Diplomsko delo obravnava vlogo športa v družini predšolskega otroka. V teoretičnem delu smo se ukvarjali z družino, njenim bistvom, njenimi nalogami in vlogo, ki je ključnega pomena pri oblikovanju otrokovih izkušenj, navad ter vrednot, tudi pri športnem udejstvovanju. Vsebina diplomske naloge se torej dotika tako družine kot tudi športa. Osredotočili smo se na predšolskega otroka in na družino, v kateri živi. Pobližje smo spoznali, kakšen je otrokov gibalni razvoj, kako lahko starši vplivajo na športne aktivnosti otroka, kakšen je pomen športnih dejavnosti za otrokov razvoj, kako je pomembno gibalno okolje in kakšne so lahko športne dejavnosti za predšolske otroke. Namen empiričnega dela diplomske naloge je bil preučiti vlogo športa v družini predšolskega otroka. Izveden je bil anketni vprašalnik za starše iz podeželskega in mestnega okolja, ki so ga prejeli v vrtcu svojega otroka. Pridobljene rezultate smo dopolnjevali s teoretičnimi izhodišči in jih primerjali s postavljenimi hipotezami, ki smo si jih zastavili na začetku diplomskega dela. Ugotovili smo, da se je športno udejstvovanje v družinah predšolskega otroka povečalo. The thesis deals with the role of sport in the family of the preschool child. In the theoretical part we dealed with the family, it`s essence, the tasks of the family and it`s role which is crucial for shaping the child`s experiences, habits and values even in sports activities. The content of the thesis relates to the family and the sport. We focused on the preschool child and the family which he or she belongs to. We discussed in detail the child`s motor development, the influence of parents in the child`s sports activities, the importance of sports activities for child`s development, the importance of physical environment and different sports activities for preschool children. The purpose of the empirical part was to study the role of sport in the family of the preschool child. The parents from the rural and urban environment got the questionnaires in kindergartens which their children attend. The results obtained were supplemented by theroretical starting points and compared to the hypotheses which had been set in the beginning of the thesis. We found out that sports activities in the families of preschool children have increased.

Diplomska naloga, naslovljena kot Spolna vzgoja v družini predšolskega otroka, je sestavljena iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. Za navedeno temo smo se odločili, ker še vedno gre za eno izmed tabu tem. Zanimalo nas je, kako se starši predšolskih otrok soočajo s spolno vzgojo oziroma ali ocenjujejo, da je le-ta v predšolskem obdobju že potrebna. Raziskali smo tudi težave, s katerimi se starši predšolskega otroka srečujejo ob poučevanju otroka o spolnosti ter navedli nekatere rešitve. Namen naloge predstavlja tudi raziskava, kako (posledično) sprejemajo spolnost predšolski otroci, v katera spolna dejanja so vpleteni, ter kako reagirajo v določenih spolnih situacijah. Ugotavljali smo tudi, kako mediji vplivajo na spolno vzgojo oziroma kakšno vlogo pri tem igrajo. Na podlagi strokovne in znanstvene (tuje) literature smo opredelili teorije in mnenja različnih avtorjev o obravnavani temi. Uporabili smo raziskovalno metodo spletne ankete, v kateri so sodelovali starši otrok, starih med 4 in 6 let. Pridobljene rezultate smo statistično obdelali z računalniškim programom Microsoft Excel. Ugotovitve raziskave so pokazale, da večina staršev predšolskih otrok dandanes ne obravnava spolnosti kot tabu temo, iz katerega razloga lahko tudi potrdimo, da so v večji meri že omenjali spolne teme v lastni družini. Ugotovili smo, da veliko staršev predšolskih otrok nima nobenih težav pri poučevanju svojih otrok o spolnosti, da se o tem preprosto med seboj pogovorijo. V določenih spolnih situacijah precej staršev reagira dokaj primerno, medtem pa se jih še vedno nekaj najde, ki ravna neprimerno. Na podlagi odzivov staršev smo ugotovili, da večina otrok ne gleda na določeno spolno situacijo kot prepovedano, ampak jo normalno sprejema, kot vsak zdrav razvijajoč se otrok. Prav tako se večina staršev strinja, da imajo mediji agresivnejši vpliv na spolno vzgojo ter da knjige pri tem predstavljajo učinkovitejšo rešitev. The diploma thesis Sex Education in the Family of a Preschool Child has a theoretical and an empirical part. We have decided for this topic because it still remains one of the taboo topics in our modern world. The main focus was on the fact how do parents of preschool children evaluate or react on the importance of sex education in the preschool period. We have also explored the issues that occur while teaching a child about sexuality and added some possible solutions. The additional purpose of the diploma thesis was also the research on how do preschool children react or accept sexuality, in which sexual acts are they directly involved, and how they react in specific sexual situation. We have found out how the media affect sex education and which part do they take in the process. Based on a professional and scientific literature, we have defined many theories and personal opinions of different authors that explore the topic. Our research method was the online survey that was given to the parents of the