Accounting in Europe (AinE) is an international journal that publishes high-quality articles offering new insights for research, practice, policy and regulation. On the occasion of the AinE 20th anniversary, this study presents a retrospective review of the journal's contents. We employ scientometrics to analyse the journal's article impact and co-authorship analysis to depict the collaboration networks of authors and their affiliated institutions and countries. Using bibliographic coupling, we group AinE publications into 11 major thematic clusters. Our study also illustrates the research trends to suggest future research directions and provides valuable insights for the editorial board, scholars, practitioners, and regulators alike. Purpose: Considering the importance of brand positioning for any business and the growing trend of research in this field, the necessity of conducting scientific studies is fully felt. A review of the subject literature and domestic and international research shows that no comprehensive study has been done on this issue. Considering the extent and influence of the field of brand positioning in most business research, the need for clarification is evident to reveal the current situation and future trends based on scientific techniques. To fill this existing deficiency, the present research seeks to answer the question: What is the scientific map of published studies in the field of brand positioning in the Scopus database? Based on this mapping, the study aims to analyze the network of concepts in this field and identify the most valuable areas. It addresses the topics within this field and assists researchers in brand positioning to explain the study process and policy-making in this field based on the identified influential areas. Methodology: The present research is a quantitative, applied, descriptive, and scientometric study based on the objective. The research employed co-word analysis and network analysis techniques. The statistical population comprised all scientific and specialized articles on brand positioning indexed in the Scopus citation database from 1975 to 2023. Initially, the term "brand positioning" was searched in the titles, abstracts, and keywords of the Scopus database. Subsequently, the search was refined to include only articles and reviews, followed by a selection of English language articles. Finally, 577 scientific and specialized articles on brand positioning were chosen for analysis. VOSviewer and Gephi software were utilized for visualizing and analyzing scientific maps of the 577 selected documents. The Scopus database was chosen due to its vast collection of 70 million reviewed research articles from over 5000 international publishers, ensuring relative uniformity. Findings: The research findings reveal that marketing, branding, brand image, brand management, and consumer behavior are the most common topics and keywords in the realm of brand positioning. According to the generated maps and utilizing the closeness centrality index, branding, competition, marketing, brand image, product design, and brand management emerge as the most crucial topics in information dissemination within the network. In essence, they represent categories with an interdisciplinary perspective in the domain of brand positioning. Conclusion: The present study is the first systematic quantitative analysis of brand positioning research in the Scopus citation database, which uses co-word analysis to map the scientific landscape of this field. This study addresses the gap in scientometric research in the literature, aiming to enhance the understanding of brand positioning research from its inception to the present. Research questions were formulated for this purpose and will be addressed in this article. This analysis can serve as a guide for future research in brand positioning. The results indicate an increasing trend in research over the years. The main topics identified in brand positioning research include branding, brand performance, brand social responsibility, destination branding, brand positioning, and brand origin. Through co-citation analysis, key authors in the brand positioning research community were identified, such as Keller, Aaker, Diamantopoulos, and Hayer. Given the significance of green branding (a primary keyword in the corporate social responsibility cluster), the rise in environmental risks, and the impact of green branding on brand sustainability, companies in our country should prioritize this area when establishing and implementing their brand. Purpose: The purpose of this research is to analyze the knowledge structure of Hawraman research in Iran.Methodology: This study employed content analysis techniques, specifically co-word analysis and information clustering. The research community encompassed all scientific outputs from the beginning until 2022.Findings: The findings indicate a significant growth in research on Hawraman over the past two decades, with over 15 geographical areas being studied. Co-word analysis revealed more than 1500 concepts or keywords mentioned, with "Hawraman," "Tourism," "local architecture," and "Hawrami dialect" being the most frequently used concepts. Notably, the conceptual pairs "Hawraman-tourist attractions," "Hawraman-history," and "Hawraman-Palangan" exhibited the highest co-occurrences. Additionally, clustering analysis uncovered 15 main clusters within the field's knowledge. Furthermore, the analysis of conceptual maps showed extensive relationships between concepts, indicating a dense network of interconnected ideas.Conclusion: The Hawraman region has gained substantial attention from researchers due to its unique environmental conditions and UNESCO registration. Consequently, there has been a surge in research, leading to the exploration of numerous concepts. This research provides a comprehensive overview of the current state of Hawraman research and sheds light on the key issues being investigated.Value: This study represents the first attempt at analyzing research data for an area in western Iran.

In 2006, Profesional de la Información (EPI) began to be indexed by international scientific literature databases and is currently one of the leading Spanish journals in Library & Information Science and in Communication. Research fields can be characterized and analysed based on the patterns of keywords used in the publications. One of the most used techniques for this is co-word analysis. This technique is used in the present study to examine the structure of the research published in EPI. The journal's two-fold spirit in Library & Information Science and in Communication is revealed, comprising six main thematic areas. Since no poor behaviour is seen in any of these areas, it can be concluded that, in becoming part of WoS and Scopus, EPI has entered a virtuous cycle that has led it to successfully expand its thematic scope, and to attain levels of impact and excellence superior to those of its origins. Purpose: This study discovers the global knowledge structure of landslide research over the past twenty years in Researchers' research outputs.Methodology: This study uses co-word analysis to determine and visualize the global structure of landslide knowledge, track the most widely used subjects, and choose the conceptual dynamics in research on landslides. This scientometric method was used to study data from the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) regarding 9185 landslide research publications produced from 2000 to 2020.Findings: The keyword “geographic information systems (GIS)” had the highest frequency, and the phrase “landslide susceptibility” was the most often used co-word pair. Co-word analysis produced 15 thematic clusters. Cluster 8 has the highest density among the clusters, and the highest centrality was seen in Cluster 1. Most of the thematic clusters are located in the third quadrant of the strategic diagram, indicating either emerging or declining clusters. The maturity and cohesion of each cluster show their trends. Conclusion: Co-word analysis, as a suitable and powerful tool, can visualize the scientific and intellectual structure of landslides and track the most used topics, and determine the conceptual dynamics and areas of Landslide research, and its results will be of great help to research and practical planners and policymakers. The results of the study significantly help researchers and applied planners and policymakers in adopting appropriate measures to reach more effective solutions in the shortest possible time. Also, develop research evaluation policies, and university managers aimed to create research evaluation policies.Value:The research has also explored the complex relationships governing international studies, illuminates angles, highlights research gaps, and leads scholars and analyses. These results will pave the paths forward for planners and policymakers in organizations and centers actively addressing landslide management’s strategic plans. Subsequent studies could focus on the examination of the networks of collaboration between centers and researchers, and their impacts on decision-making.

