Low-dimensional perovskite materials are gaining broad interest for the development of high-performance optoelectronic devices due to their improved stability and rich compositions. Herein, we investigate the surface morphology, crystal structure, photo-physics, and electroluminescence properties of 1,4-diaminobutane hydrobromide (BDADBr)-derived quasi-two-dimensional perovskites. PL maximum is blue-shifted by 30–40 nm, and the photoluminescence quantum yield, photo-stability, and environmental stability of perovskite materials are enhanced upon the addition of BDADBr. Incorporation of a proper amount of polyethylene oxide leads to a two–threefold increase in the maximum EQEs of related green and sky blue light-emitting devices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