preschool children, aged from 4 to 6 years. The given results were statistically processed with a Microsoft Excel. The findings of our study showed that the majority of parents of preschool children do not agree with sexuality being a taboo topic. Consequently, we can confirm that they had mentioned or discussed sexual topics within their families. We discovered that the majority of parents do not have major problems when teaching the preschool children about sex and sexuality, and that they tend to talk freely about the topic. In specific situations, some parents react appropriately, while a minority might react in an inappropriate way. Based on parents’ responses, we found out that most children do not consider a specific sexual situation forbidden, but they normally accept it as healthy developing children would do. In addition, the majority of parents agree that the media have aggressive influence on the sex education and that books represent a better and more effective solution on how to teach the preschool children about the sensitive topic.

Tema magistrske naloge so nekateri sociološki vidiki učencev s čustvenimi in vedenjskimi težavami (ČVT) prvega in drugega vzgojno-izobraževalnega obdobja. V teoretičnem delu magistrske naloge smo predstavili značilnosti učencev s ČVT ter opisali vzroke za pojav in pojavne oblike, v katerih se ČVT najpogosteje pojavljajo. Opisali smo psihosocialne dejavnike, ki vplivajo na ČVT ter raziskali, kakšne vrste pomoči lahko nudimo učencem s tovrstnimi težavami. Raziskava je temeljila na neslučajnostnem priložnostnem vzorcu učiteljev z osnovnih šol v Koroški in Štajerski regiji, ki v šolskem letu 2015/2016 poučujejo v prvem ali drugem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju in imajo v razredu učenca, ki kaže znake ČVT. Pri tem so nas zanimale razlike med razredom in spolom učencev s ČVT ter delovnimi izkušnjami anketiranih učiteljev. Kot merski pripomoček smo uporabili spletni anketni vprašalnik. Na podlagi rezultatov je bilo ugotovljeno, da se znaki ČVT pri učencih pokažejo že v prvem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju, da imajo razredni učitelji ključno vlogo pri prepoznavanju in pomoči učencem s ČVT, da je družinsko socialno okolje glavni povzročitelj ČVT ter da je vedenje učencev po ocenah učiteljev najpogosteje odraz neupoštevanja pravil in razvajenosti ali pomanjkanja emocij in pozornosti v domačem okolju. Ocenjujemo, da ti otroci potrebujejo pomoč, ki jim jo najpogosteje nudijo razredni učitelji v sodelovanju s strokovnjaki in starši. Ugotovili smo, da so učenci s ČVT v drugem vzgojno-izobraževalnem obdobju med sovrstniki slabše socialno sprejeti, da so sovrstniki manj tolerantni in ne odobravajo njihovega vedenja, saj motijo učni proces in se jih bojijo. Anketirani učitelji menijo, da imata športna vzgoja in šport pozitiven vpliv na samopodobo učencev s ČVT in njihovo socialno sprejetost med sovrstniki. The subject of this master’s thesis is Some Sociological Aspects of Pupils with Emotional and Behavioral Difficulties in the First and Second Educational Period. In the theoretical part we introduced the characteristics of pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties, and at the same time we described the causes of occurrence and forms in which these difficulties appear most frequently. We described psychosocial factors which affect the emotional and behavioral difficulties, and we also researched the types of assistance that can be offered to pupils with such difficulties. Our research was based on non-probability, convenience sample of teachers from elementary schools in Carinthia and Styria, who teach in the first or secondary educational period in the school year of 2005-2016 and have a pupil in class with emotional and behavioral difficulties. In the process we were interested in the differences of pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties by grade and sex, and in the differences of interviewed teachers by work experiences. As a metric accessory we used an on-line survey questionnaire. The results showed that the signs of pupils’ emotional and behavioral difficulties are already shown in the first educational period, that the class teachers have a crucial role in recognition and in offering help to pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties, that family social environment is the main cause of emotional and behavioral difficulties, and that by teachers’ reckoning the behavior of pupils is most frequently the reflection of failure to respect the rules and of being spoiled or lacking emotions and attention in home environment. We evaluate that these children require assistance which is most frequently offered by class teachers in association with professionals and parents. We established that pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties in the second educational period are less favorably socially accepted by peers, that peers are less tolerant and do not approve their behavior because these children disturb the learning process, and peers fear them. Teachers believe that physical education and sport have a positive influence on self-image of pupils with emotional and behavioral difficulties, and on their social acceptance between peers.