Purpose: Considering the importance of knowledge and activities related to knowledge management in the knowledge-based era, as well as the existence of issues such as desire, motivation, and participation of people, it is necessary to design and use tools and mechanisms, such as gamification, to motivate people to participate in activities and processes related to knowledge management. Additionally, there has been a significant amount of research on the combination of knowledge management and gamification. Therefore, the aim of this research is to answer the following questions: 1. What is the status of studies related to gamification and knowledge management in terms of document format, publication language, countries, participating institutions and researchers, participating research areas, and top publications? What are the main subjects that frequently appear together, have a significant impact (receiving citations), and are widely discussed in research on gamification and knowledge management, as determined through co-word analysis and social network analysis? What are the most frequent co-word pairs in these studies? 3. What is the hierarchical clustering of study subjects related to gamification and knowledge management based on cooccurrence analysis? 4. In terms of the maturity and development level of the clusters resulting from the co-word analysis, what is the situation in the strategic diagram related to the studies of gamification and knowledge management? 5. Is there a significant difference between the scientific fields participating in studies related to gamification and knowledge management in terms of the number of citations and records produced? Methodology: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted using the scientometrics approach and employed various techniques including coword analysis, social network analysis, hierarchical clustering, and strategic diagram techniques. The study population includes research studies on gamification and knowledge management from the Web of Science database, spanning from 1991 to 2022. In order to analyze data and draw graphs, Excel, Bibexcel, Histcite, UCINET, VOSViewer, and SPSS are used. Findings: Among the 449 related studies, Fernandez-Manjon, Bee, and Martinez-Ortiz from the United States and the United Kingdom, along with researchers from the Complutense University of Madrid and the University of Taiwan, have made significant contributions to the field of knowledge management and gamification. Notably, the journals Computer & Education and Sustainability have published many influential articles in this area. Publications in this area have shown a steady growth rate, with the highest rate achieved in 2020. Gamification, education, and game-based learning are the keywords with the highest frequencies, with 104, 88, and 66 occurrences, respectively. In terms of citations, the subjects of gender differences and online memory games have the most citations, with 331 and 229 references, respectively. The studies were hierarchically clustered into five clusters. In the knowledge management process through gamification, cluster 3, which focuses on user centricity, has the highest centrality value of 21. Cluster 2, which aims to enhance the efficiency of knowledge management through smartization, has the highest density value of 1.071. Among contributors in various scientific fields, education has the highest level of productivity compared to other areas. Conclusion: Analyzing studies related to gamification and knowledge management can provide valuable insights into the key contributors and subjects, leading to a better understanding of the visions, issues, and dominant discourse. This understanding can ultimately enhance the quality and quantity of products and the practical application of these studies. On the other hand, mapping and identifying the intellectual structure of knowledge in this field helps researchers to focus their studies purposefully and align them with practical topics. This enables them to advance their knowledge in the field. Additionally, the visual representation of the intellectual structure of knowledge in the aforementioned scientific field can offer a scientific perspective on the significant and emerging issues within these fields. The statistical population includes 7438 articles indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) in the field of environmental health in the period 2011-2020. Data analysis was done using cluster analysis method and strategic diagram.Results: The findings showed that in terms of the frequency of public health keywords, air pollution and climate change were the most frequent in environmental health researches. The findings related to hierarchical clustering led to the formation of 10 clusters in this area, and the clusters of "heavy metals" and "air pollution" were identified as clusters with high centrality and density.Conclusion: According to the abundance of keywords and clusters obtained from the strategic diagram, it was found that the topics of heavy metals and air pollution are emerging fields in this field. In the past few decades, scientific communication has become widespread through academic social networks (ASNs). The purpose of this article is to consider ASNs both as a research tool and as an object of study in scientific publications. The scientometric analysis of literature on ASNs was carried out. The literature set consisted of 1,216 records retrieved from the Web of Science (WoS) database. The set included the documents where the ASNs were the scientific research objects or those where the ASNs were only mentioned as a bibliographic data source for systematic reviews or meta-analyses (predominantly in medicine) or as an experimental data repository. It was found that documents on ASNs started to appear in the WoS after 2005. The USA, the University of Wolverhampton (United Kingdom), and M. Thelwall are the country, organization, and author leading in the number of documents on ASNs in the set. The journals published the documents presented by the following subject areas: Computer Science; Computer Science and Librarianship; Mechanical Engineering; Engineering and Technology. Four out of the first ten highly cited documents are devoted to altmetrics in ASNs. The authors used document co-citation analysis via free scientometric analytical software CiteSpace and discovered research fronts. It was found that when the number of publications on ASNs started to rise, scholars began to discuss the community recommendation, professional indexing/folksonomy, and cold-start problem. Later, the altmetrics used in the ASNs became the main subject in the researches of ASNs. The last statement is confirmed by co-word analysis via CiteSpace. It is shown that the most frequent keywords of the studied document set are altmetrics, impact, and citation.

