler ve sontestler üzerinde tek yönlü sınamayı gerçekleştirebilmek için ilişkisiz grup Mann Whitney U Testi kullanılmış; bu test ile, uygulanan eğitim sonucunda hangi grubun deney sonunda daha yüksek seviyeye ulaştığı belirlenmiştir. Verilerin analiz edilmesiyle elde edilen sonuçlarda, deney grubundaki öğrencilerin uygulama süreci sonunda üstbilişsel farkındalık düzeylerinde, gitar performans başarılarında ve gitar dersi bilgi düzeylerinde artış olduğu görülmüş; ayrıca bu artışın kontrol grubuna oranla daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Sonuç olarak, gitar eğitiminde dizgeli eğitim modeline göre hazırlanmış üstbilişsel becerilerin geliştirilmesine yönelik etkinliklerin öğrencilerin üstbilişsel farkındalık düzeylerini, gitar performans başarılarını ve gitar dersi bilgi düzeylerini arttırmada klasik eğitime göre yapılan gitar eğitiminden çok daha etkili ve geliştirici olduğu saptanmıştır. Anahtar Sözcükler: Gitar Eğitimi, Üstbiliş, Üstbilişsel Beceriler, Gitar Performans Başarısı.ABSTRACTTHE EFFECTIVENESS OF ENHANCING THE METACOGNITIVE SKILLS IN GUITAR EDUCATION FOR PERFORMANCE ACHIEVEMENTThe aim of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of enhancing the metacognitive skills in guitar education on students’ achievement in their guitar classes, in guitar performance, and in metacognitive awareness.An educational program is prepared in order to enable students to plan, observe and comment to their performance on guitar as well as to enhance the students’ metacognitive skills. This program comprises fourteen units to be applied in fourteen weeks. Participants (N=10) in this research are second-year, third-year and fourth-year college students in guitar performance majors during the 2008-2009 calendar year at the Department of Music Education at Marmara University.The experimental method is executed in order to assess the effectiveness of enhancing the metacognitive skills in guitar education on students’ achievement in their guitar classes, in guitar performance, and in metacognitive awareness. It is modeled on the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design; students are assigned to two categories: the experimental group (n=5) and the control group (n=5). Groups, however, are randomly divided into two categories with equivalent skill levels.The designated program for guitar education, which was particularly prepared for this research, is applied to the students in the experimental group throughout fourteen weeks whereas students in the control group keep following the regular curriculum. Each week throughout this fourteen-week experiment, students in the experimental group are provided a journal that was prepared by the researcher as well as the Regulatory Checklist, which was modeled after King (1991), to gather the data about planning, observing and commenting to their own performance on guitar. Besides being asked to follow the Regulatory Checklist in out-of class practice, students in the experimental group are also asked to fill out a journal each week which was prepared by researcher in order to self-evaluate their progress due to an effort to enhance students’ metacognitive skills. Moreover, pretests and posttests are applied to both groups. During the assessment process, three research tools are used: the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory, an observation form, and an achievement test. The data that was gathered through the pretests and posttests are analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test for paired samples of the experimental group and the control group. Furthermore, Mann Whitney U-Test is also used for independent samples of each individual group to determine which of the two has accomplished more compared to the other.As a result, students in the experimental group demonstrated considerable improvement in terms of achievement in their guitar classes, in guitar performance, and in metacognitive awareness. Furthermore, improvement that was accomplished by the experimental group is significantly advanced compared to the students in the control group. In sum, it shows that the program, which is particularly prepared for this research, outstandingly enhances students’ achievement in their guitar classes, in guitar performance, and in metacognitive awareness compared to the students who are educated with traditional methods.Key words: Guitar Education, Metacognition, Metacognitive Skills, Guitar Performance

