A fundamental element of quality improvement is ensuring patients' satisfaction with anesthetic care. A part of the quality of care is also patient satisfaction. Patient satisfaction rises as service quality is improved. Additionally, a major factor in determining a patient's loyalty is the level of care provided and the happiness of the client. Aim of the study: To study patient's satisfaction about perioperative anesthesia care among patients underwent anesthesia. Method: A cross-sectional design was conducted in Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority and Dr. Abdulkader Mutawakil hospitals during from 15 June to 15 July 2022, data was collected from 345 patients using an interviewing close-ended structured questionnaire filled by the author and the data were analyzed using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS). Results: satisfaction with the services provided and anesthesia, as 71.9% of the total study sample were completely satisfied, while only 28.1% showed dissatisfaction about the services and anesthesia. The majority of the sample were satisfied about care provided to them before the surgery by 67.2%, while 32.8% of the total study sample were dissatisfied. The majority of the sample were satisfied about care provided to them after surgery by 80%, while 20% of the total study sample were dissatisfied. Conclusion: The majority of patients at Dr. Abdulkader Mutawakil Hospital and Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority reported being satisfied with the anesthesia services they received.
