This study aims to establish common fixed point theorems for a pair of compatible self-mappings within the framework of extended parametric Sb-metric spaces. To support our assertions, we provide corollaries and examples accompanied with graphical representations. Moreover, we leverage our principal outcome to guarantee the existence of a common solution to a system of integral equations.

This article introduces the novel concept of an extended parametric Sb-metric space, which is a generalization of both Sb-metric spaces and parametric Sb-metric spaces. Within this extended framework, we first establish an analog version of the Banach fixed-point theorem for self-maps. We then prove an improved version of the Banach contraction principle for symmetric extended parametric Sb-metric spaces, using an auxiliary function to establish the desired result. Finally, we provide illustrative examples and an application for determining solutions to Fredholm integral equations, demonstrating the practical implications of our work.

In this article, we mainly discuss the existence and uniqueness of fixed point satisfying integral type contractions in complete metric spaces via rational expression using real-valued functions. We improve and unify many widely known results from the literature. Among these, the work of Rakotch (1962), Branciari (2002), and Liu et al. (2013) is extended. Finally, we conclude with an example presented graphically in favour of our work.

Our aim in this communication is to present a new type of contraction and common fixed point results for non-continuous self mappings without using the compatibility and commutative property. Moreover, we have found common fixed point without using the Cauchy’s criterion for convergence. Some illustrative examples with graphical representation and remarks are given to justify that the contraction introduced in the main result is new and unique, which will be useful for future researches.

The role of Fuzzy topology in logic programming and algorithm has been recognized and applied on various programs to and more accurate result. In particular, topological methods are employed in order to obtain fixed point semantics for logic programs. In this paper, we prove some fixed point theorems in fuzzy metric spaces. As an application, some consequence theorems are given in support of our result.

In this paper, without assuming continuity, commutativity and compatibility of self maps, some common fixed theorem for weak contraction of integral type in complete metric spaces are proved. An example and some remarks are also given to justify that our contraction is new and weaker than other existing contractions.

A class of generalized ( ψ , α , β ) —weak contraction is introduced and some fixed-point theorems in a framework of partially ordered metric spaces are proved. The main result of this paper is applied to a first-order ordinary differential equation to find its solution.