The purpose of this article is to map the state-of-art of entropy, a knowledge domain which has drawn a great interest of researchers from a variety of academic fields in modern times. The journal Entropy, which focuses completely on entropy and is therefore regarded as the most prominent journal, has been purposefully chosen for this study in order to examine the intellectual structure of the field. Data from the Web of Science database for the years 2008 through 2021 were gathered. Scientometric indicators, literature growth, co-authorship, co-citation, keyword co-occurrences, co-word, citation, and bibliographic coupling, are studied using VOS Viewer. Highly cited papers, most prolific authors, countries and institutions are also identified. The results of the study admit that the linear growth trend of entropy articles has increased over the course of the investigation. Highest number of the publications were contributed from China, and the institution that contributed the most articles was the Chinese Academy of Sciences. A cluster analysis of the keywords shows that the research hotspots are primarily focused on "entropy," with the highest frequency and link strength. The high density of the co-words of "entropy," "information," "model" and "Shannon entropy" has also proved them to be the most mature and centralized area of entropy field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose: Clustering and co-word analysis is a method to reveal relationships and links and illustrate the intellectual structure of a scientific field. This research tries to study the intellectual structure of articles in the field of futures studies in Iran by using the technique of co-word analysis. Method: The current research is a descriptive-analytical development with a scientometric approach. The statistical population is 921 articles retrieved records in the field of futures studies. Findings: The findings showed that articles in the field of futures studies in Iran are often associated with positive growth, and in terms of frequency, the keywords scenario, Islamic Republic, and foresight are the most frequent in futures studies. The findings related to the hierarchical clustering led to the formation of 8 clusters in this field, namely "ICT visions", "geographers who love the future", "knowledge development", " Futuristic higher education", "Future of Religion", "Regional Relations", "Strategic Foresight" and "Heavy Weight of Method". Conclusion: According to the findings of the current research and the high frequency of the keyword scenario, as well as the density and relationships of this keyword with other keywords, it can be concluded that the scenario is the dominant approach in futures studies. Background and Objective: Influenza is a global epidemic disease that always causes irreparable damage to individuals and countries' health, and the amount of research in this area is increasing. The primary purpose this study is to discover the hidden patterns and emerging events of global influenza publications. Materials and Methods: This article is an applied type was done with an analytical approach and using the Co-word analysis method. This research's statistical population includes all the keywords of documents indexed with influenza's subject in the WOSCC in the last two decades. The number of keywords studied in this article is 26767. MeSH was used to determine the search strategy for document retrieval. Results: The keywords "Avian Influenza" and "Influenza Vaccine" with a frequency of 1302 and 1264 were the most frequent keywords in the subject area of influenza. Findings related to the analysis of clusters by the hierarchical clustering method created 21 clusters in the field of influenza. Seventeen clusters with the most keywords were the largest cluster. The strategic diagram indicated that most influenza subject area clusters are located in the third quadrant of the strategic diagram and are considered emerging or declining subjects. Conclusion: Discovering the intellectual structure, presenting hidden patterns and emerging events of global publications in the field of influenza infections can help governments, communities, and research centers in understanding research advances, optimizing and managing future research topics, and effectively monitoring and policy-making activities-new research and allocation of facilities and budget.

Aim:This research attempts to reveal the intellectual structure of “Relevance” articles in order to identify the top authors, countries and topical clusters, via co-word, co-author, and science visualization tools. Methodology:This is application research which is conducted by scientometric methodology. Population comprises 2530 records in the field of Relevance during 2009-2018, which had been retrieved from Web of Science. PreMap software is used for homogenization of words, and VOSviewer, and Bibexcel are used for science visualization. Finding:Findings indicate that the most articles were published in 2015 with 293 titles. The scientific map of co-authorship led to creation of 6 clusters. The top authors in scientific co-authorship were Huang, Jose, De rijke, Zuccon, Song, and Scholer. The top countries in scientific co-authorship were USA, China, England, Canada, India, and France. Use of co-word analysis led to the creation of 6 topical clusters in the field of Relevance, including among others: Information retrieval, Search engines, and Relevance feedback. Conclusion:The upward trend of scientific outputs in the field of Relevance during recent years indicates the increasing importance of this field in Library and Information Science. The results indicate that the researchers as well as studying the general and traditional principles of Relevance field have not been unaware of new developments in this field and studied both of them at the same time.

