The purpose of this paper is to describe the characteristics of the content generated by private, independent, and alternative media around the controversy over the construction of Mexico City’s New Airport in 2018, to identify the communicative ecology of #YoPrefieroElLago movement. This work was developed under a quantitative exploratory descriptive methodology. A content analysis was performed over 905 publications on web pages and 8 402 tweets. Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are one of the types of organizations that make up the third sector. This study aims to identify the fundraising strategies used by a Brazilian NGO, to verify the interface between fundraising and social marketing to apply strategies to leverage fundraising. The research was qualitative, using the case study method at the Diadema Social Center. As conclusions, it was possible to evaluate several points that interface with marketing. Managers must try to overcome the barriers that exist in these sectors for the activity implementation and organize it, avoiding dispersion of efforts. Strategic planning must be applied by the sector’s institutions, as well as including an appropriate distribution of the different sources of funds. There is a tendency towards centralization for fundraising, which limits collection. Marketing strategies are limited to communication. However, there is diversification of fundraising. Among the various conclusions presented, there is a need to apply social marketing in attracting donations to organizations with social proposals. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Understanding interactions between stakeholders and Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs) are key for developing strategies that enable NPO‘s survival and growth. Quantifying, qualifying and describing these issues through a cross-sectional mixed approach allows objective identification of elements constitutive to stakeholders, and their relative dependence on NPOs. Twenty-six NPOs located in Brazil were chosen. Quantitative data were subjected to the Kruskal-Wallis test, and treatment means separated by the Dunn test (P ≤ 0.05). Using MAXQDA software, qualitative information was analyzed using a content analysis technique. Three stakeholders were deemed weakly dependent on NPOs, and another seven highly dependent and critical to an understanding of stakeholder-NPO interactions. In conclusion, the maintenance of NPO services was highly dependent upon stakeholders. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Purpose: To verify the change of rules and routines of management accounting of a third sector organization in the light of the Old Institutional Economy (OIE). Methodology: To analyze the institutional change in management accounting, documentary, descriptive and qualitative research was carried out. The research was carried out at a private educational foundation in Santa Catarina, selected for being a member of the third sector and for its accessibility. Data collection took place through interviews and documents, between the months of September 2018 and February 2019. For data analysis, qualitative content analysis was used. Results: In the institutional approach, the change in management accounting for the Foundation was classified as formal, revolutionary and progressive. The institutionalization of management accounting rules and routines was promoted by the need for management to have more agile and secure tools to support decision making. The rules and routines of management accounting have been modified and / or abandoned, over time, with the reconfiguration of existing practices, for their innovation. The integration of the Foundation's systems based on the standardization and sharing of accounting and tax information has provided an improvement in the quality of information, better integration with the tax authorities and faster access to information, giving rise to more efficient, safe and useful management controls. Contributions of the Study: The research contributes to the accounting literature by presenting empirical evidence on the process of institutionalization of management accounting over time, in Brazilian third sector organizations, suggesting new studies. As a practical contribution, there is the possibility of improving the management models of third sector organizations through the understanding of the dynamics used in the process of change in management accounting, by the agents involved. This article focuses on the discussion that arises in the relationship between the public and the private in education and, more specifically, the implications that the educational technology of the Youth with a Future Program (PJF), presented, created and developed by the Unibanco Institute (IU), generates in the management of public schools. The technology is pre-qualified in the Educational Technologies Guide of the Ministry of Education (MEC) and is effective through partnerships with the MEC, the governments of the states of Ceará, Goiás, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará and Piauí and the institute, within the framework of the High School Program Innovative/Youth with a Future, for the management of high schools. The research takes place in the context of the State role redefinition, as a result of a structural crisis of the capital from the perspective of neoliberal ideology, which, as a way of overcoming it, under the argument that what is in crisis is the State, and not the capital, indicates as a way out the