Bu çalışma, Korkuteli (Antalya) ilçesinin kuzeyinde yer alan Yelten Sazlığı çevresindeki vejetasyon ve ortamsal şartların paleoekolojik yapısını belirlemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Bu kapsamda Yelten Sazlığı'ndan 400 ve 48 cm uzunluğunda sediman örneği alınmıştır. Örnekler üzerinde yapılan radyokarbon yaşlandırma sonucuna göre taban yaşlarının Kal GÖ ~20.000 ve Kal GÖ ~2.100 olduğu bilgisine ulaşılmıştır. İki karot serisi üzerinde de fosil polen analizleri yapılmış ve veriler Tilia 2.0.41 programında diyagramlara dönüştürülmüştür. Elde edilen verilere göre Yelten Sazlığı çevresinin vejetasyon değişimi Kal GÖ ~20.000 yıl öncesinden günümüze ortaya konulmuştur. Fosil polen diyagramlarında iki diyagramda da üç ana zon ve altı alt zon belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen zonlar arasında YS 17-01 diyagramında odunsu/ağaç taksonlarının toplam oranı (AP; arboreal polen) %98,9 ile %39,3 arasında değişim göstermiştir. YS 19-01 diyagramında AP oranı %98 ile %85,1 arasında değişim göstermiştir. İki farklı karota ait fosil polen bulguları içerisinde Pinus sp., Juniperus sp., Quercus sp. önemli AP taksonlarıdır. Otsu taksonların toplam oranını temsil eden NAP (non-arboreal polen) içerisinde de Asteraceae, Chenopodiaceae ve Lactuaceae önemli taksonlar olmuştur. Ayrıca 48 cm'lik sediman karotu üzerinde µ-XRF analizleri yapılmış ve ~2100 yıl öncesinden günümüze meydana gelen paleoiklim değişimleri ortaya konulmuştur. Analizler sonucunda bölgede dört farklı iklimsel döneme ait değişimin olduğu bilgisine ulaşılmıştır. YS 17-01 karotu Söğüt Gölü ile YS 19-01 karotu ise Güneybatı Anadolu'da gerçekleştirilen önceki çalışmaların (Pınarbaşı, Gölhisar, Karataş Gölü ve YS 17-01) sonuçları ile karşılaştırılmıştır. YS 19-01 karotunun yüksek çözünürlüklü olması ile bulgularına daha çok odaklanılarak Roma İmparatorluğu, Bizans İmparatorluğu, Selçuklu Devleti ve Osmanlı İmparatorluğu dönemlerinde iklim koşulları, arazi kullanımı ve vejetasyon yapısı üzerindeki değişimler belirlenmiştir. The total ratio of woody/tree taxa (AP; arboreal pollen) in the YS 17-01 diagram among the determined zones varied between 98.9% and 39.3%. The AP rate in the YS 19-01 diagram varied between 98% and 85.1%. Among the fossil pollen findings belonging to two different cores, Pinus sp., Juniperus sp., Quercus sp. are important AP taxa. Asteraceae, Chenopodiaceae and Lactuaceae were also important taxa in NAP (non-arboreal pollen), which represents the total proportion of herbaceous taxa. In addition, µ-XRF analyzes were performed on the 48 cm sediment core and paleoclimate changes from ~2100 years ago to the present were revealed. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that there were changes in four different climatic periods in the region. YS 17-01 core Söğüt and YS 19-01 core were compared with the results of previous studies (Pınarbaşı, Gölhisar, Karataş Lake and YS 17-01) carried out in Southwest Anatolia. With the high resolution of the YS 19-01 core, focusing more on its findings, the changes in climatic conditions, land use and vegetation structure during the Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Seljuk State and Ottoman Empire were determined. Bu çalışma Güneybatı Anadolu'da bulunan Karataş Gölü'nde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Karataş Gölü ve yakın çevresinde 2000 yıl öncesinden günümüze paleovejetasyon değişimini ortaya koymak çalışmanın temel amacını oluşturmaktadır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Karataş Gölü'den temin edilen toplam uzunluğu 255 cm (GÖ 1890 kal. 14C) olan sediman karotu üzerinde fosil polen analizleri klasik yöntem uygulanmış ve polenler ışık mikroskobunda familya, cins ve tür bazında teşhis edilmiştir. Teşhis edilen örnekler Tilia 2.0.41 yazılımı kullanılarak polen diyagramı çizilmiştir. 