This study, which examines the opinions of the psychological counselors about the subspecialty areas of psychological counseling and guidance services, is a descriptive research based on qualitative research approach. The study group consists of 10 psychological counselors (5 females and 5 males) working at different levels of teaching and working at different professional levels. At the end of the study, it has been found out that the answers given by the participants about the subspecialty areas of psychological counseling and guidance are “family counseling”, “crisis intervention counseling”, “school counseling”, “rehabilitation counseling” and “career counseling”. It was concluded that they found “family counseling” to be more important than the other subspecialty areas; but they found themselves more adequate in “school counseling”. The majority of the participants stated that they were able to develop and support themselves in order to increase their competences in the subspecialty areas.

Psikoloji alanındaki bazı yaklaşımlar (ör. psikanaliz) saldırganlığı doğuştan getirilen, bazıları ise (ör. davranışçılık) sonradan kazanılan bir davranış olarak tanımlar. Bununla birlikte bu davranışın kalıtım-çevre etkileşiminin bir ürünü olduğu ve farklı psiko-sosyal değişkenlerle ilişki sergilediği, günümüzde daha yaygın kabul edilen bir görüştür. Önceki çalışmalarda, saldırganlık eğilimlerinin daha basit araştırma modelleriyle açıklanmaya çalışıldığı gözlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada bağımlı değişken olarak seçilen saldırganlığı daha iyi açıklamak için karmaşık bir modelin oluşturulması tercih edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda çalışmanın temel amacı; saldırganlık eğilimlerinin, mükemmeliyetçilik, affetme ve stresle başa çıkma değişkenleriyle ilişkilerini incelemektir. Araştırmada aynı zamanda bazı demografik değişkenlere bağlı olarak, saldırganlık eğilimlerinde gözlenen farklılıkların incelenmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma grubu, Türkiye'nin farklı şehirlerinde bulunan yedi üniversitede öğrenim gören, 2800 öğrenciden (Kız= 1519, Erkek=1281) oluşmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında Çok Boyutlu Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği, Heartland Affetme Ölçeği, Yakın İlişkilerde Çok Boyutlu Başa Çıkma Ölçeği, Buss-Perry Saldırganlık Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, orta öğretim öğrencilerinin mükemmeliyetçilik düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla, araştırma 2007-2008 Öğretim Yılında Ankara ili merkezinde dört farklı okulda orta öğretime devam 439 kız ile 152 erkek olmak üzere toplam 591 öğrenci ve 209 anne ile 199 baba olmak üzere toplam 408 veli ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmada, Özbay ve Mısırlı Taşdemir (2003) tarafından Türkçeye uyarlanan Çok Boyutlu Mükemmeliyetçilik Ölçeği ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, Pearson Momentler Çarpım Korelasyonu, t-testi ve ANOVA testi kullanılmıştır.Araştırma sonucunda,Mükemmeliyetçilik ölçeğinin ?Davranışlardan Şüphe?, ?Ailesel Beklentiler?, ?Ailesel Eleştiri?, ?Hatalara Aşırı İlgi? alt ölçeklerinden öğrencilerle anne ve babaları arasında olumlu yönde ilişki vardır. ?Kişisel Standartlar? alt ölçeğinde sadece anneler ile öğrenciler arasında olumlu yönde bir ilişki olmakla birlikte, ?Düzen? alt ölçeğinde ise öğrenciler ile anne ve babaları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki yoktur.Öğrencilerin, akademik başarı düzeylerine göre mükemmeliyetçilik ölçeğinin tüm alt ölçeklerinde, psikolojik yardım alıp almamalarına göre ise sadece ?Düzen? alt ölçeğinde anlamlı bir farklılık vardır. Bununla birlikte, cinsiyetlerine göre sadece ?Davranışlardan Şüphe? alt ölçeğinde; sosyo-ekonomik düzeylerine göre ise ?Düzen? ve ?Kişisel Standartlar? alt ölçeklerinde anlamlı farklılık vardır. Anne ve babalarının eğitim düzeyine ve okudukları okul türüne göre ?Kişisel Standartlar? alt ölçeği dışında diğer tüm alt ölçeklerde anlamlı farklılık vardır. Devam ettikleri alana göre sadece ?Ailesel Eleştiri? ve ?Hatalara Aşırı İlgi? alt ölçeklerinde annelerinin çalışıp-çalışmamasına göre ise sadece ?Düzen? alt ölçeğinde anlamlı farklılık vardır. The purpose of this study is to examine the level of perfectionism in secondary school students in terms of different variables. In this scope, this study was performed with 408 parents, 439 female and 152 male, in total 591, students attending to secondary school in four schools in center of Ankara in 2007-2008 instruction year. In this study, Multidimensional Perfectionism Scale, adapted to Turkish by Özbay and Mısırlı Taşdemir, and Personal Information Form, prepared by the researcher, were used. In data analyzing, Pearson Moments Product Correlation, t-test and ANOVA test were utilized.According to the results of the study;?Doubts About Actions?, ?Parental Expectations?, ?Parental Criticism? and ?Concern Over Mistakes? sub-scales scores of parents and students were positively related; in ?Personal Standards? sub-scale scores of students were positively related with only mothers? scores. In ?Organization? sub-scales scores; there were no relations between the students and parents.In all sub-scales of perfectionism scale, scores of students differentiated according to the academic achievement level. Moreover, scores received in ?Organization? sub-scale differentiated according to whether or not psychological help was taken. Although Scores received in only ?Doubts About Actions? differentiated according to the gender, Scores received in ?Organization? and ?Personal Standards? differentiated according to the socio-economic level. Apart from ?Personal Standards?, Scores received in all sub-scales of perfectionism differentiated according to the educational level of parents and the types of schools. Scores received in only ?Parental Criticism? and ?Concern Over Mistakes? differentiated according to the continuing field. Furthermore, Scores received in only ?Organization? differentiated according to whether or not mother was working. Different researchers have tried examining the results of expectations that affect people’s starting and continuing to smoke. These expectations can differ in terms of being a smoker, non-smoker, or ex-smoker. These expectations are also associated with age. So many scales have been developed in order to study the expectations of adults, youngsters, adolescents, and children about smoking. This study aims to adapt the Smoking Expectancy Scale for Adolescents (SESA) to Turkish culture. This scale has been adapted by basing itself on a study conducted over 720 university-level students with an average age of 17.5. The confirmatory factor analysis carried out in the investigation determined the SESA to have a 6-factor structure in Turkish. These factors are: affect control and boredom reduction, health costs and addiction, appearance-presentation costs, weight control, social benefits, and social costs. Additionally, the two dimensions of the scale, like the original scale, are seen as expected benefits and expected costs.
