Objective: To validate the Inventory of Teachers' Negative Attitudes towards the Care of Students with Diabetes Mellitus type 1 (INAPAD) and to study its reliability using Cronbach's Alpha and McDonald's Omega coefficients. Methods: This study describes the design and validation process of the INAPAD nursing scale in a sample of 382 teachers in the stages of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate and Vocational Training in a Spanish province. In order to validate the INAPAD, its reliability has been studied using Cronbach's Alpha and McDonald's Omega Coefficients. Hence, the construct validity has been evaluated through exploratory factor analysis by principal components and varimax rotation. Results and conclusion: The findings obtained inform the viability of the INAPAD to be used as an effective instrument for the diagnosis of prejudice or predisposition of educators towards the care of learners with type 1 DM and for the prediction of the success of psycho-pedagogical measures and of the care for children and adolescents with diabetes. Background: Generativity has been associated with resilience and life satisfaction in older age, including among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT+) older adults. Objective: To examine the psychometric properties of the Loyola Generativity Scale (LGS) and Generative Behavior Checklist (GBC) for Spanish LGBT+ older adults (over the age of 50). Methodology: A psychometric study was conducted with 141 Spanish LGBT+ older adults to examine the construct validity (exploratory factor analysis), convergent validity, and reliability (internal consistency) of the LGS and the GBC. Results: Parallel and exploratory factor analyses suggested a two-factor model with good sample adequacy for both scales. The LGS explained 45.1% of the variance and had an internal consistency of 0.78. The GBC explained 41.76 % of the variance and had an internal consistency of 0.879. A positive and statistically significant correlation was found between life satisfaction and the generative scales. A positive and significant correlation (rs = 0.310) was also observed between both instruments. Introduction: In the absence of continuity of care, actions aimed at the care of users with chronic noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) may be omitted or duplicated, which can potentially worsen users' health. In Mexico and Colombia, in particular, there is no instrument for assessing continuity of care that includes its three essential elements. Objective: To develop an instrument to assess care continuity across levels of care for users with NCDs in Mexico and Colombia and validate the content of the questionnaire through expert judgment of versions adapted to the Mexican and Colombian contexts. Materials and Methods: The Continuity of Care across Levels of Care Questionnaire was designed. The content validation process was carried out by experts using the Delphi technique. Sixteen experts were selected (8 per country). Questionnaire items were assessed in four categories: sufficiency, clarity, coherence, and relevance. Two assessment rounds were conducted to determine the level of experts' agreement. Results: The questionnaire obtained an 'Excellent' overall Content Validity Coefficient in both countries (0.97). Discussion: This instrument, unlike others, assesses the continuity of care in a multidisciplinary manner across the three levels of care from the experience of users with NCDs. Conclusion: The questionnaire achieved the expected content validity using the Delphi technique to assess care continuity across levels of care for users with NCDs, according to the Mexican and Colombian contexts. Background: The arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is the preferred vascular access for hemodialysis. Four different cannulation techniques can be used: Rope Ladder (RL), Buttonhole (BH), Multiple Single cannulation Technique (MuST), or Area Puncture (AP). Objective: To build and validate a decision-making instrument for the optimal AVF cannulation technique in hemodialysis. Methodology: This two-stage methodological study using the Delphi method was conducted between October 2021 and February 2022 with 27 experts. The decision-making instrument for choosing the cannulation technique was divided into four blocks: physical assessment, ultrasound assessment, vascular access graphical representation, and observations. The content validity index ≥ 0.90 was used in the analysis. Results: The instrument's structure obtained the unanimous agreement of the experts and an overall content validity index of 0.94. Objective: to perform translation, cultural adaptation and validation of content and appearance of the instrument "Practice Standards for Nurses Providing Pediatric Cancer Care in Atlantic Canada" into Brazilian Portuguese. Method: this is a study of translation, cultural adaptation and validation of content and appearance of instrument. Eight professionals participated in the committee of judges. Results: there was a need to adapt the semantics and grammatical corrections with the version approved by the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology. The Content Validity Index was adopted. Three rounds were performed to achieve the Content Validity Index =0.8 in 100% of items: first 233 items (96%), second 9 items (90%), third round 1 item. Objective: to validate the content of a research instrument for the application of the Nursing process in sexually transmitted infections. Method: cross-sectional study of the methodological type of content validation with expert judges with quantitative design. The theoretical reference used was the theory of Basic Human Needs, proposed by Wanda Aguiar Horta. The empirical material used was the Clinical Protocol and Therapeutic Guidelines for Comprehensive Care to People with Sexually Transmitted Infections. Results: the reformulations suggested by the expert judges were considered and included in the final version. The validation allowed the verification of the accuracy of the instrument, consisting of 32 terms after two rounds of validation. Conclusion: the development of health technologies and the use of a validated instrument for the nursing process allow to direct care and improve the quality of care, standardizing records and ensuring greater patient safety. Objective: to produce and validate an illustrated guide as a technological resource of information for boys and girls about the vaccine against the Human Papillomavirus. Method: methodological study, conducted in a virtual environment guided by the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) model and by the Contextualized Instructional Design. The participants in the validation of content and appearance were 35 experts in the health area and 35 from other areas. In the semantic evaluation, 20 boys and 22 girls participated. Results: the developed educational technology was an illustrated guide, consisting of 13 topics. Overall content validation was 0.91; appearance validation was 0.95. In the evaluation, the texts had 94.8% and the illustrations, 88.8% of total agreement. The final version consisted of 18 pages in print and digital versions. Final considerations: the guide proved to be valid and adequate to convey information with potential as a didactic resource to mediate educational practices with boys and girls about the vaccine against the Human Papillomavirus.
