Automating the task of high beam switching will significantly reduce glare from oncoming vehicles and thus improving night time driving safety. To avoid temporary blindness and glare from oncoming vehicles, automatic high beam controller is developed. This can be achieved by fixing RF transmitter at starting points of cities. Once a vehicle enters the city, the headlight beam Electronic Control Unit (ECU) in the vehicles receives signal from RF transmitter and the light beam of headlight of the vehicle is automatically switched to a low beam. Once the vehicle leaves the city by crossing RF transmitter the user input is enabled by ECU and the driver can change the beam either high or low manually according to his need. The circuit has been designed and simulated in the Proteus software and accurate switching of the high beam is achieved. This proposed system shows better performance, which will result in safe and glare-free driving at night times. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

An intention to work on the topic of this nature is emanated from the interest to explore alternative technological solution to achieve effective speed control. Objective of the study is to design and develop a new system that can effectively detect speed violations on the road and supports the driver to obey traffic rules while driving by maintaining the speed according to the speed limit prescribed. In the present day scenario traffic rules are frequently violated by the drivers and over speeding occur due to bad driving behavior. So, a driver assistance system is provided to prevent over speeding, violation of road rules and also to display alert messages. The proposed system has an alerting, recording and reporting system for over speed violation management. The proposed system automatically controls the speed of vehicles at speed restricted areas such as school and hospitals. The main reason behind developing this project is to avoid accident of vehicles at speed limit zones and also to help the passengers to cross the road safely without facing any danger from high speed vehicles. Normally, the vehicle drivers not consider the passengers who crosses road in speed limited areas and drive their vehicles at high speed. So, now accidents are increasing in these areas. The traffic police control the traffic but they are not able to avoid the accidents completely. To solve this problem we developed the proposed system, which not interrupts the vehicle drivers and controls the speed of the vehicles up to certain limit in these speed restricted zones. The LCD displays the lane speed limit. Even though the traffic police controls them we cannot achieve full response from them. Also it is not possible to monitor those areas at all time to regulate their speed. This project is very useful for the common people to walk safely in the roads of speed restricted zones-- and also drivers can ride their vehicles safely. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Road accidents are a major problem in today's world. The aim of this research is to provide a solution to prevent such accidents. This project is mainly focused on automatically controlling the speed of the vehicles in speed restricted zones, such as schools, hospitals, and speed limit zones. Currently, the system used for monitoring and controlling speed of vehicles in speed-limited zones is ineffective or non-existent. This work proposes a system for controlling the speed of the vehicles within certain limits in restricted zones without driver intervention, and also checks whether a particular vehicle owner has paid insurance or not. Then it provides an alerts to the owner and the traffic control room in case the payment is not done. In this work, an RF transceiver system is used to indicate the speed limited zones, and upon entering such zones, the speed control system installed in the vehicle automatically adjusts the speed accordingly. The same transceivers also monitor the insurance status of the vehicle, and send relevant messages to the owner of the vehicle. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

TRAFFIC accidents ,RADIO frequency ,SPEED limits ,TRAFFIC safety ,RADIO transmitters & transmission - Abstract
Even in the era of advanced engineering, road accident has been a regular phenomenon causing death of many people in Bangladesh due to over speeding action of reckless drivers. There are several key places (such as schools, colleges, hospitals, highways and constructional areas etc.) where the speed of the vehicle should be lessened to avoid accidents. The roads and highways authority may place the speed limiter signboards in these areas to avoid these accidents, but these are frequently overlooked by the drivers. So this paper demonstrates a wireless forewarning system which will aid to control the speed of the vehicles at speed restricted areas. The whole system is established on the basis of radio frequency (RF) communication. There are two parts of this system named as transmitting unit and receiving unit. Each RF transmitter positioned on the roadside will be transmitting the code signal continuously. Whenever the vehicle enters the range of transmission, the RF receiver which is attached in the vehicle, will receive the signal and will display the information in a LCD monitor by notifying the driver to reduce the speed while going through that area. A single-chip Bluetooth v2.1-compliant CMOS radio SoC that supports Enhanced Data Rates is implemented in standard 0.13 μm CMOS technology. All functions of a Bluetooth radio are integrated in the SoC, including RF, analog and digital parts. The RF transceiver features a polar transmitter, a two-point modulated fractional-N synthesizer, a 500 kHz IF receiver with first order low-pass analog filtering, and a Δ∑ ADC with 74 dB dynamic range. The total SoC die area is 9.2 mm
2 with only 3.0 mm2 for analog and RF circuits. The basic-rate radio power consumption is below 30 mA for both receive and transmit. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]- Published

With advanced technology, people try to avail wireless technologies in different roles. In this paper, the RF modules are implemented as modernized wireless system to overcome the use of wire. RF transmitter and RF receiver are main devices of the system. And then LED, transformer, relay, and push buttons are used as supporting components of the system. HT12E and HT12D are mainly used for decoding and encoding the data. The HT12E encoder IC converts the 4 bit data from the 4 data pins that are connected to buttons into serial data. This serial data is sent to RF transmitter. The RF transmitter transmits this serial data using signals. At the receiver side, the RF receiver receives the serial data. This serial data is sent to HT12D decoder IC which converts into 4 bit parallel data. The 4 data pins of decoder are connected to LEDs. According to the button pushed, the LEDs can be turned ON and OFF meaning that the specific task or function can be carried out by mean of remote predefined key. In today's world, there is a continuous need for wireless control using with transmitter and receiver in standard and modern living. A mobile jammer is a device which is used to jam signals of a cell phone from receiving signals from base stations. Mobile jammer is used majorly where the disturbances that are occurred with the cell phones. So, in this paper we are designing a new Mobile Jammer unit which is capable of blocking the working of a cell phone from not receiving signal from Base Station. This was implemented using FPGA by interfacing Mobile Device, RF Transmitter and RF Receiver and LCD Unit.