Predšolski otrok ob sebi nujno potrebuje odraslo osebo, ki ga usmerja, vzgaja in uči. Starši, skrbniki ali strokovni delavci se morajo za otroka zavzeti in mu nuditi čim boljše življenjske pogoje. V teoretičnem delu diplomskega dela so navedeni in opisani razlogi, kaj starše ali skrbnike privede, da začnejo zanemarjati svojega otroka, na kakšne načine to počnejo in kako se predšolski otrok ob tem počuti. Razčlenjene so vrste zanemarjenosti in vsaka izmed njih je posebej opredeljena. Predšolski otrok v času zanemarjanja trpi, zato je pomembno, da se problemi in težave odpravijo. Opisani in navedeni so pristopi k reševanju zanemarjanja ter predlogi kako pomagati tudi staršem ali skrbnikom. Pomembno je, da starši ali skrbniki s tem dejanjem nemudoma prenehajo in ga več ne ponavljajo. V empiričnem delu diplomskega dela so navedeni rezultati ali obstajajo razlike med mestnimi in podeželskimi otroci glede na higieno, ali se otroci ločenih staršev manj gibajo, kateri starši ali skrbniki (zanemarjenih ali ne zanemarjenih otrok) pogosteje komunicirajo z vzgojitelji in ali obstaja povezava med ustvarjalnim področjem otroka ter izobrazbo staršev ali skrbnikov. Vsi pridobljeni podatki iz anketnih vprašalnikov so bili obdelani s programom SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) in prikazani v tabelah. A preschool child urgently needs an adult person which guides and educates him. Parents, guardians or practitioners must take great care of the child and provide him with the best possible living conditions. The theoretical part of this thesis consists of stated and characterized reasons regarding what leads parents and guardians towards a neglecting behavior of their child, how they are neglecting the child, and how does a preschool child feel. Moreover, the types of neglect are analyzed and each of the types is defined individually. During the period of neglect a preschool child is suffering badly, due to that it is necessary the problems and issues get eliminated. Described and stated are also the approaches for solving neglect, and how to help parents and guardians. It is of great importance that parents and guardians immediately stop with their neglecting behavior and do not repeat it. The empirical part of this thesis presents the results of whether there is a difference between urban and rural children regarding hygiene, if children of divorced parents are less physically active, which parents (of neglected or not neglected children) frequently communicate with the educators, and whether there is a link between the creative area of a child and the education of their parents or guardians. All data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed by SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) and presented in tabular form.

