A series of Ba
1-x Cux Fe12 O19 (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, and 0.8) (BFCU) nanoparticles were prepared via hydrothermal method at low operating temperatures. The X-ray diffraction patterns confirmed the hexagonal structure of BFCU nanoparticles. The surface morphology of x = 0–0.8 evidenced the existence of nanospheres like grains/particles. The Maxwell–Wagner's interfacial polarization was understood in the dielectric constant versus frequency plots. Further, the M-H loops of x = 0.2–0.8 samples showed the well-defined hysteresis behavior. The saturation magnetization was evaluated using the law of approach saturation (LAS) plots. The weight loss and crystallization, transition, and melting temperatures were extracted from TG-DTG and TG-DSC plots. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published
