To report these impacts, an increasing number of companies, including those in the construction industry, are using the sustainability reporting model of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Due to the heterogeneity of the stakeholders associated with these companies, it becomes a challenge to determine what types of information should be disclosed in these reports, that is, those that are called "material". Furthermore, there is a lack of studies on quantitative methods involving the issue of materiality, which could reduce subjectivity in this process. In the few studies found, the tools developed for this purpose were not used to evaluate already published reports, but were used as a support for the production of new ones. Furthermore, none of them are specifically targeted at the construction sector. To fill this gap in research, this thesis proposes, applies, and discusses a model based on the "Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with absolute measurement" method to assess the issue of materiality of reports of Brazilian companies in the construction sector, prepared using the GRI standard. The selected organizations were those that have published their sustainability reports according to the GRI Standards since the launch of these guidelines in 2016, totaling fourteen reports, from six companies. After building the hierarchical structure of the model, experts in the construction/environment field were asked to make judgments about the criteria and sub-criteria, with the aim of weighting the degree of importance of the sustainability topics included in the reports. The judgments were collected through a questionnaire, and the weights were added to the model using the Aggregating Individual Priorities method applied to the AHP. The final weights were then validated by other experts. A ranking of the selected reports in relation to materiality was thus established, positively highlighting the reports of the OEC company. The AHP method with absolute measurement proved to be efficient, especially for allowing weightings of criteria and sub-criteria, and can be useful for materiality assessments in sustainability reports of organizations. We conclude that improvements in the quality of these reports are necessary, since there are companies that fail to disclose topics considered relevant, according to the judgment of the experts consulted in this research. A indústria da construção civil exerce grande influência no cenário brasileiro e mundial, possuindo um alto potencial em gerar impactos nas questões relacionadas ao desenvolvimento sustentável. Para relatarem esses impactos, é crescente o número de empresas, inclusive desse setor, que utilizam o modelo de relatório de sustentabilidade da Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). Devido à heterogeneidade dos stakeholders relacionados à essas organizações, torna-se um desafio determinar quais informações devem ser divulgadas nesses relatórios, ou seja, aquelas que são chamadas “materiais”. Observa-se também uma carência de estudos sobre métodos quantitativos que envolvam essa materialidade, o que poderia reduzir a subjetividade nesse processo. Nos poucos estudos encontrados na literatura, as ferramentas propostas não são utilizadas para a avaliação de relatórios publicados, mas para subsidiar a produção de novos. Além disso, nenhum deles é voltado especificamente para o setor da construção civil. Para preencher essa lacuna de pesquisa, esta tese propõe, aplica e discute um modelo baseado no método “Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) com medição absoluta” para avaliar a questão da materialidade de relatórios no padrão GRI de empresas brasileiras do setor da construção civil. As organizações selecionadas foram aquelas que publicaram seus relatórios de sustentabilidade nas Normas GRI desde o lançamento dessas diretrizes, em 2016, totalizando quatorze relatórios, de seis empresas. Após construída a estrutura hierárquica do modelo, foi solicitado a especialistas da área de construção civil/ambiental que realizassem os julgamentos dos critérios e subcritérios, visando ponderar o grau de importância dos tópicos de sustentabilidade constantes nos relatórios. Coletou-se os julgamentos por meio de questionário e os pesos foram agregados ao modelo utilizando-se o método de Agregação Individual de Prioridades aplicado ao AHP. Os pesos finais foram então validados por outros especialistas. Estabeleceu-se assim um ranking dos relatórios selecionadas em relação à materialidade, com destaque para os relatórios da empresa Odebrecht Engenharia e Construção S.A. (OEC). O método AHP com medição absoluta se mostrou eficiente, especialmente por possibilitar ponderações dos critérios e subcritérios, podendo ser útil para avaliações da materialidade nos relatórios de sustentabilidade de organizações. Conclui-se que há espaço para melhorias na qualidade desses relatórios, uma vez que há empresas que deixam de divulgar tópicos considerados relevantes, conforme julgamento dos especialistas consultados nesta pesquisa.