ÖZETBu araştırma “İlköğretim kurumlarında Yer alan Müzik Faaliyetlerine Alternatif Bir Gitar Öğretimi” ve etkinliğinin sınanması üzerinedir. İlköğretim yedinci sınıf öğrencilerinin klasik gitar becerilerini gözlemleyerek, klasik öğretim yöntemlerinin ve CD kayıtlı akorlarla klasik eserleri çözümleyip seslendirme öğretiminin uygulandığı, farklı şekilde eğitim alan deney ve kontrol grupları arasında anlamlı farklılık olup olmadığını incelemek için beşerli iki grup olarak on öğrenciye bu deneysel çalışma uygulanmıştır. Araştırmanın başlangıcında sosyo-ekonomik düzey ve cinsiyet değişkenlerine göre deney grupları eşitlenmiştir. Her iki grubada üç ay süresince haftada birer buçuk saat klasik gitar eğitimi verilmiştir. Araştırmada son test modeli kullanılmıştır.Kontrol grubuna klasik gitara başlangıç için hazırlanan Arenas I kitabı klasik yöntemlerle, deney grubuna klasik yöntemlerle Arenas I metodu ve tarafımızca hazırlanan CD kayıtlı akorlarla klasik eserleri çözümleyip seslendirme öğretim yöntemi uygulanmıştır.Eğitimin sonunda kontrol ve deney grupları arasında bir fark olup olmadığını incelemek amacıyla ölçü aracı olarak “Klasik Gitar Performans Testi” geliştirilerek gruplara uygulanmıştır. Bu sayede oluşabilecek bir değişimin gitar eğitimi üzerindeki etkileri de izlenmiştir.ABSTRACTThis work aims at testing the availability of a guitar education method which can be an alternative to those used in elemantary education. In our work we observed the classical guitar skills of seventh grade students and applied both traditional teaching methods and new teaching method which consists of analysing and vocalizing the classics from CD registrations. This work was applied to two groups including five students each in order to find out if there is a significant difference between the control and experiment groups which are given different educations. At the beginning of the investigation these two groups were equalized in terms of socio- economical and sexual features. Both groups were given classical guitar education for one and a half hour a week for three months. Post- testing modal was used in the investigation.Control group was applied the book Arenas I which is a book for the beginners with conservative methods, while experiment group was applied a new method which consisits of analysing and vocalizing the classics from CD registrations, besides the traditional methods with the book Arenas I. ÖZETAraştırma, İlköğretim İkinci Kademe’de görev yapan Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) alanı mezunu müzik öğretmenlerinin, okul şarkılarına eşlik etmede karşılaştıkları problemlerin ve gitarın bu alandaki kullanılabilirliğinin ilgili öğretim elemanları ve öğretmen görüşleri doğrultusunda değerlendirilmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evreni, Türkiye’deki, Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları’nda görevli, ilgili öğretim elemanları ve İlköğretim okullarında görev yapmakta olan, Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) alanı mezunu müzik öğretmenleridir.Öğretim elemanlarının görüşlerinin belirlenmesi doğrultusunda, Marmara Üniversitesi, Gazi Üniversitesi, Abant İzzet Baysal Üniversitesi ve Selçuk Üniversitesi’nden 6 kişilik bir örneklem grubu oluşturulmuştur.Müzik öğretmenlerinin görüşlerinin doğrultusunda ise, tüm Türkiye’den, İlköğretim okullarında görev yapmakta olan, Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) alanından mezun olmuş 35 kişilik bir örneklem grubu oluşturulmuştur.Araştırma, 2006-2007 eğitim-öğretim yılıyla ve ulaşılabilen müzik öğretmenleri ile ilgili öğretim elemanları ile sınırlıdır.Öğretim elemanları ve müzik öğretmenlerinden, anketler aracılığı ile görüşler alınmış, anketler sonucunda elde edilen veriler istatistiksel işlemlere tabi tutulmuştur.Birinci anketten elde edilen bulgulara göre, öğretim elemanları, fakültelerde uygulanmakta olan Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersinin içeriğini, haftalık ders saati, çalgı tekniklerini, akor pozisyonlarını, Türk ve yabancı bestecilere ait seçkin örnek ve yazılı kaynak kullanarak ya da doğaçlama eşlik yapmaya yönelik uygulamaların durumu içerikleri bakımından yeterli bulmamışlardır.Öğretim elemanları, dersin, Orkestra/Oda Müziği, Eğitim Müziği Besteleme ve Eşlik (Korepetisyon) gibi ilgili diğer derslerle olan ilişkisini yetersiz bulmuşlardır.Öğretim elemanları, gitarı, ses genişliği, gürlüğü, çoksesliliğe elverişli yapısı, kullanılabilen ritmik yapılar ve efekt sesler bakımlarından, okul şarkılarına eşlik etmede uygun bir çalgı olarak tanımlamış, öğretmenlik uygulamasına, müzik dersinin verimine ve öğrencilerin müzikal gelişimlerine olumlu katkı yapacağı görüşünde birleşmişlerdir.Öğretim elemanlarına göre, okul şarkılarına eşlik etme alanında gitar için yazılmış mevcut kaynaklar; sayı ve içerik bakımından yeterli görülmemiştir.