Diplomsko delo je bilo osredotočeno na družino predšolskega otroka, in sicer tisto, ki biva v ruralnem okolju. V teoretičnem delu smo tako opredelili splošna spoznanja o družini, nalogah družine, vlogah v družini, kjer smo izpostavili vlogo matere in vlogo očeta, o vrstah družin, ki se pojavljajo, in preleteli temeljne spremembe družinskega življenja. Opredelili smo se na družino s predšolskim otrokom in pojasnili vrste vzgoje v družini. Dotaknili smo se tudi religije v družini, pojasnili položaj otroka v družini ter skušali opredeliti pojem »otrok«. Nato smo predstavili pojem podeželja nekoč in danes, njegove spremembe skozi čas vse do danes. Pregledali smo bivanje družine s predšolskim otrokom na podeželju in ob tem skušali opredeliti prednosti in pomanjkljivosti podeželja v primerjavi z mestnim okoljem. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati na temo družina predšolskega otroka na podeželju. Kot raziskovalni instrument smo uporabili anketni vprašalnik, ki ga je izpolnilo 83 staršev predšolskih otrok, ki otroke vpisujejo v OŠ Cankova, vrtec pri OŠ Cankova in VVE Kuzma ter starše, ki živijo v občini Cankova in otrok ne vpisujejo v vrtec. Zanimalo nas je, če prihaja na območjih podeželja na Goričkem do kakšnih sprememb v zaposlitvenem statusu staršev s predšolskimi otroki, ali so se spremenile oblike družin, kakšen je njihov svetovni nazor in opremljenost s sodobno tehnologijo. Ugotavljali pa smo predvsem, kakšno varstvo omogočajo otrokom med tednom in kakšno med vikendom. Prav tako nas je zanimalo, katera dejavnost jim prinaša glavni dohodek. Dali pa smo jim tudi možnost subjektivnega mnenja o prednostih in pomanjkljivostih otrok, ki živijo na podeželju v primerjavi z mestnimi otroki. Podatke, pridobljene s pomočjo anketnih vprašalnikov, smo obdelali s programom SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) in jih predstavili tabelarično. The diploma thesis is focused on the family of a preschool child, specifically in the rural area. The theoretical part encompasses the general knowledge on subject of family, its duties and family roles, highlighting the role of the mother and of the father. Also discussed are types of family and basic changes in the family life. We focused on the family with a preschool child and explained different types of upbringing. We also touched upon the subject of religion in the family, explained the child’s position in the family and tried to define the term “child”. Also presented is the notion of rural area, in the past and present, with its changes through time. We examined the family’s living in the rural area and tried to define the advantages and disadvantages of the rural area compared to city. The empirical part presents results on the subject of preschool child’s family in the rural area. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, filled out by 83 parents enrolling their preschool children in Elementary School Cankova, the kindergarten of the Elementary School Cankova and the kindergarten in Kuzma. We were interested in whether there are any changes on the rural areas in Goričko in the parents’ employment status, changes in the types of family, what is their world-view and the level of modern technology equipment. We were especially focused on the type of day care for the children during the week and during the weekend. We were also interested in which activity is the main source of their income. We also offered them an option to give their subjective opinion on the advantages and disadvantages of children living in the rural area compared to children living in the city. The acquired data was processed with the SPSS program (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) and presented in the tabular form.

V teoretičnem delu naloge smo se osredotočili na obravnavo družine, vrtca, šole in njihovega medsebojnega sodelovanja. Posebno pozornost smo namenili opredelitvi družine. Zanimalo nas je, kakšno vlogo in funkcijo družina opravlja ter kakšni tipi družine obstajajo. V nadaljevanju smo opredelili vrtec in njegovo vlogo ter funkcijo opravljanja. Pomembni vidik v vrtcu so vzgojitelji in njihovi pomočniki. Opredelili smo tudi, kakšno je sodelovanje vrtca s starši. Nato smo opisali delovanje šole in njene funkcije ter vloge. Predstavili smo tudi učiteljevo vlogo in sodelovanje šole s starši. Posebno pozornost smo namenili medsebojnemu sodelovanju družine (staršev) in vzgojno-izobraževalne institucije. V empiričnem delu smo naredili primerjavo stališč staršev otrok v vrtcu in staršev otrok v osnovni šoli. Osredotočili smo se na primerjave stališč glede sodelovanja z vzgojno-izobraževalno institucijo. Zanimalo nas je, ali obstajajo razlike v stališčih staršev glede sodelovanja s šolo oziroma vrtcem. Dobljeni empirični rezultati so pokazali, da obstajajo razlike v stališčih staršev glede na vrsto izobraževanja njihovih otrok. Tako starši otrok v vrtcu kot starši otrok v osnovni šoli aktivno sodelujejo v vzgojno-izobraževalnem procesu svojega otroka. In the theoretical part we focused on family, kindergarten, school and their mutual cooperation. Special attention was devoted to a definition of a family. We were interested in the role and the function of the family and also what types of family exists. In addition we defined the kindergarten and its role and function. The important aspect in the kindergarten represents the teachers and their assistants. We also defined the cooperation between the kindergarten and the parents. Next, we described operation of a school, its functions and its roles. We also presented the role of a teacher and cooperation between the school and the parents. Special attention was devoted to a reciprocal cooperation between the family (the parents) and educational institutions. In the empirical part we made a comparison between points of view of parents of children in kindergarten and parents of children in elementary school. We focused on a comparison between points of view regarding educational institution. We wanted to know if there exist any differences in points of view, regarding cooperation with school or kindergarten. The results show that the differences exist in points of views of the parents according to the type of education of their children. Both parents of children in kindergarten, as parents of children in elementary school cooperate actively in educational process of their child.