138 cm ve 254 cm'den alınan örnekler Karbon 14 (14C) analizi yöntemi ile tarihlendirilmiştir. 14C yaşlandırma analizi sonucunda Karataş Gölü'ne ait sediman karotu üzerinde 138 cm'de GÖ 1384±25 ve 253 cm'de GÖ 1922±27 yaşları elde edilmiştir. Bu yaş verileri OxCal. 4.3 programı kullanılarak IntCal13 ile kalibre edilmiştir. Yaş verisi polen diyagramına entegre edilerek meydana gelen değişimlerin zamansal olarak ortaya koyulması mümkün hale gelmiştir. Fosil polen diyagramında 2 ana ve 6 alt zon belirlenmiştir. Fosil polen diyagramına göre arboreal polen (AP) içerisinde Pinus, Juniperus ve Quercus evergreen, nonarboreal polen (NAP) içerisinde ise Chenopodiaceae, Asteraceae, Lactuaceae ve Poaceae önemli türler olmuştur. AP oranın en yüksek olduğu dönem GÖ 1625'de %89,2, en düşük olduğu dönem ise GÖ 1885'de %61,6 değerindedir. NAP oranı %38,1-%12,7 arasında değişim göstermiştir. Tahıllar oranı en fazla GÖ 185'de %2,6 değerinde görülmüştür. Fosil polen sonuçlara göre Roma İmparatorluğu, Bizans İmparatorluğu, Selçuklu Devleti ve Osmanlı İmparatorluğu dönemde küresel iklim koşulları ve sürdürülen tarım ve hayvancılık faaliyetlerinin vejetasyon yapısı üzerindeki izleri belirlenmiştir. The aim of this study is to reveal the change of paleovegetation in the Karatas Lake and its Surroundings. For this purpose, fossil pollen analyzes were performed on the sediment core with a total length of 255 cm (1890 cal. BP 14 C) obtained from Karataş Lake and pollen was identified in light microscope on the basis of family, genus and species. The samples were drawn using the Tilia 2.0.41 software. Samples taken from 138 cm and 254 cm were dated by Carbon 14 (14C) analysis and were obtained 1384 ± 25 BP at 138 cm and 1922 ± 27 BP at 253 cm on the sediment core of Karataş Lake. These age data were calibrated with IntCal13 using the OxCal. 4.3 program. Age data are integrated into the pollen diagram and it is now possible to determine the changes occurring in time. In the fossil pollen diagram, 2 main and 6 lower zones were determined. In arboreal pollen (AP) according to the fossil pollen diagram, Pinus, Juniperus and Quercus evergreen, and in nonarboreal pollen (NAP) were important species of Chenopodiaceae, Asteraceae, Lactuaceae and Poaceae. The highest AP ratio was 89.2% in 1625 BP, its lowest ratio was 61.6% in 1885 BP. The NAP ratio ranged from 38.1% to 12.7%. Cereals rate was highest in 185 BP at 2.6%. According to the results of fossil pollen in the Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire, Selçuk State and Ottoman Empire period, the global climatic conditions and sustained agricultural and livestock activities on the vegetation structure traces were determined. Besides, similarities and differences were determined in terms of vegetation structure with determined sample areas. Bu çalışma, Orta Anadolu’da Kapadokya Yöresi’nin kuzeydoğusunda (Kayseri-Palas Ovası) yer alan Tuzla Gölü'nde yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın temel amacı, Tuzla Gölü çevresinin Geç Holosen dönemi paleovejetasyon değişimini ve bu değişimler üzerinde etkili olan faktörleri belirlemektir. Belirtilen amaca, Tuzla Gölü tabanından Livingstone sondaj aleti yardımıyla alınan 337 cm uzunluğundaki sediman karotları üzerinde yapılan fosil polen analizleri ile ulaşılmıştır. Sediman karotları üzerinde yapılan radyokarbon tarihlendirilmesi ile günümüzden ~5080± 30 yıl öncesine ulaşılmıştır. Fosil polen analiz sonuçları, Tilia 2.0.41 programı kullanılarak polen diyagramları haline getirilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda elde edilen veriler, bölge genelinde günümüzden ~5158 (~M.