Effigy is a relief carving of a human face on a half-round, oval piece of stone. The nose is prominent. Eyes are deep-set and round under high, arching eyebrows. The prominent lips are stylized. Ears are small and stylized. There is a large vertical groove on the back side. The effigy is made of brown sandstone. Nose, lower lip and lower portions of both ears have been restored with painted plaster.

Complete Newtown Cordmarked ceramic vessel, with repairs, has a flat lip. The rim flares outward slightly from the neck. Shoulders and base are rounded. Cordmarking on the neck goes all the way to the rim and is vertical; cordmarking on the body of the pot is more random in appearance. The vessel is gray, light reddish brown and very dark gray in color.

Large, smooth, rounded, engraved stone artifact is roughly triangular in shape. One side of the item has incised lines in a crosshatch pattern. On the other side there are incised lines that depict a serpent-like creature with large teeth, a fish-like tail and exaggerated spines decorated with crosshatching. A zigzag line is drawn from the eye to the heart. The artifact is made from black Ohio shale. It has been broken into three pieces and glued together.

This sub-oval, sandal-sole gorget is elongated, concave, and rounded on either end. The obverse face is decorated with the profile in relief of a bear with an attached umbilical cord partially surrounding the animal. There are also three unequally-spaced small perforations along the long axis. Ancient and modern repairs have been made to the item.

Small clay effigy of a human head is mottled dark reddish gray, light reddish brown, black and dark reddish brown. The eyes are oval and eye sockets are formed by deeply incised lines. There are distinct eyebrow ridges with some incised lines to indicate eyebrows above the right eye. Nose has two indentations denoting nostrils. The mouth is slightly open and a ridge denotes the lower lip. There are projections on either side for ears that are well-shaped with ear and ear lobes. Behind the left ear, running from the base to the forehead, is a gash that measures 76.6 mm in length. Behind the right ear, there is a gash running from the top of skull to the base that measures 74 mm in length. Base is flat where the neck would begin. There is a 19.7 mm hole in the base, roughly circular in shape, that extends into the head. There is also a hole that is 3 mm in diameter. The back of the head is somewhat flattened. On the top are two holes, roughly 6.3 mm in diameter, that extend into the head. Gash across the forehead measures 41.7 mm in length. Item has been extensively restored.

Many fragments from a large, thick grit-tempered ceramic vessel have been glued together. Most of the base is missing and has been restored with foam material. The complete pot was egg-shaped with a flat rim. There are two lug handles that are broken. The vessel is undecorated. It is dark reddish gray and dark gray in color.

Very large obsidian blade is typical of the Ross Barbed type. It has deep corner notches, a somewhat triangular base and slightly flaring ears. The tip is slightly rounded. The artifact has been broken into at least six pieces and reglued. Portions have been restored, including the tip and portions of the base.

Rectangular gray sandstone plate is decorated on one side with engraved designs that may represent abstract birds and human faces. The obverse side contains several deep grooves where bone tools were sharpened. This item is known as the Wilmington Tablet.

Stylized effigy of a human head was made from a very thin plate of copper that was likely molded around a roughly triangular piece of wood or similar material. It has a prominent straight nose. The mouth has been incised, as have both eyes. Both ears are molded and incised. The right ear has been damaged. There are broken edges at the top of the head and just beneath the chin, suggesting that the effigy was originally larger. The copper is brownish gray but has corroded in some areas to pale green.
