The article presents information about the green roof being constructed by the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco, California. The academy is building the green roof on its building. The green roof designed by architect Renzo Piano will be the state's largest eco-roof. The roof will reduce storm water run-off by half. It will also help prevent the release of 405,000 pounds of greenhouse gases.