State reform by reducing its role, more specifically in the execution of social policies, among them, the educational ones. The methodology of the research is based on a bibliographic survey in the documents of the Unibanco Institute and its printed editorial materials. Through the materials, it can be identified that the PJF employs the market logic in public high schools and induces the schools to be accountable for the results, which incorporate changes in their pedagogical proposals and, thus, compromise the school management autonomy, violating the principle of democratic management. Purpose: The objective of this study was to analyze the conformity of the accounting disclosure of Non-Profit Organizations (NPOs), holders of a Social Assistance Benefit Entity Certificate (CEBAS) in Feira de Santana (BA), under the Brazilian Accounting Standards, through adoption of the General Technical Interpretation - ITG 2002 (R1). Methodology: This is a qualitative study on its approach, carried out through bibliographical and documentary research. The empirical stage of the research was carried out by means of a survey of data from Social Assistance Entities made available on the website of the Ministry of Social Development (MDS) in order to obtain entities participating in the survey, and then to collect the accounting information disclosed. In addition, descriptive statistics were used for data treatment. Results: The research showed that the level of care provided to ITG 2002 (R1), can be considered reasonable, however the findings of the investigation reveal that the management of the Social Welfare Benefit Entity (EBAS) does not prioritize the preparation and disclosure of the accounting information for use or to account for the various users. Contributions of the Study: The present research provides contributions because its research source was inspired by the accounting practices envisaged in the ITG 2002 (R1) adopted by the EBAS, and the study may advance further investigations in entities operating in other sectors. The objective of this article is analyze the general characteristics presented by the media of the third sector in Mexico, making a comparison between that operate under a licensing scheme and media that work without state regulation. For this purpose, a census of the country's media was prepared using official documents, old directories and a referential sampling in digital social networks. The results are presented through a quantitative and descriptive look that allows identify the general characteristics of 399 media organizations, their platforms and uses of the different digital technologies. This research paper aims at identifying the fundraising strategies used by the Social Observatory in Sorriso-Mato Grosso, Brazil (OSSAEMT by its abbreviation in Spanish) during the period between 2010 and 2015. This study was based on a qualitative, exploratory, case study perspective. For the collection of data, semistructured interviews were carried out, containing a total of six open questions and four closed ones. Three managers who were members of executive boards between the years 2010 and 2015 were interviewed, after that the analysis of content was applied. The research outcomes lead to the identification of a poorly recognized institution due to low disclosure, fact that can become an obstacle for the raising of financial funds. These results also show that during the three management periods, the same fundraising strategies were applied: visits to companies for work disclosure, financial transparency for society, relationship with potential donators, and participation in events and conferences; however, only one manager used a new strategy for raising financial funds in the short term: selling stamps, indicating the need for organizational professionalism and the development of innovative strategies to effectively achieve goals and outcome. Este artículo describe y analiza la disputa por las concepciones del periodismo dentro de una redacción a la luz de la Sociología de la socialización. Con base en las nociones bourdiesianas sobre campo y capital simbólico y en el concepto de configuración de Norbert Elias, se pretende demostrar la fluidez de los bienes simbólicos en juego y de los grupos que miden fuerzas. La imprevisibilidad de la disputa también es evidente, lo que requiere intuición y sentido de juego por parte de los actores para planificar los próximos movimientos y predecir las acciones de los oponentes. The article describes and analyses, in the light of the Sociology of socialization, the dispute over the conceptions of journalism within a newsroom. Relying on the Bourdiesian notions of field and symbolic capital and on Norbert Elias’s concept of configuration, we seek to demonstrate the fluidity of the symbolic goods at stake and of the groups that measure forces. The unpredictability of the dispute is also evident, requiring intuition and a sense of the game from the actors to plan the next moves and predict the opponents’ actions. Este artigo descreve e analisa, à luz da Sociologia da socialização, a disputa em torno das concepções de jornalismo dentro de uma redação. Apoiando-nos nas noções bourdiesianas de campo e de capital simbólico e no conceito de configuração de Norbert Elias, procuramos demonstrar a fluidez dos bens simbólicos em jogo e dos grupos que medem forças. Evidencia-se também a imprevisibilidade da disputa, exigindo dos atores intuição e sentido de jogo para planejar os movimentos seguintes e prever as ações dos adversários.

