In this paper, we use car-following theory to study the traditional vehicle's running cost and the electric vehicle's running cost. The numerical results illustrate that the traditional vehicle's running cost is larger than that of the electric vehicle and that the system's total running cost drops with the increase of the electric vehicle's proportion, which shows that the electric vehicle is better than the traditional vehicle from the perspective of the running cost. In this paper, we propose an extended helicopter's rescuing model to explore the effects of multiple rescuing points on each helicopter's flying behavior during the whole rescuing process from the numerical perspective. In this paper, we propose a macro traffic flow model to explore the effects of the driver’s bounded rationality on the evolutions of traffic waves (which include shock and rarefaction waves) and small perturbation, and on the fuel consumption and emissions (that include CO, HC and NO X ) during the evolution process. The numerical results illustrate that considering the driver’s bounded rationality can prominently smooth the wavefront of the traffic waves and improve the stability of traffic flow, which shows that the driver’s bounded rationality has positive impacts on traffic flow; but considering the driver’s bounded rationality reduces the fuel consumption and emissions only at the upstream of the rarefaction wave while enhances the fuel consumption and emissions under other situations, which shows that the driver’s bounded rationality has positive impacts on the fuel consumption and emissions only at the upstream of the rarefaction wave, while negative effects on the fuel consumption and emissions under other situations. In addition, the numerical results show that the driver’s bounded rationality has little prominent impact on the total fuel consumption, and emissions during the whole evolution of small perturbation. In this paper, we apply a car-following model, fuel consumption model, emission model and electricity consumption model to explore the influences of energy consumption and emissions on each commuter’s trip costs without late arrival at the equilibrium state. The numerical results show that the energy consumption and emissions have significant impacts on each commuter’s trip cost without late arrival at the equilibrium state. The fuel cost and emission cost prominently enhance each commuter’s trip cost and the trip cost increases with the number of vehicles, which shows that considering the fuel cost and emission cost in the trip cost will destroy the equilibrium state. However, the electricity cost slightly enhances each commuter’s trip cost, but the trip cost is still approximately a constant, which indicates that considering the electricity cost in the trip cost does not destroy the equilibrium state. In this paper, we propose a car-following model to explore the influences of the electric vehicle’s driving range on the driving behavior under four traffic situations. The numerical results illustrate that the electric vehicle’s behavior of exchanging battery at the charge station can destroy the stability of traffic flow and produce some prominent jams, and that the influences are related to the electric vehicle’s driving range, i.e., the shorter the driving range is, the greater the effects are. In this paper, we use car-following model to study the effects of battery exchange at the on-line charging station on the vehicle’s driving behavior and running time. The numerical results illustrate that battery exchange will produce one prominent starting process at the upstream of the charging station and one prominent braking process at the downstream of the charging station and enhance each vehicle’s running time and the system’s total running time and that the influences of battery exchange on each vehicle’s driving behavior (including the starting and braking processes, the personal running time and the system’s total running time) are directly related to each vehicle’s arrival rate at the origin, the electric vehicle’s proportion and each electric vehicle’s series number in the vehicle fleet.
