Highlights: [•] Changes in protein abundance after wounding ‘Golden Delicious’ apples were evaluated. [•] Proteins without abundance changes were mainly involved in metabolism, response to stress, and oxidation-reduction processes. [•] Proteins with abundance changes 48h after wounding were mainly involved in response to stress.
