The article reports on how to solve some common problems reported by the visually impaired in optometry practice. As reported, it is important to remember that one of the most important roles of the eye care practitioner is to impart good, up to date, but easily understood information in an environment where any questions may be answered to a satisfactory standard. It is also important for optometrists and dispensing opticians to remember a couple of things about hand magnifiers.
