The article discusses how the recent tensions between the U.S. and Canada have led to issues in the historical partnership between the two nations, which share similar culture and the longest border in the world. Canada has been one of the closest military allies of the U.S., however, only 39 percent of Canadians now view the U.S. positively. President Donald Trump imposed a 25% tariff on steel and a 10% tariff on aluminum that enters the U.S. from Canada, which led to more tensions.