In the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Journal of Human Resources in Hospitality & Tourism, this study presents a comprehensive overview of the journal between 2002 and 2020 based on bibliometric analysis to highlight the key trends and dominant topics in the journal. Bibliographic data were extracted from the Scopus and these data were analyzed using "bibliometrix" tool, a tool for bibliometrics and scientometrics. The findings show the strong growth of JHRHT over time and a huge diversity of publications are published based on human resources practices and issues from around the world, especially the USA, Australia and Turkey. The study's objective is to analyze the structure of knowledge organization studies conducted worldwide. This applied research has been conducted with a scientometrics approach using the co-word analysis. The research records consisted of all articles published in the journals of Knowledge Organization and Cataloging & Classification Quarterly and keywords related to the field of knowledge organization indexed in Web of Science from 1900 to 2019, in which 17,950 records were analyzed entirely with plain text format. The total number of keywords was 25,480, which was reduced to 12,478 keywords after modifications and removal of duplicates. Then, 115 keywords with a frequency of at least 18 were included in the final analysis, and finally, the co-word network was drawn. BibExcel, UCINET, VOSviewer, and SPSS software were used to draw matrices, analyze co-word networks, and draw dendrograms. Furthermore, strategic diagrams were drawn using Excel software. The keywords "information retrieval," "classification," and "ontology" are among the most frequently used keywords in knowledge organization articles. Findings revealed that "Ontology*Semantic Web", "Digital Library*Information Retrieval" and "Indexing*Information Retrieval" are highly frequent co-word pairs, respectively. The results of hierarchical clustering indicated that the global research on knowledge organization consists of eight main thematic clusters; the largest is specified for the topic of "classification, indexing, and information retrieval." The smallest clusters deal with the topics of "data processing" and "theoretical concepts of information and knowledge organization" respectively. Cluster 1 (cataloging standards and knowledge organization) has the highest density, while Cluster 5 (classification, indexing, and information retrieval) has the highest centrality. According to the findings of this research, the keyword "information retrieval" has played a significant role in knowledge organization studies, both as a keyword and co-word pair. In the co-word section, there is a type of related or general topic relationship between co-word pairs. Results indicated that information retrieval is one of the main topics in knowledge organization, while the theoretical concepts of knowledge organization have been neglected. Background and Aim: Acinetobacter baumannii is a major cause of nosocomial infections and is considered one of the most serious health threats worldwide. Several researchers have attempted to study and report this issue to find a solution. In this regard, the observation and monitoring of topic and conceptual priorities are thus crucial. This study aimed to identify and formulate the relationship among topic research priorities of A. baumannii to accurately understand the intellectual structure concerning A. baumannii. Materials and Methods: This scientometric study is quantitative and applied, conducted by using the co-word analysis technique. A total of 10,898 records indexed at the WOSCC were retrieved and analyzed during 2002-2021, and 102 keywords out of 12,060 keywords were selected for analysis. Following the vocabulary homogenization process, the threshold was determined, and UCINET 6.528.0.0 2017, NetDraw (2017), VOSviewer 1.6.14, and SPSS-16 software were used to analyze and preprocess the data and visualize the maps. Results: The keyword 'Multidrug Resistance (MDR)' was in first place among the most frequent keywords of A. baumannii articles. The main concepts of the documents published regarding A. baumannii were obtained using the hierarchical clustering with the Ward method (6 topic clusters). The largest cluster had 27 keywords and 680 links with a centrality of 25,185 and a density of 0.969. The distribution of clusters in the strategic diagram indicated that topic clusters were located in quadrants 1 and 3, including mature and central topics and emerging or marginal topics, respectively. Conclusion: Identifying and monitoring significant topics and conceptual priorities of the A. baumannii area with scientometric techniques is an appropriate tool for determining the intellectual structure of the A. baumannii area, leading optimal and efficient decisions in officials' research financial policy. The co-words analysis, as a scientometric method, helps us to discover the conceptual relationships between scientific texts and application of such relationships as a means to demonstrate important links that may be difficult to discover in other ways. This article is intended to use an analytical approach and identify research areas and to reveal the intellectual structure of knowledge in laser researches in biomedicine literature during 2009-2018. In this descriptive-analytical study with a scientometric approach, the data about laser were retrieved from PubMed in MEDINE format, including 7,682 articles with 18,227 keywords. By using co-word analysis, clustering methods, and strategic diagram; the data were analyzed with the help of SPSS 20, UcInet, and VOSviewer software. This study found that a steady growth could be seen on the laser research and 19.47% of publications are found in 5 journals. The most frequent keywords in the field of laser have been “lasers, solid-‎state”, “laser therapy”, “lasers, ‎excimer”, etc. The results of cluster analysis shaped the concepts of laser in 7 clusters. The cluster “laser, excimer” was well developed and it plays an effective role. In contrast, “Photo ‎chemotherapy”, “skin diseases with Emphasis ‎on Lasers, gas”, “Laser Effects”, “Laser dentistry “and “Corneal Surgery, Laser” were relatively immature, which necessitates potential research space for future study. This research used co-word networks that indicate the important links between keywords of research areas. Disclosing the thorough context of issues which were encountered at the time of investigating, these networks will be used in locating knowledge gaps. Majority of research approaches include treatments or therapeutic aspects of laser in ophthalmology. The lack of some topics such as cardiology, oncology, optogenetics etc. shows that they have not been considered. Moreover, nevertheless of the practice site, application, or system in use, there is the goal of ‎making and keeping a laser-safe environment for the staff, the user, and patient. These subjects have not been sufficiently considered.

The aim of the present study is to visualize the dynamics of conceptual clusters, hidden patterns and emerging knowledge of "cybernetics in Middle Eastern countries" subject area in a global scale based on the co-word analysis of scientific outcomes indexed in the Web of Science database. This research is an applied one, performed with the co-word analysis method and analytical approach. The population includes 2280 keywords from 705 records in the cybernetics subject area in Middle Eastern countries, published in 7 journals indexed in the Web of Science database until 2018. To have a coherence set of data and create the co-occurrence matrix, RavarPreMap software applied. Then, using SPSS 16 and VOSViewer, the subjects were clustered and mapped. Specifications of co-word networks such as centrality and density illustrated using UCInet software in the form of a strategic diagram. Thereby, the situation and evolutionary branches of the cybernetics subject area revealed in Middle Eastern countries. The trend of scientific productions in cybernetics in Middle Eastern counties is incremental. Computer science, with 444 records, is the core subject in the mentioned studies. Researchers’ intellectual structures are identifiable in 12 clusters. The most significant cluster is the twelfth one, named master data mining algorithms and including 20 keywords. The distribution of clusters in the strategic diagram shows that Clusters 1, 2, and 4 are core issues in the subject area.Furthermore, they are mature and coherent, being studied at the core of the research area, having a core and developable role. The co-word analysis is a proper and powerful method in discovering and visualizing science and knowledge, tracking sciences, studying the trend of conceptual dynamicity, identifying and analyzing researchable fields in the subject area of cybernetics. Introduction: Recognizing the current situation and comparing research activities on various topics has made it important today to evaluate research activities using scientometrics techniques. The purpose of this study was to conduct co-word and co-authorship analysis of the articles published in the Journal of Health Information Management (JHIM) from 2009 to 2018. Methods: The data for this study were extracted from Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC). The statistical population of the study consisted of 807 articles published in the JHIM in a ten-year period (2009-2018). Results: Isfahan University of Medical Sciences was the most prolific institution with the production of 236 articles. Over 94% of articles were published collaboratively. Mohammad Hossein Yarmohammadian had the highest scores in terms of centrality indicators. The keyword "hospitals" was the most frequently used keywords in the JHIM. Hierarchical clustering indicated seven clusters with the themes of hospital services and performance, knowledge management in universities, hospital information systems, quantitative measurement studies of health information, health Indicators, health information management and technology, and quality of health care in hospitals. Conclusion: The scientific collaboration approach among authors has been relatively good at producing scientific works. However, there are several authors with a limited number of articles. There are also a small number of core institutions and universities in producing scientific works in the field of health information management. With the exception of the knowledge management cluster at the universities, all the obtained clusters are aligned with the journal's thematic axes.