Družina in šport sta ključna dejavnika v diplomski nalogi. Ukvarjali smo se z družino, njenim bistvom, vidiki, tipologijo in vlogo, ki pripomore k oblikovanju otroka tako v socialnem kot športnem smislu. Za predšolskega otroka je družina ključnega pomena. V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena sama družina, v kateri poteka primarna socializacija. Sama vsebina diplomske naloge se nagiba tako k družini kot k samemu športu. Osredotočili smo se predvsem na predšolskega otroka, na družino, v kateri živi, kakšen je njegov položaj, kakšna je vloga in funkcija družine in kako družina pomaga predšolskemu otroku pri športnem udejstvovanju. V teoretičnem delu diplomske naloge smo poleg omenjenega opredelili šport in pomen športa tako za družino kot tudi za predšolskega otroka – športnika. Pobližje smo si pogledali različno teorijo, tako o družini kakor o športu. Zanimalo nas je, kako blizu sta si družinsko življenje in šport. Skozi empirični del smo raziskali jasen pogled na športno udejstvovanje družine. Starši iz primestnega in/ali mestnega okolja so izpolnjevali v vrtcu anketne vprašalnike za svojega otroka. Pridobljene rezultate smo dopolnjevali s teorijo in jih primerjali s postavljenimi hipotezami, ki smo si jih zastavili na začetku diplomske naloge. Ugotovili smo, da se je športno udejstvovanje v družini povečalo. Family and sports are the key elements in this diploma work. We were occupied with the family, its basis, aspects, typology, and its role which helps with child development, as well in social sense as in the aspect of sports. The family is essentially important for the preschool children. This diploma work presents the family as a place of primary socialization. The content of this diploma work includes both, the family and sports. We focused on the preschool child, the family the child lives in, his position in this family, the family's role and function, and the way the family helps the child participate in sports activities. Beside aforementioned, the theoretical part of this diploma work defines sport and the importance of sport for the family and for the preschool child - a sportsperson. We examined various theories about family and sports. We were interested in how families and sports are connected. The empirical part researches thoroughly how families participate in sports activities. Parents of suburban or/and urban environment were asked in kindergartens to fill out the questionnaires for their children. The given results were then completed with theory and compared to the theses we set up at the start of this diploma work. We could establish that participating of families in sports activities has increased.