The Third Sector organizations need to determine measures and criteria to classify their performance against the stipulated goals in order to clearly demonstrate to their funders that the investment has been used honestly and efficiently way. Therefore, this article aims to propose a performance measurement instrument for third sector organizations. For this, a systematic review was carried out and the results demonstrated a wide variety of indicators that can be divided into 7 dimensions proposed in this study: economic/financial, control mechanisms, employees/volunteers, organizational efficiency, service effectiveness, social efficiency and legitimacy institution. The objective of this study is to analyze the perception of the accountants regarding the difficulties of technical competence for the implementation of the Public Digital Bookkeeping System (SPED) in third sector entities. The proposal is to contribute to a greater understanding of the problems of professional competence underlying the implementation of SPED, as well as to sensitize professionals in the area to the relevance of fostering continuing education actions. The study population is made up of accounting firm operators, operating in Brazilian capitals in the year 2015, registered with the National Federation of Accounting Services Companies and Advisory, Information, and Research Companies (FENACON). A non-probabilistic sampling was used, characterized by convenience, and to obtain this sample, an electronic mail message was sent to the accounting operators of 140 offices belonging to several Brazilian capitals, with the link of the questionnaire prepared using Google Docs and available for acceptance of responses in the period of October and November 2015. The results detect significant deficiencies in technical training that are often not compatible with the knowledge required for the effective implementation of SPED in the Third Sector and the lack of a greater performance of the internal control of the organization. As organizações não governamentais (ONGs) são um dos tipos de organizações que compõem o terceiro setor. Este estudo tem o objetivo de identificar as estratégias para captação de recursos utilizada por uma ONG brasileira, verificar a interface com o marketing social e levantar oportunidades de aplicar estratégias para alavancar a captação de recursos. A pesquisa foi qualitativa, com o método de estudo de caso no Núcleo Social de Diadema. Como conclusões, foi possível avaliar vários pontos que fazem interface com o marketing. Os administradores devem procurar transpor as barreiras que existem nestes setores para a implantação da atividade e organizá-la, evitando dispersão de esforços. O planejamento estratégico deve ser aplicado pelas instituições do setor, bem como incluir uma adequada distribuição das diferentes fontes de recursos. Há uma tendência de centralização para a captação de recursos, o que limita a arrecadação. As estratégias de marketing se limitam à comunicação. No entanto há a diversificação de captação de recursos. Entre as várias conclusões apresentadas, percebe-se a necessidade de aplicação do marketing social na captação de doações para organizações com propostas sociais., Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are one of the types of organizations that make up the third sector. This study aims to identify the fundraising strategies used by a Brazilian NGO, to verify the interface between fundraising and social marketing to apply strategies to leverage fundraising. The research was qualitative, using the case study method at the Diadema Social Center. As conclusions, it was possible to evaluate several points that interface with marketing. Managers must try to overcome the barriers that exist in these sectors for the activity implementation and organize it, avoiding dispersion of efforts. Strategic planning must be applied by the sector’s institutions, as well as including an appropriate distribution of the different sources of funds. There is a tendency towards centralization for fundraising, which limits collection. Marketing strategies are limited to communication. However, there is diversification of fundraising. Among the various conclusions presented, there is a need to apply social marketing in attracting donations to organizations with social proposals., Las organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONGs) son uno de los tipos de organizaciones que conforman el tercer sector. Este estudio tiene como objetivo identificar las estrategias de recaudación de fondos utilizadas por una ONG brasileña, verificar la interfaz con el marketing social y generar oportunidades de aplicar estrategias para aprovechar la recaudación de fondos. La investigación fue cualitativa, utilizando el método de estudio de caso en el Núcleo Social de Diadema. Como conclusiones, fue posible evaluar varios puntos que interactúan con el marketing. Los administradores deben tratar de superar las barreras que existen en estos sectores para la implementación de la actividad y organizarla, evitando la dispersión de esfuerzos. La planificación estratégica debe ser aplicada por las instituciones del sector, además de incluir una adecuada distribución de las diferentes fuentes de fondos. Existe una tendencia a la centralización para la recaudación de fondos, lo que limita la recaudación. Las estrategias de marketing se limitan a la comunicación. Sin embargo, existe una diversificación de la recaudación de fondos. Entre las diversas conclusiones presentadas, se destaca la necesidad de aplicar el marketing social en la captación de donaciones a organizaciones con propuestas sociales.

[Resumo] Organizações do Terceiro Setor estão sendo inseridas na sociedade devido aos seus objetivos ligados à resolução de problemas sociais. Elas fazem parte de uma área de estudo do empreendedorismo social. Para auxiliar na gestão destas instituições, o composto de marketing social é uma ferramenta que pode ser utilizada. Neste contexto, a presente pesquisa visa analisar, através do método estudo de caso, as estratégias do composto de marketing da BioMudaSe. Foram realizadas entrevistas e análise de artigos e do modelo de gestão da BioMudaSe para a coleta de evidências. Observou-se que a organização estudada depende da demanda de projetos oriundos de diversos stakeholders, principalmente o Governo do Estado de Sergipe. Também foi verificado que a BioMudaSe não possui um composto de marketing bem definido. Contudo, a BioMudaSe é uma organização que está promovendo mudanças sociais no Estado de Sergipe com produtos inovadores, por meio do uso da biotecnologia. [Resumen] Las organizaciones del tercer sector son cada vez más importantes en la sociedad como modelos de cambio social y emprendimiento. Este artículo analiza el uso del marketing social como estrategia de gestión dentro de organizaciones de este tipo. El artículo utiliza una metodología de estudio de caso para examinar el uso de estrategias de marketing mix por parte de la Biofábrica de Sergipe (BioMudaSe) como un ejemplo de emprendimiento social. Los datos se recopilaron a partir de una serie de entrevistas y análisis de artículos y el modelo de gestión BioMudaSe. Los resultados indican que BioMudaSe depende de la demanda de proyectos de diferentes partes interesadas, especialmente del gobierno del estado de Sergipe, y que la empresa no tiene una estrategia de marketing bien definida. Sin embargo, el estudio también mostró que BioMudaSe promueve el cambio social en el Estado de Sergipe a través de su uso innovador de la biotecnología. [Abstract] Third sector organisations are becoming increasingly important in society as models of social change and entrepreneurship. This article looks at the use of social marketing mix as a management strategy within organisations of this type. The article uses a case study methodology to examine the use of marketing mix strategies by the Seedling Biofactory in Sergipe (BioMudaSe) as an example of social entrepreneurship. Data for the study were collected from a series of interviews and analysis of articles and the BioMudaSe management model. The results found that BioMudaSe depends on the demand for projects from different stakeholders, especially the state government of Sergipe, and that the company does not have a well-defined marketing mix. Nevertheless, the study also showed that BioMudaSe promotes social change in the State of Sergipe through its innovative use of biotechnology.