Ö. 3143 - ~M.S. 1932) yıl öncesinin paleovejetasyon değişimini ortaya koymuştur. Elde edilen fosil polen diyagramında beş ana zon belirlenmiştir. Belirlenen bu zonlar arasında toplam AP oranı % 73 ile % 45 arasında değişim gösterirken, NAP oranı % 54 ile % 27 arasında değişim göstermiştir. Bu değişimlerin nedeni antropojenik etki ve iklimsel olaylar olarak görülmüştür. Bu çalışmanın sonuçları; Kapadokya Yöresi’nde gerçekleştirilen önceki çalışmaların (Nar Gölü, Tuzla Gölü, Seyfe Gölü ve Eski Acıgöl) sonuçları ile karşılaştırılarak, bölgenin tarihsel süreç içerisinde vejetasyon yapısı ile ilişkili olarak ortamsal değerlendirmesi yapılmıştır. The main purpose of the study is to determine the paleovegetation change of the Late Holocene period around Tuzla Lake and the factors effecting these changes. The stated aim was achieved by fossil pollen analysis on sedimentary cores 337 cm long taken from the base of Tuzla Lake with the help of Livingstone drilling equipment. With the radiocarbon dating made on the Sediman cores, it is reached to ~5080 ± 30 years ago today. Fossil pollen analysis results were converted to pollen diagrams using the Tilia 2.0.41 program The data obtained as a result of this study revealed the change of paleovegetation in the region in general from ~5158 (~ 3143 BC - ~ 1932 BC) years ago. It is important in terms of Anatolian history throughout the region. In the obtained fossil pollen diagram five main zones were identified. The NAP rate varied between % 54 and % 27, while the total AP rate varied between % 73 and % 45 among the identified zones. The cause of these changes is seen as anthropogenic effect and climatic events. The results of this study; comparing the results of previous studies (Nar Lake, Tuzla Lake, Seyfe Lake and Eski Acıgöl) carried out in the Cappadocia Region, environmental assessment was made in relation to the vegetation structure in the historical process of the region. Bu çalışma, Kapadokya Yöresi'nde mevcut fosil polen kayıtlarını kullanarak paleo-ortam koşullarına yönelik yapılan yorumlamalar ve çıkarımlara metodolojik olarak yeni bir yaklaşım getirmek ve bu yolla literatüre katkı yapmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda seçilen paleo-ortam proksi kayıtları fosil polenlerdir. Bu kayıtlardan son 2000 yıllık döneme ait yaşlandırması bulunan ve diğer kayıtlarla ortak türler barındıran kayıtlar çalışma kapsamına alınmıştır. Bu kayıtlara ait yaşlandırma verileri periyotlara ayrılmış, seçilen bitki türlerine ait polen yüzdeleri bu periyotlar için yeniden hesaplanmıştır. Amaca yönelik kullanılan yöntem ise izopolen haritaları üretim tekniğidir. Bu yöntem için CBS yazılım ve analizleri kullanılmıştır. Ters Mesafe Ağırlıklandırma tekniği ile yapılan mekânsal enterpolasyon sonucu türlere ait olası dağılış ve polenlerin taşınmış olabileceği olası alanlar değerlendirilmiştir. Bu yöntemle oluşturulan izopolen haritaları ile türlerin paleovejetasyon şartlarında hem zamansal hem de mekânsal değişimleri irdelenmiştir. Bu değişimin doğal yolla veya insan etkisi sonucunda oluştuğuna dair çıkarımlar yapılmıştır. Sonuç olarak fosil polen kayıtlarının değerlendirilmesinde ve yorumlanmasında katkı sağlayabilecek bir metot uygulaması gerçekleştirilmiştir. Selected paleo-environmental proxies in this context are fossil pollen. These records include the records of the last 2000 years of ages and common species with other records. The aging data for these records are divided into periods, and pollen fractions of selected plant species are recalculated for these periods. The method used for the purpose is isopollen map production technique. GIS software and analysis are used for this method. Possible distribution of spatial interpolation result species made by Inverse Distance Weighted technique and probable areas where pollen may have been transported are evaluated. The changes of temporal and spatial changes in the paleovementation conditions of the species were investigated with the izopolen map created by this method. Inferences have been made that this change occurs naturally or as a result of human impact. As a result, method experiment was carried out which could