Cementitious–glass composite bricks (CGCBs) with 3D-printed reinforcement structures made of PET-G could be an innovative production method that relies on recycling glass waste (78%) and PET-G (8%). These bricks offer a promising solution for the construction industry, which has a significant impact on climate change due to its greenhouse gas emissions and extensive use of natural aggregates. The approach presented in this article serves as an alternative to using conventional building materials that are not only costlier but also less environmentally friendly. The conducted research included mechanical tests using digital image correlation (DIC), utilized for measuring deformations in specimens subjected to three-point bending and compression tests, as well as thermal investigations covering measurements of their thermal conductivity, thermal diffusivity, and specific heat. The results highlighted the superior thermal properties of the CGCBs with PET-G reinforcements compared to traditional cementitious–glass mortar (CGM). The CGCBs exhibited a 12% lower thermal conductivity and a 17% lower specific heat. Additionally, the use of specially designed reinforcement substantially enhanced the mechanical properties of the bricks. The increasing amount of waste from the vulcanization industry has become a serious environmental challenge. Even the partial reuse of the steel contained in tires as dispersed reinforcement in the production of new building materials may contribute to reducing the environmental impact of this industry while supporting the principle of sustainable development. In this study, the concrete samples were made of Portland cement, tap water, lightweight perlite aggregates, and steel cord fibers. Two different addition of steel cord fibers (1.3% and 2.6% wt. of concrete, respectively) were used. The samples of lightweight concrete based on perlite aggregate with steel cord fiber addition showed a significant increase in compressive (18–48%), tensile (25–52%), and flexural strength (26–41%). Moreover, higher thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity were reported after incorporating steel cord fibers into the concrete matrix; however, the specific heat values decreased after these modifications. The highest values of thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity were obtained for samples modified with a 2.6% addition of steel cord fibers and were equal to 0.912 ± 0.002 W/mK and 0.562 ± 0.002 µm2/s, respectively. This study provides an alternative to traditional masonry materials: a cement–glass composite brick (CGCB), with a printed polyethylene terephthalate glycol (PET-G) internal scaffolding (gyroidal structure). This newly designed building material consists of 86% waste (78% glass waste, and 8% recycled PET-G). It can respond to the construction market's needs and provide a cheaper alternative to traditional materials. Performed tests showed an improvement in thermal properties after the use of an internal grate in the brick matrix, i.e., an increase in thermal conductivity (5%), and a decrease in thermal diffusivity (8%) and specific heat (10%). The obtained anisotropy of the CGCB's mechanical properties was much lower than the non-scaffolded parts, indicating a very positive effect of using this type of scaffolding in CGCB bricks. The amount of steel chips generated by lathes and CNC machines is 1200 million tons per year, and they are difficult to recycle. The effect of adding steel chips without pre-cleaning (covered with production lubricants and cooling oils) on the properties of concrete was investigated. Steel waste was added as a replacement for fine aggregate in the amounts of 5%, 10% and 15% of the cement weight, which correspond with 1.1%, 2.2% and 3.3% mass of all ingredients and 0.33%, 0.66% and 0.99% volume of concrete mix, respectively. The slump cone, air content, pH value, density, compressive strength, tensile strength, tensile splitting strength, elastic modulus, Poisson's ratio and thermal parameters were tested. It was observed that with the addition of lathe waste, the density decreased, but mechanical properties increased. With the addition of 5%, 10% and 15% metal chips, compressive strength increased by 13.9%, 20.8% and 36.3% respectively compared to plain concrete; flexural strength by 7.1%, 12.7% and 18.2%; and tensile splitting strength by 4.2%, 33.2% and 38.4%. Moreover, it was determined that with addition of steel chips, thermal diffusivity was reduced and specific heat capacity increased. With the addition of 15% metal chips, thermal diffusivity was 25.2% lower than in the reference sample, while specific heat was 23.0% higher. No effect was observed on thermal conductivity.