Introduction: Applying bibliometric indicators, this study aims at investigating the status of Persian sports medicine research based on the records in the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC).Material and Methods: This was a scientometric applied study in which the bibliometric techniques and social network analysis were used in conducting the investigations. The study population consisted of 1566 Persian articles published in the field of sports medicine indexed in ISC database until 2018. BibExcel, UCINet, Netdraw, and VOSviewer were among the software that were used for analyzing data and drawing maps in the study.Results: Initial analysis of the data showed that 1566 articles under study received a total of 266 citations, with an average of 0.17 citations per article, which is a very low level. “Sadeghi H”, “Alizadeh M”, and “Rajabi R” were considered to be the Iranian top researchers in the field of sports medicine in terms of the number of articles. “Ebrahimi Takamjani E” owned the best position in the network. Finally, the results uncovered that 8 thematic clusters were formed in sports medicine research.Conclusion: The results showed a relatively steady growth in the number of sports medicine articles indexed in ISC in 2010s. Moreover, according to the authorship patterns, it seems that sports medicine researchers are very interested in participatory activities. Moreover, given the subject clusters of co-word analysis, research in this field seems to cover a wide range of topics.

مقدمه: با استفاده از روش تحلیل هم‌واژگانی، ارتباط بین موضوعات علمی کشف، ساختار فکری حاکم شناسایی و جنبه‌های پژوهشی زیرمجموعه آشکار می‏گردد. هدف از انجام پژوهش حاضر، دیداری‌سازی شبکه مفهومی ویروس پاپیلوم انسانی HPV (Human Papillomavirus) در جهان بود. روش بررسی: این مطالعه به روش تحلیل هم‏واژگانی صورت گرفت. 17278 کلید واژه مستخرج از ‏‌13249 مقاله با موضوع HPV که طی بازه زمانی سال‌های 2014 تا 2018 در پایگاه Web of Science نمایه شده بود، جامعه آماری تحقیق را تشکیل داد. جهت مشخص کردن کلید واژه‌های اصلی به منظور تعیین راهبرد جستجو، از سرعنوان‌های موضوعی پزشکی MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) استفاده گردید. یافته‌ها: 126 کلید واژه پرتکرار شناسایی شد و «سرطان دهانه رحم» بیشترین فراوانی را داشت. با استفاده از خوشه‌بندی سلسله مراتبی به روش Ward، 14 خوشه موضوعی به دست آمد. بزرگ‌ترین ‌خوشه‌ با 30 کلید واژه متعلق به «علایم و بیماری‌های ناشی از HPV» بود. جهت کسب بینش جامع‌تر و بهتر پیرامون ساختار موضوعات HPV، از نقشه دو بعدی بهره گرفته شد. نتیجه‌گیری: تحلیل هم‌‏واژگانی به‌ خوبی می‌تواند ساختار علمی و فکری HPV را نمایان سازد و ابزار مناسبی جهت شناسایی موضوعات پرکاربرد HPV می‌باشد. به‌ نظر می‌رسد که پژوهش‌های HPV، رابطه تنگاتنگی با مطالعات قلمروی پزشکی و سلامت همچون پیشگیری و درمان دارد.