contribute to the evaluation and interpretation of fossil pollen records. "Karlık Dağı'nın Doğal Ortam Koşulları ve Bitki Örtüsü Arasındaki İlişkileri" adlı yüksek lisans tez çalışması 5 bölüm altında incelenmiştir. Birinci bölüm, araştırma alanının genel özellikleri, amaç, kapsam, metot ve tarihsel gelişimi, ikinci bölüm; doğal ortam koşullarını oluşturan, jeoloji, jeomorfoloji, iklim ve toprak özellikleri, üçüncü bölüm, bitki formasyonlarının dağılış sahaları ve özellikleri, dördüncü bölüm, doğal ortam unsurları ve bitki örtüsü arasındaki ilişkiler yorumlanmış ve son bölümde ise bitki örtüsünü şekillendiren tüm doğal ortam koşulları değerlendirilerek sonuçlandırılmıştır. Çalışma alanı, Akdeniz Bölgesi’nde, Burdur İl’i, Bucak İlçe merkezinin güneydoğusunda, 1710 metre yükseltiye sahip olan, Karlık Dağı'dır. Fiziki çevre koşulları (jeoloji, jeomorfoloji, iklim, toprak) özellikleri belirlenip, bitki örtüsü üzerindeki etkileri açıklanmıştır. Doğal ortam koşulları sonucu çeşitlilik gösteren bitki örtüsü, orman (kızılçam, karaçam, ardıç, sedir ve toros göknarı), çalı (maki, garig) ve ot formasyonu olmak üzere üç farklı başlık altında incelenmiştir. Bitki örtüsünün, oluşumuna, şekillenmesine ve dağılışına etki eden doğal ortam koşullarından iklim özellikleri genellikle nemli ve yarı–nemli iklim özellikleri ile Akdeniz ikliminin etkilerini yansıtır. Bu durum kızılçam, ardıç ve maki toplulukları gibi ortama uyum sağlayan bitki türlerinin yetişmesine katkıda bulunur. Sıcaklık değerlerinin yükselti ile değişmesi sonucu, kızılçam gibi sıcaklık isteği fazla olan türün yerine karaçam ormanları sahada yayılış gösterir. Odunsu türlerin yanı sıra çalı (maki, garig) ve ot formasyonları da sahada 1000 metre ila 1400 metre arasında yayılış göstermektedir. Araştırma alanında Akdeniz iklim tipinin görülmesi ile yükseltiye bağlı olarak iklim ve toprak türlerinin değişmesi, kuzeydoğu-güneybatı doğrultusunda uzanan ova, vadi, plato gibi topografik yapıların oluşması; Akdeniz Flora Bölgesini karakterize eden bitki topluluklarının ve alt formasyonlarının oluşmasına, bitki örtüsünün kuzey-güney yönlü dağılışına ve çeşitlenmesine neden olmuştur. Böylece çeşitlenen bitki toplulukları arasında Batı Toroslar Dağ silsilesi içerisinde sınırlı alanda yetişen Toros göknarını ve diğer bitki topluluklarını meydana getirmiştir. Bucak ve Karlık Dağı doğrultusunda belirlenen kesitte 1000, 1250 ve 1500 metre yükselti basamakları arasında yer alan Toros göknar ormanları ve bitki toplulukları, Data Logger cihazları yardımıyla 1 yıl boyunca sıcaklık ve nem parametreleri kayıt altına alınarak, mikro ölçekte incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma, gerekli olan doğal ortam koşullarında, bitki örtüsünün çeşitliliğini, yetişme sürecini, dağılışını dikkate alarak belli bir kesit doğrultusunda ortaya çıkan bitki formasyonlarının ve Toros göknar ormanlarının, doğal ortamdaki yetişme koşullarını ortaya sunmuştur. The first part is the general characteristics, purpose, scope, method and historical development of the research area; geology, geomorphology, climate and soil characteristics, third part, distribution areas and features of plant formations, fourth section, natural environment elements and vegetation cover are interpreted and finally all natural environment conditions that shaped vegetation are evaluated. The study area is Karlik Mountain, which is located in the Mediterranean Region, Burdur Province, south east of the Bucak District center, with an elevation of 1710 meters. The physical environmental conditions (geology, geomorphology, climate, soil) are determined and the effects on the vegetation cover are explained. The undergrowth of vegetation has been studied under three different headings: forest (pine, juniper, cedar and taurus fir), shrub (maki, garig) and grass formation. The climatic characteristics of the vegetation cover the natural