Magistrsko delo Vloga starih staršev v modificirani razširjeni družini s sociološkega vidika obravnava spremenjene vloge starih staršev v modificirani razširjeni družini v slovenski postmoderni družbi. V nalogi so podane nekatere sociološke, antropološke in psihološke teorije staranja in vloge starih staršev. Predstavljen je zgodovinski vidik modificirane razširjene družine ter pluralizacija družinskih oblik v postmoderni družbi. Skozi spremenjeno vlogo staršev in starih staršev v slovenski in evropski postmoderni družbi so prikazani različni modeli prehajanja mladih v odraslost. Modificirana razširjena družina je v nalogi izpostavljena kot institucija podpore mladim z medgeneracijskimi transferji. Empirični del magistrskega dela podaja kvantitativno raziskavo in njene izsledke, s katerimi smo želeli ugotoviti, kolikšna je vloga starih staršev znotraj modificirane razširjene družine v slovenski postmoderni družbi. Ugotavljali smo, v kolikšni meri stari starši predstavljajo oporo »mladi družini« v okviru medgeneracijskih transferjev ter v kolikšni meri »mlada družina« starim staršem vzajemno vrača oporo. Ugotovili smo, da starši oz. stari starši v Sloveniji znotraj modificirane razširjene družine v zadnjih desetletjih ponovno pridobivajo na pomenu, saj mladi družini v različnih obsegih nudijo razne oblike opore (emocionalno, finančno, materialno, instrumentalno). Rezultati dokazujejo, da na pojav modificiranih razširjenih družin vplivajo tudi odnosi med vsemi tremi generacijami: starimi starši, starši in vnuki, ki so navadno zelo dobri. Njihova vzajemna medsebojna podpora in medgeneracijski transferji so kljub relativno dobro organiziranim socialnim, zdravstvenim, vzgojno-varstvenim in drugim družbenim dejavnostim zelo pomembni in dobrodošli. Master’s thesis The grandparent's role in modified extended family from the sociological point of view deals with the changed role of grandparents in modified extended family in Slovene post-modern society. The master’s thesis includes some sociological, anthropological and psychological aging theories and the role of grandparents. Historical point of view of the modified extended family and pluralisation of family forms in post-modern society are presented. Through the changed parental role of parents and grandparents in Slovene and European post-modern society are shown different models of proceeding of the youth to adulthood. Modified extended families in the master’s thesis are exposed as a support institution to the youth with intergenerational transfers. The empirical part of the master’s thesis presents quantitative research and its results, which was used to find out what is the role of grandparents inside the modified extended family in Slovene post-modern society. We were trying to find out to which extent grandparents represent support to a »young family« in the framework of intergenerational transfers and to what extent »a young family« mutually gives back support to grandparents. We found out that parents or grandparents in Slovenia inside the modified extended family have been regaining in importance again in the last decades, as they offer young family various ways of support in different amount, such as emotional, financial, materialistic and instrumental. Results proof that the phenomenon of modified extended families is also influenced by relationships between all three generations: grandparents, parents and grandchildren, which are usually very good. Their mutual support and intergenerational transfers are despite relatively well organized social, health, educational and other social activities very important and welcome.

Diplomsko delo z naslovom Predšolski otrok in zobozdravnik je sestavljeno iz dveh delov, teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu smo predstavili zgradbo zob in razvoj zobovja v predšolskem obdobju. Velik poudarek je na negi otroških zob, ki zajema različne tehnike umivanja zob in sredstva za ustno higieno. Pri ustni higieni je najpomembnejša vloga staršev, vzgojitelja in pa seveda samega zobozdravnika, katerega pristop in obravnavo določajo starost, razvoj in bolezensko dogajanje otroka. Izpustiti ne smemo tudi pomen preventivnih pregledov, saj je bolezni lažje preprečiti kot zdraviti. Brez dvoma lahko rečemo, da otroški zobozdravnik s svojim delom in sodelovanjem s starši, vzgojitelji in učitelji izoblikuje odnos otroka pacienta do zobozdravnika ter zobozdravstva in vzgoji sodelujočega ali odklonilnega pacienta za vse življenje. Empirični del zajema ugotovitve, ki smo jih pridobili s pomočjo anketnega vprašalnika, ki so ga izpolnili starši predšolskih otrok vrtca Braslovče. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti začetek ustne higiene pri predšolskem otroku, poznavanje pravilne tehnike umivanja zob, pogostost umivanja zob, starost otroka ob prvem obisku zobozdravnika, odnos zobozdravnika do predšolskega otroka in pomen preventivnih pregledov. Z rezultati anket smo prišli do dejstev, ki nakazujejo, da so starši dovolj skrbni pri negi ustne higiene predšolskega otroka, poznavanju pravilne tehnike in pogostosti umivanja zob in redno sodelujejo in obiskujejo zobozdravnika, katerega odnos do malčkov naj bi bil s strani staršev zadovoljiv. The diploma thesis etitled Preschool child and the dentist consist of two parts: theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part introduces tooth development and their structure of preschool child. Great emphasis is placed on the care of children's teeth, which covers a variety of techniques and means brushing your teeth for oral hygiene. Oral hygiene is the most important role of parents, preschool teachers and of course dentist itself, whose treatment approach and determine the age and development of illness child. Parents must be aware of teeth prevention. It's easier to prevent disease than cure. Without doubt, we emphasize that children's dentist whose work and cooperation with parents, preschool teachers, form a relationship a child patient to a dentist and dental care and education to participating or adverse patient for life. The empirical part of the findings, which were obtained through a survey questionnaire completed by the parents of preschool children kindergardten Braslovče. The purpose of this study was to determine the beginning of oral hygiene in preschool children, knowledge of proper techniques brushing your teeth, frequency of brushing teeth, child's age at first visit to the dentist, the dentist relationship to preschool children and the importance of prevetnivnih reviews. The results of the survey, we get to the facts, suggesting that parents are sufficiently diligent oral hygiene care for preschool children, knowledge of proper techniques and frequency of brushing your teeth regularly and visiting the dentist involved, and whose attitude towards children to be satisfactory by the parents.

V diplomskem delu smo želeli raziskati vrednote, ki so povezane z vzgojo otrok (odgovornost, samostojnost, postavljanje meja, disciplina, zgled, doslednost, popuščanje, sprejemanje drugačnosti, brezpogojna ljubezen, poslušnost, sporazumevanje). Želeli smo pridobiti mnenje staršev o pomenu teh vrednot pri vzgoji ter mnenje staršev o pomanjkljivih lastnosti pri otrocih in starših v današnji družbi. Diplomsko delo je sestavljeno iz teoretičnega in empiričnega dela. V teoretičnem delu smo namenili pozornost ključnim vrednotam, ki so povezane z vzgojo. Obravnavali smo vrednote, ki bi jih pri vzgoji morali imeti in upoštevati starši ter vrednote, katere bi otrokom starši naj privzgojili. Omenili smo z zakonom določeno odgovornost staršev, razliko med vzgojo nekoč in danes ter različne vzgojne stile. V empiričnem delu smo raziskali razlike v odgovorih na vprašanja glede uspešne vzgoje. Naš cilj je bil ugotoviti, ali imajo starši različnih starosti, spola, izobrazbe in različnega bivanja enako mnenje glede lastne odgovornosti za uspešno vzgojo. Na splošno smo želeli tudi ugotoviti, kaj je po oceni staršev njihova odgovornost za uspešno vzgojo. In this thesis we wanted to explore values that are associated with raising children (responsibility, independence, setting boundaries, discipline, goodexample, consistency, and indulgence, acceptance of differences, unconditional love, obedience, and communication). We wanted to get the opinion of parents about the importance of these values in education and parents' opinion about the defective features at the children and also at parents in today's society. The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical work. The theoretical work was paid attention to corevalues that are related to education. We have discussed the values, which should have the parents when they raise the children, which they should consider during the educational process and could be imparted to the children. We mentioned the statutory responsibility of parents, the difference between education in the past and present and also different educational styles. In the empirical work we explored the differences in the responses to questions concerning a successful education. Our goal was to determine if the parents with different ages, gender, education and different stay have the same opinion about own responsibility for the successful education. In general, we wanted to find out what is considered by the parents of their responsibility for successful growing.