The Transparency Law addresses the accountability of the public entity to the citizen. In this sense, social organizations financed by funds from government agencies are subject to these precepts. This article aims to explore differences among implementation levels of transparency in Brazilian social organizations. In order to achieve this goal, a qualitativeexploratory research was carried out through a multicase study. The data were analysed in light of the content analysis technique. A theoretical model that would foreground a debate on the strategic importance of the Third Sector in Brazil is provided and discussed. Foregrounded on the hypothesis-deduction method with argumentation based on Charles Gide's doctrine and on the concepts of Political Economy, current essay establishes a connection between the bases of Social Economy and the Third Sector. In fact, the theme is largely unknown among social segments. Since market and State faults brought social emptiness, the emergence of the Third Sector was a response to organized civil society to establish new paradigms for the social process. Decrease in social inequalities, poverty and a greater participation of citizens in the social process are no longer merely problems of the State. The Third Sector is a strategic activity not merely to reveal the importance of voluntary activities but also a promising labor market in Brazil. Further, it is a means for cost reduction in public policies due to their closeness to civil society which allows a greater allocation of scanty public resources. Considering growth of the Third Sector in the Brazilian scenario and the changes and processes required in the management and activities of these institutions, it is believed that characterizing these management practices and the action of the managers as a social practice will lead to a better understanding of procedures and managerial roles through which the changes and professionalization of organizations in the Third Sector occur in society. The methodological procedures were qualitative in nature, using a structured interview to collect data. The approach adopted favored the area of management that emerges as one of the major challenges experienced by these organizations. The sample was composed of 20 managers, 12 women and 8 men, with at least 3 years of effective work responsibility in different areas of Third Sector organizations in the Brazilian city of Belo Horizonte. Results confirmed that in recent years aspects such as volunteers, partnership, stature and management itself are some of the transformations in the context of the Third Sector. But the highlight of these changes in the sector is management, which is in an accelerated advance searching for professionalism. For effectiveness and consolidation, it is essential that management be conceived and realized from a practical perspective, because the management field in the Third Sector was shown to be a consolidated social practice.Frente al crecimiento del Tercer Sector en el escenario brasileño y las transformaciones exigidas y ocurridas en los procesos gerenciales y en el ámbito de la actuación de esas instituciones, se cree que caracterizar sus prácticas de gestión y la realidad de los gerentes como una práctica social llevará a mejorar la comprensión de los procesos y de los roles gerenciales, por medio de los cuales ocurren las transformaciones y profesionalización de las organizaciones del Tercer Sector en la sociedad. Los procedimientos metodológicos usados fueron de carácter cualitativo, con la utilización de entrevista estructurada como método de colecta de datos. El recorte adoptado privilegió el sector de la gestión, que surge como uno de los mayores desafÃos vivenciados por las organizaciones del Tercer Sector. La muestra fue compuesta por 20 gerentes - 12 mujeres y 8 hombres -, con un mÃnimo de 3 años de trabajo efectivo en el puesto en las distintas áreas de actuación de organizaciones del Tercer Sector ubicadas en el municipio de Belo Horizonte. Sus resultados confirman que aspectos como voluntariado, aparcerÃa, estatuto y la propia gestión son algunas de las transformaciones existentes en el contexto del Tercer Sector en los últimos años. Pero el destaque de esas transformaciones en el sector es la gestión, que se encuentra en un movimiento acelerado de búsqueda por la profesionalización. Para su efectividad y consolidación, es indispensable que la gestión sea concebida e idealizada bajo la perspectiva praxeológica ya que el área gerencial del Tercer Sector se ha mostrado una práctica social consolidada.Diante do crescimento do Terceiro Setor no cenário brasileiro e das transformações exigidas e ocorridas nos processos gerenciais e no âmbito de atuação dessas instituições, acredita-se que caracterizar suas práticas de gestão e a realidade dos gerentes como