[ANGLÈS] The present study analysis the influence of recycled aggregate in structural concretes, studying its performance in terms of stating the physical and mechanical characteristics as well as durability properties of concrete-making. Highlights the appropiateness of this material for its use as building material, as this recycling would promote a more sustainable growth, it will lead eventually to a greener environment. [CATALÀ] En el present estudi s'analitza la influència de l'àrid reciclat en formigons estructurals, s'estudia el seu comportament de forma que quedaran determinades les seves característiques físiques, mecàniques i la seva durabilitat. Es posa de manifest la validesa d'aquest material pel seu ús com a material de la construcció, ja que aquest reciclatge afavoriria un creixement més sostenible i no causaria un impacte mediambiental tan elevat sobre el medi natural.

[ANGLÈS] The present study analyses de properties of different type of concrete with recycled aggregate. The objective is to prove if its use satisfies the requirements imposed for concretes to be used in railway sleepers on Spain (ADIF’s standards). In case that physical, mechanical and durability properties agrees with this standard, it will mean a benefit for the environment, reducing wastes from construction-demolition (sleeper wastes in that case) and the amount of natural aggregate taken. [CATALÀ] El present estudi analitza les propietats de diferents formigons amb àrid reciclat, amb la finalitat de comprovar si el seu ús compleix amb les exigències que s’imposen als formigons per a travesses de formigó a Espanya (normativa d’ADIF). En cas que les propietats físiques, de durabilitat i, sobretot, mecàniques siguin satisfactòries, la incorporació d’àrid reciclat suposarà un benefici per al medi ambient, tot reduint els residus de la construcció-demolició (en aquest cas travesses fors d’ús) i la quantitat d’àrid natural a extreure.