İkinci anketten elde edilen bulgulara göre, müzik öğretmenleri fakültede aldıkları Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersinin içeriğini; haftalık ders saati, çalgı tekniklerini, akor pozisyonlarını, Türk ve yabancı bestecilere ait seçkin örnek içerikleri bakımından yeterli bulmamıştır. Yine, müzik öğretmenleri, dersin; diğer çalgılara, farklı türlerdeki okul şarkılarına, farklı ritmik karakterlere eşlik etme uygulamalarında yetersiz olduğu görüşünde birleşmişlerdir.Araştırmadaki çarpıcı bulgulardan biri de, müzik öğretmenlerinin çoğunun, Bireysel Çalgı Eğitimi (Gitar) dersinin, eşlik yapma becerisi kazandırmada yeterli olmadığını düşünmeleridir.Öğretmen görüşlerine göre, gitar dersi ile ilgili olan diğer dersler arasında uyum söz konusu değildir ve Öğretmenlik uygulaması derslerinde, gitarın sınıf ve eşlik çalgısı olarak kullanılmasına yönelik yeterli uygulamalar yapılmamıştır.Öğretmenler de, gitarın eşlik çalgısı olarak kullanılmasının sağlayabileceği faydalar konusunda öğretim elemanları ile aynı fikri paylaşmışlar, gitarın, kesinlikle, uygun bir eşlik çalgısı olduğunu belirtmişlerdir.Son olarak, araştırmada, öğretmenlerin mevcut kaynakları sayı ve içerik bakımından yeterli bulmadıkları, birçoğunun derslerde kendi hazırladıkları eşlik çalışmalarını kullandıkları görülmüştür. Bu durum, yapılan eşliklerin niteliği kontrol edilemediği için, çok sağlıklı bulunmamıştır.ABSTRACTThis study has been conducted with the purpose of evaluating “the problems in accompaniment to the school songs, with which the music teachers, who are graduated from the field of Guitar Education and teaching second degree classes in primary schools, are confronted” and “usability of the guitar in this aspect”, in accordance with the opinions of the related academic educators and the teachers. The source group of this study consists of the related academic educators who are working in Fine Art Education Music Departments and Guitar Education gradute music teachers who are working in primary schools. For taking the opinions of academic educators, it has been formed a sample group of six people from Marmara University, Gazi University, Abant İzzet Baysal University and Selçuk University. For taking the opinions of music teachers, it has been formed a sample group of thirty-five people who are graduated from the field of Guitar Education and teaching second degree classes in primary schools of all over Turkey.This study is limited only within 2006-2007 education year and the music teachers and related academic educators that could be contacted with. The opinions of the academic educators and the teachers have been taken by poll method and the results have been calculated by statistic methods. According to the findings in the first poll, the academic educators think that the content of the Individual Guitar Education lesson, which is being studied at the universities, is inadequate in teaching period a week, teaching chord progressions and instrument techniques, the existence and variety of selected pieces of Turkish or foreign composers, the practise of accompaniment skills either by using written sources or improvising.The academic educators also think that this lesson is not associated adequately with the other lessons like Orchestral/Chamber Music, Educational Music Composition and Accompaniment (Correpetition).They define the quitar as an instrument appropriate for accompaniment to the school songs owing to its register, volume, usable polyphonic form, usable rhytmic forms and sound effects. They also think that, it has good effects on teaching activity, musical creativity and the development of musical attitude of the students.According to the findings in the second poll, the music teachers think that the content of the Guitar Education lesson they had at the university was inadequate in teaching period in a week, teaching chord progressions and instrument techniques, the existence and variety of selected pieces of Turkish or foreign composers. Again, the music teachers say that this lesson is inadequate in accompaniment to the other instruments, different kind of school songs and different rhytmic characters.In this study, one of the remarkable findings is that most of the teachers think that Guitar Education lesson is insufficient because it doesn’t teach accompaniment skills well and effecive enough to use.According to the teachers’ opinions, there is no consistency between the guitar lesson and the other related lessons. In teaching activity lessons, there hasn’t been any adequate study for the guitar to be used as an instrument of class and accompaniment. The teachers agree with the academic educators on the opinion that the guitar is an absolute instrument appropriate for accompaniment and its advantages in the lessons can be very effective.Finally, in this study, it has been found out that the teachers do not think the amount and the content of existing sources are sufficient for the lessons. It is seen that most of them use their own accompaniments. However; since the quality of these accompaniments cannot be controlled, they are not accepted completely appropriate.