Background and aim: Scientometric studies are one of the most efficient methods of scientific evaluation in a valid scientific database. Therefore, the aim of this study was to analyze the co-word analysis of scientific outputs in the field of bibliotherapy in the Web of Science (WoS). Materials and methods: This scientometric study was conducted using library methods and network analysis. The statistical population of this study included all documents indexed in the WoS with the subject of bibliotherapy from 1975 to 2020. Data were analyzed using Excel, Pajek, UCINET, Netdraw and VOSviewer softwares. Findings: The results showed that the scientific outputs in the field of bibliotherapy had no appropriate growth rate, and the growth rate of the total scientific outputs in this field was 3%. The field of "psychology" was the most active one with the production of 49% of bibliotherapy studies. Based on the study of the co-word network in the field of bibliotherapy, six thematic clusters were identified. The "Bibliotherapy for children" cluster with 1013 keywords was recognized as the largest cluster, and the "Bibliotherapy" keyword with 543 frequencies was the most frequent keyword. The "Bibliotherapy" and "Depression" keywords with 153 frequencies had the most co-word occurrence. The network density was 1.26. Moreover, the keywords of bibliotherapy, depression and self-help had the highest rank centrality (100, 85.417 and 82.292), betweenness centrality (11.194, 5.378 and 4.310) and closeness centrality (100, 87.273 and 84.956), respectively. Conclusion: The trend of bibliotherapy studies was poor, and the medical fields had not paid much attention to its use in the treatment of diseases. The purpose of the present study is visualize HPV clusters relationships and thematic trends in the world. Materials and Methods: The research type is an applied one with analytical approach and it has been done using co-word analysis. The population of this study consists of articles’ keywords indexed during 2014-2018 in the Web of Science (WoS) in HPV subject area. The total numbers of the retrieved and analyzed keywords in this study were 13249. Some software like SPSS, UCINET and VOSViewer were used for data integration and analysis. Results: The findings showed that the keyword “CERVICAL CANCER” have had the highest frequency and with “CERVICAL INTRAEPITHELIAL NEOPLASIA” and they were co-word couples. The results of the strategic diagram showed that the most clusters in HPV placed in third area of strategic diagram, it means these subjects (clusters) were emerging or declining. Conclusion: Co-word analysis is suitable method for discover and visualize different sciences and their prominent patterns, hidden relationships and thematic trends research’ subject areas. Background and Aim: Influenza is a global epidemic disease that always causes irreparable damage to individuals and countries' health, and the amount of research in this area is increasing. The primary purpose this study is to discover the hidden patterns and emerging events of global influenza publications. Materials and Methods: This article is an applied type was done with an analytical approach and using the Co-word analysis method. This research's statistical population includes all the keywords of documents indexed with influenza's subject in the WOSCC in the last two decades. The number of keywords studied in this article is 26767. MeSH was used to determine the search strategy for document retrieval. Results: The keywords "Avian Influenza" and "Influenza Vaccine" with a frequency of 1302 and 1264 were the most frequent keywords in the subject area of influenza. Findings related to the analysis of clusters by the hierarchical clustering method created 21 clusters in the field of influenza. Seventeen clusters with the most keywords were the largest cluster. The strategic diagram indicated that most influenza subject area clusters are located in the third quadrant of the strategic diagram and are considered emerging or declining subjects. Conclusion: Discovering the intellectual structure, presenting hidden patterns and emerging events of global publications in the field of influenza infections can help governments, communities, and research centers in understanding research advances, optimizing and managing future research topics, and effectively monitoring and policy-making activities—new research and allocation of facilities and budget. Aim: This research attempts to reveal the intellectual structure of "Relevance" articles in order to identify the top authors, countries and topical clusters, via co-word, co-author, and science visualization tools. Methodology: This is application research which is conducted by scientometric methodology. Population comprises 2530 records in the field of Relevance during 2009-2018, which had been retrieved from Web of Science. PreMap software is used for homogenization of words, and VOSviewer, and Bibexcel are used for science visualization. Finding: Findings indicate that the most articles were published in 2015 with 293 titles. The scientific map of co-authorship led to creation of 6 clusters. The top authors in scientific co-authorship were Huang, Jose, De rijke, Zuccon, Song, and Scholer. The top countries in scientific co-authorship were USA, China, England, Canada, India, and France. Use of co-word analysis led to the creation of 6 topical clusters in the field of Relevance, including among others: Information retrieval, Search engines, and Relevance feedback. Conclusion: The upward trend of scientific outputs in the field of Relevance during recent years indicates the increasing importance of this field in Library and Information Science. The results indicate that the researchers as well as studying the general and traditional principles of Relevance field have not been unaware of new developments in this field and studied both of them at the same time. Motivation: In recent years Albania has been an object of amassing research in many subject areas, including those related to economic sciences. Nevertheless, this growing scientific output has not been mapped from the bibliometric perspective. Thus, filling the identified gap in the body of knowledge is motivation for this study. Aim: The aim of the paper is to map the conceptual structure of research output in economic sciences with the focus on Albania as an object or a context of scientific inquiry in order to identify and explore leading and emerging topics. The study is oriented to answering the following research questions: (1) What are the leading topics/streams of scientific inquiry in the field? (2) What are the most up-to-date (emerging) topics/streams in the field? Results: Analysing co-occurrence of high-frequency keywords of Scopus-indexed publications including phrase 'Albania' in their titles, keywords and abstracts leads to identification of seven thematic clusters within the research field: (1) Albania as a transition economy, (2) economic aspects of migration, (3) Western Balkans studies, (4) education and innovation, (5) regional case and comparative studies, (6) economic growth and development, and (7) democratic transition and European integration. This study aimed to knowledge mapping of Digital Libraries (DLs) field in Iran. This is a scientometrics study. In this regard, Social Network and co-word analysis methods were used. 554 research resources such as books, national and international journal papers, conferences articles, and MA and Ph.D. Theses in Iran up to 2013 were studied. Researcher made checklist was used to collext data. Also Gephi and VOSviewer softwares were used to visualize and analyze the subject networks. Researches in the field of DLs were classified into 10 research topics and 59 Subtopics. Findings showed that "Evaluation", "Digital content and collections", "Architecture, systems, tools and technologies" and etc. are higher frequency research topics. Also "Evaluation", "Metadata", "Content preservation and security" and etc. most central and core subtopics in subject networks; Moreover subtopics such as "Electronic publishing standards", "Use of taxonomies to provide unified and organized access to various digital repositories", "Digital preservation systems", "Resource sharing" and etc. are research areas that paied less research attention in Iran. Also results reflect that less researches pay attention to the technical and experimental domains. This show that domains co-occurrence structure with nearly two decades of studies in this field, compared with international studies, isnot matured and correlation between clusters are little and unbalanced.