uma prática social acarretará uma melhor compreensão dos processos e dos papéis gerenciais, por meio dos quais ocorrem as transformações e profissionalização das organizações do Terceiro Setor na sociedade. En el presente trabajo se destaca la importancia de que exista un concepto unívoco del tercer sector. En primer lugar se justifica esta relevancia conceptual desde un punto de vista epistemológico tanto para el estudio de los hechos sociales (objeto de conocimiento) como para la propia configuración de las comunidades científicas (sujeto del conocimiento). En segundo lugar, también se argumenta esta necesidad de univocidad ya que condiciona las diferentes políticas públicas, y porque incide en la interacción de los agentes que contribuyen al cambio social. Por último se abordan los rasgos que pueden delimitar este espacio social propio, por un lado, y a caracterizar las particularidades de las entidades que operan en el mismo, por otro.No presente trabalho destaca-se a importância de que exista um conceito unívoco do Terceiro Setor. Em primeiro lugar, justifica-se esta relevância conceitual desde um ponto de vista epistemológico, tanto para o estudo dos fatos sociais (objeto de conhecimento), quanto para a própria configuração das comunidades científicas (sujeito do conhecimento). It first justifies the conceptual importance of univocality from a epistemological perspective and for the study of social facts (as an object of knowledge). Secondly, it argues the need for univocality since the concept is relevant to various public policies, and because it influences the integration of agents who contribute to social change. Finally, it looks at the divisions that can both confine social space and characterize the particularities of the entities that operate within it.

Training, Development, and Education assessments have intensified in recent decades, and empirical evidence proves their effectiveness in organizational outcomes. However, the literature shows little research on the results of training in cooperative organizations. This study aimed to evaluate a training program for credit union counselors based on Training, Development, and Education evaluation models associated with logical models. This is an empirical study with a qualitative design. Data collection was performed through an analysis of 229 documents, three semi-structured individual interviews, and a focus group. The results of the research corroborate findings related to the usefulness of the integrated use of systemic evaluation approaches and indicate that these models apply to the context of cooperative training. This study fills a methodological gap in the field of instructional psychology in third sector organizations. Resumo As avaliações de Treinamento, Desenvolvimento e Educação têm se intensificado nas últimas décadas, e evidências empíricas comprovam a eficácia delas nos resultados organizacionais. No entanto, a literatura evidencia poucas pesquisas sobre os resultados de treinamentos em organizações cooperativas. Este estudo teve por objetivo avaliar um programa de treinamento para conselheiros de cooperativas de crédito a partir de modelos de avaliação em Treinamento, Desenvolvimento e Educação associados a modelos lógicos. Trata-se de um estudo empírico com delineamento qualitativo. A coleta de dados foi realizada por meio de análise de 229 documentos, três entrevistas individuais semiestruturadas e grupo focal. Os resultados da pesquisa corroboram achados relacionados à utilidade do uso integrado de abordagens sistêmicas de avaliação e indicam que esses modelos são aplicáveis ao contexto de treinamentos de cooperativas. Uma das contribuições deste estudo foi suprir uma lacuna metodológica no campo da psicologia instrucional em organizações do terceiro setor. Resumen Durante las últimas décadas, las evaluaciones de capacitación, desarrollo y educación se han intensificado, y la evidencia empírica demuestra su eficacia en los resultados de la organización. Sin embargo, la literatura muestra poca investigación sobre los resultados de la capacitación en cooperativas. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo evaluar un programa de capacitación para consejeros de cooperativas de crédito con base en modelos de evaluación asociados a modelos lógicos. Se trata de un estudio empírico cualitativo. La recopilación de datos se realizó mediante el análisis de 229 documentos, tres entrevistas semiestructuradas y un grupo focal. Los resultados de la investigación corroboran los hallazgos relacionados con la utilidad del uso integrado de enfoques de evaluación sistémica e indican que estos modelos son aplicables al contexto de cooperativa. Una de las contribuciones de este estudio ha sido la de llenar la laguna metodológica en el campo de la psicología instructiva en organizaciones del tercer sector.

