POLITICAL participation , *MILITARISM , *PERONISM , *HYPOTHESIS - Abstract
The article polemizes with the interpretative key that affirms that after the passage to the underground in 1974 there was a process of increasing militarization in the organization Montoneros. To this end, it systematizes and analyzes the political and military orientations and initiatives of Montoneros between 1974 and 1980, based on a hypothesis that affirms that, despite clandestinization, during this entire period efforts were devoted both to military and political actions. This article seeks to review ten years of great political violence in Spain, to determine the role played by women in the counterrevolutionary bloc. Contrary to what had so far been believed, right-wing citizens were not mere supporting players or passive victims of the street riots and the wars that took place between the October 1934 insurrection and the Blue Division’s withdrawal from the Russian front. Adopting a pioneering approach to research sources of a juridical and military nature—such as the high treason and espionage courts, kept with the Causa General in Salamanca, or the SIPM files in Ávila—we will show how these Spanish women became instrumental fifth columnists who collaborated in Franco’s Civil War victory, deploying a specifically female repertoire of struggle and civil disobedience. We will identify jobs undertaken by women in the sabotage and boycott of the Republic and why they were chosen to play this part, noting how gender roles in certain activities proved essential to the rebels., Este artículo trata de hacer un repaso por diez años de gran violencia política en España, para comprobar de qué modo las mujeres del bloque contrarrevolucionario participaron de la misma.

Under the guidance of historical anthropology, the objectives are approached from the design of a methodological framework of qualitative approach, and developed in an exploratory study, without any working hypothesis, ethnographic type and use of the biographical approach or life story. The tasks were carried out in Chile and Catalonia, and were divided into three phases and four stages. The first phase dates from the austral summer of 1996, at which time the idea of research arose. The second phase lasted from March 2007 to March 2008 and from December 2013 to January 2014, in which the first two stages of fieldwork were carried out, both in Curacaví and Santiago. The third phase ran from June 2016 to September 2019, a period in which activities were carried out in Catalonia and the third and fourth stages of fieldwork were carried out in Chile, in Santiago, Lampa and, essentially, Chicauma, the latter a rural sector close to Santiago where the VOP inaugurated in December 1970 a socialist commune called Comuna Chicauma (and which operated until June 1971). The study reviews some theories associated with the foundations of sociality and the political action of clandestine organizations, as well as examining the main social and political events and processes that occurred in Chile from 1900 to 1970 and had an impact on the Chilean popular movements of the period, and exposes the stories gathered in interview sessions with ex-militants of left-wing organizations that were contemporary to and collaborated with VOP; to former vopist Alejandro Villarroel Rodríguez, with whom we constructed his life story; and to current residents of the Chicauma sector. The results give account of contextual and particular antecedents in general unknown and secrets of the VOP, from which we enter into certain facts and socio-political processes before and after the period of vopist political operativity, in which fragments of the collective memory of the Chilean popular movements are revealed, some of which had in part become secrets for themselves.

The antifranquismo as a conglomerate of social resistance movements have so many historiographical attention. The different political points of view, ideological disputes and logical and dynamic policies that allowed different moments and positions, have been widely studied and recognized. This general concern about treating antifranquismo as part of the history of political institutions, has resulted in a lack of attention to how all this activity was carried out, as a recognition of the darkest dimensions of the clandestine activity. Specific concealment techniques, camouflage strategies and skills to achieve invisibility, the networks that activated from the diary needs of shared feelings, resentful feelings, as a kind of underworld focused on making possible the real materialization of that context, and from everything settle the water table from which ultimately depended. To take care of this hidden dimension of social life in the struggle against the dictatorship in Catalonia is the main argument of this research. The application of anthropological approaches allowed to emphasize both the technologic-material dimension -the ways to fight the "how" of the struggle- and cross-cultural comparison, associated in this case to the secret code as a resource and cultural pattern.