V doktorski disertaciji smo obravnavali značilnosti problematike izpostavljenosti otrok, predvsem pa mladostnikov, nasilju v družini v različnih zgodovinskih obdobjih. S komparativno analizo in pregledom empiričnega raziskovanja tako v globalnem kot v slovenskem okolju, smo opravili tudi pregled socioloških teoretskih pristopov na tem področju, kot tudi značilnosti slovenske zakonodaje in prakse. Predstavili smo značilne preventivne pristope v nekaterih drugih državah in možnosti preventivne dejavnosti v Sloveniji. Izpostavili smo vlogo in možnosti šole pri preprečevanju izpostavljenosti otrok in mladostnikov nasilju v družini. Namen empiričnega dela disertacije je bil zapolnitev vrzeli na področju raziskovanja izpostavljenosti slovenskih mladostnikov nasilju v družini. Osredotočili smo se na srednješolsko populacijo in med 1200 srednješolci, izbranimi v raziskovalni vzorec, anketirali 1087 srednješolcev iz vseh slovenskih regij. V drugi raziskovalni vzorec pa smo vključili šolske svetovalne delavce iz 100 slovenskih srednjih šol in anketirali 60 šolskih svetovalnih delavcev. Potrdili smo naše predvidevanje, da je obseg izpostavljenosti slovenskih srednješolcev nasilju v družini bistveno večji, kot ga prikazujejo uradni statistični podatki. Delež naših srednješolcev, ki so izpostavljeni različnim oblikam nasilja v družini, je visok (40,2 %) in neodvisen od spola žrtve. Med oblikami nasilja, ki so jim srednješolci izpostavljeni v svoji družini, smo potrdili prevladovanje psihičnega nasilja. Izpostavljenost srednješolcev nasilju v družini je značilna za družine vseh družbenih slojev, vendar predstavlja nizek socialno-ekonomski status družine, predvsem pa slabo materialno stanje družine, značilni rizični dejavnik. Rezultati kažejo, da večina srednješolcev, ki so izpostavljeni nasilju v družini, ne prepoznava prisotnosti nasilja v svoji družini in ne išče pomoči. Senzibilnost šolskih strokovnih delavcev za prepoznavanje izpostavljenosti srednješolcev nasilju v družini in nadaljnje prijave je zelo različna. Pomembni oviri za prijavo sta vrednotenje zasebnosti družine in strah srednješolcev pred prijavo. Pri obravnavi problematike izpostavljenosti srednješolcev nasilju v družini pa izstopa problem nezadostnega medinstitucionalnega sodelovanja. Na osnovi spoznanj teoretičnega in empiričnega dela disertacije smo oblikovali predlog socialnoekološkega preventivnega modela preprečevanja izpostavljenosti otrok in mladostnikov nasilju v družini. The dissertation deals with the characteristics of issues of children’s exposure, adolescents especially, to domestic violence through various historical periods. With comparative analysis and examination of the empirical part in a global and Slovene environment, an analysis of the sociological theoretical aspects of this area as well as the characteristics of the Slovenian legislation and praxis has been done. Typical preventive measures in some other countries and the possibilities of the preventive activity in Slovenia have been introduced. The role and the possibilities of a school in preventing the exposure of children to the domestic violence have been exposed. The purpose of the empirical part of the dissertation was to fill up the gaps in the area of research about the exposure of Slovene adolescents to domestic violence. The focus was on the secondary school population, and among the 1200 secondary school students chosen for the sample, we interviewed 1087. The second sample included school counsellors in 100 Slovenian secondary schools, of which we interviewed 60 school counsellors. The anticipation that the level of secondary school children’s exposure to domestic violence is essentially higher than presented by the official statistical data has been confirmed. The segment of secondary school students exposed to various forms of domestic violence is high (40,2 %) and gender independent. Among the forms of violence the secondary school students are exposed to in their families, the prevalence of mental violence has been confirmed. The exposure of the secondary school students to domestic violence is typical for families of all social stratus but a low socio-economical status of a family, a low material welfare in particular, present a typical risk factor. The results show the majority of students exposed to domestic violence do not recognize its presence in their families and do not seek help. Sensibility of the school counsellors to recognize the exposure of the secondary school students to domestic violence and to report it further is different. The valuation of family’s privacy and the students’ fear of reporting are substantial obstacles. A problem of insufficient interinstitutional co-operation with dealing with the problem of exposure of the secondary school students to domestic violence stands out. Based on the result of the theoretical and empirical part of the dissertation a proposal of socio-ecological preventive model for preventing exposure of children and adolescents to domestic violence has been formed.