Introduction: Organizational commitment and job satisfaction are defined as issues of great interest in the management of human capital, as the evidence shows, they are strongly associated. Objective: To explain the association between organizational commitment and job satisfaction, as well as their relationship with personal and professional determinants. Methods: The case study of the institutional subtype, integrates an empirical approach of a descriptive-explanatory nature that investigates a current phenomenon in its real context, enabling its characterization. The non-probabilistic convenience sample comprised 42 female participants, being that 40.5% aged between 51 and 60 years. The following data instruments were recognized: Sociodemographic and Professional Characterization Questionnaire; Scale of Organizational Commitment, by Meyer and Allen (1997), Portuguese version by Nascimento (2012); Hackman and Oldham's Job Satisfaction Scale (1975), Portuguese version by Nascimento (2006). Results: Age was associated with organizational commitment, with participants aged 51-60 having higher scores, (greater commitment), in all dimensions. Contrarily, respondents aged 18-30 scored with lower attachments (less commitment), in the three dimensions. Age only significantly influences the normative dimension of organizational commitment. In turn, the affective component of organizational commitment predicts job satisfaction. Consequently, the stronger the individual's emotional connection with the organization, the greater their satisfaction with work. Conclusion: In line with other investigations, in the study carried out during the master's internship, it was found that organizational commitment determines job satisfaction, hence they are factors to consider in the management of human resources at the level of the third sector., Introducción: El compromiso organizacional y la satisfacción laboral son temas de gran interés en la gestión del capital humano, ya que la evidencia actual muestra que están fuertemente asociados. Objetivo: Explicar la asociación entre el compromiso organizacional y la satisfacción laboral, así como su relación con los determinantes personales y profesionales. Método: El estudio de caso del subtipo institucional, integra un enfoque empírico de carácter descriptivo-explicativo que investiga un fenómeno actual en su contexto real, posibilitando su caracterización. La muestra de conveniencia no probabilística estuvo compuesta por 42 mujeres participantes, de las cuales el 40,5% tiene entre 51 y 60 años.Se aplicaron los siguientes instrumentos de recolección de datos: Cuestionario de Caracterización Sociodemográfica y Profesional; Escala de Compromiso Organizacional, de Meyer y Allen (1997), versión portuguesa de Nascimento (2012); Escala de satisfacción laboral de Hackman y Oldham (1975), versión portuguesa de Nascimento (2006). Resultados: La edad se asoció con el compromiso organizacional, siendo los participantes de 51 a 60 años los que obtuvieron puntajes más altos (mayor compromiso), en todas las dimensiones. Por el contrario, los encuestados de entre 18 y 30 años obtuvieron puntuaciones más bajas (menos compromiso) en las tres dimensiones. La edad solo influye significativamente en la dimensión normativa del compromiso organizacional. A su vez, el componente afectivo del compromiso organizacional predice la satisfacción laboral, es decir, cuanto más fuerte es la conexión emocional del individuo con la organización, mayor es su satisfacción con el trabajo. Conclusión: En línea con otras investigaciones, se encontró que el compromiso organizacional determina la satisfacción laboral, de ahí que sean factores a considerar en la gestión de recursos humanos a nivel del tercer sector., Introdução: O comprometimento organizacional e a satisfação laboral constituem problemáticas de grande interesse na gestão do capital humano, porquanto as evidências atuais mostram que se encontram fortemente associadas. Por sua vez, a componente afetiva do comprometimento organizacional prediz a satisfação laboral, isto é, quanto mais forte é a ligação emocional do indivíduo com a organização, maior será a sua satisfação com o trabalho. Conclusão: Em concordância com outras investigações, apurou-se que o comprometimento organizacional determina a satisfação laboral, daí serem fatores a considerar na gestão de recursos humanos ao nível do terceiro setor.

In order to meet the proposed objective, a bibliographic research, exploratory research, in-depth interview and document analysis. Este artículo tiene como objectivo comprender el uso de las redes sociales por parte de las organizaciones del tercer sector del área de salud de São Borja: Grupo de Apoyo para Pacientes com cáncer, Liga de cáncer de mujeres de São Borja y Sociedad de beneficencia Ivan Goulart. Para cumplir com el objectivo propuesto se realizo una investigación bibliográfica, investigación exploratoria, entrevista en profundidad y análisis de documentos. Este trabalho tem como objetivo entender o uso das mídias sociais realizado pelas organizações do terceiro setor da área da saúde de São Borja: Grupo de Apoio aos Pacientes Oncológicos de São Borja, Liga Feminina de Combate ao Câncer de São Borja e Sociedade Beneficente Ivan Goulart. Para atender ao objetivo proposto foram realizadas pesquisa bibliográfica, pesquisa exploratória, entrevista em profundidade e análise documental.

