1,3-Dipolar cycloaddition of α,β-unsaturated ketones bearing 1,2,3-triazole moiety with nitrile oxides and sydnones obtained a series of novel 3,4,5-trisubstituted isoxazolines ( 5a 5b 5c 5d 5e 5f 5g 5h) and 1,3,4-trisubstituted pyrazoles ( 7a 7b 7c 7d 7e 7f 7g 7h) with different active pharmacophores in a single molecular scaffold. The structure of the target compounds was confirmed on the basis of IR, 1H NMR, mass spectral, elemental analysis, and X-ray crystallographic analysis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