The aim of the present study is to visualize the dynamics of conceptual clusters, hidden patterns and emerging knowledge of "cybernetics in Middle Eastern countries" subject area in a global scale based on the co-word analysis of scientific outcomes indexed in the Web of Science database. This research is an applied one, performed with the co-word analysis method and analytical approach. The population includes 2280 keywords from 705 records in the cybernetics subject area in Middle Eastern countries, published in 7 journals indexed in the Web of Science database until 2018. To have a coherence set of data and create the co-occurrence matrix, RavarPreMap software applied. Then, using SPSS 16 and VOSViewer, the subjects were clustered and mapped. Specifications of co-word networks such as centrality and density illustrated using UCInet software in the form of a strategic diagram. Thereby, the situation and evolutionary branches of the cybernetics subject area revealed in Middle Eastern countries. The trend of scientific productions in cybernetics in Middle Eastern counties is incremental. Computer science, with 444 records, is the core subject in the mentioned studies. Researchers' intellectual structures are identifiable in 12 clusters. The most significant cluster is the twelfth one, named master data mining algorithms and including 20 keywords. The distribution of clusters in the strategic diagram shows that Clusters 1, 2, and 4 are core issues in the subject area. Furthermore, they are mature and coherent, being studied at the core of the research area, having a core and developable role. The coword analysis is a proper and powerful method in discovering and visualizing science and knowledge, tracking sciences, studying the trend of conceptual dynamicity, identifying and analyzing researchable fields in the subject area of cybernetics. The co-words analysis, as a scientometric method, helps us to discover the conceptual relationships between scientific texts and application of such relationships as a means to demonstrate important links that may be difficult to discover in other ways. This article is intended to use an analytical approach and identify research areas and to reveal the intellectual structure of knowledge in laser researches in biomedicine literature during 2009-2018. In this descriptive-analytical study with a scientometric approach, the data about laser were retrieved from PubMed in MEDINE format, including 7,682 articles with 18,227 keywords. By using co-word analysis, clustering methods, and strategic diagram; the data were analyzed with the help of SPSS 20, UcInet, and VOSviewer software. This study found that a steady growth could be seen on the laser research and 19.47% of publications are found in 5 journals. The most frequent keywords in the field of laser have been "lasers, solid-state", "laser therapy", "lasers, excimer", etc. The results of cluster analysis shaped the concepts of laser in 7 clusters. The cluster "laser, excimer" was well developed and it plays an effective role. In contrast, "Photo chemotherapy", "skin diseases with Emphasis on Lasers, gas", "Laser Effects", "Laser dentistry "and "Corneal Surgery, Laser" were relatively immature, which necessitates potential research space for future study. This research used co-word networks that indicate the important links between keywords of research areas. Disclosing the thorough context of issues which were encountered at the time of investigating, these networks will be used in locating knowledge gaps. Majority of research approaches include treatments or therapeutic aspects of laser in ophthalmology. The lack of some topics such as cardiology, oncology, optogenetics etc. shows that they have not been considered. Moreover, nevertheless of the practice site, application, or system in use, there is the goal of making and keeping a lasersafe environment for the staff, the user, and patient. Background and Objectives: Identifying the knowledge structure and mapping the roadmap in different areas of human knowledge can demonstrate the direction of researchers' progress for future studies. This research tries to reveal the intellectual structure of knowledge in health information management and technology, using network analysis, and science visualization tools. Material and Methods: This is an applied research which had done by co-word analysis. The population of this study consists of 35914 records indexed in Web of Science (WoS) in the period 2007-2016. For careful examination, the mentioned interval is divided into two fiveyear periods (2007-2011 and 2012-2016). All retrieved records in this study were incorporated into the study and no sampling was used. Results: The results indicated that in the first five-year period the co-words "E-Health and Telemedicine", and in the second five-year period the co-words "Computers and Medical Records" had the most occurrence. The results of hierarchical clustering led to the formation of eight thematic clusters in the first period and five thematic clusters in the second period. The themes of these clusters are: text mining, personal health, health information, medical information, quality of life, medical imaging, public health, medical education, health care, feature selection, medical information provision, and simulation. Conclusion: Topics such as simulation, medical imaging, and medical information provision have received less attention from the authors. The thermal management system architectures proposed for hydrogen-powered propulsion technologies are critically reviewed and assessed. The objectives of this paper are to determine the system-level shortcomings and to recognise the remaining challenges and research questions that need to be sorted out in order to enable this disruptive technology to be utilised by propulsion system manufacturers. Initially, a scientometrics based co-word analysis is conducted to identify the milestones for the literature review as well as to illustrate the connections between relevant ideas by considering the patterns of co-occurrence of words. Then, a historical review of the proposed embodiments and concepts dating back to 1995 is followed. Next, feasible thermal management system architectures are classified into three distinct classes and its components are discussed. These architectures are further extended and adapted for the application of hydrogen-powered fuel cells in aviation. This climaxes with the assessment of the available evidence to verify the reasons why no hydrogen-powered propulsion thermal management system architecture has yet been approved for commercial production. Finally, the remaining research challenges are identified through a systematic examination of the critical areas in thermal management systems for application to hydrogen-powered air vehicles’ engine cooling. The proposed solutions are discussed from weight, cost, complexity, and impact points of view by a system-level assessment of the critical areas in the field.

Even though integrity is widely considered to be an essential aspect of research, there is an ongoing debate on what actually constitutes research integrity. The understanding of integrity ranges from the minimal, only considering falsification, fabrication and plagiarism, to the maximum, blending into science ethics. Underneath these obvious contrasts, there are more subtle differences that are not as immediately evident. The debate about integrity is usually presented as a single, universal discussion, with shared concerns for researchers, policymakers and 'the public'. In this article, we show that it is not. There are substantial differences between the language of research integrity in the scientific arena and in the public domain. Notably, scientists and policymakers adopt different approaches to research integrity. Scientists tend to present integrity as a virtue that must be kindled, while policy documents and newspapers stress norm enforcement. Rather than performing a conceptual analysis through philosophical reasoning and discussion, we aimed to clarify the discourse of 'scientific integrity' by studying its usage in written documents. To this end, large numbers of scientific publications, policy documents and newspaper articles were analysed by means of scientometric and content analysis techniques. The texts were analysed on their usage of the term 'integrity' and of frequently co-occurring terms and concepts. A comparison was made between the usage in the various media, as well as between different periods in which they were published through co-word analysis, mapping co-occurrence networks of significant terms and themes. Increasing number of scientific publications points to quick developments in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Nanotechnology offers potentials of unimaginable proportions. Innovative possibilities present themselves in many areas of human activity, including agriculture, for example in precision farming, reduction of pollution and increasing crop yields. We bibliometrically assessed interactions between nanotechnology and agriculture. With co-word analysis in particular, we examined aspects of agro-nano applications related to plant protection. In order to analyze and map the structure of knowledge, we employed selected terms from a general citation database Web of Science (WOS) as well as specialized bibliographic database CAB Abstracts which covers life sciences with a special emphasis on agriculture. Our thematic maps (visualization) present some principal themes and relations among them. Pesticides, biosensors and detection are the main keywords in the network of words from article titles and network of the KeyWords+. Analysis of controlled terms (descriptors, classification codes) from CAB Abstracts in connection with pesticides shows two important directions of research: pollution and environmental topics, and topics related to human health, experimental animals and related.