Resumo As organizações não governamentais (ONGs) são um dos tipos de organizações que compõem o terceiro setor. Este estudo tem o objetivo de identificar as estratégias para captação de recursos utilizada por uma ONG brasileira, verificar a interface com o marketing social e levantar oportunidades de aplicar estratégias para alavancar a captação de recursos. A pesquisa foi qualitativa, com o método de estudo de caso no Núcleo Social de Diadema. Como conclusões, foi possível avaliar vários pontos que fazem interface com o marketing. Os administradores devem procurar transpor as barreiras que existem nestes setores para a implantação da atividade e organizá-la, evitando dispersão de esforços. O planejamento estratégico deve ser aplicado pelas instituições do setor, bem como incluir uma adequada distribuição das diferentes fontes de recursos. Há uma tendência de centralização para a captação de recursos, o que limita a arrecadação. As estratégias de marketing se limitam à comunicação. No entanto há a diversificação de captação de recursos. Entre as várias conclusões apresentadas, percebe-se a necessidade de aplicação do marketing social na captação de doações para organizações com propostas sociais. Abstract Non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are one of the types of organizations that make up the third sector. This study aims to identify the fundraising strategies used by a Brazilian NGO, to verify the interface between fundraising and social marketing to apply strategies to leverage fundraising. The research was qualitative, using the case study method at the Diadema Social Center. As conclusions, it was possible to evaluate several points that interface with marketing. Managers must try to overcome the barriers that exist in these sectors for the activity implementation and organize it, avoiding dispersion of efforts. Strategic planning must be applied by the sector’s institutions, as well as including an appropriate distribution of the different sources of funds. There is a tendency towards centralization for fundraising, which limits collection. Marketing strategies are limited to communication. However, there is diversification of fundraising. Among the various conclusions presented, there is a need to apply social marketing in attracting donations to organizations with social proposals. Resumen Las organizaciones no gubernamentales (ONGs) son uno de los tipos de organizaciones que conforman el tercer sector. Este estudio tiene como objetivo identificar las estrategias de recaudación de fondos utilizadas por una ONG brasileña, verificar la interfaz con el marketing social y generar oportunidades de aplicar estrategias para aprovechar la recaudación de fondos. La investigación fue cualitativa, utilizando el método de estudio de caso en el Núcleo Social de Diadema. Como conclusiones, fue posible evaluar varios puntos que interactúan con el marketing. Los administradores deben tratar de superar las barreras que existen en estos sectores para la implementación de la actividad y organizarla, evitando la dispersión de esfuerzos. La planificación estratégica debe ser aplicada por las instituciones del sector, además de incluir una adecuada distribución de las diferentes fuentes de fondos. Existe una tendencia a la centralización para la recaudación de fondos, lo que limita la recaudación. Las estrategias de marketing se limitan a la comunicación. Sin embargo, existe una diversificación de la recaudación de fondos. Entre las diversas conclusiones presentadas, se destaca la necesidad de aplicar el marketing social en la captación de donaciones a organizaciones con propuestas sociales.

El presente trabajo trata el fenómeno de las empresas recuperadas por sus trabajadores (ERT) en el marco de la crisis económica, social y política emergente hacia finales de la década de los '90. Se discuten críticamente los intentos por caracterizar a las ERT en el entramado conceptual de las nociones de exclusión social, tercer sector de la economía y economía social. Al mismo tiempo que se intenta un análisis del campo de posibilidades y límites en el que se desenvuelve la autogestión obrera en dichas empresas recuperadas, se describen procesos de innovación social de interés para la Antropología Económica.O presente trabalho versa sobre o fenômeno das empresas recuperadas por seus trabalhadores (ERT) no contexto da crise econômica, social e política emergente no final dos anos 90. As tentativas de caracterizar as ERT no marco conceitual das noções de exclusão social, terceiro setor da economia e economia social são discutidas criticamente. Ao mesmo tempo em que se esboça uma análise do campo de possibilidades e limites no qual se desenvolve a autogestão dos trabalhadores em ditas empresas recuperadas, descreve-se processos de inovação social de interesse para a Antropologia Econômica.This writing deals with the phenomenon of Companies Recovered by Workers (or ERT in Spanish) within the context of the economic, social and political crisis that took place by the end of the '90. The attempts made at outlining the ERT´s within the conceptual framework of the notions of social exclusion, third sector of economy and social economy are discussed from a criticism perspective. This is both an attempt at assessing the range of possibilities and boundaries in which workers self-management unfolds within those recovered companies and describing the processes of social innovation that are relevant for economic anthropology.