climate conditions that affect the formation, the formation and the distribution of the vegetation, and they generally reflect the effects of Mediterranean climate with moist and semihumid climatic characteristics. This contributes to the growth of plant-adaptive plant species such as corn, juniper and maquis. The change in temperature with elevation is the result of the spreading of black forest forests, rather than the demand for warmth like a red pine. In addition to the woody species, bushes (maki, garig) and grass formations also spread from 1000 to 1400 meters on the field. The formation of topographic structures such as the change of climatic and soil types due to elevation, the plains, valleys, plateau extending in northeast-southwest direction; The formation of plant communities and subformations that characterize the Mediterranean Flora Region led to the north-south distribution and diversification of the vegetation cover. Thus, among the various plant communities, the Western Taurus Mountains bring forth the Taurus fir and other plant communities growing in the restricted area within the mountain range. Taurus fir forests and plant communities located at 1000, 1250 and 1500 meter altitudes in the vicinity of the Bucak and Karlik Mountains were recorded with temperature and humidity parameters for 1 year by means of Data Logger devices and examined at micro scale. This study revealed the growth conditions in the natural environment of the plant formations and the Taurus fir forests in the direction of a certain cross section taking into consideration the diversity of the vegetation cover, the growing process, distribution in the natural environment conditions required. Bu tez çalışmasının amacı Mucur çevresinin paleovejetasyon değişimini ve bu değişimler üzerinde etkili olan nedenlerin belirlenmesidir. Çalışma amacına ulaşmak için gerçekleştirilen fosil polen analizleri Mucur Obruk Gölü'nden temin edilen 540 cm uzunluğundaki sediman karotu üzerinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Fosil polen analiz sonuçlarının güvenilirliğini artırmak için Avrupa Polen İzleme Programı'nın belirlediği ve uyguladığı metodoloji takip edilerek güncel polen analizleri (yüzey sediman ve Tauber polen tuzağından) gerçekleştirilmiştir. Fosil ve güncel polen analiz sonuçları Tilia programı kullanılarak diyagram haline getirilmiştir. Tauber tipi polen tuzağından elde edilen güncel polen sonuçlarına göre güncel polen dağılımı içerisinde odunsu türlere ait polenlerin (arboreal polen; AP) oranı % 46,7 iken otsu türlere ait polenlerin oranı (nonarboreal polen; NAP) % 53,3 değerindedir. Yüzey sediman analiz sonuçlarına göre ise güncel polen dağılımının AP oranı % 57,5, NAP oranı ise % 42,5'tir. Fosil polen analiz sonuçlarına göre odunsu türler % 75,3 (G.Ö. 766 yıl) ila % 36,7 (G.Ö. 491 yıl) arasında, otsu türler ise % 63,3 (G.Ö. 491 yıl) ila % 24,7 (G.Ö. 766 yıl) arasında değişim göstermiştir. Yapılan polen analizine göre küresel veya bölgesel ölçekte meydana gelen iklim değişimlerinin etkisinin çalışma alanındaki paleovejetasyon üzerinde çok az hissedildiği, tarihsel süreçte bölgede yaşayan insanların ekonomik faaliyetlerin paleovejetasyonu etkilediği ortaya çıkmıştır. The fossil pollen analyzes carried out to reach the aim of the study were carried out on a sediment core of 540 cm length obtained from Mucur Obruk Lake. In order to increase the reliability of fossil pollen analysis results, up-to-date pollen analyzes (surface sediments and Tauber pollen) were carried out by following the methodology established and implemented by the European Pollen Monitoring Program. The fossil and modern pollen analysis results were plotted using the Tilia program. According to the modern pollen results obtained from Tauber type pollen, the proportion of pollen (arboreal pollen; AP) of woody species is 46.7% while that of pollen (nonarboreal pollen; NAP) is 53.3% in modern pollen distribution. According to surface sediment analysis results, the AP rate of the modern pollen distribution is 57.5% and the NAP rate is 42.5%. According to the results of fossil pollen analysis, woody species ranged from 75.3% (BP 766 years) to 36.7% (BP 491 years) and the herbaceous species were 63.3% (BP 491 years) 24.7 years (BP 766 years). According to the pollen analysis, the effect of climate change on the global or regional scale is felt very little on paleovegetation in the study area, and it has been revealed that the economic activities of the people living in the region in the historical period affected the paleovement. Teke Yöresi, kısa mesafede değişen ortam şartlarının çeşitlilik göstermesi, Akdeniz Havzası'nda önemli sığınma alanlarından biri olması ve uzun dönemler boyunca vejetasyon süresinin kesintiye uğramaması bitki çeşitliliğini artırmak ile birlikte endemizm oranını da artırmıştır. Alan hem doğal ortam özellikleri hem de içerdiği endemik bitki türleri nedeniyle büyük önem arz etmektedir. Bu tez çalışması kapsamında Teke Yöresi endemik bitki taksonlarının dağılışı ve bu dağılış üzerinde etkili olan ortamsal faktörler incelenmiştir. Teke Yöresi endemik bitki taksonlarının bitki listeleri 'Türkiye Bitkileri Listesi Damarlı Bitkiler' ve 'Türkiye Bitkileri Kırmızı Kitabı' eserinden yararlanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Bu listede yer alan endemik taksonların lokasyon bilgileri 'Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands' ve diğer kaynaklardan yararlanılarak oluşturulmuştur. Endemik taksonların lokasyonları Google Earth yardımıyla koordinatlandırılmıştır. Daha sonra Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri aracılığıyla veri tabanına aktarılmıştır. Oluşturulan veri tabanı ile endemik taksonlar ve yükselti, eğim, sıcaklık gibi ortamsal parametreler arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Veri tabanının oluşturulması endemik taksonların güncellenebilmesine, sorgulabilmesine, mekânsal ve istatistiksel analiz yapılabilmesine imkan sağlamıştır. Yapılan çalışma kapsamında sadece endemik taksonların mekan üzerinde nasıl bir dağılım gösterdiğinin yanı sıra her bir endemik taksonun ekolojik özellikleri de belirlenmiştir. Teke Yöresi endemik bitki taksonlarının dağılımında etkili olan en önemli faktörler topografya ve buna bağlı olarak iklimsel faktörler olduğu görülmektedir. Endemik taksonlar ortamda büyük oranda dağlık alanlarda ve derin yarılmış vadilerde kümeli bir dağılım göstermektedir. The area has great importance due to both the natural environment characteristics and the endemic plant species that it contains. In this thesis study, distribution of endemic plant taxa of Teke Region and the environmental factors affecting this distribution were examined. The plant lists of Teke Region endemic plant taxa were created by using the works of 'Turkish Plants List Vascular Plants' and 'Red Data Book'. The location information of the endemic taxa in this list was created by using 'Flora of Turkey and the East Aegean Islands' and other sources. Locations of endemic taxa are coordinated with the help of Google Earth. Then it was transferred to the database via Geographic Information Systems. The relationship between the created database and endemic taxa and environmental parameters such as elevation, slope, temperature were investigated. The creation of the database allows updating, querying, spatial and statistical analysis. In addition to the distribution of only endemic taxa on the site, the ecological characteristics of each endemic taxon have also been determined. The most important factors affecting the distribution of endemic plant taxa in Teke Region were determined as topography and climatic factors. Endemic taxa mostly inclicates clustered distribution in mountainous areas and deep valleys split.