A keyword analysis of the research in Food Science in Spain is carried out with the objective of discovering the most active lines of research in the period 2003-2014, comparing its evolution with the world research in the discipline. For this purpose, all the bibliographical records of Scopus were downloaded and their keywords were processed to solve the obvious problems of synonymy and to limit the study to those most frequently used. These keywords were grouped in fields and subfields using co-word analysis techniques. This was done with the world production so that we could have a reference for the study at the national level. It is verified that Spain is a great power in scientific research in the field of Food Science, not only by the volume of its scientific production, but also by its quality. This article describes an analysis of keywords which was aimed at revealing publication patterns in the field of Food Science (FS) during the last decade, including the temporal evolution of its different research lines. To this end, the records of the specific subject area of FS were 1st retrieved from Scopus, and then their keywords were processed to resolve the obvious problems of synonymy and to limit the study to those most frequently used. These keywords were grouped into thematic clusters based on a scientometric technique known as co-word analysis. The structure of the clusters, their scientific impact, and their temporal evolution were then analyzed. This type of analysis is of great interest for all researchers in FS-for new researchers because they can form an objective vision of the subject based on the data from papers that have been published in the last decade, and for experienced researchers because they can contrast their own vision of the field with this objective overview. The results showed there to has been a clear increase in scientific production related to FS. This production had a structure corresponding to 5 major clusters which were themselves disaggregated into 18 2nd-level clusters. The cluster that had received most attention was that corresponding to antioxidants in food, being the cluster with the greatest scientific impact and the greatest growth in the period. Linked data describes a method of publishing structured data which it can be interlinked and become more effective through semantic queries. This enables data from different sources to be connected and queried. It builds upon standard web technologies such as HTTP, RDF and URIs. This method helps human readers to share information in a way that can be read automatically by computers. Regarding the importance of Linked data, the main aim of this article is visualizing scientific mapping of linked data to show its progress through one decade. The scientometric study employs hierarchical cluster analysis, strategic diagrams and network analysis to map and visualize the linked data landscape of the "Scopus" publications through the use of co-word analysis. The study quantifies and describes the thematic evolution of the field based on a total of 717 Scopus articles and their associated 19977 keywords published between 1970s and 2014. According to the results the thematic visualization and the clusters show most concepts concentrated around computer related terms, such as big data; cloud computing semantic data; semantic technologies; semantic web; artificial intelligence; computer programming; semantic search, etc. In addition, we found that in recent years after librarians and information scientists doing researches in linked data on the behalf of computer scientist the "user" studies became important. While various topics in mobile computing, commerce and applications have been extensively investigated, the co-occurrences of keywords in the relevant studies remain relatively unexplored. This study performs a co-word analysis, a widely adopted method of science mapping in scientometrics, for a corpus of 4821 SCI/SSCI indexed papers related to mobility in the Web of Science (WoS) database from 1995 to 2013. The results reveal the interplay over time among mobile computing, commerce and applications. The emerging concepts demonstrated in the strategic diagrams and the associated co-word structures have implications for researchers who are tracking the topics which might gain ground over the next few years. 959 full text articles has been studied to explore the intellectual structure of scientometrics in the period 2005-2010 using text mining and co-word analysis. The trends and patterns of scientometrics in the journal Scientometrics were revealed by measuring the association strength of selected keywords which represent the produced concept and idea in the field of scientometrics. All articles were collected from the journal Scientometrics through Springerlink (full text database) and keywords were added non-parametrically from the LISA database and the articles themselves (keywords provided by author). Other important keywords are extracted from the title and abstract of the article manually. These keywords are standardized using a vocabulary tool. With the objective of delineating dynamic changes of the field of scientometrics, the period 2005-2010 was studied and further divided into two consecutive periods: 2005-2007 and 2008-2010. The results show that publication has some well-established topics which are changing gradually to adopt new themes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The thermal management system architectures proposed for hydrogen-powered propulsion technologies are critically reviewed and assessed. The objectives of this paper are to determine the system-level shortcomings and to recognise the remaining challenges and research questions that need to be sorted out in order to enable this disruptive technology to be utilised by propulsion system manufacturers. Initially, a scientometrics based co-word analysis is conducted to identify the milestones for the literature review as well as to illustrate the connections between relevant ideas by considering the patterns of co-occurrence of words. Then, a historical review of the proposed embodiments and concepts dating back to 1995 is followed. Next, feasible thermal management system architectures are classified into three distinct classes and its components are discussed. These architectures are further extended and adapted for the application of hydrogen-powered fuel cells in aviation. This climaxes with the assessment of the available evidence to verify the reasons why no hydrogen-powered propulsion thermal management system architecture has yet been approved for commercial production. Finally, the remaining research challenges are identified through a systematic examination of the critical areas in thermal management systems for application to hydrogen-powered air vehicles' engine cooling. The proposed solutions are discussed from weight, cost, complexity, and impact points of view by a system-level assessment of the critical areas in the field. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