48. La filantropía como genesis de la Educación Especial

The objective of this study is to discuss philanthropy as the genesis of Special Education based on the Associations of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional (Apaes). The Apaes, as institutions for the attendance of people with disabilities, were popularized and disseminated, gradually constituting a true subsystem of Special Education, with an existence of more than two thousand units spread across the country, with state federations and a national federation. As an empirical, field was elected the magazine Mensagem da Apae from the period of 1974 to 2016, totaling 105 issues. To analyze the content of the magazines we sought the contributions of Gramsci (2001; 2014), delimiting categories of analysis, such as Integral State and hegemony. Based on the analysis we divided the historical period in three moments linked to philanthropy: traditional philanthropy, professionalization of philanthropy and the new philanthropy and the “third sector”. It was concluded that the philanthropy accompanies the Special Education since its beginnings, although the philanthropy has undergone changes over time, the mark of disability is what defines aid to the helpless, the charity and the benevolence. The attendance to people diagnosed with intellectual and multiple disabilities in philanthropic private institutions, especially in APAEs, took place with the approval of the State. El objetivo de este estudio es discutir la filantropía como génesis de la Educación Especial de Asociaciones de Padres y Amigos de los Excepcionales (APAES). Apaes, como instituciones para educación de personas con discapacidad, se han popularizado y difundido, constituyendo gradualmente un verdadero subsistema de Educación Especial, con existencia de más de dos mil unidades repartidas por todo el país, con federaciones regionales y una federación nacional. Como campo empírico seleccionamos la revista Mensagem da Apae de 1974 a 2016, totalizando 105 ediciones. Analizar el contenido de las revistas buscadas en el razonamiento de Gramsci (2001; 2014), delimitando categorías de análisis, como Estado integral y hegemonía. Dividimos el periodo histórico en tres momentos vinculados a la filantropía, denominado: filantropía tradicional, profesionalización de la filantropía y una nueva filantropía y el “tercer sector”. Concluya que una filantropía acompaña a una Educación Especial desde sus comienzos, aunque una filantropía ha sufrido cambios con el tiempo, una señal de dificultad que define la ayuda a los desfavorecidos, una caridad y una benevolencia. La educación a personas diagnosticadas con discapacidad intelectuales y múltiple en instituciones filantrópicas privadas, especialmente en APAES, se llevó a cabo con la aprobación del Estado. O objetivo deste estudo é discutir a filantropia como a gênese da Educação Especial a partir das Associações de Pais e Amigos dos Excepcionais (Apaes). As Apaes, como instituições para o atendimento das pessoas com deficiência, foram se popularizando e se disseminaram, constituindo, gradativamente, um sistema de Educação Especial, com a existência de mais de duas mil unidades espalhadas em todo o país, com federações estaduais e uma federação nacional. Como campo empírico, elegeu-se a revista Mensagem da Apae no período de 1974 a 2016, totalizando 105 edições. Para analisar o conteúdo das revistas, buscaram-se as contribuições de Gramsci (2001; 2014), delimitando categorias de análise, como Estado Integral e hegemonia. A partir das análises, dividiu-se o período histórico em três momentos ligados à filantropia: filantropia tradicional, profissionalização da filantropia e a nova filantropia e o “terceiro setor”. RESUMEN El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo verificar empíricamente las prácticas de gestión del conocimiento en una organización del tercer sector (ONG). Las Organizaciones no gubernamentales son cada vez más importantes, ya que logran suplir necesidades sociales insatisfechas; por tanto, el estudio de sus prácticas de gestión del conocimiento, es significativo para el apoyo al mejoramiento de su gestión. Este artículo aborda un estudio de caso; el enfoque de investigación es cualitativo, de tipo descriptivo y para la recolección de información se aplicaron entrevistas semi - estructuradas. El caso de estudio es la Fundación Carlos Portela, una organización reconocida en el Valle del Cauca (Colombia), por su labor de apoyo a los niños con cáncer y sus familias. Los resultados obtenidos en el estudio evidencian que la Fundación Carlos Portela desarrolla prácticas de adquisición, socialización, almacenamiento, distribución y uso del conocimiento, que en su mayoría, carecen de una estructura formalmente establecida. Esta situación se puede explicar principalmente porque no existe claridad de lo que significa gestionar el conocimiento y de los beneficios, oportunidades y potencialidades que representa esta actividad para el desarrollo de las organizaciones. JEL: D83, L31, M10, M14, M19 ABSTRACT This paper aims to empirically verify knowledge management practices in a third sector organization (NGO). Non-governmental organizations are increasingly important, since they manage to meet unmet social needs; therefore, the study of their knowledge management practices is significant to support the improvement of their management. This article addresses a case study; the research approach is qualitative, descriptive and semi-structured interviews were applied to the collection of information. The case study is the Carlos Portela Foundation, an organization recognized in the Valle del Cauca (Colombia), for its work in support of children with cancer and their families. The results obtained in the study show that the Carlos Portela Foundation develops practices of acquisition, socialization, storage, distribution and use of knowledge, which for the most part lack a formally established structure. This situation can be explained mainly because there is no clarity of what it means to manage knowledge and the benefits, opportunities and potentials that this activity represents for the development of organizations.
