The application of various chemical products for plant protection and plant biostimulans increases financial costs, which is a prerequisite for their combined application in tank mixtures. During 2021 and 2022 on the experimental field of the Agricultural University of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, a field experiment with the rye variety “Milenium” was performed. The aim of the trial was to study the application of plant protection products in tank mixture with biostimluant and its influence to the rye grain yield and quality. The trial included the following treatments: 1. Untreated control; 2. Granstar 75 DF - 15 g ha-1 (herbicide); 3. Granstar 75 DF - 15 g ha-1 + Zantara 216 EC - 1.25 l ha-1 (fungicide); 4. Granstar 75 DF - 15 g ha-1 + Amino Expert Impuls - 3.00 l ha-1 (biostimulant); 5. Granstar 75 DF - 15 g ha-1 + Zantara 216 EC - 1.25 l ha-1 + Amino Expert Impuls - 3.00 l ha-1. The highest rye grain yield, absolute and hectoliter seed mass, grain wet gluten and crude protein for treatment 5 were recorded. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In the period 2018-2019, the biological efficacy of new herbicides and herbicide combinations for maize was studied in the experimental field of Agricultural University, Plovdiv. The experiment was performed using the block method with DuPont Pioneer hybrid P0216 and included preparations applied in phase 5-6 leaf of the crop. In both experimental years, annual late-spring dicotyledonous species predominate - Amaranthus retroflexus L.,Chenopodium album L., Solanum nigrum L., Xantium strumarium L., Datura stramonium L., Abutilon theophrasti Medic., Portulaca oleracea L. From the perennial weeds 2 species are common - Sorghum halepens? (L.) Pers and Convolvulus arvensis L. The best control of weeding was observed when using the combination of Victus OD - 1250 ml/ha + Cabadex Extra - 300 ml/ha. Three hybrids of maize of Pioneеr Company (P9241, P9900 and P0023) grown at different plant densities (40000, 46000, 56000, 69000 number per ha) were studied in the experimental field of Agricultural University of Plovdiv in 2015 and 2016. The purpose of this study was to trace the influence of sowing density of maize hybrids on growth and yield. The experiments were carried out by split-plots method. The experimental areas were fertilized with a nitrogen fertilizer rate of 240 kg/ha - ½ CO(NH2)2, applied in the 5-6 leaf stage of the plant and ½ NH4NO3, applied into the 10th leaf stage. A hybrid P9900 has the highest plants at the end of vegetation. There was no significant difference between variants with plant densities - from 279.4 cm (40000 plants/ha) to 284.4 cm (56000 plants/ha). Height of plants of hybrid P9241 was the smallest - 260.5 cm at a sowing density of 40000 plants/ha. The highest yield between 3 hybrids was obtained at a sowing density of 69000 plants per ha. Hybrid P9241 showed yield of 13800 kg/ha, while hybrid P9900 - 14257 kg/ha. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
